"I have a really bad feeling about this."

Naruto rubbed the back of her neck and turned her whole body to Hinata. It had been a few minutes since Akane left to bring the new parties into the room and as each minute passed, the more her stomach churned with worry and fear. The woman mentioned kids and some kind of terrifying woman and if she considered her recent behavior, well it was fair to presume that she probably made some mother angry.

"It might not be so bad," Hinata patted her back and offered her a warm, reassuring smile. Naruto could only stare at the Hyuga Heiress with a frown. She knew her best friend was trying to reassure her but even her voice tickled in with doubt as if she wasn't even certain that the people coming in was anything but good news.

Kushina regarded the door. "It isn't going to be bad for Naruto but I have a very good idea of why there might be a cryfest."

"Who do you think might be coming in, Kushina-chan?" Mikoto asked, curling her lips into a frown. Naruto twisted her whole body to face her mother while everyone stared at the red-haired woman with curious eyes. Her mother didn't answer, she only turned to Minato and the Fourth Hokage seemed to have understood the silent message because he paled.

The blond-haired man gulped. "You don't think she might have located your cousin, did she?"

"It has been 15 years since we died and I have never caught sight of him," Kushina explained. She tapped her finger against her jaw and flickered her eyes to the door. "I mean I caught sight of my grandfather, my parents and even Ren-niisan but Kenji-niisan and Asa-niisan are two people that we haven't seen up there."

Minato frowned. "Didn't I tell you that there was a possibility that they might be alive?"

"If they are alive then why didn't they visit me when the war is over?" Kushina said, balling her hands into a fist. Whispers broke out and several of the shinobi darted eyes between each other before inching away from the red-haired woman. "I refuse to believe Kenji-niisan would have allowed me to think he was dead! Or that he wouldn't even have tried to find out if we had a kid. The clan always come first!"

Naruto tuned out her mother and father before focusing her gaze on the blank screen. It would be kind of cool if I have more living family members even if I have no idea on how to connect with them. She pressed her fingers against her neck and then frowned. Would her relatives even like her despite not being a full-blooded Uzumaki?

She was snapped out of her thoughts when a very squeaky pop sound sliced through the air. Her ears screamed and without a second thought, Naruto jumped onto Todoroki's lap. Didn't Akane know how to make that sound less loud? There were certain people in this room who were really sensitive to those kind of sounds.

Todoroki cleared his throat and looked away from her. "Uzumaki, can you get off of me?"

"Sorry, I was just shocked." Her future classmate bobbed his head and the whiskered teen slid herself off of her classmate's lap. At least he didn't think I did it on purpose. It would have been really awkward if he told her that her words didn't match her actions. The boy wouldn't have wrong if he had actually accused her of those things.

Naruto shook her head and looked to the back of room, only to gawk at the sight of a woman who looked like she was an older version of herself. No, she is me. She was the only one with three whisker marks on either sides of her cheeks and they had the same bright blue eyes. The only difference between them was that the woman looked like she was in her early thirties.

The woman stared at her with bemused eyes and Naruto allowed her eyes to drift to the red-haired teen right beside her older self. She looks a little bit like me but there is something about her features that reminds me of someone else. The red-haired teen looked like she was about the same age as her and despite their similar features, the girl had grey eyes.

"I knew it was going to be weird to see my younger self but it actually feels weird." The blond-haired woman commented, fixing her blue eyes on her.

The red-haired teen pulled a face. "Dad and you said you were both young but seeing you as my age makes it real."

"Katsumi, do you think your Dad and me were born adults?" Her older-self asked, raising an eyebrow. Naruto blinked and blinked before jerking her head at this piece of information. Whispers broke out in the room as the red-haired teen shrugged her shoulders. "Your Dad, Uncles and me were teenagers once!"

Katsumi stared at the older Naruto and then shifted her gaze at the teenagers in the room. "I still can't see it and that is why I told Akane-obaachan that I wanted to see this. I don't know why you have to insist in coming here!"

"Because I want to know what my cousin is showing everyone," the older Naruto retorted. Everyone just kept flickering the eyes between the bickering duo before resting their eyes on her and Kushina. The woman just stared at Katsumi with wonder in her eyes while Naruto continued to gawk at the sight before her.

