That wasn't as bad as she had thought. All of those bodies, carved up, it was horrible. But she made it. She was sure she would cry but she didn't. She was strong. She had to be. "Hey." She heard a sweet soft voice say to her, feeling a gentle hand on her shoulder. She turned to see professor Blake. "How did you do?"/span/p

"I'm ok. It's different than what I've seen before in school." Blake gave a slow nod. "Yeah. It's much more real now, isn't it?" She have a slow nod in response. "You're doing great. I have complete faith in you. You made some good points in there too." Connors gave a small smile and looked up at her mentor with gratitude. She couldn't believe that the woman she looked up to so much even noticed her, let alone thought she was good enough to join the BAU. The headache began to fade away as she became laser focused on the task at hand. It was time to find a real life monster. She gave a nod to Blake and went to her desk to get her go bag./span/p

He sat down for a moment and took another sip of his coffee. Morgan walked over and placed a water bottle down on his desk. "Drink up my man. I guarantee this will do more good than coffee." Reid looked at him with a scowl and unscrewed the cap. "What happened last night?" He muttered after taking a long sip of water. "You really don't remember?" The look of irritation told Morgan that he had a short fuse today. "All right all right. As far as I'm concerned we all had a great time. We had a few drinks and ate some good food. Me and pretty mama tore up the dance floor and you and Connors stayed in the booth the whole night. You guys really seemed to be getting along. Me and G drank lots of water while we danced but I'm guessing by those sunglasses and way to irritated compared to our normal boy wonder-ness is, I'd say you and Connors skipped the water part and kept ordering Long Island iced teas." Morgan gave a short laugh and a smirk as he recounted last night. "What happened after that?" Reid asked. Me and Garcia took you two home. Pretty convenient seeing as you guys live next door. I brought you to your apartment and you fell into bed and Garcia dropped off Connors in hers." Reid squinted. "You put me in my bed?" Morgan gave a quizzical look. "Yeah man, of course. Why? Did you end up somewhere else this morning?" Reid looked away as his cheeks flushed red. "No I was in bed." He grabbed his bag and walked towards the exit. Morgan paused for a moment and then shook it off as nothing./span/p

She knew she was on a short leash. After the main discussion on the plan and after everyone had received their assignment for when they landed, everyone settled into separate quiet activities until it was time to land. She tried settling into the files to look studious in front of agent Hotchner, but also, she really wanted to make sure she knew this case inside and out. She felt Hotch's eyes on her and she grew ever more uncomfortable under his steely gaze. She began to worry about her appearance. Did she still have bags under her eyes? She collected her things and went to get a glass of water. Instead of returning to her seat, she crossed to the other side of the jet and sat down across Reid./span/p

He looked back down at his novel, even though he wasn't really reading it anyway. His mind was busy desperately trying to recall the events of last night. If Morgan had put him to bed, how did he end up in Connors bath tub? He glanced up at her again and watched her apply concealer under her eyes. He was a bit envious for a moment that she could do that and he couldn't. He lingered at her eyes for a minute, trying desperately to find some sort of answer to last night in her face. She looked up and met his eyes, gave him an uninterested half smile, and returned to looking in the mirror of her compact. She dug through a tiny black bag and pulled out a tube of lipstick. She must not have had time to apply it before, he lips still being muted and pale. She began to apply to peachy rose color and he caught himself enjoying watching the color blush across her lips. Then, his heart jumped into his throat. That was the color on his face this morning./span/p
