Yagi clenched the pants of his oversized suit as the first event was about to begin. His bright blue eyes scanned the crowd of first years, looking for a familiar head of blonde hair, as well as earthy green curls. Feeling his palms begin to sweat, he rubbed them roughly on the fabric of his suit pants.

Come now All Might, there's nothing to be worried about, the children will be fine, no matter what…they will be fine…. He chanted silently to himself until he felt a metal covered hand grip his thin shoulder.

Glancing around him, he saw Thirteen on his left, along with snipe joining in on his other side.

"Why so concerned All Might? your daughter will be just fine." Thirteen's stoic voice explained, though the reassurance didn't really come across very well despite his effort.

Yagi, ever the people pleaser, forced a smile to his face and nodded, hoping that would be enough to not have to delve into a full blown conversation at that moment.

"Of course Thirteen, you are right…." He pressed his lips into a strained smile.

"START!"

Present Mic's voice screeching over the speakers distracted Yagi, and he witnessed the stampede of first years racing forward, though most of them bottle necking at the very small entrance. The seasoned hero attempted to locate his children once more with his sharp eyes, but failed to see them.

Then suddenly, he could see a blonde haired girl, along with a pinked tinted youngster, soaring through the air. Toshi felt himself perk up then, a quiver of a genuine smile appearing on his face.

There's my little one! With young Ashido hanging off her I see. Not a bad idea to blast herself upward with her quirk to get over the crowd of students pressing at the entrance of the obstacle course.

Toshi winced at her hard landing on Mineta, then chuckled to himself as she gave Mineta a very All Might-esque salute as thanks. Yagi then hyper focused in on her, noting to himself her fighting stance and dodging techniques while simultaneously trying to find Izuku, but not being successful for the time being. The number one hero watched her weave her way through the 0 point robots until she was nearly out of sight, and he had to purely rely on the mega screens, hoping to see a glimpse of her at some point.

He released a sigh from his chest as he felt a bit of tension leave him finally, glancing down at his lap he closed his eyes peacefully for a moment, soaking in what he had just witnessed until Present Mic's voice startled him once more, causing a spatter of blood to spurt from his mouth.

"LOOK AT CLASS 1-A'S YAGI GO! SHE'S WILLING TO DO WHAT IT TAKES! GO LITTLE LADY GO!"

The crowd roared then, and Yagi felt a surge of pride go through him as he wiped his mouth with a napkin, leaning forward in his seat to see his daughter on the screens of the stadium.

She was so small when I brought her home, just a slip of a girl, and now she's an athletic young hero in training, my goodness look at the confidence exuding from her! Toshi grinned widely, watching his daughter leap forward from robot to robot.

Suddenly, Minami lost her balance, skidding forward and falling harshly on one of frozen bots. Yagi cringed at the pain going across her face on screen; the crowd collaboratively cried out at the hard hit,

Seeing Minami stumble up and hobble off, Toshi released another breath that he was holding, feeling relief that she stood up.

Snipe chuckled loudly, the garbled noise startling Toshi who forgot he was there, his approval showing as he clapped Toshi firmly on his right shoulder,

"See All Might!? She's a tough little varmint, y'all got nothing to worry about!"

Yagi raised his eyebrow at Snipe's choice of words,

Doesn't varmint mean a pesky creature in English? I'm not even going to ask…

Feeling another tap on his left shoulder, Yagi internally sighed, but pushed forth an All Might-like smile as Thirteen began speaking to him, even if all he really wanted to do was track both his children's progress in the first game.

Suddenly a series of explosions attracted the teachers' attention; all heads swiveling up to look.

Yagi's blue eyes shifted to the screen, and saw Izuku flying over the pack by utilizing the explosions.

Feeling excitement churn through his body, Yagi leaned forward eagerly staring at the screen, ecstatic he finally located his heir.

Come on my boy, yes, you can do it, Toshi chanted to himself, ignoring the cheering and shouting that was exploding around him.

AND THE ONE WHO MADE IT BACK TO THE STADIUM FIRST IS…NONE OTHER THAN IZUKU MIDORIYAAA!

Yagi hollered and jumped to his feet triumphantly.

"That's my boy!" he shouted triumphantly as he is finally for the first time able to make eye contact with one of his children. When Izuku's watery green irises connected with his from the field along with his bright smile, he felt a slight stirring of emotion in his chest.

My boy….

