Enter: Naruto and Naruko Uzumaki

Twelve years ago a nine-tailed fox appeared. Its tails lashed out, smashing mountains and sending tidal waves crashing to the shores.

The ninjas rose up to defend their village.

But only one shinobi faced the nine-tailed fox in deathly combat. He sacrificed his life to capture the beast and to seal it into two human bodies. This ninja was known as the Fourth Hokage.

After years of knowing the orange-clad boy, Naruko should be used to him being dragged into class by the brown-haired man yet every time it somehow surprises her.

"I'm at the end of my rope Naruto. Tomorrow you have a chance to graduate, but you're messing up. Do you not want to graduate alongside Naruko?"

She watched her twin brother look away in one final act of defiance. She knew that he was aware that he was only making everyone's lives harder than they had to be but he never could help himself. When her Sensei watched his act of defiance his own eyes lit up with anger.

"Since Naruto wasn't here everyone will review the transformation jutsu again."

She groaned along with the class. Sure she had enough chakra to do so but it was that fact that she didn't need to that annoyed her.

She watched as everyone did their transformation jutsu when finally her brother was up. She knew that look in his eye meant that he was up to no good. Once her brother did the hand signs required for the jutsu he became a blonde, naked woman causing her sensei to pale in color as blood streamed from his nose. She was a small girl dressed in sky blue, but as she walked up to her brother she didn't seem so small at least not with the way she carried herself. "Naruto what have I told you about using that transformation?" she asked as she punched her twin in the gut.

He groaned in pain but managed to laugh while saying "It's my sexy jutsu which defeats all perverts. Believe it!"

The girl sighed as she gave up and told her her "Okay fine but only use it when I'm not around. Got it?"

"Deal!" was all she heard as her brother hugged her from excitement. He was eventually pulled away by their sensei. She watched as her Sensei dragged her brother towards the Hokage Monument that lay in wait for him.

Naruko sighed as she walked home alone hearing the whispers that depicted her as a demon. She was used to hearing the whispers. She was an orphan born right after her brother on a day that everyone remembered. It wasn't a happy day it was a day filled with death and maybe that's why they hated her. Maybe she reminded them of someone they lost. Naruko finally arrived at her apartment. She hated when Naruto had to be punished because it always meant that she would go home and be alone.

She cleaned to distract herself from being alone and once she finished she went to go find her brother. At least she would always have him.

When she arrived she heard Naruto complaining and Iruka promising to let him go home once he finished cleaning.

"So what? It's not like me and Naruko have anyone waiting at home for us!"

"Naruto I was thinking maybe after you clean this all up, I could take you out for some ramen. The good stuff. What do you think?"

The blonde girl smiled as she finally made herself known.

"Can I come too Sensei?"

"Ruko, what are you doing here?"

"Naru you know I don't like being home alone. Got it?"

Iruka sensei smiled at the blonde girl. His eyes filled with pity for the two orphans.

"Of course you can come Naruko."

Once Naruto finished cleaning the three of them headed to Ichiraku's. When they arrived they sat down at the bar and they all ordered their ramen. Iruka sighed as he turned to Naruto. "Naruto why did you deface the Hokage Monument?"

"Because I am going to be greater than any of them. Naruto. The next Hokage! Then everyone will have to stop disrespecting me and Ruko and look up to me. Believe it!"

Naruko smiled knowing that even if the world hated her she would always have her big brother Naruto.

She quietly watched as the two laughed. Her brother was bright like the sun even if everyone hated Naruto one day they'd love him and she'd be right behind him like the sky is for the sun.
