The sun was starting to set creating a beautiful orange and blue color pellet in the sky. Down on the ground between the trees it was starting to get really dark. Ryan was resting in Eve's backpack and Kirlia was walking besides Eve. It had been 5 hours since Mew left. Eve was more determined than ever now that she found out that Rose is here. It was the first lead she had since she first woke up in this world. She had wanted to ask Mew more about the subject but she never got the chance to. Though Eve was tired she had no intention to go to sleep just yet. She thought back at the strange dream she had back in that cave. The one with the lake and that strange disembodied voice. (Was that all just a dream... Or was it more than that?)

Eve sighed. "He Ryan, Kirla?" Ryan opened an eye and Kirlia looked at Eve. "What do you guys think we should do next? Go to Celadon city, or go to Cerulean city?" Ryan immediately woke up and screamed "Celadon City! I vote for Celadon city." Eve knew that all he was thinking about is that ice cream. Kirlia thought a bit longer about her answer. "Uhm... If you don't mind. I would like to go to Cerulean City." She whispered softly. "But... you know... if you don't want to..." Eve closed her eyes and thought about her answer. "I think we should go to Cerulean city." Ryan protest. "But what about the Ice cream?" Eve practically facepalmed at Ryan's comment. (Of course he only thinks about the Celadon's ice cream.) "We can go to Celadon City after we visit Cerulean City."

Eve looked around for a place to sleep for the night. Because they were heading in the opposite direction of the mountains there were no caves to shelter in. Eve looked down at the cold, moist and muddy ground. (No way that I'm going to sleep on the ground here in the open... there must be another option.) Eve thought back to the Pokémon center. The soft, warm and comfortable beds they could sleep on... Eve suddenly stopped walking. Her eyes were full of determination. "Ryan... Kirlia... I'm going to learn how to transform into a human!" Eve looked very proud of herself as she said those words. Ryan and Kirlia didn't really get it. "Why do you want to transform into a human of all things? Aren't pikachu's way better?" Eve thought carefully about the question. (I want to tell them that I used to be human... But... Something is telling me that it's not a good idea.) Eve sheepishly rubbed the back of her head. "You know... it's to be able to walk around without having to worry about some trainer trying to catch you... and... so that I can walk into a Pokémon center without having to wear a weird disguise... like last time." Ryan thought about it for a second. "You might be on to something kid." Eve grinned. "Great! Let's get started!" Kirlia nervously tapped Eve's leg. "I... uh... it's getting late and... maybe we should get some sleep first?" Eve looked at Kirlia who was obviously tired and just wanted to get some sleep. Eve couldn't say no to those eyes. "Oké... let's start training in the morning."

They had found a more decent place to sleep for the night somewhere in a small of open grass field. Eve gathered as much leaf's as she could in an effort to make something that functions like a bed. Ryan and Kirlia had no problem sleeping in the grass like this. Eve just felt like something could crawl on her at any given moment. (I preferred the cold stone floor from the caves even more than this.) As Eve looked up the sky she noticed how beautiful the night skies are in this world. There were so many stars. The sky was so breathtaking it almost didn't look real. (How come I have never noticed that the sky is this beautiful.) After Eve was done admiring the sky she closed her eyes and focused on the sounds around her. The wind passing through the trees. The Pokémon that were sleeping. Ryan who is snoring... (That pikachu sure is loud.)

Eve finally had a nice dream for ones. She was flying above a beautiful lake. The sky was blue and she could see large mountains in the distance. The sun was so bright and warm. Eve felt totally at peace.

As she was flying Eve noticed a figure standing on the other side of the lake. As she flew closer the figure became more visible. It was a young girl with kind blue eyes and pink hair that was curled at the edges. The girl was holding a pink DS in her hand. Eve stared at the girl for a while. "Rose...?"

snap* Eve's eyes shot wide open. Abruptly waking her from the dream. (What was that?) The sun was already visible on the horizon. The whole forest was starting to wake up. Eve blinked a view times trying to keep her eyes open. She vividly remembered the dream she was having. After yawning and stretching like a cat Eve got up from her leaf bed.

She turned to Ryan and Kirlia who were still sleeping. Eve took a deep breath. "TIME TO WAKE UP!!!" Kirlia screamed as she jumped in the air. Ryan on the other hand didn't hear her at all and continued sleeping like nothing happened. Eve looked at Ryan in irritation but then began to smile evilly. She flew over to a small water source nearby and used psychic to lift a small amount of it out the pool. Ryan was having a nice dream. *splash* something cold and wet was dropped on him. "@&%#!!!" Ryan screamed something unrecognizable as he jumped on his feet. His fur was soaking wet and cold. Eve was sitting a few meters from Ryan acting like she was just as surprised as him. Having a cat like smug on her face looked at the water soaked pikachu. Ryan was not amused. "KID!!!! What did you do that for!" Eve laughed like a rich lady. "Oh, whatever are you talking about? " Kirla bursted into laughter. Ryan narrowed his eyes. "Ow... I'm going to remember this kid." He quickly whispered very softly. "I can see you have your MOTHERS sense of humor. No offense lady Mew." Ryan was grateful that Eve didn't hear that last comment.

Ryan started practicing his aim with thunderbolt while Kirla was meditating. While they were busy with their own things Eve was trying to turn into a human with transformation. Though turning into a human was a lot more different than she anticipated. (Picture yourself becoming human...) Eve focused really hard. Picturing herself turning into a human. Her arms and legs. Her long brown hair. Her blue sharp eyes. The outfit she was wearing... Every time it felt like she was almost there. Only for it to slip away. Eve thought about every little detail of her former human self. (Human, human, human...) she started chanting in her head. As if that was going to work.