Yagi grinned back at him,

You gotta stop crying so much kiddo!

Toshi heard someone clearing their throat. Turning around, he saw Snipe grinning stupidly at him; it was no secret that Izuku was definitely his favorite student.

Yagi felt a blush briefly come to his face at how silly he must have looked leaping up in his excitement like a school girl. He cleared his throat, taking his seat once more, and looked back at the field and saw a familiar blonde girl enter the stadium. He smiled once more, waving at her in an attempt to get her attention.

However, her flaxen colored head never turned in his direction despite his attempts. A pout appeared on Toshi's face, wanting nothing more than to let his girl to know how proud he was of her at that moment.

Looking around, the number one hero found himself alone in the teacher's suite, noticing his fellow faculty members had left him for the brief intermission, likely to go get snacks. He rubbed his hands over the slacks of his suit once more, still riding out the adrenaline rush from seeing his two children do well.

Sighing to himself contently as he was finally alone with his thoughts, Yagi found himself mulling over strategy as to how Minami and Izuku could succeed in the next round, until he felt a hand surprise him from behind on his shoulder.

Glancing behind himself, he came face to face with Gran Torino, causing his heart to jump in his chest. Yagi snarled in response to the perpetrator.

"Kuso! How do you keep appearing out of thin air like this?" Yagi slapped his hand over his racing heart as he glared daggers at the older man, annoyance flowing through him at having such a lovely moment interrupted.

"Why the long face boy? Can't you see how well our kids are doing? In fact, little sprout may give the boy there a run for his money before all of this is said and done!" the old man cackled,

"Your kids? They're MY kids…" Yagi growled, feeling a possessive feeling rip up from his gut.

"Well, if they're your kids, I guess that makes me their grandpa," the old man crowed, delighting in the fact that he was irritating the number one hero.

Toshi grumbled something under his breath, choosing not to respond directly.

"Look sharp boy! The second event is about to start!" Gran Torino cried and he leaned forward, pointing down to the field, dangerously encroaching into Yagi's personal space while Toshi folded his arms and rolled his eyes, ready to be rid of the older man.

"And now, onto the second event! Cavalry battle!"

Minami looked up at Midnight at the podium as the crowd erupted into another cheer.

Behind her on the mega screens was an image of All Might being hoisted up on the back of the hero 13, with Present Mic supporting him. She snickered at the image

Dad's no featherweight! Mic's arms must be nearly ready to snap off!

Around her the surviving students chattered and theorized how they were going to choose teams, or defeat others in the game. Glancing back up at Midnight, she looked nearly ready to explode in irritation at the amount of children not listening to her.

"SILENCE! I'M NOT DONE EXPLAINING IT!" Midnight cracked her whip in frustration, shutting up the students quickly

"Each of you has been assigned a point value based on your ranking in the last event. So the point value depends on the members of its team. Your individual point values start at 5, so the student who took 42nd place is worth 5 points, and 41st is 10, and so on."

Minami immediately began counting on her fingers,

So that makes me….165 points right? maybe? She sweated to herself; math was not her strong suit.

"The match will last 15 minutes, and each team's points are determined by their members. The rider will wear a headband displaying the total number of points, and you'll all compete to grab each other's points! The more headbands you have, the harder it is to maintain, as they must be worn around the neck of the rider or higher!" Midnight continued on,

Minami looked at the display and giggled as it showed her father juggling more and more headbands until you could barely see his stark blue eyes and bushy blond eyebrows.

"However, our first place participant is worth….10,000,000 points!"

The students around Minami gasped, and her jaw dropped at that amount of points.

Well that makes going after other people's points basically worthless… She surmised to herself.

"The higher ranked students are the ones to aim for…this survival game is a chance for a comeback. The game isn't over til it's over! And it's anyone's game!"

The crowd cheered at that, but none of the first year students cared. In fact, they all only cared about one thing as everyone put two-and-two together.

All heads swiveled to look at Izuku with a predatory stare; their faces practically salivating at the opportunity of snatching away all his points which would guarantee victory.

Minami winced as the rest of the students were looking at her pseudo-brother like fresh meat.

Oh shit….This is going to turn into a blood bath!

Midnight allowed the information to sink in before finishing up the terms of the game, "Quirks are allowed, so it'll be a brutal battle! However, maliciously attacking another team with the intent of making them fall will get you a red card! And that means you're out of the game! You've got 15 minutes to form your teams, begin!" the sexy heroine cracked her whip several times to signify she was done explaining the terms, and the crowd roared in excitement once again, eager to see the outcome.

