"I will read the next chapter," Yaoyorozu said.

Now:

Naruto exhaled and rubbed the back of her neck as Yaoyorozu took the book from Hinata's hand. The reading was starting to become a pain in her neck if you asked her. All her private thoughts were being read and people were starting to accuse her of having issues that she didn't have.

I wish that I never opened that envelope. She closed her eyes and cracked her knuckles before looking at the others. Hinata had her head tilted to the side and kept flickering her eyes from her to Todoroki. What the hell was going through her best friend's mind? And why did she keep looking at them? Her best friend had always been preceptive, so she didn't understand her behavior.

Aizawa knocked the door to Uzumaki landlord's apartment and tapped his feet. It hadn't taken long for him to find information about the person who rented Naruto, her apartment. Luckily after some digging through her files, he had been able to pinpoint the owner of her address. The owner must have done some information on Uzumaki before renting out the apartment.

"Good luck trying to find out anything about me," Naruto said, stretching her back. "There is not a lot of things that he know about my life."

Aizawa regarded her. "The information that he could tell me is still information that I can still use to piece aspects of your life, like your personality. Don't think just because you gave him false information that I cannot connect the dots with you."

The door opened, revealing a middle-aged man wearing a pair of glasses. The man knitted his eyebrows, black eyes scanning up and down at the sight of his ruffled appearance. "Hello, how can I help you?"

"Hello, my name is Eraserhead." Aizawa pulled out his license and handed it to the man. Black eyes grew large at the sight of him before darting around the area, eyebrows scrunched up together. "And I want to ask you some questions about your tenant: Uzumaki Naruto."

Sakura frowned and tilted her head at Aizawa. "I thought your name is Aizawa."

"It is Aizawa's hero name," Naruto answered. Sakura blinked and raised an eyebrow while everyone else from Konoha looked at her with furrowed eyebrows. The whiskered teen sighed and looked at the screen. "You can think of their hero names like the code names used in ANBU, but I have to ask…of all the names that you could have pick, why Eraserhead?"

"Hizashi chose it for me because I don't care about these things," he explained.

Izuku blinked and then slammed his hands against his palm. "You are the Underground Hero who can cancel Quirks! You are really well-known for your—"

"Oi Ponytail continue reading before Deku goes on another rant!"

The middle-aged man frowned. "Uzumaki? What about her?"

"I am her homeroom teacher but there are a couple of things that concerns me about your tenant." The man shifted, black eyes avoiding the ever-searching gaze of Aizawa's eyes. He leaned back, hands closing the door but only to find Aizawa blocking the door with his feet. The Hero raised his eyebrow, waiting for him to say something.

"Look I don't know much about Uzumaki." The man tried to slam the door but struggled against Aizawa. The Hero just locked his eyes at him, daring the man to lie to his face about not knowing much about his tenant. There were certain pieces of information that a landlord should know about their tenants.

"If he didn't know anything then he wouldn't be so eager to close the door," Aizawa commented, flickering his eyes at her. The whiskered teen shrugged her shoulders while Narumi and Mitsuki stared at her. There is nothing that my landlord knows that can make him figure out where I came from or my personality. She slid her hands into her pocket.

"Anything that he does know is not going to be much help," Naruto informed him. "The only interaction we have is when I give him money for the rent."

Narumi eyed her. "While Konoha has some very questionable ideas of how children should be raised, may I ask how you were able to get an apartment without a guardian? You aren't even in the age in the law where the government would allow a 15-year-old to live by herself."

"Jiraiya should be the one acting as her guardian," Tsunade commented with a grimace. "Which makes me have to ask: where is Jiraiya?"

Naruto shrugged her shoulders. "How the hell am I supposed to know? Maybe he is writing his new book."

Kaminari and Mineta exchanged glances before fixating their eyes on her. Dear God, I know what is going through their minds. There weren't many people with the name Jiraiya and to have an author named Jiraiya could only mean one thing in the mind of perverts. She exhaled and inhaled.

"Is your guardian the very same Jiraiya-sama that wrote the Icha-Icha series?" Mineta demanded as Masaru looked at her with wide eyes. Aizawa blanched and twisted his head to regard her and the whiskered teen groaned before bobbing her head at them. There was no point for her to deny the fact that her mentor was that author. Purple eyes gleamed with interest. "Then do you know when the next—"

"No and I don't know any spoilers on the book," Naruto retorted.

Like where they lived before.

"I want to know where does Uzumaki come from," Aizawa asked; he kept his tone calm and even as the man tried to slam the door in his face. The most important question for him to fill in the blanks would start from where did his student come from. If he could start looking from her birth place then he could get more information on his mistrustful student.

"He doesn't know jack shit about where I come from," Naruto informed him. "He didn't ask a lot of questions when he found out that Ero-Sennin was my guardian."

Aizawa pinched his nose. "Why must people forgo reasons when it comes to your guardian's horrible work."

"You read it?" Naruto asked, blinking at the black-haired man. "I don't picture you as the closest pervert type. You seem like you have some kind of morals when it came to those disgusting books."

The Underground Hero eyed her. "I don't read it but I have confiscated books from male students. Present Mic also enjoys reading those books and till now I don't see what is the appeal of those books."

The landlord shook his head. "I can't answer your question. When Uzumaki came to live in my apartment, there were certain details in our agreement that makes me incapable of answering your questions."

"You are withholding information from a Hero," Aizawa said dryly.

The man pressed his lips into a thin line. "Look this piece of information is something I can't provide, not just because it voids the contract I made with her but also with the agreement I made with her Guardian."

Naruto blinked. "What agreement?"

"Judging from that reaction, I guess that your guardian made this agreement without your knowledge," Aizawa said dryly. Naruto bobbed her head and frowned while everyone else exchanged glances. "Do you have some idea of what type of agreement that your mentor made to your landlord?"

She knitted her eyebrows together. "I have no clue."

Guardian? Aizawa tilted his head and stared at the shifty man in front of him. This was the first time he ever heard the mention of Uzumaki having a guardian. From what he read in her files, Uzumaki was alone and didn't have anyone to support her. There had been no mention of a guardian or parents in her form.

There had been no one for her emergency contact.

"That's because I don't need anyone to take care of me," Naruto stated. "I have been living alone since I was six, Aizawa-san and not once did anyone ever felt the need for me to have a Guardian."

Narumi thinned her lips and glared at the Third Hokage. "You and me are going to have a talk, Hokage because you might be dead but your actions are less than desirable."

The blue-eyed teen raised a single eyebrow when Bakugou snorted. "What the hell is so funny Bakugou?"

"Your leader is going to be pummeled by my Grams," Bakugou answered. "Anyone who has been the other side of that fist always ends up with some broken bones."

The Third Hokage paled while Tsunade curled her lips into a slight smile. The other jounins exchanged glances and Naruto tilted her head. Do we still have to protect him even though he is dead? It would be a good idea but the idea of this tiny woman smashing her grandfather-figure was an entertaining thought.

She actually wanted to see it happen.

"Then could I meet with her Guardian? Do you have his contact details? Or where I can even find him?"

"Good luck trying to find Jiraiya," Kakashi sighed and shook his head. "If you are able to find him then it is because he wants to be found."

Aizawa grimaced. "He is that difficult to locate?"

"Jiraiya had always been the master of hiding and running away," Tsunade confirmed. She grimaced and clenched her hands into a fist while everyone else blinked. "The only times he did a terrible job of hiding is when he wanted to perv on someone."

Narumi swirled her head at Naruto. "Did he ever—"

"No! Ero-Sennin isn't that bad!"

Letting out a sigh, the landlord slumped his shoulder and locked his eyes at him. There was a clear tiredness in the man, making Aizawa wonder what was the agreement made by the man and his student's Guardian.

"The man comes and goes like a ghost," the landlord explained. "I don't know where he lives or if he even is in the country. Even when he is in the country, I doubt he will visit Uzumaki. From what I understood from my limited interaction with Uzumaki that they haven't talk since she live in my apartment."

Tsunade frowned. "Did Jiraiya just leave you in a foreign country and not contact you at all? I know that Idiot is irresponsible but he can't be irresponsible enough to have you—"

"I didn't want to talk to him," Naruto stated flatly. "Even if he tried to send me a message then you can be certain that I would ignore it."

Aizawa narrowed his eyes at her. "Why haven't the two of you talk to each other?"

Because he did his job of getting me out of that place. She bit her tongue and chose instead to shrug her shoulders before looking up at the ceiling. She could feel four sets of eyes looking at her with concern but if anyone thought that was going to be enough to make her talk then they had another thing coming.

She had no intention of talking about her problems.

Aizawa kept his expression completely blank as he processed the information given to him. His fifteen-year-old student had a Guardian but hasn't talked to him since she found a place to live. This was both interesting and disturbing if you asked him. Why haven't they talk to each other? There was a story behind this.

"There is no story," Naruto said. "If I don't need anything from Ero-Sennin then there is no need for me to talk to him. "

Sasuke stared at her. "Naruto."

I know you are hiding something. She could hear those words coming out from his tone and Naruto bristled before giving her childhood friend the middle finger. Sakura frowned and Hinata only shook her head. Everyone else just furrowed their eyebrows together before tilting their heads at them.

There was also another thing he wanted to know.

"Do you know anything about Uzumaki and her parents?"

Rubbing the back of his neck, the landlord replied. "I know that Uzumaki doesn't have any parents and that she lost them to a some Villain attack."

"Well Ero-Sennin wasn't exactly wrong to claim that," Naruto said, stretching her legs out. A yawn escaped her lips and the blonde blinked when Bakugou's grandmother continued to gaze at her with sad, mournful eyes. I don't understand why she keep giving me those looks. Well a part of her knew why but it could be her imagination being worked up. "The Kyuubi is a villain."

Bakugou stared at her. "How the fuck are you so casual about this kind of thing?"

