Passed out

Bethanygrace asked for a oneshot of Snowing and Emma snuggling in bed in Storybrooke.

They hadn't necessarily meant to end up the way they did. It had been a very long and busy day. A terrible storm had swept through Storybrooke, destroying a fair amount of the town. Particularly buildings by the coast like the old canning factory. Thankfully, nobody was hurt. It just meant a massive clear up was needed. Luckily everyone in Storybrooke was willing to pitch in to clear up the mess the storm had caused. Even with such a tremendous effort they had barely put a dent in it with most people having worked from dawn until dusk. This meant another long day the next day. Something nobody was looking forward to. Including the Charmings. Of course as the resident royals, they had been at the forefront all day, making sure they were mucking in. Now all three adults of the family were exhausted.

Snow had collapsed on top of her bed after putting Neal down for the night, barely able to move. Emma had flopped down next to her having come through to check if she wanted anything to eat. She didn't have the energy to go back to the kitchen and tell her dad that her mom was already asleep.

When Emma didn't return, David came through to his bedroom and saw both of them sprawled on the bed, spark out. He lay on the other side, fully intending to stay awake until at least one of them woke up from their doze to double check they weren't hungry. He didn't even last five minutes before he too was sound asleep.

Emma shifted in her sleep, she always was a restless sleeper. She moved around, spending some time with her rest resting on one parent's shoulder or chest. Occasionally, the parent at the time would wrap an arm around her in their sleep. All just enjoying the bliss that sleep brought until another hard day's work tomorrow.