Immediately everyone was scrambling around Minami, haggling with eachother, trying to pick teams. She glanced over to where Shoto was completely surrounded by various female students who were eager to be on his team, many of whom she didn't recognize,

Shoto came in second place , if I team up with him, with our combined firepower we could definitely get into the third round….Minami contemplated to herself as she stood there weighing her options for a few seconds. Looking behind, she saw Mina speaking to Bakugo

It would be even better if I can get Mina to team with me…

"Mina!" Minami called and she waved to the girl, getting her attention. Said fuchsia colored girl turned and grinned.

"Be on my team, together we'll dominate," Minami grinned as she clenched her fist,

"Sure girly, but you see, I already agreed to be on another team, but I don't think they'll mind if you ask to join!"

"Who's team?" Minami's eyes narrowed in suspicion, knowing she hadn't been close enough to Shoto to ask him.

"We don't have room for you on my team Gaijin!" Bakugo shouted as he saw Mina attempting to convince Minami to join. Minami pieced together the puzzle and realized that Mina had joined Bakugo's team. She scoffed in disbelief before responding back to the angry boy.

"Who said I wanted to be on your team fuckface?! I wasn't even talking to you!" Minami snarled back as she stepped forward, her own face only within a few inches of his.

"Chill! Chiilllll! I know I'm just SOOO amazing that anyone would want to team with me, but you're both just going have to fight for me I guess!" Mina grinned a cheesy smile, which grated on the nerves of both Minami and Bakugo, who turned and screamed at Mina simultaneously, their eyes burning with murderous intent

"SHUT UP!"

Mina sputtered another laugh and backed up a few more steps, raising her hands as if to wash herself of the volatile situation, but not before throwing a little more gasoline on the fire.

"You know, you guys always fight with so much passion, it's almost as if you two have a crush on each other," Mina finished the comment off by making kissing noises as she waggled her eyebrows.

Shocked by the very idea, the two children glanced at each other before making repulsed faces.

"Oh Gross Mina! How could you even think I'd have a crush on this baboon!?" Minami squeaked out, indignant that her friend could even consider it.

"Who are you calling a baboon you blonde bimbo?!" Bakugo shouted at her, his face was beat red, but whether it was from embarrassment or anger, it was impossible to tell.

Anger flared wildly in Minami at the insult, and without thinking she slapped him across the face. Bakugo barely even flinched, and instead puffed out his chest, refusing to back down. Minami stood her ground as well, forgetting about the task at hand to select team members, her own pride refusing to forfeit. The two teens stared each other down, panting ever so slightly as their tempers were flared. At that moment the word of reason, Iida, stepped in to break them up.

"What are you two doing?! Get with your teams! You're acting as terrible representatives for class 1-A!" Iida seethed as he waved his arms around.

Minami growled lowly as she snapped out of it, the first to look away as she took a tentative step back. Bakugo smirked in victory at her movement, and turned to walk away, not needing to stay another word.

Minami turned fully then and stomped off, feeling grateful that the other students were still selecting teams. But, she paused momentarily and glanced behind her, and couldn't help but to try and see what Mina had implied. Noticing Bakugo's hard, muscled arms, and the outline of his abs under his shirt, a blush tinted her cheeks as she felt an unfamiliar heat stretch out across her body. She still couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to touch those hard muscles, or what he smelled like; not realizing the seed had been planted by Mina.

Looking at the boy shyly, she could have sworn she saw him glance in her direction momentarily as well, before a blush spread across his cheeks. As quickly as it came, he sneered at her and turned away, focusing on his teammates.

Minami turned back around fully and slapped her cheeks slightly, snapping herself out of it and getting herself back into the game mentally. Glancing ahead, she saw Izuku standing by his lonesome, looking defeated, and not surrounded by teammates.

As Minami approached, she saw Ojiro quietly turn Izuku down, causing the green haired boy to become flustered. He looked up as Minami approached him, his eyes hopeful.

"Hey Izu, I'll team up with you!" Minami grinned

"Yeah! Me too Deku!"

Izuku's eyes flooded with tears, "Min-chan! Uraraka! You guys mean it?! Everyone will probably come after me for my points though!" Izuku explained, determined to make sure both girls understood what this would mean.