"I had 15 years to accept the fact that my parents are dead," she said flatly. "You wanna hear me bitch and mourn over not having parents? Then sorry Blasty but I'm not that kind of person."

Hinata nodded. "Naruto-chan never complains about it."

"She never talks about her own problems," Gaara observed. Naruto raised an eyebrow and the red-haired boy gazed at her with observing eyes. "Do you think that you will feel better if you talk about it?"

"I didn't talk about it when I was 12 and I'm definitely not talking about it now."

Everyone gazed at her with frowns playing on her lips. Naruto scowled and looked down at her skirt. Why the hell should she talk about her non-existent problems to them? She had been doing fine for the last couple of years. There was no need to make a pity fest over how crappy her life had been.

No one wants to hear her story, not when they think that their life story was more tragic than her own life.

The Underground Hero raised his eyebrow at this piece of information. Was it possible his student wanted to get revenge against the people that killed her family? It wouldn't make sense. The law made it clear that such actions were against heroic duties. His student also didn't seem to harbour any hints or tendency of people seeking revenge.

"I'm not Sasuke," Naruto informed Aizawa. The black-haired man blinked and swirled his head to Sasuke. Her former teammate thinned his lips and raised an eyebrow at her. Really? Didn't you want to hurt Itachi for what happened to my Mom? She ignored the question and looked up at the ceiling. "My form of revenge is more subtle than the bastard over there."

Sasuke narrowed his eyes at her. "What the hell is your revenge?"

"Not giving a fuck about that person," Naruto answered sweetly. "And making myself happy and healthy because I won't be a mindless follower."

Sakura frowned. "Naruto, you of all people should understand—"

"It is because I understand that I'm upset with the Bastard!" She snapped at her pink-haired teammate. Her blue eyes glowed with annoyance as everyone flickered their eyes between them. "Your brother tells you to do something and you just follow it! Why the fuck do you still listen to him?"

Sasuke scowled. "Naruto, you think I want to listen to him? But if he is alive then how the fuck can I be certain that he won't come back and ruin the happiness that I found? He was after you! The moment I let my guard down, he came back!"

He frowned and thought of another question to ask.

"And how old was Uzumaki when she lost her parents?"

The landlord shrugged. "From what I know from her Guardian, Uzumaki was barely a day old when the Villain attacked their home," he sighed. "Look I don't know much about her. I don't make it a point to get to know my tenants; all I care about is her rent money. I just have the added bonus of keeping an eye on her."

Naruto narrowed her eyes. "Why the hell is he keeping an eye on me?"

"Because Jiriaya asked him," Tsunade commented. The blonde blinked and swirled her head at the Fifth Hokage, who relaxed her shoulders. The Third Hokage blinked while Narumi let out a sigh of relief. "I knew he wouldn't be so foolish to not have someone keep an eye on you."

The blonde thinned her lips. "If that is true then I'm moving out."

"Why did I have to get two stubborn grandchildren?" Narumi muttered. Naruto froze and swirled her head at the woman, blue eyes growing wide at those words. Did that woman just say that she was her granddaughter? No. Her ears must be playing tricks on her because the Third Hokage told her that her parents came from Konoha.

She must be imagining things.

Aizawa grimaced and stared at the confident eyes of the landlord. There was one thing that nagged him now that he knew about Uzumaki's living situation. If the girl did have a guardian then why wasn't the man paying for the rent? Why did Uzumaki have to bring in the money to pay for the rent? And why wasn't he living with Uzumaki?

Something didn't make sense.

"Explain to me why does Uzumaki have to pay for her rent when she has a Guardian capable of paying it for her." The man gulped when Aizawa narrowed his eyes at him. His student was just fifteen. She shouldn't be forced to work when there was someone, who could provide for her. She should be more focused on her studies instead of bills and rent.

"I learnt most of the shit in the Academy," Naruto explained. "The only reason I am going to middle school is because it looks weird for someone my age to not go to school."

Aizawa eyed her. "Did you have to worry about bills and rent back in Konoha?"

"I only started to have those worries when I graduated from the Academy," Naruto answered, shrugging her shoulders. "When I was in the Academy, the Old Man would pay for my rent and all that kind of stuff. It just came out of my orphan funds but since I stopped being a ward to the state…well Sasuke and me had to worry about it."

Sasuke grimaced. "You were nearly kicked out because those old ladies wanted to deck our pay over the plants."

"Thank god, I like to save my money and you were nice enough to lend me some money to pay back that Old Goat!" Naruto said, grimacing. "I would have been out on the streets again."

Narumi stared at her. "Again!"

Something told her that the Third Hokage was going to die for the second time.

The man backed away and attempted again to slam the door, but Aizawa pulled the door open and slid towards the nervous man. He grabbed hold of the man, black eyes promising a lifetime of trouble if the man didn't start talking. His student should never be exploited in this way.

"I'm not being exploited," Naruto said, narrowing her eyes at Aizawa. "And I don't understand why the fuck you care so much. You aren't my father! You are going to be my teacher which means you shouldn't interfere with my personal life!"

Aizawa narrowed his eyes. "If you don't have anyone to look after you then it is my responsibility to fulfil that role towards you. I know you believe you are an adult and that you can make your own decisions but you are only 15! You still need to mature before I think it is fine for you to pay for your own stuff!"

"Sasuke and me have been dealing with this—"

"Just because the two of you have been doing this, doesn't mean that it is right." Aizawa said evenly, flickering his eyes at Sasuke and then locking his eyes on her. "Kids your age, should be worrying about their studies and their future! They shouldn't be worried about rent!"

"Her Guardian does pay for her rent," the man cried out. Aizawa blinked at this piece of information and raised his eyebrow at the man. "But Uzumaki doesn't know about it. Her guardian made it clear to me that Uzumaki should never know about it. He threatened to never give me a sneak peek of his next book if the girl finds out that he has been doing this. Please don't tell her!"

"If Ero-Sennin pays for my rent then what has that asshole been doing with my precious money?" Naruto demanded, folding her arms against her chest. I have to pay back so much rent money to Ero-Sennin now. Her eyes reddened and everyone just stared at her with wide eyes.

The Third Hokage frowned. "Naruto-chan, are you okay?"

"Will you be okay if you knew that you have to pay back the money?" Naruto demanded. "You think I'm going to let Ero-Sennin pay for my stuff! I don't want pity!"

Narumi frowned and thinned her lips into a very thin line.

Aizawa observed the man. The panic in the landlord's voice made it clear to the Hero that the landlord was telling the truth. This guy must be some kind of author for the man to be visibly distressed at the thought of not getting the sneak peak of the man's book. A very good author, Aizawa decided as he stared at the anxious man.

"He is an amazing author!" Mineta declared.

Bakugou stared at him. "The book is filled with grammatic error and have plotholes that are too big to ignore!"

Naruto bobbed her head in agreement and felt a shiver of fear running down her spine. She slowly turned her whole body around and gulped when Mitsuki narrowed her eyes at her son. Masaru inched away from his wife, not looking the woman in the eye while Narumi raised an eyebrow at Bakugou.

"Dad was the one who left it lying around!" Bakugou protested.

Mitsuki swirled her head and smiled sweetly at her husband. "Dear, mind explaining to me why you have been reading those terrible books? Have I not been—"

"No!" Masaru cried with flushed cheeks. "But a person from work gave it to me and I got curious."

The blond-haired woman grunted.

It took a lot of guts to try and lie to a Hero.

"Why doesn't he want Uzumaki to know he has been paying her rent? And what do you do with her rent money?" Aizawa finally asked.

The man darted his eyes around the floor, relaxing his shoulders when he saw that it was still just the two of them on the outside.

"Her guardian said that if she knows he has been paying for her rent then she might pay him back for the money," he admitted. "He claims that Uzumaki might think he wants something from her and that he doesn't believe Uzumaki can take care of himself. The girl wouldn't believe her Guardian did it out of love for her. The money that Naruto gives me is the money that her Guardian wants me to put into her account for when he dies. She will only be able to access it when he dies."

Oh but if he really cares about me then why did he leave me alone when I asked him? Naruto rubbed the back of her neck as everyone gazed at her with raised eyebrows. The Third Hokage relaxed his shoulders while Narumi thinned her lips. Bakugou and Midoriya exchanged glances.

"I'm still paying him back the money," Naruto finally grunted.

Tsunade frowned. "Naruto, Jiraiya has enough money to take care of your expenses and for once in his life, he isn't being all that stingy with his money."

"He didn't have to go through with the trouble of paying for my stuff," Naruto stated. If all that money was going to return back to her then she was just going to give it back to him. I didn't work that hard for my cash, only for him to put that money into the bank account. She bobbed her head.

Ino dropped her jaws. "Are you serious, Naruto? Why would you—"

"Because Naruto hates being indebted," Sasuke grunted, flickering his eyes at her. Naruto rubbed the back of her neck and looked down at her shoes. Is he still upset that I tried to pay him back after I finally got enough money to pay him back? She couldn't just take his money even though he had quite a lot of money from the Uchiha clan funds.

The girl wouldn't believe…

The hero curled his lips into a frown and flickered his eyes to the door across of them, where Uzumaki lived. This piece of information just confirmed one thing about his student. The fifteen-year-old girl did have trust issues, trust issues so severe that it affected the relationship between her and her Guardian.

"I don't have trust issues," Naruto grunted.

Bakugou stared at her. "The book says otherwise."

But where did it start from? And was there any other signs that he needed to worry about? Aizawa knew from experience that kids like Uzumaki did have habits that could bring out self-destruction. The girl might be working but there must be things that she had done as a way to prove the world was just cruel to her.

"I have done nothing of that sort," Naruto declared, raising her hands up in the air. "What on Earth could I have done that could bring out self-destruction? Working overtime is reasonable when you want to get tips! How is that self-destructive?"

Narumi sighed. "Self-destruction could be things like gambling, binge eating, self-injury and risky sexual behaviour. Which brings me to ask, have you brought any one back home for the night?"

