Dog Daze
It was a peaceful night in Dream Land. Everyone was asleep. The monster delivery system was activated and a monster appeared. It resembled a small dog with mustard-yellow skin, a brown nose, small black eyes, and a pale snout. It has two round feet and wore red boxing gloves on its stubby arms. Its name is Boxin. Boxin looked around and began walking around in the castle. A Waddle Dee saw Boxin and pulled out a spear. Boxin saw the spear.
"Boxin!" Boxin barked. It punched the Waddle Dee and sent the Waddle Dee flying to a wall.
More Waddle Dees showed up and tried to attack the monster. However Boxin simply punched the Waddle Dees. As Boxin punched the Waddle Dees, Dedede and Escargoon woke up. They appeared in the hallway where Boxin is.
"What's going on?" asked Dedede.
"Sire look," said Escargoon.
They saw Boxin attacking the Waddle Dees.
"Hey, leave my Waddle Dees alone," said Dedede.
Boxin turned around and punched Dedede and Escargoon. They crashed into a wall.
"That really hurts," said Escargoon.
Boxin left the castle and headed towards the village.
The next day, Kirby, Tiff, Tuff, Fololo and Falala are at the mayor's house. Kirby is playing outside while his friends are helping the mayor and his wife with the chores. As Kirby was playing, he heard a noise in the bushes.
"Poyo," said Kirby.
Kirby headed towards the bushes. Kirby's friends went outside and noticed Kirby looking at the bushes.
"Kirby, what's wrong?" asked Tiff.
Suddenly Boxin jumped out of the bushes, surprising everyone.
"Boxin," said Boxin.
Kirby walked around Boxin and looked at him.
"Poyo," said Kirby.
"Boxin," said Boxin.
They looked at each other for a bit. Then they hugged each other.
"Looks like Kirby made a new friend," said Mayor Blustergas.
"Why don't we take Boxin in," said Hana. "He could be hungry."
"That's a great idea," said Tiff.
Kirby and his friends took Boxin inside the house.
Meanwhile at the castle, Dedede and Escargoon went into the throne room and were contacted by Nightmare Enterprises.
"This better be important," growled Dedede.
"It is," said the salesman. "You see, one of our monsters escaped."
"What kind of monster is it?" asked Dedede.
"Its name is Boxin," said the salesman.
Dedede and Escargoon had a sudden thought.
"Is this monster a small dog with boxing gloves?" asked Dedede.
"Yes it is," said the salesman.
"We saw the monster last night," said Esargoon. "It pummeled us and escaped the castle."
"Oh dear, this is not good," said the salesman. "Boxin needs to train his fighting instincts otherwise it won't be a full-pledged monster."
"How do we train Boxin?" asked Dedede. "Because I'm no petsitter."
"Don't worry, our special toys will train Boxin," said the salesman.
The monster delivery system was activated and a box showed up.
"What's this," asked Dedede.
"These are the toys that will train Boxin," said the salesman. "All you have to do is let Boxin play with these toys and his fighting instincts will awaken."
Back at the mayor's house, Kirby and his friends were feeding Boxin. The mayor had gotten a bowl and filled it with dog food. Boxin wolfed down the food.
"Wow, he sure has an appetite," said Fololo.
BoXin went over to Falala and nuzzled her.
"You're kinda cute," said Falala.
Suddenly they heard a knock on the door.
"I'll get it," said Hana.
Hana opened the door and saw that no one was there. However she found a box on the front step. Hana lifted the box.
"I wonder what is inside this," she wondered.
Hana went back inside. Dedede and Escargoon were spying from the bushes.
"This should get interested," said Dedede. He and Escargoon left and went back to the castle.
Inside the house, Hana showed the box to everyone.
"What's that?" the mayor asked his wife.
"I don't know, I found it on the door step," said Hana.
Hana opened the box. Inside the box was a stuffed animal, a bone, and a tennis ball.
"What's that?" asked Tuff.
"It looked like dog toys," said Tiff.
Tiff pulled out the stuffed animal and set it down. Boxin began punching the stuffed animal.
"Boxin," said Boxin.
Boxin increased his punches and managed to beat the stuffed animal.
"Let's test the other toys," said Tuff.
Kirby and his friends went outside with Boxin. Tuff held the tennis ball.
"Here catch," said Tuff.
He threw the ball at Boxin. Boxin punched the ball.
"Boxin," said Boxin.
Tuff managed to catch the ball. He threw it again and Boxin punched the ball. The ball was thrown back and forth. Suddenly Boxin punched the ball really hard and the ball hit Tuff really hard.
"Ouch," said Tuff.
"Tuff, are you alright?" asked Tiff.
She went to Tuff.
"I'm alright," said Tuff.
Boxin looked concerned for Tuff.
"Boxin," said Boxin.
"Don't worry Boxin, I'm sure that was an accident," said Tuff.
"I'm not sure," said Tiff. "Something doesn't seem right."
"It certainly does," said a voice.
Everyone turned and saw Meta Knight.
"What do you mean?" asked Tuff.
"I'll show you," said Meta Knight.
Meta Knight picked up the bone and gave it to Boxin. Boxin pulled the bone apart revealing a spring inside. He twirled the bone like a nunchuck.
"Boxin!" barked Boxin. There was a vicious glint in his eyes.
Meta Knight drew out Galaxia. "If you want a fight then so be it," he said.
Meta Knight was about to hit Boxin when Kirby stood in front of Boxin.
"Poyo," said Kirby.
He turned to Boxin and calmed Boxin down. Boxin dropped the bone and the vicious glint in his eyes disappeared.
