Disclaimer this is a fanfic for the chronicles of nick. I do not own it.
Authors note: this is a story in which the main character Nick (Ambrose) meets the son of the oldest god (Kai) who helps him to gain control of his powers. It takes place shortly after the events of illusion. It will be from a first person pov of Kai.
I groggily opened my eyes as I felt my power surging. That's when I realized that Adarian must have betrayed me even after I saved his worthless hide. Then I also realized I was back to full power. As I looked around, I realized I was encased in a crystalline structure. I quickly freed myself and conjured my armor and weapons. I roared in pure rage. My roar echoed and collapsed the ground above me enough that I was able to escape. I quickly snapped out my wings and shot into the sky. As I did, I concealed both my power and myself. When I got about 3,000 feet into the air I looked around and I saw a city in the distance. That city was New Orleans. I flew towards it. When I landed, I assumed my human form and I walked around the city when I smelled the presence of a Malachi as well as an Arel. I followed the sent and I walked around the corner straight into the Ambrose Malachi. I said simply "hello Ambrose". His face immediately went straight to anger and suspicion. I flicked my wrist and froze time. He looked around and said, "who are you and how did you do that?" I said "I have gone by many names, but you may call me Kai. As for how I did that, well it's a little trick I picked up from an old friend. Let's get a bite to eat." So, I started to teach Nick as he called himself about his powers. And how to control them. As I did so his Arel friend stood off to the side glaring at me. I looked over at her, chuckled and shook my head. She is very protective of him. I thought to myself. Then as I looked at her I could smell his generals approaching. I let him know this laughing when i sensed Malaphas's presence and I slowed down time as I turned and flipped Caleb over my shoulder and pinned him to the ground. I said "hello Caleb." As he looked up at me in shock without even looking I threw a knife that impaled itself in the wall next to Nekoda's head.