"I have more than enough respect for myself!" Naruto grumbled. "And I don't do any of those—"

"You gamble," Sasuke stated.

Naruto's eyebrows twitched. "Did anyone ask your opinion, Bastard?"

He grunted and shrugged his shoulders while Midoriya and Bakugou stared at her with wide eyes. I only gamble a couple of times and the Bastard thinks that I have a problem. She only gambled out of a curiosity and…also because Jiraiya took most of the money from her wallet.

She needed the quick cash.

"Does Uzumaki have any friends that she brings over here? Or make any parties?" He asked. "She is a teenage girl living by herself and it isn't a stretch to think she does this kind of thing."

The man pressed his lips into a thin line. "Uzumaki? The girl has always been by herself. She just comes back home from work late and locks herself in there. No one goes in and out of that apartment. Sometimes when you look at her, you don't really feel like she is actually living life."

Bakugou bobbed his head in agreement while Midoriya frowned. Narumi clenched her jaws together and dug her nails against the palm of her hand while Kakashi regarded her with concern eyes. Naruto only grunted and looked away from the troubled eyes of her female best friend. She frowned when Sasuke stared at her.

Guilt shone through his black eyes and the blonde turned her head away from him. You think even I could bounce up from something like that? He taught her a valuable lesson when it came to friendship. Every member of Team Seven taught her a valuable lesson when it came to what happened.

"You made your bed, Sasuke," Naruto said quietly. "But I had to deal with the consequence of your actions."

Sasuke only closed his eyes.

No friends, working overtime and no contact with her Guardian made Aizawa think that maybe it was time he talked to the girl about going to therapy. He might need to change some plans about how he might run about the Class President, because Aizawa couldn't let the girl continue like this.

"No way in hell that you can make me go through therapy," Naruto declared. "I'm not talking about my problems to anyone. If those kind of things worked then Sasuke here would be a ball of sunshine with how much he opened up to Sakura."

Sakura gawked at her. "He never opened up to me! If anything, he seemed to be more opened with you!"

Uzumaki wouldn't go far if she doesn't battle her inner demons.

"Technically I would lose if I fought the Kyuubi," Naruto observed. Gaara bobbed his head in agreement while everyone else exchanged glances between them. The blonde inspected her nails before looking up at the ceiling. "So it is better if I don't fight the Kyuubi, nice try though."

Aizawa stared at her. "We both know that I'm not talking about the beast inside of you, but your problems. You won't ever go far as a Hero or a shinobi if you don't confront your problems, Uzumaki."

"You are your own worst enemy," Narumi stated. Naruto twisted her head around and clenched her jaws together as everyone else exchanged looks with each other. "If you don't even try to acknowledge your issues then you may end up doing something that will harm the people around you. You will blame your actions on other people instead of taking responsibility for it."

Naruto grew quiet and nodded.

The Hero department of Yuuei High split their teaching into two parts: the morning had them learning general classes while the afternoon handled the hero training class. The jump from middle school to high school wasn't that large if you asked Naruto, with some of the things they were learning were things she learnt in Konoha.

"You didn't exactly have the best grades in class," Sakura said slowly and carefully. "Are you sure that you aren't going to struggle in class? You didn't have the best grades when we were in the Academy?"

Naruto curled her lips into a thin smile and narrowed her eyes at her former teammate. "It might surprise you, Sakura but I'm actually smart. If anything, you should wonder whether you would have gotten in with how much you avoided physical exercise. Besides unlike you, I focused on the physical aspects of the job so that I won't get anyone killed."

Sakura flinched.

The only class she struggled in the morning was the English class. It was the one subject she struggled even in middle school since the language was just too different from Japanese. Maybe if she could finally figure out a tourist from her workplace then Naruto probably would get them to tutor her.

Tsunade blinked. "There are other languages?"

"Yeah," Naruto replied, bobbing her head. Sakura and Sasuke exchanged glances while the other members of Konoha and Suna stared at her with wide eyes. "The grammar is difficult for me because it follows a different structure. But what is really difficult is the speech bit! I always mess up!"

Bakugou grunted. "Are you comparing yourself to the countries that speak it as their native language?"

"…Maybe."

Naruto sighed and scanned the cafeteria for an empty table. All of the students seemed to have taken at least one of the table. The girl Kendou seemed to be sitting with a group of her classmates. Green eyes spotted her, a cheerful smile played on her lips as Kendou waved for her to sit with her. Naruto flashed a fake smile and shook her head.

Kendou slumped her shoulders.

Blue eyes continued to scan the canteen for another seat. She ignored the waves from Nejire and her friends, pretending not to notice the pout from her senior. Midoriya seemed to be chatting with his new found friends, his green eyes darting towards her and silently telling her that she could sit with them.

Too risky if you asked her. Midoriya was probably going to pester her about her Quirk, the Quirk that she made up because there was no way to explain it. Her classmate didn't actually want to get to know her or anything like that. He also didn't need protecting since he seem to have found a group of people who liked him.

"Wait you have been protecting me?" Midoriya asked, blinking his eyes. "I thought you didn't like me."

Hinata curled her lips into a slight smile. "It seems like Naruto-chan is still a softie."

"I'm not a softie!" Naruto declared, furiously shaking her head. Shikamaru and Choji raised their eyebrows at her while everyone else just blinked at her. The blonde puffed her cheeks and shot an annoyed look to her best friend. "I just dislike it whenever someone is acting like a bully! That doesn't mean I'm a softie!"

Sasuke stared at her. "You apologized to a rabbit because you nearly hit it with a kunai!"

"You would have apologized too!" Naruto retorted. "It was so cute!"

Her eyes landed on the mismatch boy in her class. There was a whole table left to him with no one taking a seat right beside him. She took a deep breath and plastered a smile on her face, before making her way towards the one classmate that Naruto knew wouldn't give a shit about her.

Todoroki was the pretty boy of their class, maybe their whole year and that meant only one thing to Naruto. He was the asshole that only cared about himself. Almost every pretty boy, Naruto knew was like that. It was ingrained into them to act like assholes. A wave of fangirls confessing their love to them was always met with indifference.

Naruto rubbed the back of her neck as everyone turned their heads around at her. Todoroki gazed at her with blank eyes, not revealing his emotions. Ino and Sakura exchanged glances before fixating their eyes at her. Narumi flickered her eyes between the two of them and finally, it was Todoroki who asked:

"So you are sitting beside me because I don't give a crap."

Naruto flinched. "Sorry."

"Are we going to talk about that you acknowledge that he was a Pretty Boy?" Ino asked slowly. The blue-eyed girl blinked and raised an eyebrow at the platinum-haired girl, who kept flickering her eyes between them. "You always made it seem like you are too high and mighty for these kind of things."

The blonde gazed at her. "I mentioned that there are a lot of Pretty Boys, so I don't understand your point."

"It means you are no different from me and Sakura," Ino declared.

Naruto stared at her. "I'm different because I won't go around confessing my love every five minutes because I don't have a crush. Unlike you and Sakura, I can acknowledge if someone is attractive but that doesn't mean I want to date them. Shikamaru is attractive as well but you don't see me asking—"

"You find him attractive?" Sasuke asked, flickering his eyes to the black-haired male. Narumi frowned and pressed her lips into a thin line while Sakura and Ino gazed at Naruto like she was insane. Shikamaru coughed and flushed a light shade of red while Kiba scowled and grunted.

The blue-eyed girl nodded. "Yeah and I don't need to tell you that you are attractive because we had Sakura, Ino and even Temari mention it. Kaminari over there looks good but that doesn't mean I like them in that way. Unlike Sakura and Ino, I actually prefer personality."

"What the hell does that mean?" Ino demanded.

Naruto shrugged. "Means I look for more than looks and talent because what is the point of someone looking and have Sasuke's talent if he is an asshole?"

Sasuke flinched.

"Do you actually find me attractive?" Todoroki asked, blinking.

Naruto stared at him for the longest time and then bobbed her head at him. She fought off the blush that threatened to come out as several of the girl continued to gaze at them thoughtfully. Hinata quirked her lips. Nothing is going to happen between us, Hinata. Her best friend looked faintly amused and Naruto grunted.

Friendships meant nothing to these people and this asshole probably wouldn't bother her.

"Can I take a seat?" Naruto asked, putting her bowl of ramen on the table. The boy looked up from his soba noodles, mismatch eyebrows furrowed at the sight of her, and nodded.

Naruto flashed him another smile and began stirring her ramen, blue eyes focused on her food. It surprised her to learn the school had a hero making them meals or that the meals could be so affordable.

"It looks really good," Choji groaned, rubbing his stomach as his eyes took in the shining bowl of ramen. "That looks better than any of the restaurants we have in the village!"

Naruto paused. "It has some real competition because Ichiraku ramen has the best ramen in the world."

She slurped her noodles, pretending not to notice the way her classmate kept flickering his eyes at her. If he had a problem with her table manners then Todoroki could go somewhere else, because Naruto was going to savour the taste of her favourite ramen. Those mismatch eyes weren't enough to make her move away.

Even if those mismatch eyes flared with so much hate and anger and had hints of curiosity.

Todoroki flinched and looked down at his hands while Naruto rubbed the back of her neck. I really don't like this book. It kept saying things from her thoughts and it was starting to hurt the people around them. What should she do? Apologize again? But it was the truth and she shouldn't be apologizing for the truth.

"Do my eyes really look like that?" Todoroki muttered.

Naruto cleared her throat. "Yeah."

She did not feel one ounce of guilt creeping up in her stomach.

"Why did you ask to sit if you already made your decision?"

Naruto looked away from the noodles and stared at Todoroki's eyes. Her brain tried to see if there was any hidden agenda behind his question. Did he think she was a fangirl? Todoroki was good-looking, probably one of the best-looking guys she had ever seen, but her classmate didn't seem like the kind of guy that counted his fangirls.