"Yeah, but you'll win if you just run away," Uraraka replied. Minami nodded in earnest, grinning.

"Besides, we like teaming up with friends! Right Uraraka?" Minami grinned at the petite girl, who smiled back,

"Definitely!" the brunette agreed, causing more tears to well up in Izuku's eyes. He rubbed them away furiously,

"You guys have too much faith in me.." he sniffled, he then scrunched his face up in a manner that made him resemble a constipated old man. Minami cringed at the look, and tentatively glanced over to Uraraka who seemed confused.

"What's wrong? You got all ugly!" she commented seeming concerned.

Izuku released the taught face he was making and brushed it off,

"I'm ok! Now let's see if we can get Iida to join us, it'll be the perfect team!"

Before they all could walk to Iida, Minami felt a strong tap on her shoulder, and came face to face with heterochromia eyes. Her own azul eyes widened.

"Shoto!" Minami commented, forgetting momentarily about her plan to join with the fire and ice boy until he was staring her in the face. Turning back, she waved Izuku and Uraraka ahead.

"Minami chan," he smiled tentatively before continuing, "Partner with me on my team, and I'll show you what a great team we would be," his voice was smooth like velvet, nearly hypnotizing.

She grinned at the boy, wanting nothing more than to join him, and hoped what she suggested next would go over well with him.

"I'd love to Shoto! But I've already agreed to team up with Uraraka and Izuku! Join our team to complete it!" Minami grinned, hoping against all hope that he would agree.

Her hopes were dashed when a bitter look went across his face mentioning that she was teamed up with izuku,

"No way Minami-chan, that would be a terrible idea to combine so many points together like that. Besides, he can't be as good of a teammate like I can," he leaned in to explain his reasoning, softly grasping her hand which sent electric jolts down Minami's arm, but not before glancing over her shoulder with hardened eyes at Izuku.

"You'll have to choose Minami-chan, me or Izuku for this game,"

Minami clenched her jaw at his statement, but already knew her answer,

I'm NOT backing out from Izu, I already promised him that I would be on his team…Shoto will just have to understand….

Minami shrugged her shoulders as she responded, "Sorry Shoto…but I already said yes to Izuku. If you had asked sooner I would have teamed up with you otherwise…"

An upset look appeared on Shoto's handsome face as he released Minami's hand. A pit formed in Minami's stomach at the action, her hand suddenly feeling cold.

Glancing back in the fire and ice boy's eyes, Minami was startled to see a fiery look similar to what she had saw not too long ago when he and Izuku had argued.

"Very well, Minami-chan, but don't expect me to go easy on you…" he grumbled, clearly displeased at Minami choosing Izuku.

Minami's eyebrows raised at his words, and she felt a competitive flame build up within her as well.

So what? Just because he's the strongest in the class he thinks it's going to be easy to win? That's not fair to think so little of your classmates! Minami growled to herself, not liking Shoto's arrogance.

"Well, you can expect the same from me, I'll be giving it my all out there too Shoto…" Minami nodded back at him before turning around to go join Izuku and Uraraka, not wanting to stare at the disappointed look in Shoto's face any longer.

Approaching Izuku and Uraraka, she saw Iida was not in tow, but instead Tokoyami.

"Didn't get Iida, but Tokoyami instead?" Minami questioned,

Uraraka spoke up, "Yeah, Iida said he sees Deku as a rival, so thought it was a good idea to do this without us…" She said disappointed, but then realized she may have sounded rude to Tokoyami, "But it's ok! Because we have Tokoyami and he's gonna be great!" she pushed forth both her hands then in the form of thumbs up then, hoping it convinced Tokoyami that he was well appreciated.

Minami nodded in understanding, and at that moment glanced back over to where Shoto stood. A crown of black hair stepped into view next to the half and half boy. Momo stared back at Minami with a triumphant smirk on her face. Minami sneered back, unhappy to see that Momo had sunk her claws into Shoto.

I wonder if that cow knows that Shoto came to me first before settling for her. Minami thought spitefully as she continued to shoot her own dagger eyes back at the dark haired girl, feeling her imaginary hackles raise until she felt Uraraka's small hand push her shoulder.

"Your 15 minutes are up! Time to get started!" Midnight announced into her microphone, and the crowd roared with anticipation.

