Parents in the night- part 2
Maritza asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch3065 "Parents in the night" where Emma walks in on her parents talking about the curse and so they have to tell her the truth.
"This is becoming unbearable." David said, running a hand through his hair. "How much longer am I supposed to be the bad guy? I didn't break up a real marriage! Kathryn isn't even really Kathryn! I'm married to you, Snow. Why shouldn't we at least be able to be a proper couple here even if people don't remember who we really are?" Charming said, taking Snow's hands. Emma had taken Henry out for ice cream, so Snow had snuck him into the apartment. It had eventually got out that David had split up with Kathryn. Rumours then started flying that Mary Margaret Blanchard was a home wrecker who split them up. How could they all know that technically Kathryn was the home wrecker in this situation? This meant they were having to be even more cautious until things died down.
"I don't think it'll be wrong. Henry thinks there's hope." Snow said, holding her husband close. Of course Henry knew his grandparents were awake. Snow had grabbed him at school and made sure he knew they could help. "I don't like it any more than you do. It's weird pretending that we don't know our friends. It's even weirder pretending our daughter is my friend."
"At least your friends. She hates my guts for making people hate you." David grumbled.
"Emma does not hate your guts. She's just confused. She doesn't see Mary Margaret as someone capable of splitting up a marriage. She doesn't understand why I'm willing to have everyone else turn their backs on me for you. She doesn't understand that we're in love, that we're married. That we're her parents and we just want our family back…"
Suddenly, the curtain separating Mary Margaret's bedroom from the rest of the apartment swished open. Emma was standing behind it, looking horrified. Snow and David both stared at her. How much had she heard? Snow stepped forward.
"Emma, listen…"
"No, I think I've done enough listening." Emma cut her off.
"Emma, we're sorry we never said anything to you. We didn't think you'd believe us." Charming added quickly. "Henry is right, Emma. He's not troubled. The curse is real. We're really your parents." Charming said, stepping forward to join Snow. Emma looked between them both, not sure what to say. This was all too much.
"I…I need some air." She said, storming off. Both Snow and David called after her, but there was no point. Emma wasn't listening. Snow turned and fell into David's arms.
"This is all such a mess." She sighed. "Regina's saw to that."
"She'll see soon enough that we're right." David said, reassuringly rubbing Snow's back. "We were told she'd break it when she turned twenty-eight. We have to believe that." Snow didn't respond. It was hard to believe that when it all seemed so hopeless right now.