"Why would I have fangirls?" Todoroki asked, knitting his eyebrows together. Naruto blinked and stared at him with wide eyes. Did he not read or hear me talk about what bring fangirls? Did she have to spell things out to him? But if she explained things then it would just be embarrassing.

He was going to get the wrong idea.

"Because you are attractive," Naruto answered slowly and quietly. She pushed down the blood that threatened to run to her cheeks and shot an irritated look to her smiling best friend. "And you are also aloof. A guy like you will have 99% of the girls liking you for the cool factor."

Todoroki gazed at her. "But you don't like me."

"Do you want a 100%?" She grumbled.

He blinked. "Well why would I want 99% if they like me for shallow reasons? I like the 1%."

Naruto only gawked at him.

She saw no benefit for her to answer him.

"Because you look so friendly."

Todoroki blinked and knitted his eyebrows together. His mismatch eyes flashed with so much confusion that Naruto just had to wonder if the guy understood that she was being sarcastic.

"It seemed like sarcasm is lost with this guy," Bakugou stated. "Because that was obviously sarcastic."

Todoroki blinked. "How was it sarcastic?"

"Tone," Naruto answered. "Todoroki, have you never interacted with someone and not notice when they say one thing but mean another thing? There had to be people in your middle school that said things that they didn't mean."

He only nodded and looked at her thoughtfully while Sakura just stared at her with furrowed eyebrows. What? You think I'm going to yell at someone when they don't understand something! That is no way a person would learn. Naruto scowled and turned her nose up before looking away from her.

"I look friendly?"

He is clueless. Naruto could not stop herself from gawking at the befuddled boy right in front of her. It seemed like the guy only understood blunt statements, because nothing about what she said was the truth. Out of everyone in their class, Todoroki was the least friendly one.

"Todoroki doesn't look like it but he doesn't understand social cues," Hagakure commented. Naruto bobbed her head while Uraraka exchanged glances between the two of them. The invisible girl rubbed the back of her neck and stared at them. "But it is kinda cute if you think about it."

Naruto stared at her. "It also means if you tried to flirt with him then it will fly over his head."

"Are you thinking of flirting with him, Naruto-chan?" Hinata asked, quirking her lips slightly. Bakugou turned green while Sasuke looked away from her with lips curled into a small scowl. Why the hell is he acting like that? It is none of his business if I decide to flirt with someone.

She frowned. "And why would you think I will flirt with Todoroki?"

"Well why would you even think of flirting if you weren't considering it?" Hinata asked with faint smile playing on her lips. Naruto coughed and looked away while Ino and Sakura gawked at the two of them. I know I want Hinata-chan to be confident but not in this way. She shot an urgent look at Yaoyorozu and the girl curled her lips into a slight smile.

Thank god, someone was going to save her from her best-friend.

It was saying something when they had a classmate like Bakugou.

"You look like an absolute asshole," Naruto declared. Todoroki blinked and the blond-haired girl slurped on her noodles, blue eyes focused on those mismatch eyes. "Assholes don't seem to give a shit about other people so I know you won't ask me any questions. This suits me just fine."

Todoroki frowned. "Why do you think I'm an asshole?"

"Probably because of her schema," Narumi answered. Naruto blinked and furrowed her eyebrows together while everyone from Konoha knitted their eyebrows together. The 63-year-old woman sighed. "It is a cognitive structure that works as a framework for one's knowledge about people, places, objects and events. Naruto's life experience made her generalized."

Naruto stared at her. "I had another reason for calling him an asshole!"

"You claimed that every pretty boy is an asshole," Narumi reminded her. "Judging from your interaction with Uchiha as well as every other attractive male you interacted with, I presume they have all been…jerks to you. This has presumably made you prejudice to every attractive male that interacted with you."

The blonde blinked. "You got all of that form my thoughts."

The white-haired woman bobbed her head.

It was probably a terrible idea to answer him but Naruto knew she wasn't the type to make the right decisions. She probably was going to regret this later like she always did. This was probably going to bite her in the ass later.

"Your eyes are really cold," Naruto put down her chopsticks and stared at her classmate. "They are so cold that it doesn't allow anyone to get to know you."

Why the hell did you have to tell him that? Naruto folded her arms against her chest as Hinata looked at her with knowing eyes. Now her best friend looked at her like she believed she wanted to get to know the boy beside her. The blonde scowled and darted her eyes at Todoroki.

The boy only looked at the screen with thoughtful eyes before looking back at her.

Todoroki made no comment about her words, didn't even try to convince her that she was wrong. All he did was just stare at her with a blank expression, mismatch eyes not revealing his feelings at her words. All he did was just tilt his head, stared at her thoughtfully before continuing to eat his soba noodles in peace.

It was probably a terrible idea for her to get close to someone like Todoroki. Guys like Todoroki always ended up ruining her trust. Todoroki probably was not going to care about her.

"You don't know that," Todoroki observed. "I'm going to be different."

Naruto blinked and stared at him with furrowed eyebrows before shaking her head. Why would he be different? Sometimes, he might show some signs of being kind but that doesn't mean he was going to be different. Why would he even be different? Because she made some comment.

"Sure you will be different and my father is the Fourth Hokage," Naruto grunted.

The Third Hokage coughed while Tsunade looked at her with faint amusement. Why the hell are they looking at me with that? My father is definitely not the 4th Hokage! She furiously shook her head and looked down at her feet. In the corner of her eye, she could see Shikamaru looking at her with wide eyes.

He probably was going to call her names and insult her because that was what everyone did.

She probably was going to be the biggest idiot for talking to him, but Naruto could never break old habits.

"Maybe it might be a mistake but it could be a wonderful thing," Narumi informed her. Naruto blinked and knitted her eyebrows together as the white-haired woman darted her eyes between them. "Even though you might have been hurt, a part of you wants to be proven wrong or else you wouldn't have made the first move."

The blonde blinked. "Do you like the analyse the shit out of me?"

"Her job makes her have the need to analyse everyone," Bakugou grunted. "I won't be surprised if the Old Crone is making files for everyone in the room."

Narumi smiled with amusement while Kurenai and Asuma stared at the white-haired woman with weariness.

"Your eyes are really cold."

Uzumaki's words kept playing in the back of Todoroki's mind even when lunch ended and it was time for their first lesson on their training. All of their classmates seemed to be too busy chatting with each other, but all he could do was just stare at his classmate that still had a fake smile playing on her lips.

"Naruto-chan is well-known for not having any tac," Hinata admitted with a weary smile. Naruto rubbed the back of her neck as her best friend regarded her with faint amusement. "But this is the first time that Naruto-chan was this blunt and not hit someone before dropping the bomb at them."

Bakugou stared at Naruto. "And you made snide comments about my violent nature! You don't sound any better than me!"

"There is a difference," Naruto stated. "I hit my enemies, not the people that I consider my friends."

Sasuke eyed her. "You hit me."

"If Sakura failed to talk sense into you then what chances do I have?" Naruto asked, raising an eyebrow. Sakura blinked while Sasuke curled his lips into a thin line. "You always had a soft spot for Sakura. You always talked nice to her while I was treated like crap, so how the fuck do you think I am able to talk sense?"

Hinata hummed. "Yes, Sasuke. Why would Naruto-chan try the gentle approach when you never did that to her?"

"Hyuga, you know damn well why I couldn't do that—"

"Naruto-chan can't read minds," Hinata stated dryly as the blonde furrowed her eyebrows together. Sakura frowned and flickered her eyes between the three of them. "And your actions towards her can make anyone question who matters most to you. When you decided on things, you never thought of the consequence. You never think of the consequence!"

Sasuke growled. "Hyuga—"

"You weren't there when Naruto-chan came back from your battle," Hinata hissed, narrowing her eyes at him. "Do you know what I had to witness? Do you know what you did to the one friend that we shared in common? No because you never think! You always think about yourself!"

Sasuke kept quiet and Naruto furrowed her eyebrows together. I wasn't that bad, was I? The memories were a little bit fuzzy in her mind but it couldn't be as bad as her best friend made it to be.

Todoroki never thought about what he looked like to other people. It never crossed his mind what his eyes looked like to other people, not when he never liked looking at the mirror. The sight of the mirror meant looking at his scar-face and Todoroki never liked the sight of his face.

"Why?" Gaara asked.

Todoroki closed his eyes and touched his scar. "I'm sure the book would say the reason why."

The sight of his scar was not just a reminder of what his mother did to him, but it reminded him of just how much he looked like his old man. He hated how much he looked like the asshole.

Oh, he got the scar from his Mom. Naruto stared at the scar before allowing her hand to wander up to her own cheeks. She might have been even more harsh on him than he probably deserved. She licked her dried lips while Sakura and Tsunade exchanged glances between them.

"Why do you hate—"

"Sakura, don't ask," Naruto barked. Sakura blinked and opened her mouth to protest while the blond-haired girl shook her head at her. "You are the last person that should ever ask about something like this. There is a reason that he calls his father an asshole."

Sakura frowned. "Naruto, what the hell do you mean I'm the last person! I'm a medic!"

"Just because you are a medic, doesn't mean that you know empathy," Naruto said dryly. Ino stood up and Shikamaru and Choji pulled the girl down as everyone darted their eyes between them. "Or have you forgotten that you called me lucky for being an orphan?"

Sakura paled. "You heard that."

"Yeah and you are cold-hearted bitch."

The pink-haired girl opened her mouth but if her former teammate wanted to explain herself then Naruto wasn't going to hear it from her. Curling her lips into a scowl, the blonde gestured for her future classmate to continue reading. This was definitely not the time for her to yell at her former teammate about being cruel to her.

"So Uzumaki, what do you think of All Might being our teacher?" The blond-haired boy asked, turning around to stare at their smiling classmate.

Uzumaki tilted her hard and shrugged her shoulder. "I don't really care."

"You really don't care that we have the Number One Hero teaching us?" Kirishima demanded. "Are you insane? We are learning from the best and you don't care!"

