Germs everywhere- part 2
julia23602829 asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch3074 "Germs everywhere where Emma's fever gets worse and she deliriously calls Snow mama.
Snow got the rest she so badly needed and sent a still disgruntled Regina on her way. It wasn't exactly fun taking care of two people with projectile vomiting, but Snow was their mother, so she'd do what she had to do.
Whilst Neal seemed to be on the mend, the same couldn't be said for his big sister. Her temperature was only going up. Snow was becoming deeply concerned about that.
"Mama!" Snow heard Emma call out. Snow frowned. Snow still felt privileged when Emma called her mom. If she was calling her mama, something was definitely up. Snow rushed up to Emma's room. She was sitting up in her bed, and Snow could tell immediately that something wasn't right.
"Mama, where's daddy?" She asked. "Has he taken Henry out for more knight training? I do worry about them mama." Emma said. For a moment, Snow didn't even know what to say. Emma was clearly delirious. Snow reached out her forehead and it was clear why: her temperature was through the roof. Then Snow realised where this was coming from. In her delirious state, Emma had gone back to the world the Evil Queen had placed her in from the Genie's lamp. Snow had heard enough from Emma and Regina to put the pieces together. She knew she had to handle this delicately.
"Your daddy and Henry are both fine." Snow said with a reassuring smile. She held the glass of water up to Emma. "Take small sips for me, honey." Snow told her. Emma did as she was told. Snow could get used to this Emma. Not only was she sweet, but she did as she was told without a fight. "Well done. Ok, now you lie back. I'm just going to get a cold cloth for your head." Snow told her.
A moment later, Snow returned and placed the cold cloth against Emma's fevered brow.
"I'm not feeling so great, mama." Emma murmured.
"I know baby, I know." Snow said sympathetically. "Try and get some sleep. You'll feel better when you wake up." Snow told her. Emma nodded, closing her eyes. It wasn't long before she did fall asleep. Snow frowned down at her, hoping she did feel better when she woke up.
