A dark family- part 3

Another one of my own. A follow on from Ch1214 "A dark family- part 2", just exploring the dark Charmings.

When all their obvious enemies had been disposed of, the Charmings would occasionally pick out a random target from Storybrooke. Just to remind people they were still in charge. Emma, in particular, loved picking on the residents of the now terrified town. She would find a random resident and torture them in some way until they cracked. Today, it was a poor unsuspecting man Emma had never really seen before. She just happened to see in her magic mirror that he was alone. Just the way she liked her prey.

"Well hey there stranger." Emma said merrily as she poofed in front of him. "I do hope you didn't have any big plans for today." The man's face paled. He knew what the appearance of one of the Charmings meant. It was not good.

"What do you want?" He asked Emma directly. "I've done you no harm." Emma smirked.

"I know that." She told him before sighing. "I'm bored." She got up from the table she had been sitting on and strolled towards him. "So I've come to play." The man stepped back with a snarl. This was enough! He'd had friends taken by one of them. He wasn't going to be next. At the very least, he wasn't going down without a fight. He would not grovel.

"Go on then, do what you've got to do, but you won't get a whimper out of me you evil witch." He growled. He reached behind him and picked up a lamp. It was the first thing he could get his hand around. "And I won't go down without a fight!" As he swung the lamp towards Emma, he found it disappeared from his hand. He then found himself pinned to the wall, with Emma's parents now in the room. Emma smirked, resting her head against her dad's shoulder. She loved it when her parents intervened. She loved the screams, but didn't like getting her hands messy.

Snow was the one choking the frightened man against the wall with her magic.

"Charming. I do believe this peasant was going to try to harm our daughter." She snarled. The man couldn't defend himself. The breath was being squeezed out of his lungs.

"I do believe your right Snow." Charming responded, kissing the top of Emma's head. "We can't have that. Would you like to do the honours?"

"No." Snow sighed happily. "We do everything best when we do it together. Be my guest, darling." Snow prompted him. Charming needed no more encouragement. He kissed Emma's head and stepped up beside Snow. He looked into the eyes of the man he was about to murder. He loved this part best. When they silently pleaded for their puny life. Charming laughed coldly.

"You tried to hurt my girl. As if I would show you mercy." He told him. With that, he plunged his hand into the man's chest, wrenched out his heart, and crushed it into dust. Snow then released her chokehold on the man and let his body slump to the floor, dead. Emma smiled, enjoying the whole scene. She loved it when they had some family bonding time.
