"Woah" Luz moaned. "I need to do something about that time traveling spell, or it will kill me one day." She said while trying to stand up. But she wasn't able to do so, her body was just sucked out of energy, she turned to Axl who was still lying down on the ground without any sign of life. "Hey, Axl, are you ok?" She asked. her worries just grew with no response from him. "Axl?" She asked again with a bit higher tone in her voice. With no response again, she started to crawl closer to him. "Axl!" she said with a concerned look on her face. He wasn't replying even when she shook him a bit. "This is bad..." she said to herself while thinking if he was still alive. That thought of Axl dying while she was performing a spell frightened her. She was quick to check his pulse and breathing, both seemed ok, she calmed a bit, that he wasn't hopefully dead. "Phew, thank god for that, now, what with you. I can't leave you just laid down in the middle of a street...'' Then she saw a couple of large wooden crates just thrown in a side street. "Nice, this is handy." she mumbled to herself before trying to pick up Axl, who hasn't shown any signs of resistance. How even could he, he was in some kind of a coma. "And one, two, threeee... ouch'' she wasn't in a condition to carry someone anywhere. "Ok, that's not gonna work" she mumbled to herself while trying to find a way to carry her friend into safety. She didn't want to drag him on gravel, in which the streets were covered, because she would probably hurt him even more, but as much as she didn't want to do it, there just wasn't any other way. "Ugh, fine" she groaned while preparing to drag her friend to safety. "You are doing this for his own good.'' She tried to motivate herself, but it wasn't effective. She grabbed him under his arms, lifting her friend's head and torso into the air. She exerted all her strength and began to move back slowly. While she was trying to get her friend off the street, she noticed Luis just about to get into another problem. She had three choices, leave Axl for a bit alone on the street and run to help Luis, or she could just ignore it for now, or she could shout at Luis, attracting unwanted attention and questions, she couldn't answer truthfully. She chose to help Axl and hoped that she would be fast enough to help Luis too. She wasn't. Just as her attention went back to Axl, she heard a very familiar voice shout "No! Please. No!" Luis shouted while some guard shoved Luis into some kind of a prison on wheels. She hadn't the time to look at it closely, because she was just so deep in her thoughts on how to save both. She got an idea, but she needed to talk with Luis first, then it hit her. Axl still had his walkie-talkie on him, she snatched it, and put it right next to hers. After some time she finally dragged her friend into safety behind a couple of crates. She got an idea, she will cover the top with some lids, so Axl is even less visible. She quickly moved near some other crates. She took one of the lids of the crates, expecting resistance, but it just slid off. "Huh, that was easier, then I thought, someone probably forgot to nail it down." she said to herself with a bit of surprise. She wasn't complaining though, it saved her trouble. Or at least, she thought so before she heard a voice yelling "Hey, you, what do you think you are doing!" she quickly turned to see an angry-looking guard staring at her. "Me, uh oh, I just..." she started to scramble a reply. "I know exactly what you are doing, and I won't let it slip past!" the guard yelled at her. "He did?" she mumbled for herself. "You are trying to steal whatever is in that crates!" the guard, still yelling, come closer to her "phew." Luz relaxed a bit before realizing that even though Axl was safe, she wasn't. She couldn't run away deeper into the narrow street, because she would risk the guard finding Axl. There must have been another way, to then just sprint around the guard and hoping for the best, but as she looked around, she hadn't seen any other way out and the guard was dangerously close. "Fight or Flight." she thought to herself. There was no way she would win a fight against a fully armed guard and even if she did, more would come after her, so there was just one possibility left "Flight." she mumbled loudly and started to draw something. "What?" the guard asked with a raised eyebrow, confused a bit by what Luz mumbled. "You heard me right." Luz looked at him with a dirty smile and slammed a piece of paper with something drawn at it against the ground. out of nowhere, a long icicle started to form, rising high into the sky, Luz with it. "Woohoo!" she exclaimed proudly. Before the icicle could get any higher than the first floor, the guard reacted, kicking the icicle and breaking it, Luz hadn't expected that. "Wait, what!" she said in a surprise. when she fell down, her head hurt just so badly, she wasn't able to do much. The guard approached her, grabbing her tightly. "It looks like the bird forgot his wings." the guard quipped.