After many times of almost getting it right Eve finely shifted. Ryan and Kirlia noticed the light coming from Eve's body as they looked towards her. They gasped when they saw what Eve now looked like. "Did it work?" Eve looked at herself and saw the human body that she was familiar with. She was wearing a blue vest with black leggings and a grayish skirt. She had her typical sneakers and a familiar blue ribbon tight in her hair. The only difference was that her hair was still lavender but Eve didn't mind. Tears started flowing from her eyes as she looked at herself in full human glory. When Eve noticed that Ryan and Kirlia were looking at her she quickly wiped away the tears. Eve walked proudly towards Ryan an Kirlia and made a pirouette. "So... What do you think? Do I look human or do I look human." Ryan started clapping. "I have to say kid. I did not expect you to actually shift into a human." Kirlia looked at Eve with admiration. Her eyes were sparkling. "That's so cool Eve!" Eve took a moment to bask in the glory and admiration. A large smile was visible on her face.

"Now we can walk among humans... well for more or less 10 minutes. Longer than that will be difficult." Eve turned back into her true form. And marched forward in a happy mood. "Cerulean City here we come." Ryan jumped on Eve's shoulder. "Wow kid, you sure are in a good mood today. What happened to that cranky kid who got mad over the smallest things?" Eve gave Ryan a nasty glare. "Never mind. There she is." Ryan grinned when Eve turned red and protested. Kirlia hopped in Eve's backpack and grinned as well. "Don't worry Eve. Ryan is just teasing you." Eve stopped pandering and looked at Kirlia. She smiled when she realized that Kirlia was no longer stuttering as much around them as before. Eve closed her eyes and nodded. (Kirlia is finally comfortable being around us.) "Hé Kirlia, would you like to have a given name?" It took a while for the question to sink in. Kirlia turned bright red and covered her face. "W...Wh...What!!... I... I... You... just..." She looked through her tiny paws with teary eyes. "D... Do you mean it. I mean a given name is... you know... Do you really think I deserve one?" Ryan was just as surprised as Kirlia when Eve asked the question. Eve smiled and nodded. "Yes, I think you deserve one." Kirlia looked at Eve with a red face. "I... I..." Kirlia smiled and spoke softly. "I would love to." Eve stared at Kirlia in deep thought. (Kirlia... Kirli... Kira... Mira... Nina...) "What do you think about Nina?" Kirlia's eyes lit up with joy when she heard the name. "It's beautiful... I love it."

[abandoned building ]

The sky looked dark as rain started falling down. In the middle of the forest not too far from Veridian. there was an old abandoned building. The strong winds rattled against the cracked windows. 2 man and 2 woman were waiting patiently inside. They all wore the same standard black and red Team Rocket outfits. Despite this they were elite members from team Rocket. Handpicked for the assignment by Giovanni himself.

They were waiting for the man in charge of the mission to arrive. Finally the man they had been waiting for walked through the doors. A dark hooded figure walked towards them. Mary a Woman around the age of 18 and the youngest member of the team walked up to her superior. Mary had long blond hair and brown eyes. She was a technology and hacker specialist. One of the best in her area of expertise. Mary looked quite petite for someone her age. You would think she was just a naive little girl. "Sir" Mary greeted the man with respect. The figure nodded slightly showing that he acknowledged Mary's presence.

He took of his hat. Revealing a man around the age of 40 with raven black hair and black eyes. He was known by his teammates as Mister Blight. Nobody knew his real name or his background. With the exception of Giovanni and Mister Blight himself. He turned to face his subordinates. Out of his pocket he took a picture and showed it around. On the picture a lavender colored mewtwo walking out of a Pokémon center was visible. "Our objective is to locate a specific Pokémon for Giovanni. This Pokémon..."

A woman called Victoria took the lead and replied. "What is known about this Pokémon." Victoria was a dark type specialist. She was a lot older and bigger then Mary. You could see in her conference that she was no stranger to these kind of mission's. Victoria had short dark blue hair and cold yellow eyes.

The 2 other man were Richard and Damian. Richard was around the age of 25. He had short brown hair and dull looking gray eyes. One thing that stood out about him was a small scar on the right side of his face. Richard was a tracking specialist. He ones worked undercover as a Pokémon ranger. Damian was a lot older then Richard. He was another tracking specialist. Damian had black hair and brown eyes. He looked like he had some serious lag of sleep because you could see the dark circles under his eyes.

Blight looked disapproved of Victoria for interrupting him. Victoria backed away realizing that she stepped out of line. "That was uncalled for MISS Victoria. I expect better judgement from you. Please refrain yourself from interrupting me again!" Blight took a look at the photo and continued his briefing. "This Pokémon had been dubbed Mewthree. Our job for now is to locate it and report its location to headquarters. Understood!" The group all replied at the same time. "YES SIR!" Blight grinned evilly. "Now... it's time to find ourselves a Pokémon."

We can finally cross off learning transform from the list. Eve can now turn into both a pikachu and a human. If only for more or less 10 minutes.

Kirlia now has a nickname as well. I chose the name Nina because it means little girl.

I thought it would be ironic to call her that.

Ryan is finally getting along with Kirlia (Nina).

Or at least more than before.

I have introduced a team of secondary antagonists. This team will be responsible for a lot of trouble. All off the characters on this team are OC's of mine. They do not exist in the Pokémon universe.

I am planning on giving Jessie, James and Meowth a small role in this story but they are more there for comedy relief.
