Just like mom
Julia asked for a oneshot of Emma dying her hair black and Snow getting emotional because she realises her girl is the spitting image of her.
"Tell me again why it's so important my hair is black, and why we couldn't just get that effect through a wig?"
"Because it wouldn't look natural, especially when we pleat it. Now shoosh." Snow chastised her daughter. Halloween was fast approaching, and Snow had taken it upon herself to decide the family's costumes. They would be going as the Addams family. Snow and David would of course be Morticia and Gomez. Emma would be Wednesday, Henry Pugsley and little Neal would be a little cousin Itt. "It doesn't even matter if you have a sour face on you all night. You'll just match your character better." Snow pointed out smugly. She had thought this plan through. "It's only temporary though. It'll wash out within a week." Snow reminded her. Emma huffed at this. She just wasn't into changing her hair. She liked it!
After a couple of hours, Snow was done. Emma rinsed the excess out of her hair and showed her mom the finished product. In response, Snow stared at her in awe.
"Are you that proud of your work?" Emma teased her. Snow shook her head.
"Well, not your hair anyway." Snow said. She lead Emma over to a mirror and pointed at it. "Emma, sweetie, with your hair black you look just like me." Snow said. Emma stared into the mirror. How had she never noticed this before?
"Woh." Emma agreed. "This is freaky!" She never really realised how much she looked like her mom. She thought she was more a mix of both her parents. In reality, she still was. Her blonde waves made her look more like her dad, there was no doubt about that. Just with black hair, the resemblance to her mom was uncanny.