"Minami chan! Hurry we need to make our formation, Midnight is gonna start the next event soon!" Uraraka's rushed form grabbed the blonde by her forearm and drug her back to where her other 2 teammates were ready to go. She glanced at Izuku who gave her a thumbs up while he tied the headband onto his forehead that contained their teams points. Once the knot was tied, Izuku directed Minami and Uraraka into place. Following his orders obediently, she allowed him to move her to his left side, and Uraraka to his right, with Tokoyami in his front.

Finishing their formation, the green haired boy took his place as the rider and looked down at his teammates, forcing a grin to his nervous features,

"Min-chan, you're our fire power, keep people away. Uraraka-chan, you'll be our defense. Tokoyami kun, you'll need to be our horse, we'll need your help to keep us moving and to defend and offend as needed!"

In the background Midnight began her count down,

"Three!"

Uraraka suddenly realized something,

"Deku wait! Did we decide our strategy?!"

Minami startled as she realized that problem too,

"Two!"

Izuku hummed for a second before shouting out the strategy

"We're gonna run!"

"One!"

Minami nodded to herself, humming as she felt her quirk reaching through her whole body. Glancing over across the arena, she saw Mina waving stupidly at her, trying to get her attention. Seeing Minami's blue eyes fix upon her, Mina snickered as she gave her a middle finger, goading her on. Minami barked a laugh and returned the gesture with her free hand.

"START!"

The stadium cheered as members of the public and heroes alike leaned forward, eager to see what the next generation of heroes had to offer.

Almost instantly the rest of the teams rushed Minami and her teammates, wanting nothing more than to guarantee their victory by grabbing the hefty amount of points tied to Izuku's forehead in ribbon form.

Minami grimaced at the fast attack from her peers, using her free hand to send forth a line of energy blasts into the ground, creating a cloud of dust.

Hopefully that'll give us a few seconds of time….

"Uraraka! Make us float!" Mimami called out. The brunette girl looked conflicted for a moment, then determination filled her eyes.

"All right, I'll try!" puffing up her cheeks like a puffer fish, and suddenly, they were 20 feet above the other teams. The crowd oohed and aahed.

"LOOK AT THAT IMPRESSIVE CONTROL BY CLASS 1-A'S URARAKA!" Present Mic bellowed over the speakers while they slowly floated down to the other side of the arena. Minami glanced over to the brunette and saw her face turning an interesting shade of green; Minami grimaced.

Please, please don't puke on me Uraraka chan…

Landing lightly on their feet, the team turned to see Shoji charging them like a bull. Uraraka had caught her breath and commented out loud at the peculiar sight.

"He looks like he's alone? Where's the rest of his team?"

Beginning to run away, Minami was suddenly tripping over her own feet. Looking down, she realized her shoes were stuck to the ground by purple looking orbs. She recognized those purple sticky balls anywhere. A sneer of annoyance crossed her face.

"Mineta! Where is that little freak!?"

And at hearing his name called, the tiny pervert peeked from the center of Shoji's wings that were currently cradling him. The headband of points just barely visible on his forehead.

"Is that even legal?" Tokoyami commented somewhat sarcastically as he attempted to use Dark Shadow to peel Minami's shoes from the sticky orbs.

"It sure is legal!" hearing the falcon-like boy's comments, Midnight commented into her mic, cracking her whip in excitement as Shoji neared closer.

Suddenly, a familiar looking froggy tongue darted out from the confines of Shoji's wings. Izuku leaned to the side to dodge the attack, instead inadvertently directing the tongue towards Minami's face, where the pink appendage whipped her across her cheeks.

Minami ground her teeth, feeling grossed out at someone licking her face. The tongue retracted back, and Minami could hear Tsuyu croak out an apology above all the chaos.

Panicking at their proximity, Minami only saw one way for them to escape without them leaving her behind, and potentially forfeiting the match. She deftly slipped her feet from her shoes that were still stuck to the ground.

"GOO! RUNN!" Minami yelled and she felt her team move just in the nick of time; Dark Shadow shot out at Tokoyami's command to block Shoji's team's attempts at snatching their points.

Trotting forward as fast as they could, suddenly Bakugo was in their face screaming like a banshee as he was suspended in air by Sero's tape.

Minami felt a spike of anger go through her, wanting to get the obnoxious blond back and give him a taste of his own medicine for once. She shoved her hand into his face,

"Die!" she yelled, mocking his trademark attack, sending a large blast in his face which sent him flying back towards his teammates as he clawed as his face; small burns were already apparent on his chin and cheeks.

