A.N: **Ok, just a few things before you lovely people start reading, there's just a few things I'd like you all to know... Firstly, I've started at University so that's gonna take up a huge chunk of my time despite me only having to go for two days each week. Secondly, unlike most other Authors, I don't have the entire story written up and post sections into individual chapters, I'm just not that patient or clever, I just make chapters up as I go along at the moment. Thirdly, I'm thinking about Shipping Jessie with Marko and Paul as well as Dwayne, just because they're all so gorgeous and come on, who can seriously just walk past someone as adorable as Marko? But I have other plans for David 3:) And, I'm thinking I might have a bit of a Smutty chapter or two later on down the track and I'm certainly not game enough to write that kind of think up myself so if you're interested in doing a little job for me, feel free to put that in the review as well and I'll PM you about it when I can :P So, feel free to tell me what you think in reviews, feel free to be as detailed as you like as I don't mind constructive criticism and now I think I'll let you read the chapter now, sorry it's taken so long for me to put up :3 Sorry for making this Admin's Note into more like an Admin's Letter and taking up SO MUCH SPACE of your screens :3 **

Chapter 2: Meeting The Boys

Jessie's vibrant blue eyes widened as she took in the magnificent splendor of the manor's entry hall. Her ice-blue eyes seemed to glow in wonder as she looked around. The walls were made from the whitest marble she'd ever seen, all the furniture, every single piece in sight from the entryway which she still stood in, seemed to be either in a deep red or black velvet and looked expensive so she didn't want to sit down out of fear of ruining the fabrics. She quietly crept through various rooms as she looked around the ground level of the building, Max walking not too far behind her. Almost protectively as if he were preparing to quickly usher her away from certain places if she wandered too close or discovered something she shouldn't have.

She soon found her own way into the Parlor that, surprisingly, much to her surprise wasn't unoccupied. Off to the side of the large, luxurious looking and almost empty room stood four young men, all of them taller and seemingly not that much older than herself. Aside from the one with the shorter, blond and curly hair who quickly flashed the girl a grin that was rather alike one that the Cheshire Cat himself had given Alice after she'd fallen down the rabbit hole,

Boys, this young lady is Jessica. She shall be our guest this evening and she will remain so until she chooses to leave" Max announced from where he now stood behind her. All four of the young men ahead of her nodded in reply Max introduced them by name, starting with the shortest and moving along in order of their height, "Jessie, meet my boys, Marko, David, Paul and Dwayne" The five of them then exchanged their greetings with small smiles from the boys between words of charm and rehearsed greetings that they would have had hammered into their brains from the day they could first speak. But she replied with the same mannerisms she'd been taught as a child.

She didn't do it because of a respect for what her parents had taught her, because they meant nothing to her now, but she did it because to do so was a habit that she'd grown up with. Those kinds of habits were more often than not some of the hardest for someone to break. The kind they'd grown up with.

After quite a while after chatting with the boys, Max had been kind enough to lead her back through the manor to the grand staircase by the entry hall,

"I'll show you to your room Jessie" The older man said, soon followed by a warm, fatherly smile,

"Thank-you Max" Jessie replied softly, not returning the smile as she pulled a lock of her inky black hair back behind her ear and over her shoulder before following the man through what appeared to be a labyrinth of corridors and hallways. When they finally reached her room, Max left girl alone in peace, softly closing the door behind him as he went and leaving her alone in the lavishly decorated room.

Inside was a king sized four poster bed with red and black sheets, blankets and pillows. She also found a large wardrobe that was coincidentally filled with various gowns and dresses all in a wide range of colors that she liked. There was also a connecting bathroom opposite the bed.

Once she was left alone in the room, she had found that she had plenty of time to think as she cleaned herself up in the bathroom before changing out of her raggedy and filthy clothes. She found quite quickly that her mind became clouded by thoughts of the young men she'd briefly met downstairs. Despite only haven spoken to them for what seemed to be only a brief moment, Jessie truly was an excellent judge of character. She always had been able to know a fair bit about a person by either just looking at them or speaking with them for even the briefest of moments.

Paul, with his long blonde hair pulled back behind his head, she found to be attractive in a way with the roguish charm she found that he seemed to possess. Something she'd picked up on only from the smile he'd flashed her in the Parlor. She'd also taken note of his outgoing and joking personality and how easy it seemed to pick on him.

Dwayne seemed to be the silent mystery. Yet out of the four of them, she found herself to be more attracted to him. Being so tall with his dark hair and eyes, he seemed to have a dark and dangerous feeling about him that had definitely attracted her. She also definitely wanted to get to know him better and find out what mysteries he was hiding.

Marko was a mischievous looking blonde with curly hair and a smug and sneaking grin. He seemed to be someone that she could talk to and would value her opinions.

David she kind-of liked as well. Seemingly the leader of their group, judging by the look in his icy blue eyes, eyes that she noticed were quite similar to her own, except his were slightly paler. He was strong, wise and protective of those he cared about. He could possibly be keeping tabs on them out of a possible protective nature and was always ready to protect them if the occasion called for it.

Jessie had finally finished cleaning herself as she begrudgingly shook herself away from the path that her thoughts were leading her. She took a soft and fluffy white towel from a nearby pile and wrapped it around her thin frame before heading back into her room and taking a gown of black and green and dressing herself in the many layers of fabric once she'd gotten her hands on the appropriate undergarments.

Back in the parlor, Max had been finishing up a conversation with the boys when David decided to speak up after a moment of silence,

"You're sure? Max are you sure that his is the wisest thing for us all? For that human?" He asked the older man, practically spitting the word 'human' as he spoke before continuing, "What is it about her that could convince you, you of all people, to go ahead with this plan of yours? Other then the fact that her story could be similar to ours"

"I believe that she is quite a fine choice to bring into the family" Max replied in a soft monotone as he turned away from the immortal teenagers he'd created so long ago and poured a suggestive deep red liquid into a wine glass and bringing the glass to her lips before pausing, "I can feel her energy boys, her aura. I've not felt anything quite like it until I met you, David" The ancient Vampire continued before smirking, "For once in your lives boys, trust me on this. She may surprise you in more ways than any of you thought to be possible"