Katsumi shot a sly look to her mother. "Are you just embarrassed at how much you love Dad? Because we all remembered how you and Dad scarred all of us on your anniversary. I was worried you and Dad were going to give us another little brother or sister."

"Four kids is enough for the both of us." Her older-self replied stiffly. "Four is a nice even number, and besides your Dad and I didn't think that you kids were going to make breakfast for us. If we had known about it, then we would have locked the door."

I'm going to have four kids? She felt light-headed and a part of her felt like she might just collapse from the knowledge that she was going to have kids. Not one kid or even two kids, she was going to have four kids. Four kids and she looked like she was in her early thirties. What about her future job? How could she allow herself to get knocked up so early?

"I have four grandkids! Four grandkids and one of them has my red-hair!" Her mother cried. Naruto blinked and blinked before watching her mother rushed to Katsumi. The red-haired woman squeezed the teenager while her father just walked behind her mother with a hesitant look on her face.

Her older-self smiled and looked faintly amused at the interaction while Katsumi threw a look of help to the older Naruto. There has to be a better way to differentiate between us, maybe I'll just call her by my childhood self. Naruto bobbed her head and decided to officially dub her older self as Naru.

"Y-You are an older version of Naruto?" Sakura stuttered. "And you have kids? I thought you didn't want to get married or any of that stuff?"

Her older self shrugged her shoulders. "Just call me Naru and yeah I didn't think I wanted to get married but Katsumi's Dad and me were together for a while so it was only logical that we just get married. Besides, his Dad would throw a fit if we had Katsumi and her brother out-of-wedlock. He wasn't happy when my husband's brother did it even though he spoils his grandchildren whenever my sister-in-law brings them to visit."

"I had twins!" She cried.

Naru nodded and offered her a knowing smile. "Yeah, it scared the crap out of me too when the medics told me that I was going to have twins, but Katsumi and her brother were angels; Sayuri and Kosuke are anything but angels."

Hinata giggled and Naruto shot an exasperated look at her best-friend. How the hell was this funny? Not only did she just find out that she was going to get married in the future but she was going to have four kids. The worse thing is now that I know, do I really want to change that? She always wanted a family and well her future daughter seemed reasonably behaved.

That was the miracle if you asked her.

"Um Naru, Akane told us that your children wanted to see the past," Choji said. Naru blinked and twisted her head around to meet the nervous eyes of the teen. "But I only see one kid, so where are your three other kids?"

Naru grimaced. "Sayuri is only eight and Kosuke is only five! When Akane told me the approximate timeline, well I'm not going to scar my two kids. You know how bad it is for their emotional and mental development? I can't stop Katsumi because she made a very good argument about why she should watch it."

Katsumi wheezed and gently shoved Kushina off of her. The red-haired teen plopped herself onto the floor and rubbed her ribs as Kushina offered a tiny, disappointed pout to her granddaughter. Minato only shook his head while Naruto inspected the red-haired teen, who looked so similar to her.

"I just wanna see how you fell in love with a dork like Dad and how you lasted so long with him," Katsumi shrugged. "No one seems to believe me when I tell them that the two most famous heroes in the world, got together during high school and from what Mina-obaachan told me—you and Dad were anything but subtle."

The blond-haired woman only offered a slight embarrassed smile. "Mina-chan also didn't find out until I admitted that your Dad and me were dating, so I think your Dad and me did an amazing job of being subtle."

Everyone swirled their heads at her and looked almost curious to know what her thoughts might be of the whole interaction. If Naruto was being honest, she had absolutely no idea of what to think of this whole interaction. I meet my future husband in high school. Well that didn't really narrow down the list.

There was another very loud squeaky pop and Naruto jumped up. She clicked her heels together and spurn around, only to drop her jaw just a little bit at the sight of a little bit more muscular Todoroki standing behind her. He looks even better with long hair. His body might be a little bit bulky but that ponytail really did suit him.

She darted her eyes to the right and blinked at the sight of a 15-year-old boy with silvery blond hair and bright blue eyes. The boy had the same facial structure as Todoroki but his eye shape reminded her of someone else. Despite the difference in hair color and eye color, Naruto could definitely say that was Todoroki's son.