Minami grimaced a bit at the after-effects, thinking the volatile boy would have protected himself more.

A whistle was blown for a brief timeout; the timer of the game was paused momentarily.

Bakugo rubbed at his face, groaning in pain at the small burns. A young medic ran onto the field and began pouring a bottle of water on his face, handing him a towel for him to dab afterwards.

"OOOHHH, WHAT AN AGGRESSIVE ATTACK BY YAGI! THOUGH IT SEEMS NO PENALTY IS BEING RULED AT THIS TIME," the crowd booed at the rough attack, and Minami looked down at her socks in embarrassment and shame, wishing she could just disappear into the ground, not wanting to be seen as the bad guy.

Midnight spoke into the mic quickly "I'll allow it, but anymore targeting attacks Yagi, even accidental, you'll be ejected from the tournament!" The crowd cheered at that.

"AND THERE YOU HAVE IT FOLKS, NO DIRTY TACTICS ALLOWED!"

Tossing the towel back at the medic, Bakugo sneered at Minami. The blonde girl gulped at the absolutely murderous look on his face.

The whistle blew again, and the game was back on.

Tokoyami scowled at Minami, turning back to look at her.

"Learn to keep your quirk under control stupid! You almost cost us our position," He barked angrily,

"I'm sorry ok!" With tears brimming in her eyes, shouted back at Tokoyami, and she began moving her feet again as she angrily scrubbed her eyes with one hand, forcing the tears back down to focus on the match.

"It's ok Min-chan! We just have to keep going a bit longer! You're doing great!" she felt Izuku squeeze her shoulder briefly from above, which made Minami feel a little bit better as she sniffled her tears away.

"Yeah! And it was pretty funny to see you put Bakugo in his place, you know," Uraraka giggled from her side, Minami glanced over and could see her warm, brown eyes dancing back at her as they narrowly avoided a class 1-B team from snatching their points.

Minami smiled back, when suddenly she heard a roar of anger and saw Bakugo looking positively demonic as he chased down Monoma's team who had seemingly snatched his headband. She sighed a bit in relief, knowing he was at least distracted for now. Seeing another team charging them, Minami turned and saw Shoto's team coming at them strong.

Minami didn't hesitate to push her arm out, eager to blast them away, albeit with a much more legal shot this time. However, Minami's eyes couldn't leave Shoto's, shocked by the amount of anger burning in them.

He's so mad…Is he really mad at me?

Her distraction made Uraraka's screech in her ear all the more surprising,

"Minami! Look out!"

Minami suddenly felt a glob of something wet and sticky on her arm, then her face, which seeped directly into her eyes and began to burn like the world's worst shampoo.

Minami cried out at the burning sensation, instinctively using both hands to paw at the oily, sticky substance that she couldn't get off the upper half of her face. She could hear Izuku cry out in surprise as one of his supports, her arm, left him. She felt guilt encompass her for letting her team down as she heard them struggle to prevent Izuku from hitting the ground.

A whistle was blown a second time, and all around her Minami could hear the crowd of the stadium booing once more. Attempting to open her eyes, Minami felt a tremor of fear go through her as she realized her lids were in fact stuck shut. She felt her heart begin to hammer in her chest from pure panic.

What in the fuck is on me? Holy shit…ok…don't panic….breathe…..breathe…..

Minami felt strange hands grasp her then. She gasped and tried to step away until she heard a young woman's voice in her ear.

"It's ok, my name is Yuki, I'm a paramedic, here let me look at your face, I'm going to pour some water on you to see if that dislodges whatever this is.

"Ohhhh, Minami chan, I'm so sorry! I created a textile glue with my quirk and aimed for your socks, though I tripped and misaimed." The sickeningly sweet voice came forward as Shoto's team stood near Minami and her team during the timeout. Minami growled lowly, recognizing it as Momo.

Of course it was her! I hate this bitch! Minami screamed internally as she winced at the sensation of cold water being poured on her face by the medic.

Minami clenched her hands into fists at her sides, wanting nothing more than to leap forward and rip out Momo's long, glossy, dark hair. However, Minami's internal fantasizing was interrupted by Present Mic making an announcement.

"LOOKS LIKE CLASS 1-A YAOYOROZU MAY BE GETTING A PENALTY FOR HER ATTACK ON CLASS 1-A YAGI. MIDNIGHT IS COMING FORWARD TO ISSUE HER DECISION,"

Turning on her mic once more, Midnight sighed a bit before speaking, "I couldn't see the attack from my angle on the field, therefore, I will also issue a warning to Yaoyorozu as well. Anymore accidental targeting and you're out of the game!"

