A/N: This is a rewrite of the reading version of the Guardian Chronicles: Nirvana due to the future content of the books that I feel needed to be changed. The reading version will answer questions brought up in the previous books alongside showing the reactions of the characters. This can be treated as crack.

"Hey Naruto, it seems like someone left you a letter!"

Uzumaki Naruto looked away from the table and stared blankly as her smiling boss, who handed her a white envelope. That smile tells me that she thinks it is another one of those ridiculous love letters. A sigh escaped her lips as Naruto tucked the final chair on the table before taking the envelope from her hands.

"Do you know who left the letter? Or who is it even from?" Naruto asked, flipping the envelope to the back. She furrowed her eyebrows together and tilted her head at the unfamiliar handwriting alongside the strange pattern around the seal of the envelope. If I didn't know any better, I would say that it looks like a seal. She frowned and brought the envelope even closer to her.

It was odd for her to be given something and it was even odder for her to get an envelope with a seal. There were no shinobis in this part of the world and Jiraiya knew better than to contact her. She was no longer a kunoichi after all. After what she failed to do for Sasuke and with her other teammate blaming her…well she wasn't important anymore.

She wasn't wanted anymore.

"Don't know," her boss replied with a tiny smile playing on her lips and the woman leaned forward to stare at the envelope. "But it might be a love letter from one of the customers. I mean you are very popular with the boys, Uzumaki."

Naruto stared at her for the longest time before shaking her head at the older woman. "Most of the boys that come in here are from my Middle School and they only come here because they can't wrap their head around the idea that I also work and get good grades. That does not mean they have crushes on me."

"Then what is Amajiki excuse? He has been coming in here since he caught sight of you! He didn't come here as often until he saw you working your charm with one of the customers!" Her boss retorted.

The 15-year-old girl blinked and blinked before furrowing her eyebrows together. Amajiki? That name sounded familiar but there were no faces that came to her mind. Then again, she didn't make it a habit of remembering all of her customers names. Maybe the regulars but that was only because they gave her the most tips.

"I have no idea who Amajiki is," Naruto declared, shaking her head. Her boss frowned and shook her head, opening her mouth and then closing her mouth when the whiskered teen held her hand up. A scowl played on her lips and Naruto continued on "Before you jump to conclusion on who sent me the note, why don't I read you the letter to prove to you that this isn't one of those ridiculous love letters!"

Her boss hummed. "If I'm right and this is a love note then what do you plan to do to apologize?"

"Work overtime without pay?" Naruto suggested with a smile plastered on her lips. The table jumped up slightly and a huge bang echoed in the room as her boss smacked the table. You would think my boss will be happy that I'm willing to work even more without any pay. The scowl playing on her boss lips told a whole different story.

The woman sighed. "Y'know if you were one of my employees that slack off and find any excuse not to work then I would be happy with that offer, but instead…you take a couple of days off and study for your entrance exam."

"And if I'm right then will you stop insisting that I take a break for at least a whole week?" Naruto asked, looking down at the envelope before glancing back at her boss. The woman stared at her for the longest time and the whiskered teen found her heart pounding against her chest as her boss took her time to answer her.

Finally the older woman bobbed her head. "Deal and I will give you an excuse on why you can't do Amajiki's table."

"Oh, he is that guy," Naruto muttered. Her boss frowned and stared at her with concerned eyes but the whiskered teen plastered on a smile and looked down at the envelope. It is a good thing that she is going to help me ignore that table. She exhaled and inhaled as her heart twisted and screamed in pain like it always did whenever she remembered the former members of her team.

Shaking her head, the blue-eyed teen tore opened the envelope. A blinding light encompassed her and a muffled scream pierced through the air and it was not long before the café revealed that there was no Naruto on sight.

I should have been more cautious about opening the seal. Naruto groaned and rubbed her ass as her eyes took in the scenery of the room in front of her. The walls were covered with letters and shapes that seemed to be way too similar to the seal that she had opened, and from the tiny spaces not covered by the letters, she could figure out that it was painted blue.

There were several couches alongside a television screen and a couple of books. What the hell is happening here? She shut her eyes as more and more lights filled the room. Screams erupted alongside several crashes and familiar groans that brought agony to her heart. When silence began to fill the room again, that was when Naruto decided to open her eyes again.

"I didn't calculate that most of you will open the envelope at the same time," a feminine voice declared. Naruto blinked and twisted her head around as a woman decked in a white cloak stepped through the room. All of us? A frown played on her lips. "Well I guess that make things easier for me then when it comes to explaining things."