The 15-year-old boy stared at her for the longest time before shifting his gaze to the younger version of his father. Naruto frowned when she saw the slight widening of the male's eyes alongside the subtle drop of his jaw. Why the hell does he look so surprised? She frowned and darted her eyes to Todoroki.

Her future classmate looked like he was going to faint just a little bit.

"Mom wasn't kidding when she said that you used to be sullen, brooding bastard," the teenage boy commented. Older Todoroki sighed and looked up at the ceiling like he wanted to know what brought him here. "I mean I already take one look at you and already I can see that you were Mister Grumpy Pants. How the hell did you get Mom to like you?"

"Hard work and determination," Older Todoroki replied. He paused and then continued on. "And how many times did your Mom tell you not to swear, Haku? You know as well as I do that your mother never actually said those words about me."

Haku puffed his cheeks. "Oh come on, Mom said that you had the whole brooding thing going for you and you know what she calls men that brood too much!"

"She was talking about Fuyumi-neechan brother-in-law." Todoroki replied stiffly with a small grimace playing on his lips. Haku looked at his father with disbelief and then shook his head like he didn't believe for one moment that his mysterious mother was talking about his father. "I wasn't that much of a brooding bastard."

Naru shook her head and offered a cheeky smile to the male. "Sorry Shouto but your loving wife would tell you that you had just a tiny smudge of broodiness."

The whiskered teen blinked and blinked before twisting her head to gaze at Todoroki. Her future classmate looked just as mystified as her when it came to their future behavior. At least he isn't going to tell me that he was right about us getting along in the future. But there seemed to be something very intimate about their gazes.

"I thought you disliked Todoroki!" Ino cried, drawing several eyes towards her. "How did you go from disliking him to acting like you're best friends?"

Naru hummed and eyed the book. She exchanged glances with older Todoroki and then answered. "Well time changes things and naturally my relationship with him just changed."

"It wouldn't have changed if I wasn't persistent," Shouto commented.

The woman smiled and Naruto felt the intense desire to look away from them. She didn't know why but there was something different about the way they looked at each other. No, there was an air around them that seemed just as intimate as the air around her mother and father. But that didn't mean anything.

There was absolutely no way that she grew to like him in that way and if she did like him in that way, then how did Todoroki grow to like her? She hadn't been exactly nice to him when she considered everything that happened so far in the book. No, it might be the case that he actually succeeded in being her friend and she grew to like someone else.

That definitely has to be the case!

Naruto vigorously bobbed her head and then blinked when a loud crack sliced through the air. She twisted her whole body around and blinked when she saw three red-haired men and a gray-haired woman. Who the hell are these people? The two older red-haired men gazed at her with wide eyes before shifting their eyes to her mother.

"K-Kushina!" One of the red-haired men choked out. "You are here. Akane told me that she could do this but I didn't think that she would do this! But why do you and that wimpy boyfriend still look so young?"

Her mother smiled thinly and Naruto allowed her lips to curl into a frown. Her mother looked like she wanted to maul the man and judging from the sigh that came out of her future self, she probably understood what their mother wanted to do. The whiskered teen blinked when her adult-self pulled her mother back.

"Naru-chan, let me maul your Uncle Kenji and Asa!" Kushina yelled, clawing and trying to escape from Naru's grasp. "The bastard was alive the whole fucking time and he didn't look out for you! I can forgive Kakashi because he was a child and I already released my anger out on the Third but what your Uncle did is unforgivable!"

The older woman tightened her grip on Kushina and replied with a calm tone. "He didn't know you were dead and to be fair once he did know, he tried to make it up…in his own way. Even if he did know, I doubt that the Third Hokage or even Danzo would have allowed me to live with Kenji or Asa-ojiisan. Besides, don't you want to get to know your niece and nephew?"

Naruto blinked and knitted her eyebrows as her older-self gestured to the gray-haired woman and red-haired man. Kushina stared at them for the longest time before shifting her gaze at a trembling Kenji and Asa. Her violet eyes gleamed with thoughtfulness and after a couple of seconds, the woman shook her head.

