Somehow Sina reaches the point where no more tears are left to come. She has lost track of time and doesn't know if it has been minutes or hours since she broke down, but somehow, she manages to breathe calmly again. The pain in her heart hasn't stopped, but it has dulled together with the rest of her – an emptiness is growing inside of Sina and she almost welcomes it because it could be a temporary refuge from suffering.

She feels lost like she has never felt before, and Sina wants to wake up from this dream so badly. How is she supposed to fight on when every part of her is broken and shattered into millions of pieces?

When she closes her eyes, it's easy to imagine that Chishiya is still here. The hoodie is warm from her clasp and it smells so much like him. It'd be easy to feel his lips planting another gentle kiss on her hair, feel his finger touch her hand like it's the most precious thing in the world.

But then Sina opens her eyes, and all she holds is just a piece of cloth. It is nothing more but a vessel of broken dreams and dead hopes. Did Chishiya really think giving her his hoodie would make it easier for Sina? In a couple of days, it won't even bear his scent anymore. It will vanish just like its former owner, leaving nothing but memories.

She manages to climb onto her bed and then just lays there, hugging the hoodie while her eyes stare into nothingness.

It is still hard for Sina to understand. Everything was finally heading into the right direction, as she had been sure that Chishiya was slowly letting her break through his walls. And yet he decided to run away from his feelings in the end.

I have never been able to handle emotions, and I never even cared.

But something has changed. She had managed to make him feel things he hasn't felt before. If it weren't for Sina, he would have just left the Beach without a single word. And yet he came to say goodbye.

Would it have been better for her if Chishiya had just disappeared? If Sina had just found the hoodie on her bed without any further note, only to find out that Chishiya isn't there anymore?

In the end, Chishiya didn't deny that there was something he felt for her. But it wasn't strong enough to make him stay, or to take Sina with him. Despite his last words, she was not good enough for him eventually.

What about Kuina? Will she be still there at last? Or will she be gone too, leaving her all alone?

What use is there to press on when there's nothing left to fight for, when all waiting for her in the end is rejection?

The television screen in Sina's room suddenly lights up, and she forces herself to sit up. Her eyes are swollen from all the tears and it's hard for her to see, and she feels weak. So weak.

Is this supposed to be some kind of broadcast? To announce new rules now that Aguni is the leader? Whatever it is, Sina doesn't want to hear it. She just wants to sleep and don't wake up until this nightmare is over.

The happy sound of chimes rings out from the television, and her eyes widen with disbelief. Could it be… No, that's not possible!

"Thank you for staying at Seaside Paradise Tokyo. As a token of our appreciation, we will now commence a game for all guests in the hotel." It is a male voice announcing the message, and Sina can't hold back a desperate laugh.

It's a game, inside the Beach. And it can't be a coincidence. But why now? She doesn't have the strength for a game tonight. Will she die here now, failing because she doesn't have any hope left, with Chishiya never knowing what happened to her in the end – because of him?

THE GAME WILL NOW COMMENCE.

DIFFICULTY: TEN OF HEARTS.

WE WILL NOW BE EXPLAINING THE RULES. ALL PLAYERS ARE TO ASSEMBLE IN THE LOBBY.

The last card missing – Ten of Hearts. This has to be a bad joke of the game masters. Out of all the games they could have chosen, it has to be a Hearts game with the highest difficulty. Sina can't deny the irony in all this – while the Beach is more torn than ever – while she is more torn than ever – the whole thing even gets a number larger.

It seems like she has no choice but get down to the lobby, because the television stays silent. All it shows is the request to gather, and since this is a game they all are forced to play, she can at least try to clear it. What does she have left to lose anyway?

Out on the hallways, people are shouting and running like crazy. Everyone is heading down to see what this game is about besides the last card missing. Sina waits for most of the players to pass while she puts on the hoodie. It's too precious to just leave it on her bed, even though it is a painful reminder of what she could have had if only things would have gone right.