Naruto shrugged. "Kakashi-sensei is one of the strongest shinobi in the village but he is a crappy teacher."

Kakashi winced while the Third Hokage only shook his head at them. What? You want me to lie and say that he can teach? He didn't teach me anything except teamwork. She grunted and sunk even deeper into the sofa while everyone just stared at her with wide eyes. She threw a scowl at them and gazed at the screen.

Todoroki locked his eyes on his classmates as everyone stared at the girl with gawking expressions. The only one, who didn't seem to be surprise by the answer was that Bakugou. He just snorted, folded his arms against his chest and locked eyes on the door. The boy Midoriya frowned, seeming just as confused as this answer.

Todoroku doubt that Uzumaki didn't care about All Might teaching them. For the last two days, he noticed the girl did care about people…even if she closed herself off from them. When Midoriya broke his finger, Uzumaki was one of the first people to be alarmed.

Naruto swirled her head at Izuku. "What the hell happened? How the hell do you break a finger!"

"Deku!" Bakugou growled. "What insane plan do you have running through your mind?"

The blue-eyed girl blinked and then realized that her voice had leaked out with concern for the green-haired boy. Shit, now Midoriya is going to get the wrong idea and think I care! She clenched her jaws together while Hinata relaxed her shoulders. The blonde raised an eyebrow at her best friend and frowned with concern when her best friend offered her a sad smile.

"I was worried after what happened with Sasuke that these little things about you faded," Hinata admitted, poking her fingers together. Naruto relaxed her jaws and closed her eyes. "I don't know what you have been doing in the past three years. So I'm glad little things about you haven't changed."

Naruto smiled wearily. "You don't mind the big changes?"

"As long as you are safe then I don't really mind," Hinata paused and flickered her eyes to Aizawa. "But I think your future teacher is not going to give up on you, Naruto-chan. I really do think that he is serious about getting you the help that you need, maybe he knows how you can recover during your episodes."

Naruto sighed. "Not even the Head Medic in Konoha could figure me out, so how can he figure it out?"

It was the only time when Uzumaki showed worry for someone else.

"I am," The door to the classroom slid open, a loud voice instantly booming across the class, followed by a bright laugh, "coming through the door like a normal person."

Todoroki's eyes instantly went straight to the front of the room and then to his classmate. Uzumaki's eyes grew large and a sight hint of amusement flashed before her eyes. The amusement faded, replaced by a look of sadness and nostalgia at the sight of All Might.

"Didn't that entrance remind you of Gai?" Asuma commented, flickering his eyes to Kurenai and Kakashi. The two other jounins exchanged glances before bobbing their heads together. Aizawa frowned and tilted his head to the side while Naruto curled her lips into a frown. Why didn't that lady bring Gai and his team?

Kakashi nodded. "He does have the same…youthful energy."

"I'm afraid to ask but who is Gai?" Aizawa asked with a small frown playing on his lips. "Is he also another symbol of reckless behaviour in your home?"

Naruto shook her head. "He is Kakashi-sensei's self-proclaimed rival and probably his only friend—"

"Now Naruto-chan, I have other friends," Kakashi answered with an eye smile. "Gai isn't my only friend in the village, just like how Hinata wasn't your only friend in the village."

The blonde stared at him. "Name me one other person that you hang out with and don't say Asuma and Kurenai because those two are too busy fucking each other and too afraid to commit to each other."

Hinata coughed and flushed a deep shade of red while Narumi looked faintly amused by her comment. Ino and Shikamaru exchanged before swirling their heads at the blushing jounin. Ashido grinned and leaned her body forward with eagerness. Everyone else just stared at the unfazed teen.

"And what makes you say that?" Asuma asked, avoiding the pointed but amused eyes of the Third Hokage.

The blonde grinned. "Your brother has a bet going on with Kotone-obaachan on when you two are going to just call each other partners. The fact that I don't see a ring on Kurenai's hand told me that you are still too chicken! At this rate, Kotone-obaachan is going to win the bet."

"And what did my sister-in-law say?" Asuma asked with twitching eyebrows.

"I think she said that you will only man up when the condom breaks," Naruto answered. Aizawa pinched his nose and looked faintly green while Kurenai buried her face with her hands. Asuma only groaned while Kakashi regarded her with careful eyes. Narumi just stared at her like she didn't know what to make of her. "But don't tell Kotone-obaachan that I told you. She didn't know I heard her."

Kakashi hummed. "I think Kotone is right."

He should be overjoyed at the fact that his childhood hero was here, but all Todoroki could do was focus on his classmate. He didn't understand why the sight of All Might could bring out such emotions from her. Everyone was enamoured by the man. Their classmates sat straight, chatting to each other about his arrival, but Uzumaki just hunched her shoulders.

"I teach Foundational Hero Training." All Might place his hands on his hips and locked eyes on the excited students. "Foundational Hero Training is a subject where you train in different ways to learn the basics of being a hero. You will take the most units of this subject!"

"Well we can figure that out but are we going to be separated by gender?" Naruto asked, furrowing her eyebrows together. Narumi and Aizawa raised their eyebrows together at the blond-haired girl and she further elaborated. "When we were in the Academy, there were specific subjects that were only taught to the girls."

Aizawa closed his eyes. "I'm afraid to ask but what were you taught."

"Seduction, flower arrangement," Naruto listed off with a scowl. "There might have been a make-up lesson but I skipped that class because of how boring it was. There may have been some basic medical learning but well obviously I didn't care about that. Cooking classes were also there but I skipped it too."

Bakugou stared at her. "Why?"

"Well I can recover quite quick which is one of the reasons that I don't ever feel the need for it. First-aid always bored the crap out of me so I guess Sasuke and I lucked out with Sakura because she loves that kind of stuff," Naruto replied. "I know how to cook so really I don't see the point of learning it from some old woman, who didn't bother to climb up."

Narumi eyed her. "May I ask why you seem to be skipping half of your classes?"

"Well it felt like they were grooming us for motherhood," Naruto replied with a scowl. The Third Hokage gulped when Mitsuki and Narumi narrowed their eyes at him and the blonde exhaled. "They were talking bullshit about having kids and how it is our responsibility to bring in the next generation of shinobi. I wanted to climb to the top and they kept telling us that we have to support the males!"

Shikamaru eyed Yaoyorozu. "Continue because Naruto can rant about it for an entire hour."

All Might struck a pose, winding his arm backwards as his muscular body coiled back tight like a bow. He whipped around, brandishing a card for all of them to see. Everyone knitted their eyebrows at the English word for battle.

Todoroki's eyes flickered to Uzumaki. Blue eyes continued to grow even sadder and sadder as the man explained to them about what they were going to do for their first lesson. He glanced at his other classmates, noticing for the first time that none of them seemed to have noticed the pain in Uzumaki's eyes.

"Who wants to bet that by the end of the book that Todoroki here will have the hots for Uzumaki!" Kaminari declared, raising his hand up. Bakugou shot a glare at the male while Todoroki only gazed at the grinning blond-haired boy. Naruto just frowned and shot him a scowl. "What? It is obvious that Todoroki is going to be watching her like a hawk!"

Naruto stared at him. "And you are saying that because he noticed my non-existent pain?"

"It is very much existent," Kirishima pointed out, jerking his finger at the screen. "None of us are noticing it because of All Might but Todoroki seems to be really intent of keeping an eye on you!"

Naruto twisted her head at Todoroki. "You are doing this because I called you out?"

"You irritated me," he replied. "So I have to look for ways to prove you wrong."

The blonde groaned.

"You look so friendly."

"Assholes don't seem to give a shit about other people."

He knew Uzumaki was right to say he wasn't friendly. It should annoy him that his classmate acted rude to him, called him out of his behaviour but Uzumaki made him sound like he was Endeavour. He was nothing like that shitty old man. His shitty old man never cared about how his mother felt, always caring about what he wanted.

"I knew Endeavour was an ass on television," Kaminari commented. "But I didn't know he could be a jerk to his own family too."

Todoroki only kept quiet while Naruto just stared at him. Did I do the wrong thing by saying those words to him? Was I being too harsh on him? She felt guilt creeping up into her stomach and the blonde glanced at her neighbour before dropping her shoulders. Great, now it really did seem like she was a bitch.

"Endeavor sounds like a certain person we know," Hinata stated, locking her eyes on Sasuke. "A certain someone who only cared about his own selfish needs instead of the needs of the people around him."

Sasuke narrowed his eyes at her. "How am I anywhere similar to his father?"

"You never cared about how Naruto felt when she was in a team with you," Hinata replied sharply. The boy flinched while Sakura frowned and darted her eyes between the two heirs. "You never apologized whenever you were in the wrong! Not you! And definitely not Sakura! When you lost everything, who was the one who mourned with you! When you were sick, who was the one to take care of you?"

Naruto trembled and furiously shook her head as a pair of heterochromatic eyes regarded her with careful consideration. If he asked her why she was crying then she was never going to answer him. I'm fine! I don't need this crap. Her former friend made his bed and made it clear to her that she didn't matter.

"Hinata, it is enough," Naruto said quietly as Sasuke closed his eyes. "I'm the fool that thought that more than 6 years worth of friendship meant something to him and I'm the idiot that believed that he gave a shit about me. You should be yelling at me for being stupid enough to care for someone like him."

Sasuke flinched.

Todoroki wasn't like that. He knew Uzumaki had issues just like his mother had. No one ever asked his mother about how she felt. His brothers and sister were too young to comfort their mother. They probably never thought to ask about her feelings or tried to help her in their own way.

Hinata looked at Todoroki with appreciation while Naruto just looked at him with surprise. What exactly happen to his mother? The situation seemed similar to what she endured in Team Seven. No one in her team ever asked her about her feelings but that had never really mattered to her.

Aizawa regarded Kakashi. "Have you ever asked Uzumaki about her feelings on certain matters?"