Minami ground her teeth at the announcement as the crowd cheered, eager for the match to finish. She jumped as she felt another pair of hands on her shoulders, forcing her forward as the water was not successful in rinsing out all of the glue.

"Come on now sweetie, let's get you to Recovery Girl," She could feel the medic guiding her forward, likely out of the stadium and towards one of the off field exits that would lead to the bowels of the stadium.

Minami ground her heels in, "Wait! What about my teammates! They need me! They can't forfeit because of me!"

At her statement, she could hear Izuku and Uraraka call to her, already some distance away.

"It's ok Min chan! Midnight just told us we wouldn't have to forefeit, We only have to play for a little while longer! We'll be alright!"

"Yeah Minami chan! You go make sure your eyes are ok! We'll make it out just fine!"

"See sweetie? Your friends will be fine, now let's go!" the young woman pushed Minami forward then,

"But…but…the tournament…..I want to compete…" Minami trailed off, not sure what else she could say to try to convince them she could stay.

"No buts now miss! Let's go! Your eyes are more important! And stop picking at them! You don't want to rip your eye lashes out!" the medic slapped Minami's hands away from her face. She had a no nonsense tone to her voice as she ushered her further away.

Soon enough Minami's socked feet were met with concrete floor, and their steps echoed in a hallway, telling Minami that they were no longer on the field, but inside the belly of the stadium.

Suddenly, heavy footsteps could be heard in front of them.

"Oh!...All Might! Is that really you?! What a surprise seeing you here!" the young medic exclaimed, clearly twitter pated to see the number one hero.

"Hello citizen! I thank you for taking such good care of my student! But have no fear! I can escort young Yagi here to Recovery Girl!"

Minami's heart skipped then, recognizing the baritone voice of her father's anywhere, and eagerly reached out for him as her eyes were still stuck shut. She felt large, warm, calloused hands take hers as he pulled her forward gently. She rested the side of her head against his solid chest and inhaled, recognizing his cologne anywhere, feeling at peace for the first time since leaving the field as his muscled arm wrapped around her shoulders amicably.

Minami could hear the young woman laugh giddily as she was sure her father gave her his most appealing smile, and she couldn't help but roll her eyes a bit under her eyelids. She knew her father could really turn on the charm when he wanted to, and could basically sweep any woman of his choice off her feet in his muscle form.

The crowd roared above them, and Minami's interest was drawn once more.

"What's happening? Is my team ok?" Minami questioned as she listened carefully, hoping to hear Present Mic chime in over the speakers to give her cues on how her team was doing.

"Don't you worry about your team young Yagi! I'm sure they're doing just fine, now," Minami squealed as she felt herself being hoisted into strong arms bridal style, still unable to see around her.

"Let's get you to Recovery Girl," and soon she was on the move once more, feeling herself bounce slightly with each elongated stride her father took.

After approximately a minute of silence, her father spoke once more.

"My poor girl, getting glue stuck on your eyelids, that must be so uncomfortable." She could feel him hold her closer to his chest, his sympathy exuding.

Minami took this as her cue that they were alone, and irritably began rubbing her eyes once more,

"Papaaaaaa, I wanna see again! How are we going to get the glue out?" She whined. She felt her hands still by his large one.

"Don't rub sweetheart, that'll just make it worse. Now here we are at Recovery Girl's makeshift office!"

Pushing the door open, it seemed Recovery Girl was ready to receive her, ushering All Might to set her on a bed.

"Good work getting her here so fast All Might, the sooner the better. Don't you worry dearie! We'll get that glue off your eye lashes and lids in no time!"

Minami focused on the soft footsteps of the elderly nurse as she gathered supplies.

She could feel her father's hand holding her own again, though it's boniness informed her that All Might must have shifted to his smaller Yagi form now that they were behind closed doors.

Recovery Girl tut tutted at the sticky substance stuck to Minami's face as she rolled up next to the blonde girl in an elevated chair to be at eye level. She came armed with copious amounts of cotton balls and a liquid mixture.

Minami startled when she felt a large hand grab each of her ankles and feet one by one, lacing on what felt like another pair of shoes while Recovery Girl worked her magic. Her father's deep chuckle could be heard.

