Once she loved her

BoBo asked for a oneshot of Snow being turned into a small child and only wanting Regina, but Regina doesn't want her. The rest of the family Regina to babysit for them. When they come back, they find Regina being sweet to Snow. When Snow is back to normal, Regina denies everything and Henry teases her.

"Absolutely not." Regina said firmly, she went to slam the door in their faces, but Emma's foot got in the way. She gave the foot such a cold glare Emma was surprised it didn't freeze off.

"Come on Regina, just for a couple of hours? Emma pleaded. "Mom is petrified. She doesn't recognise any of us. She saw you out the window and keeps begging us to take us to her stepmother. It will calm her down and allow us time to work out how to reverse it."

"Well maybe, Miss Swan, you should have thought about the effects this would all have before deciding to meddle with time spells before you can so much as brew tea on demand."

"It's not for Emma, Regina, it's for Snow. I know somewhere you still care about her." David reasoned.

"Maybe now. I didn't like her when she was actually a child and I won't like little Snow any more now."

"Please mom?" Henry pleaded. Regina then made her big mistake. She looked into Henry's puppy dog eyes.

"You have two hours, make them count." Regina snapped. Everyone else breathed a sigh of relief, thanking Regina profusely before rushing to the library to try and undo Emma's spell. Meanwhile, Regina poofed herself into the loft apartment with the intention of staying as far from little Snow as possible…which was made difficult when she quickly wrapped her arms around her middle.

"Oh Regina, I'm so relieved!" Snow shouted. Regina peeled Snow's arms off of her.

"You're fine dear." She said coldly.

"I don't understand. Who were all those strange people? Why are we in this strange place? Where is my father?" Snow questioned her.

"Most of those people are strange, yes. This is your home now and your father is…away right now." Regina couldn't deal with her blubbering because of the truth. It wasn't worth it. Fortunately, since Snow's father truly was away a lot this was believable enough for her. "Now settle down. Why don't I tell you a story?" Regina offered. This was something she used to do when Snow was small. It kept her quiet and often sent her to sleep. Snow smiled and nodded at this idea. Regina sat down with her stepdaughter on the couch and it was like no time had passed at all. She went into a familiar tale she had woven for Snow all those years ago. She didn't even notice when the two hours she'd given were up. It was around the four hour mark that they returned, Emma clutching a reversal spell in her hand. By the time they returned, Snow was lulling to sleep, Regina still telling her familiar tales, subconsciously pleating her hair, like she had done with her as a child. The family caught a small piece of the story Regina was telling, as well as the cosiness between the two, before interrupting. Regina quickly jumped away like Snow had burned her. Emma, Charming and Henry bit their lips to stifle their laughter.

"Get on with it." Regina warned them. Emma cleared her throat and performed the spell. Instantly, Snow was back to normal. She blinked a few times, dazed.

"Wh-what happened?" She asked. Charming came over and helped her to her feet. "I'll explain in the morning." He promised her. "I think you need rest.

"Now I see why mom sometimes tries to pleat my hair when I sit with her." Emma commented nonchalantly. Regina's cheeks went pink.

"I don't know what you mean." She grumbled. She refused to admit she liked little Snow! Henry couldn't help but laugh now.

"You used to tell me those stories when I was a kid. Who knew you had practice?" He teased her. Regina rolled her eyes.

"Well, now that you've cleared up your mess, might I be excused from babysitting services? Some of us have a town to run."

"Of course, thank you, Regina." Emma commented, still grinning. Regina poofed herself back into her office moodily. It did her evil cred damage if that family thought she could be nice to Snow!