Kakashi wordlessly shook his head and just stared at her with a frown playing behind his mask. The other members of Team Seven blinked and tilted their heads at the blonde, but Naruto only shook her head. If they never asked about her feelings before then there was no need for her to talk about it now.

He wasn't able to help his mother but Todoroki wanted to help Uzumaki. Maybe he was wrong but the first step of showing that he did care was maybe to ask the question:

"Are you okay, Uzumaki?"

Narumi nodded. "That is the best question to start with because a simple question like that can touch a person's heart."

"Even if he asked me that question, I won't start talking about my feelings and all that crap," Naruto answered, shaking her head. She shot an apologetic look to Todoroki and the boy remained unfazed by her words. He just stared at her before bobbing her head. "I don't need to talk about that kind of shit."

The white-haired woman hummed. "If that was the case then we wouldn't be here but I think you are going to be opening up to Todoroki. Who knows maybe the two of you will form a very strong bond between the two of you."

"And my great-grandfather was a Kage," Naruto retorted.

The Third Hokage coughed. "Well Naruto—"

"No," Naruto said flatly. "You are telling me that my great-grandfather was a leader?"

The man bobbed his head. "He was a very paranoid old man but your mother's grandfather was the leader of Uzushiokagure, which means that Akimoto-san is probably going to be right about the bond between you and Todoroki-san."

"You and me are going to have some words about my mother's side of the family," Naruto declared, folding her arms against her chest. Hiruzen blinked and tilted his head while Mitsuki and Narumi exchanged glances between them. "If my great-grandfather was that amazing then explain how the fuck I ended up dealing with that hell?"

The Third Hokage looked at her. "I have a reasonable explanation—"

"You better hope so," Naruto grunted. "Because I didn't deal with all that to only learn that my great-grandfather had been a kage! What's next: my father is the Fourth Hokage? And he is that Old Lady's son?"

"Funny that you have to say that—"

"…You better hope that I don't try to send you to the hospital once you explain everything, Old Man because nothing could explain the crap that I went through."

Narumi only closed her eyes and gazed at her with sad eyes. I have so many questions to ask you and so many things I want to know about my father. Naruto cleared her throat and looked away. A part of her felt the need to cry but she was going to endure it. She was going to endure it even though everyone kept looking at her with wide eyes.

All of them seemed to have gotten the silent message that this was not the time to make a scene.

His classmate tore her eyes away from All Might, swirling her head at him as her bright blue eyes grew wide at his question. A large smile played on her lips as Uzumaki said, "I am fine."

He observed his smiling classmate. The words 'I am fine' had a cheer towards them but Uzumaki's lips trembled, almost like she was just trying to convince herself that she was fine. She wasn't fine but didn't want to tell him or anyone that she was hurting.

"It isn't that Naruto-chan doesn't want to tell people that she isn't fine," Hinata observed. Naruto shot a warning look to the Hyuga Heiress but the girl only shot her back a disapproving look before continuing on. "But Naruto-chan always believed that she has to put other people's feelings before her own feelings."

Ashido frowned. "But that isn't healthy!"

"I can handle it," Naruto declared, shaking her head at her best friend. She looked at the screen and ignored the doubtful eyes of Todoroki as everyone else frowned at her. "Besides, why should I care about my feelings? My feelings don't matter in the grand scheme of things."

Sakura stared at her. "Naruto…"

"Just don't even try to talk to me, Sakura," the blonde whispered with a fake smile playing on her lips. "If you think that you can say that my feelings matter then your actions towards me tells me otherwise. You hit me whenever I had an outburst with one of Sasuke's behaviour because 'Sasuke-kun, doesn't need this bullshit from you, Naruto!' or have I forgotten."

"I was thinking about Sasuke—"

"You always think about him," Hinata growled. "You always think that it is only you and Sasuke in the team! You have a third member in that team and that third member saved you more times than you deserved!"

Maybe he should ask her about what was troubling her.

Todoroki darted his eyes to their other classmates, who were now getting off of their seats and making their way towards the slots that had slid out of the wall. None of them seemed to be paying much attention to him or Uzumaki. They were more excited about their chance to wear their battle gear than to notice their other classmates.

"Would you even be willing to talk to someone about their issues if someone suddenly asks you? What could you do?" A voice in the back of his mind asked him, making him pause at what he was going to say next. He wouldn't want to talk to people about what happened between his mother and him, or what Endeavour did to him.

Narumi regarded the boy carefully. "Todoroki-san if you ever feel the need to vent out about certain delicate issues then you can come to my clinic to talk about it."

"I will think about it," Todoroki declared with a quiet, thoughtful tone. "But will it—"

"I won't tell the media about it," Narumi confirmed. Naruto frowned and closed her eyes while everyone else just furrowed their eyebrows at him. Gaara only looked at the white-haired woman with a tilted head before darting his teal eyes to Todoroki. The male gazed down at his hands and Naruto let out a sigh.

Ino just gazed at them. "Can we know what happened with your father and your Mom?"

"You really can't read the mood, can you?" Naruto grumbled as Shikamaru and Temari nodded their heads in agreement. "You can guess what the hell is happening from the words. Also even if we didn't know, you can't just demand for someone to talk about their problems."

Sakura stared at her. "Didn't you demand for Neji to—"

"He tried to kill Hinata-chan," Naruto said curtly. Several eyes widened and the blue-eyed girl pressed her lips into a thin line. "And even though I did that, doesn't mean what I did was right. Besides, Neji and all my other opponents were willing to talk about their problems. Todoroki doesn't seem like he is ready to talk about it."

Bakugou blinked. "How many people talk about their problems to you?"

"Haku, Gaara, Neji," Naruto counted with a tilted head before flickering her eyes at Sasuke. "At one point Sasuke talked a little and then he closed up on me, so I don't know if that counts as well. But that is probably the people who talked to me about their problems so far."

Narumi nodded. "It seems like they feel like there is something about you that allows them to open up."

"Or maybe the plot requires them to open up to me," Naruto retorted.

He didn't even know what to say to her. Todoroki doubt Uzumaki would suddenly open her heart and tell him about the problems she had as a child. The fake smile and the lies were enough to tell him this, but he couldn't just keep quiet.

Todoroki needed to know what to do to get Uzumaki to open up to him.

'Natsuo, are you sure that you want to be a counsellor?"

Tsunade blinked. "What is a counsellor?"

"They help people with emotional issues," Todoroki answered quietly. Naruto blinked and tilted her head as Tsunade and the Third Hokage exchanged glances between each other. Sakura blinked and stared at her with wide eyes while Hinata leaned forward. "They also tend to help people with mental health issues."

Narumi smiled sadly. "I think I understand what brought your brother to the field, but he seems to be a very kind man."

Todoroki only kept quiet and Naruto frowned when Hinata looked at Narumi with thoughtful eyes. Wait, this old woman is my grandmother so do I have to call her Grams?

The words from over a year ago echoed in Todoroki's ear as his eyes followed Uzumaki. His sister asked the question when Natsuo informed them of his degree. Endeavour didn't care, only grunting before leaving for work. Fuyumi had been concern for some reason, maybe she explained it but Todoroki probably didn't pay attention to it.

This was probably something his brother might have some knowledge on how to deal with someone like Uzumaki.

"Unless he had done some training, I wouldn't recommend going to him for help," Narumi commented with a frown. Todoroki frowned while the white-haired woman darted her eyes from Naruto to Aizawa. "Your brother must be in his first year of university and first years generally don't have much experience and then you have to consider what branch he wants to work on."

Aizawa nodded. "There are many branches when it comes to counselling. Some people do mental health counselling like Akimoto-san while some people focus on educational and marriage counselling."

"Wait, how did you know Akimoto-san focus on that field?" Ino asked, furrowing her eyebrows together.

The black-haired man sighed. "Principal Nedzu has been trying to get her to come in to work for us. With how stressful our jobs can be alongside other factors, he believed that we need a professional to check up on us and the students. Akimoto-san is probably the best in the field."

"There are other people who can do better than me," Narumi answered with a slight smile. "I believe that young Hashimoto-san is doing good too or else there wouldn't be people comparing her to me in my prime."

Even though all of her classmates were excited about their hero costumes and the fact All Might was teaching them, Naruto could only feel indifference. She felt like an observer as Uraraka and Midoriya chatted in excitement about the class, while another classmate openly leered at one of the girls.

'Welcome to your first day of the Academy! I want everyone to introduce each other: tell us your name, your likes and dislikes and your dream for the future.'

The image on the screen faded and showed the image of the Konoha 9 as 7-year-olds sitting in their seats as Iruka stood in front of them with a smile. He was the only teacher who made us do that stupid introduction. Their teacher from their first year of the Academy never cared about those stuff.

"We were so young," Ino commented, squinting her eyes at the image of herself. Naruto grunted and snuck a glance at Narumi and Mitsuki. The two women just stared at the image of her smiling 7-year-old self with sad frowns playing on their lips. "I don't even remember that happening!"

Naruto sighed. "I'm sure if you remembered it then you will be surprised how your 7-year-old self dream changed so much from your 8-year-old dream. I actually respected you until you changed your goal of being a good Head to your clan to being Mrs. Uchiha Sasuke."

"At least my dream is achievable," Ino hissed. "Who was the one that kept yelling that she is going to be the strongest kunoichi in the world and that she will be Hokage? You aren't even training under Jiraiya! At this rate, Sakura is going to take that title from you. She is training under Tsunade while you are doing nothing!"

Naruto smiled thinly. "Sure but the moment Sasuke is back, Sakura is going to forget all that training and cry for Sasuke to save her! Me? I won't ever ask my future love interest to save my ass because I have some pride! And by the way, I don't need Ero-Sennin to get stronger! I can do that by myself if I want!"

Like hell was she going to let Sakura take the title that she worked her ass off.

Maybe she just felt indifferent because Naruto never wanted to become a Hero so badly like her classmates.