What the hell is going on here? Naruto bit her tongue and stared at the woman, who now took a seat on one of the empty armchairs before scanning the room. The whiskered teen froze and her heart raced against her chest as familiar green and black eyes met her. Sasuke stood right across her with a scowl playing on his lips while Sakura stared wildly between them.

"Are you the fucking bitch that sent my family that stupid letter? And who the hell are these people? And why the hell is Whiskers here?" A familiar voice screamed. Naruto tore her eyes away from her teammates and focused her eyes on a scowling Bakugou. Her classmate folded his arms against his chest while three people scrambled to stand up.

From the limited times that Naruto had seen her classmate going grocery shopping, she knew that the pretty woman was his mother. The man was most likely his Dad because Bakugou had a similar build to him, but it was the elder woman who caught her attention. The elder woman was probably a couple of years older than Jiraiya but her eyes looked almost exactly like her.

"Kacchan, calm down! I-I'm sure that the lady has a reasonable explanation for this," Another voice yelled. Oh, Midoriya. He was the only person in their year that could get away with calling Bakugou by that childhood nickname. Not even his so-called friends called him that, but Bakugou always seemed to just accept the nickname given to him by his victim. "But, um who are all of these people? I only recognize Uzumaki and your family."

Bakugou scowled. "The hell you are asking me, Deku! Ask Whiskers! She seems to know at least two of them!"

Midoriya squeaked and swirled his head at her while Sakura and Sasuke continued to stare at her. I guess seeing me in my work uniform can get anyone surprised. The whiskered teen forced on a fake smile before shrugging her shoulders. Why the hell should she answer their question? As far as she was concerned, Sasuke killed the bond between them while Sakura made it clear about her feelings toward her.

She exhaled and continued to scan the room. Great, Kakashi-sensei is here but why the hell is he looking at me and Bakugou with wide eyes? Her teacher took a step forward towards her and Naruto only rolled her eyes at him. He made it pretty clear to her about who mattered the most to him. They all did if you asked her.

"Naruto-chan! You are fine!" The whiskered teen blinked and flung her arms opened as a familiar blue-haired girl rushed to hug her. Confused brown eyes met from behind her and Naruto only narrowed her eyes at him. If Kiba talks about me and how surprised that I can actually wear a skirt then I'm sorry Hinata-chan but you need to look at adoption. She continued to pat her best-friend's back as her eyes continued to scan the room.

The members of Team Ten were here as well as Asuma and Kurenai, both of whom gawked at the sight of her. She only nodded slightly and then relaxed her shoulders at the sight of Gaara and his siblings. I don't know why Kankuro keep looking at me and Bakugou's Mom. It was perfectly normal for two unrelated people to look somewhat similar to each other.

"What do you mean fine? Has there been a time when I haven't been fine?" Naruto asked as her best friend continued to hug her even tighter. I think the only person I can really trust or have faith that they care about me is Hinata-chan. When Neji had been hospitalized alongside her, well she could understand why her best friend never visited her.

Hinata frowned and the whiskered teen slapped on a wider smile as her eyes fixated on another group. They are definitely not shinobi. A few of them looked weird which probably meant that most of them came from Japan. But why are they here? Not a single one of them looked familiar to her, even though there was one boy who looked oddly similar to some hero on television.

She couldn't remember for the life of her on who that hero could be.

Shaking her head, Naruto froze at the sight of a familiar warm brown eyes. No. No way. What the hell? But how was it even possible? He was dead. We attended his funeral! She glanced at Asuma and the sensei of Team Ten only gawked at the sight of the Third Hokage standing right in front of the table of books alongside Tsunade.

"Quirks are amazing things, aren't they?" The woman only looked up at the ceiling as everyone shifted their attention to her. "You can always find someone that can do the impossible, things that the Second Hokage forbid because of what the cost of such summoning can do. I thought Naruto would particularly be the one who wanted him here alongside a few other people, but I need time to summon the others."

"Others?" Sasuke asked, flickering his eyes at the Third Hokage before glancing at the others. His eyes held no emotion and his tone lacked any care or worry as he focused his attention on the woman sitting on the couch. He stomped his way to the woman but only to blink when the woman disappeared with a slight squeak.

A second later and the woman appeared behind Sasuke. "Yes well I was always curious to know how the dead would react if they knew the actions of the living or what their passed actions had done to the effect the life of a single person. My dear cousin and her husband would throttle me for this but well they might thank me too."

"Excuse me but may I ask why would they thank you?" A black-haired girl asked. She wore a white frilly blouse and a black skirt that rested just right above her knee. Judging from her rigid posture and that sophisticated air, I'm guessing she comes from one of those well-to-do families. They were the most interesting or most boring customers that Naruto ever had to deal with.