Sina wonders if Chishiya really has left the Beach already, and she can't decide what would be better. If he was still here, that'd mean he had to play for his life too. If he was gone, then there probably was no chance for her to find him so soon.

The hoodie doesn't fit perfectly, but it is soft and comfy. And it would have kept Sina warm during her nightly conversations with Chishiya, but so did the hugs and cuddles…

She forces herself not to think about that for now as she gets down. It's not possible to hear her own voice as everyone is talking, and someone hands over a phone to Sina because the table is too crowded right now to get through.

Facial recognition soon is finished and everywhere around her sounds the ringing of phones successfully confirming a player, while new players don't stop entering the lobby. Sina retreats to one of the pillars so others won't run her over, as she can see a familiar face standing there. It is Ichika, the woman from the Five ob Clubs game, and she looks as worried as Sina feels. Even though they haven't talked to each other much lately, it still feels good to be near someone she trusts, and Ichika seems to think the same.

Sina doesn't dare to search the crowd for a huge woman with dreadlocks or a light-haired guy with a white hoodie. Right now, she is too afraid to face the possibility that they're both not here anymore, besides it would be impossible to get through the crowd anyway. So even if she caught sight of one of them, there still wouldn't be a chance to reach them.

Suddenly it gets silent inside the lobby, and eyes grow wide at the sight of something that is still hidden from Sina, but she doesn't have to see it to understand.

"Momoka!" She hears a female voice desperately cry out together with another message appearing on youherr phone, and while she has expected many things for a Hearts game, this is even worse.

[GAME] "WITCH HUNT"

THE EVIL WITCH WHO TOOK THE GIRL'S LIFE IS HIDING AMONG YOU. THE WITCH ROLE IS NOT LIMITED TO WOMEN. YOU CLEAR THE GAME IF YOU FIND THE WITCH AND BURN THEM IN THE FIRE OF JUDGEMENT.

TIME LIMIT: TWO HOURS.

The witch who took the girl's life… So there's a murderer on the Beach, and they are still here?

This is bad. Really bad. On top of that, Sina can smell fire, and as she looks outside the windows, a huge bonfire is burning right next to the annex. How could no one notice a bonfire being built and lit with so many people around?

They have two hours to find the witch, but there's no indication how to find them. And on top of that, Sina has a feeling that this will take a really bad ending…

"Find the one who murdered Momoka, then burn them in the Fire of Judgement." It's An who says this, one of the executives, and her voice can be heard without a problem now that it has gone completely silent inside the lobby.

Someone ruthlessly pushes Sina aside, and she sees Niragi making his way through the crowd as she rubs her arm. "A witch hunt? That sounds interesting." That weird guy actually seems to have fun in the current situation, but of course there isn't much of a reason for him to be afraid, with such a huge weapon resting on his shoulder. "All right, let's search for the witch!"

The witch is a murderer, and they are still among them. And if they murdered once, they're most likely not afraid to do it again, so none of them is safe until the witch is dead and burning to ashes. But as long as anyone fears for their own life, people won't trust each other anymore.

A wicked game indeed, and worth the Ten of Hearts with no doubt. Why on earth didn't Sina decide to go for a walk after all?

"You better get somewhere safe." Her heart pauses a beat while burning heat and ice cold pulse through her veins at the same time. This is the last voice Sina has expected to hear, and yet it's the most welcome, because it means that Chishiya is still here. And while she wants to slap him in the face and shout at him for his stupid actions, there's lots of time for that once they're out of this game alive.

She turns around with her heartbeat fastening, but Chishiya is already gone. He seems to be pretty good at leaving Sina alone lately, but she swallows down the frustration as there is only one important thing right now: trying not to burn to death in the flames.

To achieve that, it is the best to get out of this mess before chaos really starts to break loose, so Sina quickly grabs Ichika's arm and pulls her out of the lobby. While she doesn't know yet where to hide and what to do then, there's one thing Sina can tell for sure: She will survive, and she will get back to Chishiya.

So he'd better make sure to survive too.
