Interesting teaching methods
A guest asked for a oneshot of Snowing finding out about Regina's teaching methods in season 3 when she makes Emma hover on the bridge.
"So, will you need someone to watch Henry again tomorrow?" Snow asked hopefully. Even though he couldn't remember his true self, Snow had loved spending some quality time with her grandson. Emma smirked.
"I'm not sure. I don't think I packed a helmet for him when we left New York." Emma said sarcastically. "What would the plans be? Bungee jumping from the clock tower? Swinging from the trees in the woods?" Emma offered. Snow rolled her eyes.
"Every teenager should get the chance to learn to drive! You can't deny it's safer here than it would have been in New York." Charming pointed out.
"I think that mailbox he hit might disagree with you." Emma joked.
"Hilarious." Charming huffed. "In all the panic over a silly mailbox, you never got around to telling us how your lesson with Regina went." Emma bit her lip. She'd actually been quite glad Henry's impromptu driving lesson had created a nice little distraction from her having to talk about this.
"It was…certainly productive." Emma settled on. No lie there. Not a good enough answer though. Snow's eyes narrowed suspiciously.
"What were you doing?" Snow probed deeper. She didn't like how uncomfortable Emma looked at talking about the lesson.
"Oh…well, we hung out by the old bridge over the river." Emma answered, trying to give as few details as possible.
"You had your lesson out there? That rickety old thing isn't safe. I don't think it could take Pongo's weight let alone an adult's. What were you doing out there?" Charming asked. Emma's face was getting redder and redder.
"Well, I think that was kind of Regina's point. She left me on the bridge until…the inevitable happened, and that forced magic out of me." Emma answered. Snow and Charming remained silent for a moment, really hoping they were wrong with their assumptions.
"The inevitable?" Snow asked dangerously. Emma gulped.
"The bridge fell apart and I began to fall, I saved myself though! That's the part to focus on here!" Emma added quickly. Snow and Charming shared a silent conversation.
"No Emma. No it is not." Charming said quietly.
"She has a cheek to get mad at us over a stupid letterbox when she has our daughter on some death trap of a bridge on the off chance it will get some magic out of her! When I see that woman I will wring her neck." Snow snarled.
"I need the magic to protect the baby. Regina was just doing what she had to do in order to get it." Emma reasoned. She understood Regina's method.
"You wouldn't have been able to protect anyone if you fell to your death." Charming pointed out.
"Regina wouldn't have let me die." Emma reminded them.
"Accidents can happen, and I'll be damned if she thinks she can put our child in danger." Snow growled, punching digits into her phone.
"Mom, who are you calling?" Emma asked reluctantly. Snow didn't answer. She waited until Regina picked up the phone.
"YOU DROPPED MY DAUGHTER FROM A BRIDGE?!"