The woman hummed. "My cousin is well-known for being unpredictable and well she always found a way to either impress me or annoy the fucking crap out of me."

The black-haired girl wrinkled her nose and pulled an expression that spoke volumes of her dislike on the use of vulgar words. I don't know how she is going to handle Bakugou. Hinata could handle it but only because being her best friend meant that the girl had to get use to her use of foul words alongside other things.

"Now before we get started, all of you should introduce each other." Naruto jumped up as a loud squeak hit her eardrums. The whiskered teen blinked as green eyes met her own blue eyes. "Anyone from Japan and Naruto-chan here, can call me Akane but everyone else can just call me Cronus."

"As in the Greek Titan of time?" Naruto asked, raising a single eyebrow at the woman. The members of Team Ten, Team Eight as well as the members of her former team swirled their heads at her in confusion. She shrugged and ignored their gaze as the woman called Akane curled her lips into a smile.

The green-eyed woman nodded. "Seems fitting with the other aspect of my Kekkei Genkei, don't you think Naruto-chan?"

"I guess and don't call me that. You might know me but I have absolutely no relationship with you," Naruto grunted. The woman bobbed her head and offered her a warm smile while the members of her former village gawked at her. What? You think I can be a ball of sunshine all of the fucking time? She stuffed her hands into the pocket of her skirt as her eyes flickered to the other members in the room.

The black-haired man with the funny goggles stared at her with alarm in his eyes. The elder woman with the same blue eyes as her, also frowned and squinted her eyes at her like she was trying to figure her out. I have done absolutely nothing wrong here. She exhaled and inhaled before looking back at the woman standing behind her.

"But we will have one and you will have a relationship with everyone in this room," Akane declared as Naruto blinked and blinked before raising a single eyebrow at her. Everyone else just frowned at her. "Some of the people in this room are people that you came to see as family. There are people in this room who are your dearest friends or will be one of them, which is why I handpicked them. So now be a sweetheart and introduce yourself."

The whiskered teen frowned and opened her mouth to protest, only for Akane to give her a slight kick on the back. She stumbled slightly and then threw a glare at the woman but the green-eyed woman only smiled thinly at her. She won't rest until I introduce myself. It would be too much of a bother to argue with the woman.

Naruto sighed. "For anyone who doesn't know me, my name is Uzumaki Naruto and for anyone who isn't Hinata-chan or my childhood classmate from back home…don't call me Naruto."

She offered a tiny bow and strolled to the couch, as the two Hokages alongside the other members of Konoha and Suna gawked at her. She picked up the novel from the table as the people around the room began to introduce herself. The Guardian Chronicles: Nirvana. That was a book series that she had never read before.

Her body lifted up slightly and Naruto tore her eyes away as a bicolored boy took a seat right beside her. Ah, he looks like the asshole type. He had the whole brooding thing going for him just like a certain someone, who sat right across her with eyes locked onto the mismatch-haired boy right beside her. She forced herself to smile widely and narrowed her eyes at Sasuke, who grunted and looked away from her.

"I believe now that all of you are well-acquainted with each other, I believe I should explain what made me decide to bring all of you here to this special pocket in time that I devised," Akane declared as her eyes shifted between all of them. "Now I brought all of you here to read and see the person that Naruto will soon ended up becoming as well as see how your actions affected her."

Naruto stared at her. "Did I do something in the future that made you decide, how can I make this bitch's life hell?"

"You mean besides the fact that you punched me in the nose? Or practically ruined what my father worked so hard to achieve?" Akane asked with a raised eyebrow. The whiskered teen blinked and blinked while Bakugou snorted. "Then there was that time when you were being a very petty bitch…you threw me off topic!"

"You threw yourself off topic," Naruto retorted. "You could have ignored my question."

Akane stared at her. "And have you bug me or give me a look that practically forces me to be honest? I get that enough from you, my father and hell you managed to teach Eisuke that trick of yours. I think the only person worse then you is Akimoto-san and that is only because her Kekkei Genkei can force you to tell you the truth."

"Akimoto-san?" Sarutobi asked. Narumi bobbed her head and raised a single eyebrow at the man, who avoided meeting the woman's bright blue eyes. I guess the old man is hiding something but why did he look at her like she was his worst nightmare? Naruto furrowed her eyebrows together and glanced at Bakugou, who frowned at the exchange.

It seemed like she was not the only one confused.

"Now then who wants to read the first book?" Akane asked, snatching the book from Naruto's hand. She tossed the book upwards and downwards as her eyes shifted to everyone in the room. Her eyes lingered the most on the boy beside her. Todoroki right. That was what she remembered his introduction.

Iida pushed his glass upwards and raised his hand. "I will read: Chapter 1!"
