Another night, another game. It's Sina's last day left, and she doesn't want to die through a laser without even trying to win a game. Though she doesn't like the thought of seeing people die again – and maybe die herself.

She takes the note that will assign her to a game and a certain car to get there, and she barely notices the people coming along with her. Most of them are laughing and talking way too loud, mostly to outplay their own fears. Sina is scared too with no doubt, and she wants to get this done as soon as possible so she can return to her weird life at the Beach.

When she arrives at the car, it's already overfilled with people, but they somehow manage to make room for her. After taking a seat in the back of the car, Sina observes the people around her. The guy next to her is carrying a beer bottle and is heavily flirting with a short-haired girl next to him, and the whole vehicle smells of alcohol and sweat.

One more person enters, exhaling an annoyed sigh as they squeeze next to Sina so the door can be closed. Only then she realizes who exactly is sitting next to her, and she swallows while trying not to hyperventilate.

Chishiya shortly waves at her as Sina stares at him, the movement looking a bit awkward considering the low space inside the car. She smiles at him, and he lifts his eyebrows just the tiniest bit, like he always does. This is exactly what makes her feel so small and miniscule next to him, together with those cold and clever eyes.

The car starts to move, and Chishiya turns his head towards the window. The white hood covers his face and Sina can't see his eyes anymore, but as she's forced to be so close to him (not that she'd mind the slightest bit), she senses some other things. While the obviously drunk guy on the other side won't stop moving and brushing her with his sweaty arms, Chishiya just sits there almost motionless, his breath steady and calm. He keeps his hands inside the hoodie pockets, just his left leg is slightly moving with a rhythm that only he can hear through his earphones.

With the rough streets and the driver not even trying to drive carefully, the side of Sina's head bumps into Chishiya's shoulder more than once. He doesn't care, as well as he doesn't care about the stupid behavior of the others.

Sina wished she'd have music in her ears too to ignore those idiots around her, but at least he is there. It has been a while since they both had been in a game together, and she just hopes it won't be too hard to win this time.

An idea grows inside Sina's head, and she has missed so many opportunities already, so she commands all the courage left inside of her and rests her head on Chishiya's shoulder. At least she won't bump into him anymore like this, right?

Chishiya turns his head away from the window. Sina looks up and sees his eyes, now condescending in the truest sense of the word. Will he tell her to move aide, or will he move his shoulder to tell her to stop?

To her surprise, he does nothing. He examines Sina for a second longer, not a single spark of emotion visible to her, then turns around to face the window again.

Sina can't believe it. This is something she has only experienced in her dreams before, dreams that always proved to be nothing but stupid and impossible hopes. Of course, this means nothing. Chishiya doesn't encourage her to do this, nor does he approach Sina in any way. He just lets her do whatever it is that she's doing, and it makes her unbelievably happy.

With her face resting on the fabric of his hoodie, Sina can ignore the turmoil around her. She inhales the scents that are so much more pleasing than alcohol and sweat. There's the fragrance of his hair, which is basically just the hotel shampoo, but it feels special because he is using it. There's the hoodie, smelling worn but not wretched, and of course his own personal scent. It's not intense, but it's masculine and appealing.

A tiny strand of blonde hair is tingling the tip of Sina's nose, but she doesn't dare to move. She's too afraid that he would change his position then, making it impossible for her to stay so close to him.

Through the hood, she can hear the beat of a song, but she can't tell what song it is exactly. Could be something like rap or rock, but that's all she can tell.

She closes her eyes and just enjoys the proximity to the person she has developed such strong feelings for. This is probably the most she'll ever get, and Sina wishes it could happen more often.

While she lets her thoughts wander around some daydreams, Sina's hand automatically moves to Chishiya's. She doesn't even realize until his whole body tenses, and he glares at her from the corner of his eye. Sina quickly removes her hand again and tucks it under her legs so it won't wander there again, because she has a feeling that Chishiya will cut this off entirely if she gets too far once more.

He sighs and continues to watch the empty and dark buildings passing by. Sina doesn't move, not even when her back starts to hurt because of the weird position. But way too soon, the car arrives at the game's location and Chishiya is the first one to get out and stroll inside the building that is covered in light.

Sina watches him disappear in there while she touches her skin where it had rested on his hoodie, and she wants to continue this on the way back to the Beach. There's this small pathetic flame of hope inside of her, telling her that maybe – just maybe – she has found a way to reach through Chishiya's wall.

But after the game, Chishiya doesn't enter the car. He prefers to walk back on his feet, leaving Sina with only the drunk guy and the driver. At least they're quiet now.