"Lose your shoes kiddo? Not to worry, I am here! With a pair to spare," Minami giggled at her father's corny rhyme when Recovery's voice came forward.

"Now dearie, which of those students was the one who thought it was a great idea to throw textile glue at your face?" Minami could hear the bite of anger in her question, and she didn't hesitate to answer, eager to complain a bit.

"Momo! She pretended like she misaimed, but I know this was done on purpose…She doesn't like me very much…"

Recovery Girl scoffed,

"Oh, you mean that little tart who has her chest and ass hanging out in her hero uniform? Yes, I know exactly who you're speaking of." Gingerly, Recovery Girl continued rubbing the glue out of Minami's copper colored eye lashes.

Minami sputtered a laugh at Recovery Girl basically calling Momo a slut due to her hero uniform. Behind her, she could hear her father grumble in disapproval. Though, Minami hummed a bit sadly again to herself before responding.

"Well, all the boys think she's the prettiest in class…" she trailed off as she felt her eye lids were a bit more mobile. Soon enough, she was able to flutter and blink her eyes blearily as she could see once more. She grinned, even if it did feel like her eyes had been rubbed with sandpaper. The first face in her line of vision was none other than Toshinori Yagi.

"Hi Papa! I can see again!"

Yagi couldn't help but grin at her cheerful smile, and leaned forward to plant a kiss to her cheek, patting her head.

"I can see that little one," Yagi sighed with relief as he held her face in his hands, his matching blue orbs examining her own closely.

Recovery Girl pushed in then and shined a light in Minami's eyes, satisfied with their health, then dripped some drops in them to help with the redness and irritation. Finishing up with her work with a smooch to Minami's cheek, she looked at the teen with a devilish grin. Minami hummed to herself as her kiss resulted in a soothing, cool sensation over her eyes.

"I'll give you this bit of advice dearie that never changes, no matter how much time passes. Any woman has a right to dress however she wants. But, if you always dress with your ass and breasts hanging out for the world to see, you'll no longer be judged by your talent or intellect. Besides, it's always a bit more fun to keep a little mystery by not showing off all your physical assets all the time, now isn't it?" The old woman waggled her eyebrows as she gave her conservative advice, causing Minami to giggle once more at her insinuation, Recovery girl laughing along with her.

She could hear her father sigh and grouch in a disapproving manner behind her once more, clearly feeling uncomfortable with the older woman giving his young daughter advice on how to attract the opposite sex.

"Chiyo please, don't give her ideas…"

"Oh hush All Might, and let two girls gossip!" Recovery Girl admonished the golden hero as she swung at him with her cane. The terrified look on the number one hero's face as he dodged the cane left Minami in stitches.

The blonde jumped down from the bed, breathing in deeply and looking around the room, grateful that she could see once more. Feeling a large hand take her own, she was led towards the door to exit the infirmary. Steam filled the area as her father shifted back to his muscle form, not giving Minami a chance to say goodbye to the older woman. Minami scoffed.

He's probably terrified of what else Recovery Girl will say to me, She thought to herself as she waved goodbye to the older woman. Out in the hallway, she could see no one in immediate sight.

Feeling her father drop her hand he smiled down at her.

"I'll take you back to your classmates. There, you can see where your team placed my girl…Though I have to say, I am so proud of you, you've really been going plus ultra!" he flashed a grin to her and gave her a thumbs up, ruffling her hair, though still mindful of who else could be lurking around the corner.

Walking forward, Minami trailed her father and beamed as brightly as the sun at his praise. But soon, their attention was caught by a fiery glow coming from the staircase they needed to take.

Soon enough smoldering embers were seen forming around a large figure, and Minami halted, immediately darting behind All Might's broad frame, a tremble of fear going down her spine.

"Endeavor! What are the chances we would meet like this again!" Minami could feel her father's forced cheerfulness come forward as she stood behind him, her free hand clutching the back of his navy blue suit coat.

Blazing eyes turned to regard the golden hero briefly before resting on Minami. His lips curled over his teeth as he spoke, his eyes never leaving the blonde girl at the number one hero's side.

"Yes, All Might, quite the coincidence…"

Alright Y'all! There's Chapter 27! I hope it was enjoyable! Please let me know what you think! Oh and I always pictured Recovery Girl to be as witty as Olenna Tyrell from GOT, so she's a bit of my inspiration for Recovery Girl in this story.
