p class="p1" style="margin: 0px; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 17px; line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"span class="s1"It was her that had kissed him, and he diddnt even remember it!/span/p
p class="p1" style="margin: 0px; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 17px; line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"span class="s1"He felt a pang of heat rise through him and felt a pang of frustration in his stomach and a pang of guilt in his chest. He was disgusted with himself and with her. He didn't want anyone to touch him, especially not her. Anyone but her. Anyone but Maeve was wrong. He felt like he was cheating. He scowled and his eyes never for a moment pulled away from HER./span/p
p class="p1" style="margin: 0px; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 17px; line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"span class="s1"She finished her lips and felt eyes burning a hole in her face. She looked up at him and met a nasty glare. She frowned and looked back at her compact, checking one last time before shutting it and putting it and the lipstick back in the bag. She looked back up and saw that his eyes had not left her face. She frowned again and met his gaze. The tension grew until finally she broke it by whispering a harsh "What..." To him. He said nothing for a moment, holding his gaze, and then finally, he twisted his mouth to the side and uttered, "Do you remember what happened last night?" Still not looking away. She gave a sigh and slouched back into her seat. "I don't remember much honestly. If I did something or said something rude, I really am sorry." She looked away for a moment and then back at him. She noticed that his gaze had softened now. "What did I do last night?" She asked meekly. He finally broke his harsh gaze and mumbled something to himself. He looked back up and her perplexed expression and put his book down. He looked across the aisle and saw Morgan listening to music on his phone. He leaned in and whispered "what exactly do you remember?" Her face quirked in concentration and she leaned in. "Like I said, not much. I remember us being at the club, and we were having this deep conversation. You were telling me all about your girlfriend. It was pretty cute the way you went on about her actually. Then Garcia was in my bedroom with me. She actually tucked me in to bed. Properly tucking the blankets under me and everything. Then, I heard a knocking at my door and it was you. You said we needed to talk about something important and you looked like you were about to cry. Then everything is fuzzy for a while. The last thing I remember is you said you were going to throw up and you went into the bathroom and never came out. I must have fallen asleep on the couch. How about you? What do you remember?" Reid looked down, feeling his cheeks flush red and hot. "I remember us talking at the club. I was telling you about Maeve." She nodded. "Yeah, I remember. She seems really cool." A tear caught in his throat. "Don't ever talk about her again." He said solemnly. She was taken aback by his sternness, and didn't quite understand, but she gave a quick nod to show she understood his seriousness. /span/p
p class="p1" style="margin: 0px; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 17px; line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"span class="s1"He continued. The necat thing I remember is the color purple. It was in a window I think?" She nodded. "I have a purple stained glass window in my bedroom. You must have been in there at some point." He bit his lip at what he was about to say next. The next thing I remember is sitting on the couch with you. I think... I think you kissed me." Her eyes widened. "No no no no I couldn't have. No no not you." He squinted for a moment trying not to be offended by her reaction. She caught his expression and begin to backpedal. "Oh I diddnt mean it like that, sorry. I mean, you're a very nice looking guy and I mean under different circumstances," she stopped herself from saying anything worse. She saw his look of confusion and let out a sigh. I'm sorry. I only reacted that way because we work together and it's my second day. Plus Hotch has his eye on me./span/p
p class="p1" style="margin: 0px; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 17px; line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"span class="s1"Reid turned from his seat to look at Hotch, who was filling out some paperwork. "Why do you think I kissed you? You remember me doing that?" A now seriousness carrying in her voice. He looked back at her and leaned in again. "This morning I found lipstick smudged on my lips and cheek. It's the same color as the lipstick you're wearing. /span/p
p class="p1" style="margin: 0px; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 17px; line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"span class="s1"She felt her heart sink. She felt so ashamed. "I am so, so sorry doctor Reid. I understand if you want to report me." Her head looked down. She looked utterly defeated. He looked at her and felt sorry for her. He remembered his first few months after Gideon convinced him to join the team. Always afraid of saying the wrong thing or making the wrong call. The heat in his face began to subside./span/p
p class="p1" style="margin: 0px; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 17px; line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"span class="s1""I won't say anything if you don't." She slowly raised her head to look at him. "Are you sure?" He gave a small smile. "It was only a kiss right?" She gave a faint smile back, a blush in her cheeks. "It was only a kiss."/span/p
