Please stop kicking

Dutchwriter asked for a oneshot of Emma being pregnant and the only thing that soothes her baby is being spoken to by her significant other. They're not around, and although Emma's mortified, she has to ask her parents.

"It's really not that big a deal…"

"No."

"We know it's the only thing that stops the kicking…"

"It's still weird!"

Snow and Charming sighed. Why did their daughter have to be so stubborn? She was fit to burst with this baby already and she still had a good couple of months to go. Baby was letting poor Emma know how cramped and bored they were getting by practicing their keepy uppy skills. One of the few things that calmed baby down was when they were spoken to by someone other than Emma. Apparently mommy's voice just made them more excited. Emma's spouse was normally there to calm baby down, but they were out of Storybrooke on business. So Emma was staying with her parents just in case anything happened while they were gone. Apparently anything meant baby having a temper tantrum inside of her. She hated having anyone talk to her stomach. They always put on stupid voices and said strange things while rubbing her belly. Why did people suddenly think she was a magic lamp?! Emma knew she couldn't keep it up any longer though. Otherwise her baby was going to kick her intestines all out of place.

"Fine." Emma eventually relented. "But no stupid voices, and keep the touching to a minimal." She demanded.

"Whatever you say." Charming told her as he and Snow sat either side of Emma on the couch. They immediately launched into one of their stories from their past. One of Neal's old favourites. It didn't take long for their grandbaby to settle down. Not long after that, having finally gotten some peace, Emma fell asleep. Snow and Charming smiled. They took their chance to give her belly a little rub and say how excited they were to meet their new grandbaby in the most adorable baby voices they could. What Emma didn't know wouldn't hurt her.