"Whoop" Axl heard in his head before looking and sitting up, he was in Ancient Egypt, but something felt wrong "Hey Luz, do you have the feeling, like something's off too...?" He asked and looked behind him, expecting Luz, but she wasn't there. Everything he saw was just a pile of crates all around him "L-Luz?" He said and stood up from the pile of crates while looking all around him. "Luz! Are you there?" he said loudly, but not shouting, because he didn't want to get much attention. A troubled look formed on his face. "Ok, ok … think Axl where could she be … we were holding hands, while she cast the spell, so it couldn't send her far away…" then he remembered. Luz gave him a walkie-talkie. He stretched to his side, where he had attached it, but he could stretch as much as he could, but he just wasn't able to find it. "Where the heck is it?" He asked himself before noticing something even worse, he saw both Luz and Luis together in some kind of an old-fashioned van, not just in any ordinary old-fashioned van, this one was latticed from the top to the bottom, with what looked like to be solid metal bars. "Oh crap, this is not good, this is not good…!" Axl moaned in fright while looking for a better viewing spot. As if things weren't bad enough, the van was also guarded by 4 fully armed guards. "What will I do?" Axl groaned.

Luz sat there, in a corner, thinking out a way to get out. Luis staring at her from the other corner wasn't helping out. She couldn't tell her the truth, because she would alter the time and create some kind of a weird time paradox. "Ok, so Luis..." Luz was about to ask something, but Luis interrupted "I am not Luis. I am Luz. You are Luis. Did the fall from the icicle really hurt that much?" Luz groaned in frustration, how could she forgot. Luis heard that groan and thought that her head must seriously hurt badly, so she decided to play along with her. "Forget it, I can be Luis and you Luz, ok..?" Luz gave Luis a warm smile and thought "Thank goodness I care for others." Luis reciprocated that smile back "But there are few questions I want to ask" Luis said. "Oh no, does she know, like, they were sitting on 3 meters squared, looking onto each other for the past 10 minutes, she has switched their names and now she wants to ask some questions. She probably knows well, who I am." Luz finished her thoughts and said: "Ask me, but I don't know if I can replay on them..." Luz finished while rubbing her neck. "Ok, so, don't think that I'm stupid" Luz started to sweat. "I recognize you even with that change of clothes, you were at the Great Rome Empire and saved me, so thank you for that." Luz sweated even more "Next, there is that spell..." Luis pointed in the direction, where Luz tried to escape the guard. "Oh come on, every witch can do it." Luz tried to defend herself and calm down a bit, but it made the situation just worse. "Exactly every witch can do it, but you are not a witch, you don't have the 'magic necklace' and your ears are humanoid, witches don't have those." Luz started to sweat again. "And there is just one person, who can cast the spell except for witches" Luis pointed to the notepad that Luz had in her pocket and then to herself. Luz bit her lips while trying to come up with an excuse, but she had her cornered. "I know who you are," Luis started slowly. "because I know who am I." Luis stared deeply into Luz's eyes. Luz cleared her throat, but before she could say anything Luis grabbed her and hugged her tightly. "Thank you, or should I say, myself, for saving me." Luz hugged back and before long luz saw how Axl was watching them.

When he spotted that he had been spotted, he tried to get closer to the prison on wheels, or whatever it was, but Luz stopped him with a gesture. Axl noticed and stopped behind a cart, then she grabbed one of the walkie-talkies and tried to toss it to Axl, but Luis stopped her. "No, wait" she whispered to Luz. Luis started to draw something out on paper. Not long after Luis handed a light spell to Luz. She was a bit confused. "What am I supposed to do with..." "ssh." Luis silenced her and then she got it. "uhh, a distraction, wow, I'm impressed." Luz said impressed with herself. "Exactly but not for what do you think." Luz gave Luis a confused look. "What are you planning with an icicle spell?" Luz asked quietly. "You saved me last time, now it's my turn, just get ready to run." Luz nodded, still more and more impressed. Then she activated the light spell and tossed it to the side. Small amber light appeared in front of confused guards. "Now!" Luis whispered loudly, activated the icicle spell, and slammed it against the wall. As the icicle grew bigger, the metal bars weren't able to handle such pressure and flew out of their spots, leaving the two girls a way out. They ran as fast as they could, it took the guards a while to realize what just happened. By the time they did, Luz, Luis, and Axl were all running away and Luz started to draw a time-traveling spell again. "Come on..." she mumbled to herself. "Here! Hold on tight we are going home" she said and activated the spell with her feet because she was holding both of them by now.

"phew," Luz said while breathing heavily. She looked around her, they weren't home. "Uh oh, guys? We've got a problem." They both slowly got up and looked around them. "Where are we?" Axl asked worriedly. "I don't know, and that's saying something." Luz answered confused. "I think I do..." Luis said with a confused and worried expression.
