Don't own anything. Hope you like it. This is if Percy had been left behind in the Titans curse... but snuck out. Percy's nightmares. Enjoy!

"But..." I cry. "We will not have a male hero on our quest." Zoe says. I feel like crying. I can't save Annabeth. I can't. I look into her eyes, hoping for sympathy. I only find coldness. "But Annabeth..." tears stream freely down my face now. "Doesn't need a boy to save her." Zoe finishes. I scream, and burst through the doors of the big house. The fresh air feels cool against my face as I run through the snow. All campers look at me, but there aren't really enough durning the winter season for me to be self conscious. I let out another scream. The tears are frozen. I stomp out to the sword fighting arena. Maybe I can find peace there. I take riptide out of my pocket, and take the lid off, and it turns into a full blown celestial bronze sword. I slash at the dummies until nightfall, infuriated enough to not even use any water.

My mouth is dry and my shirt is soaked in sweat. I can feel myself getting better; maybe even as good as Luke. "Hey, Percy, I'm sorry." A girl's voice cracks. "Whatever Thalia." I continue beating up the dummies. "I should've said something." This time I look right at her. "Whatever. Zoe wasn't having it." I look into her eyes, wet and red from crying. "I understand. Hunters, no boys... blah blah blah." My chin crinkles and Thalia's bright blue eyes water up again. "I hate her." Thalia grumbles. "Stupid hunters... you're not even allowed to save Annabeth! And the Phoebe thing! Four people! And Zoe's all like, okay, let's just ignore the Prophecy and only go with four! What's the logic in that!" She rants angrily, and I know she's mad. "It's alright." I start fighting with the magical dummies again. "Percy..." I hear another voice.

Grover.

"It's alright. Go away." I say without looking at him. "Time for dinner." Grover says. I run to the dimming pavilion, determined to murder Zoe. I run to the Poseidon table, throwing some grapes and stuff to my dad. I scarf down my food, and run to my cabin. I climb on my bed, breathing in the salty air. I look at the dented shield. It looks like I have a dent in my head. I wonder if Tyson can fix it. I take out Annabeth's Yankees cap. I put it on, trembling at touching something that's hers. She's got to be alive.

She's got to be.

"Let's go." I hear a whisper outside of the door. I know this is Zoe. She isn't really the best at keeping quiet. I debate wether or not I should go and follow them. "Hey, boss." I hear a voice inside my head. "For the last time blackjack, don't call me boss!" I yell whisper. "Whatever you say, boss." I hop down from my bunk. "Something tangled in a net." Blackjack says inside my head, yet again. "Not in the mood." I pull the covers over my head, groaning. Why now? I groan, as if I'm listing to Justin Beaver. "Percy..." he says. I open the door, standing there in my gym shorts and t-shirt. I run over to the water. I don't know how deep I swam, or how far. I know the pressure should crush me, and I've never tested my limits. I have a feeling this will be the last time I'll see this part of the ocean for a while. Then, I hear a "mooooooo!" I see silvery rainbow tails glittering. I tell the Hippocampi to back off. I pulls out my sword, but the cow screams. Well, moos. I work, untangling the net, pushing the ship. Lazy fisherman.

The cow is finally free. I've decided to call it Bessie. I see a fishtail and smile. I have no idea what this creature is called, but I pat it's head. "Bye." I say, smiling. I zoom up and out of the water. Blackjack catches me on his back, and I must feel nice, because my clothes are still dry. "Good job, boss." Blackjack says. "It's Percy." I say. "And, landing." Blackjack says. I put the Yankee cap on. "Go!" I tell Blackjack. He seems to understand. He follows four figures into the woods. I can barely make them out, we're flying so high. The height makes me uneasy. "You should get some sleep," blackjack tells me. I obey, falling asleep on his back.

"Can we get some doughnuts?" Blackjack asks. We just landed. "Sure. Go raid Dunkins or something." I tell him. He licks his lips, and I hear a couple people scream. "Bye." I bitterly wave my hand. Without Annabeth, what's the point?

"PERCY!" I hear a girl scream. I turn to see Thaila, waving her hands everywhere, her head sticking out of a window of a white van. "Percy!" I hear Grover yell. Someone skids to a stop. "What?" I hear a young voice question. Must be Bianca. "There is no ignoring thee, is there." A girl that must be Zoe grumbles. "Hop in Percy!" I hear Grover yell. I run, but Zoe is already going. I run as fast as I can, which is pretty fast. Soon, I catch up with them. I hop in through the window. "Wow." Grover says. I chuckle. "Well, how flattering." I look at Zoe, who is glaring at me. "You are the fifth..." Zoe sighs. "There is nothing I can do about it." I grin. "Just go." Thalia says. I nod my head, agreeing.

I wake up screaming, calling for Annabeth. In my dream, she's been caught by Gabe. So has Thalia. And I can do nothing. "Percy?" Thalia asks. I scream again, tears running down my face. "IT WAS YOU AND HER!" I scream. Thalia runs over to me. "What do you mean!" Thalia asks me. I scream. She embraces me in a hug, and I sob. "It was you and her. Gabe!" I mutter. She puts her hands on my shoulders and shakes me. "Who is Gabe?" I reply, I rip my shirt off. She gasps, looking at multiple scars and whip marks. I look into her eyes. "He caught you two." I sob again, and her eyes widen. She hugs me again. I guess that takes some bravery, considering I don't have a top on. "Let's go," she looks around. We had this help from a homeless guy, and now we've got a ride. I put my shirt back on. "I'm sorry." She mutters again. "It's okay." I say. My head spins. "Go back to bed." She orders. I pull the covers over my head, and go back to bed.