"No, I want to hear what those two have to say for themselves!" Kushina barked. Minato shook his head and shot pitying looks to the two men, who looked ready to run out of the room. "My baby had to raise herself and had to be discriminated while those two lived their lives without a single care in the world."

"Mom, could you please and try to see their side of the story?" Naru asked, flickering her eyes to her before shifting her gaze to the future children in the room. Naruto followed her gaze and blinked at the sight of a blank-faced Katsumi. Haku, on the other hand, looked like he had the time of his life watching the blond-haired woman restraint her mother.

Kushina grunted. "Nothing excuses what they did."

"You just need to try and listen what they have to say for themselves, not to forgive them. I just want you to hear what they have to say for themselves and if you are still angry, then they are free game," Naru said flatly. The two red-haired men shot grateful looks to her adult self when the red-haired mother bobbed her head.

Her older-self released her grip from Kushina and Naruto watched with wide eyes as her mother proceeded to drag the two men to the corner of the room. Everyone fixed their eyes on the three Uzumakis, almost curious to see what Kushina planned to do if she found her relative's excuses to be pathetic.

"Will Grams murder Kenji-ojiisan and Asa-ojiisan, Mom?" Katsumi asked, flickering her eyes to the three Uzumaki. Her grey eyes landed on Haku and the teen stilted her eyes at the snickering male. The silvery-blond haired teen held his hands up but his smile did not fade one bit.

Naru regarded Kushina's back and sighed. "Considering the fact that Akane showed her my bad memories, I have very little doubt in my mind that your grandmother is going to kill them because that is what parents do. Remember what your Dad did when Sayuri came back home crying from kindergarten because some little boy tried to pull her pigtails."

Shouto twitched and Naruto could only frown at the older male. That hunch I have is growing stronger. She glanced at Todoroki and noticed that the male also had a frown playing on his lips. It seemed like he also had his doubts about the whole friendship thing between their future selves.

"It must be a father thing," The gray-haired woman mused. Naruto blinked and twisted her head around to meet the violet-eyed woman and green-eyed woman. "My name is Uzumaki Tomoyo and the man beside me is—"

"—I remember now why you look so familiar!" Izuku cried, hyperventilating as his eyes fixed on the red-haired man. "You are Uzushiokage!"

Tomoyo sighed. "Eisuke isn't that great once you know him."

"Tomo-chan!"

The gray-haired woman offered a shrug and darted her eyes to the people around the room. Violet eyes widened just a little bit at the sight of Todoroki before fixating on the two future teens. The frown on the woman's face deepened and the woman kept glancing at her and Todoroki before shaking her head with amusement.

Pop!

Naruto blinked and turned her head away from the curious woman, only to blink at the sight of the new family right in front of her. There was a white-haired woman alongside Todoroki's siblings. I'm guessing that the woman is Todoroki's mother. She shifted her eyes to Todoroki and the boy seemed frozen at the sight of them.

"I know this isn't my business but if you want to talk to them then you should go," Naruto said. Todoroki stared at his mother and shook his head. He looked almost troubled and uncertain about seeing his mother here. She glanced at Todoroki's future son and he seemed almost confused about his father's behavior.

Natsuo cleared his throat. "Can someone explain things to us and why is there an older version of Shouto? And why is Mom here?"

"I will explain things," Shouto said, letting out a sigh.

Todoroki blinked and looked at his future self with such confused eyes. The heterochromatic-haired man offered them a small smile before walking towards them. I wonder how he went from being that to being someone showing so many more emotions. She curled her lips into a curious frown and blinked when Katsumi and Haku stared at her.

Their eyes burned with an innocent curiosity before they looked away from her.

"While Kushina scolds Kenji and Future Todoroki explain to his family, can we decide on who reads the next chapter?" Mikoto asked, flickering her eyes at the two groups on either sides of the room.

Kiba raised his hand. "I will read the next chapter."

A/N: For anyone that is curious; Future Todoroki will be called Shouto and Future Naruto will be called Naru. Dabi will probably be introduced when it is closer to his appearance. The next chapter will see the after-effects and resume to the reading.
