Making snow angels

A guest asked for a oneshot of Emma teaching Neal how to make snow angels and Snowing watching.

"Brr, it's cold Emmy!" Neal commented as he sat down in the snow. Emma smiled. Her little brother was the one person she allowed to call her Emmy without chewing them up and spitting them back out.

"I know kid, snow always is." She told him. "But we need to lie down in it to make a really good snow angel. So have you got your hood up?" She checked. Neal nodded, patting the back of his own head just to make sure. Emma then lay back with her arms and legs spread wide in the snow for her little brother to see. "So to make the perfect snow angel, you just need to wave your arms and legs. A bit like if you were a bird and you were trying to fly." Emma explained. She demonstrated for her brother and then got up to review her finished work.

"Awesome!" Neal shouted, looking over. He quickly lay back and made his own little snow angel next to his sister's. He then got up and stood beside her. He clapped excitedly, proud of his handywork.

"Good job, buddy." Emma praised her brother, giving him a high five. Neal grinned, looking at the two snow angels. He then looked up at the snowflakes coming down in flurries. He stuck his tongue out and caught one. Emma laughed and copied him.

Snow and David smiled warmly from the porch. They often felt guilty for both Emma and Neal that they were denied a proper sibling relationship because of their age gap. Then moments like this happened, and the parents were reminded that just because they were three decades apart didn't mean they couldn't share the same experiences as any other brother and sister.
