In the mad house

Finchelforever03 asked for a oneshot of Snow being kidnapped by Jefferson after the curse is broken. David and Emma go looking for her and he drugs them both. When Emma wakes up she's tied to a chair and he tells her she has to get him back to the EF or he'll kill both her parents.

Emma's head was spinning. She groaned as she tried to open her eyes without the world spinning along with it. What had happened? She tried her best to piece things together while she was still groggy. Slowly, she started to remember…

Snow had gone out to shoot some arrows in the woods. When she still wasn't back long after nightfall, both she and David began to get concerned. They went to search for her, and were approached by Jefferson. They thought he was going to help, but he sprayed something in both their faces. Next thing Emma knew, she was waking up here. She tried to move her hands, but found them tied down.

"Emma?" A concerned voice came. Emma forced her head up. Her eyes squinted under the light. After a moment, she saw that both her parents were in the room with her. "Emma, are you alright?"

"I've been better." Emma groaned. "Where the Hell are we?"

"My place." Came a voice from the door. All three looked around and saw Jefferson, a gun twirling in his hand. "I think I could use your help, Saviour, and I figured you might need a little motivation."

"Let's not be so hasty." Charming interjected, eyeing up the gun nervously. "Why can't Snow or I assist you instead? Please, leave Emma out of this." Jefferson just laughed.

"Do either of you have magic?" He asked them sarcastically. "No, I need the Saviour for this particular little task." He said. He cut Emma free, but immediately pointed the gun back at her parents. "Don't give me any funny business, Emma. Otherwise it's your poor parents who'll suffer."

"What do you want?" Emma demanded.

"Straight to it, I like it. It's not what I want, Emma. It's what I need. I need you to use your magic to create a portal that will take me back home to the Enchanted Forest. Storybrooke isn't really my cup of tea. It's time for me and Grace to go home." Emma felt her mouth go dry. How was she going to pull this off?

"Jefferson, my magic doesn't really work on demand." She warned him. "It's tricky." Jefferson just laughed and pressed the gun right to David's head. Snow and Emma stayed silent, fearing a knee jerk reaction from the Mad Hatter.

"I think we should at least try." He said in a cheery tone. Emma gulped and nodded.

"Ok." She croaked. "Do you have a hat?" She asked. Jefferson nodded. He removed the gun from David's head and pointed it at Emma instead.

"Let me show you the way." He offered, gesturing for her to leave the room.

"Don't hurt her!" Both her parents pleaded, but they had no way of knowing if he was even listening.

It was an anxious wait for Snow and David. They had no way of knowing if Jefferson would take his frustrations out on Emma if his plan didn't come through. When they heard speedy footsteps running towards them, their hearts started racing. Fortunately, it was Emma alone who came sprinting into the room. She didn't stop to explain, she just began untying them.

"Are you alright?" David asked. Emma nodded.

"Jefferson should be careful where he leaves his sleepy drugs lying around." Emma answered. Snow and David relaxed slightly. At least they were all ok.