Naruto shook her head and stared at All Might. The hero locked his blue eyes and the large smile playing on his lips faltered slightly at the sight of her. Those eyes seemed to have grown slightly larger, looking at her like she was some kind of ghost from his past. He darted his eyes to Bakugou and then to her.

"He tried looking for your father," Narumi commented quietly. Everyone blinked and turned their bodies around to stare at the white-haired woman, who gazed blankly at the screen. "Your grandfather was a selfish bastard who knew all too well how to cover up his tracks because not even All Might could save him."

Sakura blinked. "Wait, you and Naruto are—"

"Grandmother and granddaughter? Yes," Narumi answered. She smiled thinly at the pink-haired girl and the teen shivered and trembled with fear while Bakugou groaned at this piece of information. "So young lady, if I find any more distressing information in this book…you can be reassured that I will teach you the lesson that your parents never taught you."

Bakugou rubbed his butt. "You better pray that Whiskers is going to paint you in the best light because the Old Crone can really whack you where it hurts!"

"I agree," The Third Hokage shuddered and touched his bruised arms and legs. "Akimoto-san has proven that Naruto didn't only inherit her strength from her mother side of the family or that legendary temper."

Sakura paled.

He was probably like their old classmates.

'Uzumaki, you know you and Bakugou look kind of similar.'

It had been one of the first words spoken by one of their female classmates in middle school. Naruto could only see the resemblance with the shape of their nose, but everything else about them was different. Her parents had come from Konoha or so Naruto would like to think. The Third Hokage never really told her anything about her parents.

"You have got your mother face shape," Narumi answered, inspecting the blond-haired girl. Naruto blinked and then gazed at her with wide, curious eyes as the white-haired woman inspected her. "But you have got my eyes there is definitely no denying it. Your nose is more like mine and Minato but everything else screams your Mom."

Naruto gulped. "Oh."

"Your father definitely picked a looker," Narumi said with an amused smile. "I could only imagine how overprotective he would have been with you, if he was alive. Did you know that your father tried to pummel all the kindergarteners who tried to hit on your Aunt? Tsubasa encouraged that behaviour too!"

The blonde blinked. "My father did what now? But he is supposed to be gentle! Everyone who met him, kept saying that he was a gentle ass man!"

"Not when it comes to the females in his family," Kakashi commented quietly. Naruto blinked and twisted her head to gaze at her former teacher, who stared at her with remorse and faint amusement. Narumi raised an eyebrow. "Your father may have debated on making a seal to make you look like a boy! And he glared at every boy below the age of six because he believed that they were the devils and that they were going to take you away from him."

Narumi sighed. "It seems like Tsubasa rubbed off on him."

"Your future boyfriends are lucky then if they have no overprotective father to worry about," Masaru commented with a grimace. He shuddered and trembled as everyone stared at him with confused eyes. "Mitsuki might have inherited her father's Quirk but that man had some creative ways of telling me of what he would do to me if I break Mitsuki's heart. I envy your future boyfriend and his luck."

Shouto sneezed.

'When you become a Chunin or when you turn sixteen then I promise you that I will tell you everything that you want to know about your parents."

"Well now we got that part over and done with," Naruto said dryly as the Third Hokage bobbed his head. "But I still need an explanation on how the fuck that my family ended up being this messy and why you didn't think to tell me that my Dad is the Fourth Hokage!"

The Konoha 9, except for Shikamaru and Naruto, and the future members of Class 1A gawked before screeching:

"You are the daughter of the Fourth Hokage!"

Naruto nodded and gestured for Yaoyorozu to continue reading the book. I don't want to deal with their reactions until we are done with the book. The book seemed thick and that meant there were a lot of content for them to get through. Content that needed time for them to read and she didn't have that kind of time.

"What if you die, old man? Who would tell me about my parents? You are not getting any younger!"

"I'm not going to die any time soon, Naruto."

"You better not! I wanna take that hat from you!"

Midoriya stared at her. "You sound really similar to Bakugou when you were younger, Uzumaki-san."

"We can now say that it is unfortunately genetic," Naruto declared, shaking her head. "Of all the people I have to be related to, I have to be related with the asshole that insults his best friend."

Bakugou's eyebrows twitched. "Oi Blind Girl, has Whiskers ever insulted you?"

"She has but it isn't because she is a bitch because Naruto-chan isn't one," Hinata answered calmly. Naruto bobbed her head while Sakura and Ino exchanged glances before swirling their heads at them. You think our relationship had been smooth sailing? We worked through things unlike you two. She inspected her nails. "Naruto-chan will go through something that makes her lash out and when it happens…she apologizes."

Narumi nodded. "That means you need to man up to your mistakes, Bakugou and start growing up."

She balled her hands into a fist and forced herself to smile even harder. Tears threatened to break out of her eyes as it always did whenever Naruto remembered the Third Hokage. He broke his promise to her. The fear that he would die before she could find out about her parents came true. It wasn't his fault that Orochimaru killed him.

It was her fault for believing that the Third would live long enough to tell her the truth.

"Even though I died Naruto, I did have plans for someone to keep my end of the promise," The Third Hokage informed her. Naruto stared at him with wide eyes as a frown played on his lips. "Jiraiya was going to be the one to tell you in the event that I died before you became a chunin."

Naruto stared at him. "So in another three years! What about when I'm 16!"

"…You aren't a chunin."

Naruto shook her head.

"Did Danzo and Homura alongside the other protectors base their decision on Naruto's match with Neji?" The Third Hokage asked with twitching eyebrows. Tsunade blinked and then bobbed her head while the Third grimaced. "Her other criteria could have made up for it, Tsunade. Naruto was already ready for promotion during that time…although her maturity was not desirable."

Tsunade sighed. "Koharu argued long and hard to get her promotion but I didn't know Naruto all that well during that time. So I had to take the consideration of the majority when it came to handing promotions."

"She made a good tactic and fulfilled the criteria of the mission," The Third Hokage observed. "Anyone who fought against a Hyuga knows that it is difficult to fight them in close combat and she needed to win the fight. You could say that she should have given up but the fact that Neji attempted to kill his cousin…well that made things difficult for Naruto to remain in control."

Sakura blinked. "You would have given her a promotion? She is impulsive and emotional at times! A leader can't be impulsive!"

"I have been watching Naruto since she was six, Sakura," The Third Hokage commented. "And while Naruto can be emotional, you are the same as her but I see from your vest that Tsunade still handed you a promotion. Then there is the fact that Naruto has always been the leading type or do you think I don't know that Naruto is the one that gets the other boys to skip class with her."

Naruto frowned. "Then did you know about that incident?"

"Why do you think Hiroaka was fired?" The Third Hokage asked calmly. "And why do you think I kept trying to persuade you to do better in school? I picked the teacher that I considered to be the least bias towards you, however it seems like Iruka still held onto certain grudges that didn't disappear until after your little stunt."

The blonde sighed. "That exam system is rigged! My scores were perfectly fine!"

"They were but Iruka was nit-picking with you," The Third Hokage admitted. "But I also thought that your father would prefer that you didn't go into the field until you were older, which is why I didn't push him to let you graduate."

"Young Uzumaki!" Naruto blinked back to herself and out of her painful thoughts to realize All Might stood right in front of her. A bright smile was plastered on his face as his blue eyes locked on her.

The man was the greatest hero of all time and was considered the Pillar of Hope in Japan. But Naruto felt like just another nameless citizen in front of this man. All Might didn't actually see her. She was just another face to him, insignificant and unimportant in the grand scheme of things.

"That is a rather dark way of looking at it," Uraraka commented.

Naruto shrugged.

She was just another face to him.

"Yes?" She smiled brightly and pulled herself back together as All Might stared at her. His blue eyes seemed focus on her long blond-hair and her own blue eyes, darting occasionally to Bakugou.

"Take a letter from the box, if you will!" All Might gave the box in her hand a small jostle. She stared blankly for a moment, trying to understand what the hell happened. With an even bigger smile, she pulled out a letter from the box. She realized that half of her classmates pulled their letters and had been waiting for her to pull it out.

"This is the problem when you have flashbacks," Kankuro grumbled. "Now we don't know what the hell is going on!"

Naruto frowned. "You think I can control when I have these flashbacks?"

"Just had to pray for good luck!" she lied and stared down at her letter. She got the letter C. She looked around to see what was happening as the rest of her classmates pulled out their letters.

"You didn't pay attention." Todoroki observed as she darted her eyes around. Naruto pressed her lips into a thin line, glancing down at his letter and saw he had the letter B. She finally bobbed her head, waiting for him to say something rude.

"You have very little faith in me," Todoroki stated. "Even if I'm distant, I won't say anything rude."

Naruto stared at him. "That is my future self!"

"I know," Todoroki agreed. "Which is why I'm telling you from now."

What he did next, surprised her.

"We are being split up into either being heroes or villains," Todoroki explained; his tone was calm and quiet as the box was carried to the next person. "And we are going to be fighting a 2-on-2 indoor battle. The person with the same letter is your teammate. There is going to be one team with three people."

"Knowing my luck, I'm going to be stuck in a team of three," Naruto grunted.

Hinata sighed. "Think of the positive, Naruto-chan. You might end up with nice teammates."

"Or I might end up with that monster of lust," Naruto grunted, pointing to Mineta. No amount of glaring from her and the other girls had been enough to cool down the boy's libido. If they ended up spending the night in this place then she was definitely going to be worried about her and Hinata's safety.

She expected him to insult her for not paying attention, not being patient while explaining to her about what they were going to do in the class. He probably doesn't want things to be held up or for a scene to be made. This was the only reasonable explanation for why he acted like this.

"You were confused," Todoroki stated. "Someone had to tell you what was happening."

Naruto groaned. "You know I have to make sense of things when you do something that conflicts with my knowledge of the wold!"

Pretty boys weren't patient and they were rude little shits that only cared about themselves.

"Everyone find your teammates!"