"Boxin," Boxin said confused.
Kirby comforted Boxin.
"Kirby, are you sure you should comfort Boxin?" said Tuff.
"Yeah, those toys might turn Boxin into a monster," said Tiff. She then realized something. "That's it! Boxin is a monster!" said Tiff.
"That might explain the boxing gloves," said Tuff. "But if Boxin is a monster; then how come Boxin doesn't act like a monster?"
"That's because Boxin is a baby monster," said Meta Knight. "These toys were designed to awaken Boxin's fighting instincts."
"Dedede must have sent those toys to turn Boxin into a monster," said Tiff.
"We'll have to get rid of these toys," said Hana.
"Don't worry, we'll take care of that," said Fololo.
He and Falala grabbed the toys and flew off to the castle. They threw the toys into the castle's funace and flew off. Unknown to Fololo and Falala, Waddle Doo saw the whole thing.
"I'd better report this to the king," said Waddle Doo.
Waddle Doo told the news to King Dedede.
"What! They burned the toys!" cried Dedede.
"That's right, the toys are burned in the furnace," explained Waddle Doo.
Dedede grumbled and contacted Nightmare Enterprises.
"What up Dedede," said the salesman.
"Those toys of yours didn't work," said Dedede.
"Yeah, they're burned in the furnace," said Escargoon.
"Sorry to hear that," said the salesman. "Looks like we will have to train Boxin from scratch. We'll send a monster to train Boxin."
The monster delivery system was activated and a monster showed up. The monster resembled a orange dog-like creature with long ears with creamy yellow balled-up fists. It has black sunken eyes, a light brown nuzzle, a dark brown nose, and four black specks on each side of his mouth. It has creamy yellow paws with four brown pads under them.
"This here is Box Boxer, Boxin's teacher," said the salesman. "He'll train Boxin to be a fighter."
The screen shuts itself off.
"Alright Box Boxer, lets go train Boxin," said Dedede.
"Broof," said Box Boxer.
In the village, Kirby and his friends were taking Boxin for a walk.
"Looks like the walk calmed Boxin down," said Hana.
"Boxin," barked Boxin.
Suddenly large footsteps were heard.
"What's that sound?" asked Tuff.
"Look," said Fololo.
Kirby and his friends saw Box Boxer. Next to the monster was Dedede and Escargoon.
"What is that thing?" asked Tuff.
Dedede laughed. "This here is Box Boxer," he said.
Boxin went up to Box Boxer.
"Boxin," said Boxin.
"Broof," said Box Boxer.
Box Boxer picked up Boxin and began juggling him. Boxin seemed to enjoy it.
"Boxin," barked Boxin.
"Looks like Boxin knows Box Boxer," said Tuff.
"That's because they are both monsters," said Tiff.
Box Boxer continued juggling Boxin. Then Box Boxer threw Boxin into the air and grabbed Boxin with his ears. Box Boxer threw Boxin to the ground. Boxin looked up and saw Box Boxer heading toward Boxin.
"Boxin," whined Boxin.
"Broof," said Box Boxer.
Kirby went in front of Boxin.
"Poyo," Kirby said angrily.
Everyone saw that Kirby was protecting Boxin. Box Boxer got mad and jumped. Luckliy Kirby and Boxin jumped out of the way before Box Boxer landed on the ground. Box Boxer ran towards Kirby. Kirby tried to attack the monster but Box Boxer grabbed Kirby. He began to throw Kirby around. Boxin saw Kirby getting hurt and decided to protect Kirby. Boxin leaped into the air and punched Box Boxer.
"Boxin no!" cried Hana.
Box Boxer glared at Boxin.
"Broof," said Box Boxer.
"Boxin," barked Boxin.
The two monsters fought each other. Everyone watched as Boxin attack Box Boxer.
"Boxin may need help," said Tuff.
Tiff then got an idea. "Kirby, suck it up," she said.
Kirby then began to inhale Box Boxer. Box Boxer turned and saw Kirby inhaling. The monster stood there as Kirby inhaled. Kirby got tired and stopped inhaling.
"Oh no, Box Boxer is too heavy," said Tiff.
Box Boxer fired a red energy blast at Kirby. Kirby got hit by the attack. Box Boxer began charging up another energy blast.
"Kirby, suck it up," Tiff ordered again.
Box Boxer fired the energy blast. Kirby inhaled the attack. He transformed into Backdrop Kirby.
"Alright it's Backdrop Kirby," said Tiff.
"Send that monster to obedience school, Star Warrior style," said Tuff.
Kirby dashed and grabbed Box Boxer. He threw Box Boxer around. Box Boxer landed on the ground. Box Boxer got up and headed towards Kirby. Kirby used various wrestling throws on Box Boxer. Kirby did a 'bring it on' taunt thus angering the monster. Box Boxer charged towards Kirby but Kirby grabbed the monster. Kirby jumped into the air and slammed the monster into the ground. The monster exploded. Everyone cheered as Kirby discarded his ability. Dedede was angry.
"Blast it, Kirby defeated my monster," said Dedede.
Boxin glared at Dedede and Escargoon. Then he punched Dedede and Escargoon thus sending them flying. Boxin turned around with a happy expression on his face.
"Boxin," barked Boxin.
"Kirby defeated Box Boxer but what's going to happen to Boxin," said the mayor.
"Boxin will live here," said Tiff.
This made everyone happy.
"You hear that Kirby, Boxin is going to live here," said Tuff.
Kirby and Boxin jumped in the air as they were happy about the news.
"Poyo," said Kirby.
"Boxin," Boxin barked happily.