Naruto flashed a tight smile to her classmate and began searching for her partner or partners. Three people. She didn't know how to feel about being or watching a group of three students. Arguments would arise. Memories of Team Seven would play out and the thought of her old team brought a bitter pang to her heart.

"Naruto, didn't you have any good memories with us?" Sakura asked. "It wasn't all that bad."

"For every one good memory I have, I see 9 bad memories," Naruto answered quietly. Sasuke and Kakashi stared at her with slight widening of their eyes while Sakura just closed her mouth. Her green eyes looked sad and the blonde looked away from them. Todoroki gazed at her and the blonde shook her head. "For me…it was that bad. I never mattered before and I don't matter now."

Sasuke cleared his throat. "Naruto—"

"Don't do this," Naruto grunted. "Don't say that I mattered because I ended up with the fall out of what happened. Don't say that you cared about my feelings when I was in Team Seven because you never ever vocalized your concern. You think ramen was enough to cheer me up? I wanted you and Sakura to ask me what was wrong! But you never did!"

"It isn't that easy," Sasuke stated. "You know I have never been good with emotions even before him!"

The blonde clenched her jaws. "And you think I was good? I tried when I could and yeah I mess up but at least I tried. You never even tried to ask me! You never even tried to open up to me! I'm not Sakura, who can wait a lifetime for you to open up! I didn't want to be the one to always take all the steps! I have to give and give while you only take! That wasn't fair!"

'Why do I have to be put in the same team as him!"

"No! I am in the same team as her!"

Her throat burned every time that memory plays out in her mind as she forced herself to smile hard at her classmates.

"Whiskers!" Naruto swirled her head around as Bakugou grabbed hold of her wrist. She yanked her wrist away from him, raising a lone blond eyebrow at him. He held out his letter, scowling at her as he did so. Team D was the team that Bakugou was in. Naruto shook her head, held up her own letter and the bastard scowled even harder.

"Did you really want to be on a team with me?" Naruto asked Bakugou. "I thought you hate my guts!"

Bakugou grunted. "But I like winning more and if I had you on my team then my chances of winning the battle is going to be so much higher. You were always smart and the fact that you got a higher score than me, means that you were stronger than me."

"It must hurt you to admit this."

The boy only gave her the middle finger.

She didn't understand why Bakugou always seem to act strange around her.

"Uzumaki, can I please check your letter?" Yaoyorozu asked politely, walking up to her. She feels too nervous about her outfit. It was the first thought to come to Naruto's mind as the black-haired girl tried to ignore the leery looks of the purple-haired boy coming from behind them.

The amount of skin that Yaoyorozu showed didn't seem like much if you asked Naruto. It made sense when she thought of what the girl needed to do with her Quirk, but the girl needed to own it. Confidence was hard to build when one had no experience with revealing clothes, or doing inappropriate things.

"I don't have a problem with nudity," Yaoyorozu informed her. Naruto raised an eyebrow and pointed to the screen. The black-haired girl sighed and pointed to Mineta. "But it is difficult to remain confident when you have that leering at you like you are a piece of meat."

Ino stared at her. "Just hit him in the head."

"I'm not a barbarian!" Yaoyorozu cried.

Naruto shook her head. "When it comes to a pervert, beating them is the only way to teach them a lesson. There is no such thing as barbarians when it comes to a matter like this. You either make yourself the head bitch in charge or change your outfit because Mineta won't be the first pervert."

The Kunoichi lessons they had always made it a point for them to learn the importance of seduction. It had been the lesson Naruto enjoyed the most, beside taijutsu. She learnt how men could be putty with just the right words and actions.

"You actually enjoyed them?" Temari asked with a raised eyebrow. "From what Ino said, it seemed like you hated those lessons."

Naruto sighed. "Well it was interesting to try them out on Sasuke, Shikamaru and even Choji."

"You did what!" Sakura and Ino screeched. Sasuke closed his eyes and shot her an irritated look while Hinata shook her head in amusement. The blonde sighed and dug her finger into her ear. Was it that hard to believe that she wouldn't try them out? She was a kunoichi and she wanted someone to practice on. "Sasuke-kun! You tried to seduce Sasuke?"

"Yeah," Naruto answered with a shrug. "I needed someone to practice on and I thought if I can get Sasuke to react then I'm pretty good. Of course that didn't work because Sasuke never reacted."

Shikamaru raised an eyebrow at Sasuke and the black-haired male turned his head away from him. Hinata only stared at her for the longest time before shaking her head. What? I'm not the best seductivess if I can't get him to react! Even Neji reacted to me once! She exhaled.

Yaoyorozu just stared at them and then looked down at the book before flushing a light shade of red. "Um Hyuga-san, I don't think you are going to be happy with me if I read the next line so maybe I should—"

'Naru-chan, I just can't do those things! Kiba-kun…"

"That's why you should practise! The mutt wouldn't know what hits him if you flirt with him a little and tease him just a little.'

Hinata flushed a very dark shade of red as the words of their childhood selves echoed in the background. Naruto groaned and eyed Kiba. The brown-haired boy seemed to be frozen in shock while everyone else just gazed at the two of them with raised eyebrows. Naruto cleared her throat.

"Let me remind you that I don't endorse my childhood self behaviour and that I believe that one should be subtle," Naruto declared as her best friend glared at the loudspeakers. "But Kiba is dense and I believe that Hinata-chan had to lay it on thick that she likes him."

Kiba stared at Hinata. "Hinata, do you really have—"

"Yaoyorozu read!"

"So the three of us are going to be working together," Momo declared, letting out a sigh of relief. Naruto bobbed her head, blue eyes focused on the little pervert that had drool leaking out of his mouth. Her female classmate shifted again, her pale hands attempting to cover herself up from the teen's gaze.

"Uzumaki, what are you doing?" Naruto ignored her teammate's question and picked up her male teammate by his cape. If the three of them were going to be working together then it was time for her to let the pervert know who run this show.

She smiled brightly and closed her eyes at the boy. "Sweet, sweet Mineta…if you keep this up then you are going to die a lonely death. No girl is ever going to look your fucking way if you act like a dog. Now get your act together or I will do it for you."

Mineta gulped and clutched his crotch while Kaminari stared at her with a pale face. Bakugou curled his lips into a vicious smirk while Todoroki gazed at her with faint amusement. Narumi looked at her with a smile filled with so much pride while Tsunade bobbed her head at her with agreement.

"Let me tell you of what I did to Jiraiya when he tried to sneak a peak at me," Tsunade said. "I'm sure I can even give a demonstration to every male in the room to show why a pervert won't last in the world."

Narumi tapped the bat against her hand. "I will be more than happy to help with that demonstration."

"I can definitely see that Naruto has Narumi's traits," Masaru observed as Mineta gulped and inched further away from the furious crowd of woman. "It has been nice knowing you, young man and I hope that I won't see you in the next life."

The boy gulped and bobbed his head while Momo shot her a grateful look.

Naruto just wanted to do well in her lesson; she didn't do it because Momo reminded her of Hinata with her lack of self-confidence.

"I miss you too, Naruto-chan," Hinata said with a soft smile playing on her lips. "Even though your memories just spilled the one thing that I have been keeping bottle up from Kiba-kun."

Naruto flinched. "I didn't know that she would do this!"

"Aren't you going to answer me about whether or not you actually like me?" Kiba demanded.

Only Hinata-chan can like someone this dense because isn't it obvious that she likes you? Naruto curled her lips into a scowl and folded her arms against her chest. There was no way that she would date someone as dense as Kiba. She was going to like someone that would understand the social cues and know when she likes him.

Todoroki sneezed again.

He seems to be sneezing a lot.

She blinked and bit back the sneeze that threatened to come out.

'Liar.'

She wasn't a liar because liars knew what was the truth and what was a lie.

Naruto didn't even know what parts of her was her real self and what parts of her was just a lie to cope with what happened.

"That was a dark way to end the chapter," Yaoyorozu commented, turning the page. "But it sounds like you are having an identity crises and that doesn't make you a liar."

Naruto nodded. "I don't know what it means but I'm sure that I'm not having an identity crises."

Yaoyorozu bobbed her head with doubtful eyes and looked down at the book before flickering her eyes at the others. Everyone raised their eyebrows at her. The black-haired girl blinked and then jolted as if suddenly realizing why everyone kept staring at her.

"Right, who wants to read the next chapter?"

A loud squeaky pop echoed in the room and Naruto yelped when Akane appeared in the room. The green-eyed woman quirked her lips slightly and looked almost faintly amused at the sight of her. The blonde blinked and looked down. Shit. Her butt was right now on Todoroki's lap and her future classmate had his hands on her waist.

"I will get off of you!" Naruto said, scrambling back to her seat as Todoroki looked down at his right hand.

Akane cleared her throat. "I didn't master the loudness of using that aspect of my Kekkei Genkei but practise makes perfect."

"Why are you here?" Sasuke demanded.

The green-eyed woman smiled. "I brought some familiar faces here and they have caught up with everything that you have read, while everyone in this room took their sweet time in reading this book. I didn't want to bring them in but someone was insistent that they wanted proof of the future that I spoke. There might be a couple of other people that I can't help but bring in too!"

Naruto blinked.

"Do you want a bloodbath?"

Akane laughed.

"I have already prepared preventions," the woman answered. "All of you don't start reading the next chapter until I bring them here. Ah Akimoto-san, you may need to prepare for that bat and Masaru-san…you may need to run."

Masaru paled.

A/N: So I have stated that Minato and Kushina are going to start appearing in chapter 7, but I believe their reunion might be long so there may be an interlude before resuming to chapter 7. Now here are a couple of questions for you:

Q1: Which characters do you think will appear with Minato and Kushina? Or who do you hope will appear with them?

Q2: Do you think Todoroki and Naruto came a long way from chapter 6 of Nirvana?

Q3: How do you think Minato and Kushina will feel about Todoroki?

Please do tell me of your thoughts on this chapter.
