Call me butter 'cause I'm on a roll.
Saturday was fast approaching and while Catherine's nerves regarding the physical aspects of the date had been quelled her nerves about the actual event were in full force. Catherine prided herself on her appearance and always made an effort to look good regardless of what she was doing but she wanted to look even better for their date. The problem was she didn't know what to wear. Sara had only told her it had to be a dress that wasn't too fancy. She already knew she wanted to wear a dress but what kind?
She had exhausted all of her wardrobe choices and ruled out every single one of them and was currently stood in front of her mirror with a mountain of dresses piled onto the bed behind her.
"Damn you Sidle, why is this so hard?" she sighed in frustration, she hadn't had this much trouble before a date since she was a teenager.
She pulled off the ruched maroon material and tossed on top of the pile behind her. She turned back to the mirror and twisted her body from side to side, admiring it from every angle as she stood in nothing but a black cotton t-shirt bra and matching thong. She had always been proud of how she had maintained her figure over the years but doubt was creeping into her mind. Sara was younger than her; what if she didn't like what she saw when the time came?
Sighing she pulled on some fitted jeans and a t-shirt deciding she would just go shopping.
A couple of hours later Sara was walking through the mall on her way to pick up the new sound system she had ordered a few weeks ago when she passed by a small, but flashy, boutique. Normally she wouldn't give places like that the time of day, not her style and definitely not in her price range, but for some reason today she looked through the windows of the shop. To her surprise she saw Catherine stood towards the back of the shop wearing a lilac dress that came to just above her knee looking in the mirror.
Smirking she quietly stepped into the shop and made her way around the racks, constantly watching Catherine. She watched the other woman run her hands over the material before turning her body to the side and checking what it looked like from the back. She slowly advanced towards the other woman as she ran her hands through her hair and shook it out, still admiring the dress. Sara was only a few feet away when she noticed a snooty looking sales assistant watching her with a look of disdain on her face; she probably thought Sara wasn't good enough to be in her shop wearing ripped jeans, docs and a baggy tee. Sara, not one to be intimated easily, straightened her body and looked the woman square in the eyes, challenging her to say something. Smirking in her typical I won manner Sara made her way over to where Catherine stood when the other woman turned away and began arranging bags on a shelf.
She walked right up behind Catherine as she held up two dresses, one a pale blue and the other black; she stopped right behind Catherine so their bodies were almost touching and leant forwards so her ear was right behind Catherine's.
"Definitely the black." Her breath brushed against the other woman's ear and neck making her jump and spin around.
"Holy sh…Sara!" Catherine exclaimed and closed her eyes, clutching the dresses to her chest as her heart beat rapidly.
Sara simply smiled at the startled woman and reiterated her previous statement that she should purchase the black. Regaining her composure Catherine held up the aforementioned dress and examined it.
"Are you sure?" she queried as she turned to the mirror and held the fabric against her body, scrutinising it.
Sara stepped up behind and lightly rested her hands on Catherine's hips as she peered over her shoulder, looking at their refection in the mirror.
"God yes. With a pair of killer heels." She bit her lip and closed her eyes, letting the images present in her mind.
Her daydreaming was cut short by Catherine coughing. Her eyes opened and she was met with the reflection of Catherine, eyebrow raised and smirk firmly in place.
"If you've quite finished." Her tone was light, teasing.
"No. I haven't." Sara's tone was serious, she turned her head and quickly checked nobody was watching them then using her hands still holding Catherine's hips she pushed her into the changing cubicle and pulled the curtain closed.
Before Catherine had a chance to react to their sudden change in environment she span her around and pushed her up against the mirrored wall as her lips attached themselves to Catherine's. There was nothing soft about the kiss. This kiss was desperate and full of lust. This was the kiss of someone who deeply desired the other.
Their lips moved against each other in almost bruising intensity, she ran her tongue across Catherine's bottom lip before slowly sliding it into her mouth and moving it in an almost sensual manner against the other woman's.
As their tongues danced and teased Catherine's hands had dropped the dresses and anchored themselves onto Sara's shoulders while Sara's own hands brushed down the sides of Catherine's body. Her fingers grazed against the sides of her breasts, over her slim waist and hips where one stayed as the other continued down. She grabbed a handful of the fabric at Catherine's thigh and began pulling it upwards to bunch around her hip; her thumb grazing along the soft skin as it was exposed making Catherine shiver and her nails to dig into Sara's shoulders.
Catherine, dizzy and incredibly turned on from Sara's kisses, tore her mouth from the brunettes and gulped in some much needed oxygen.
"Sara," she gasped quietly as Sara's lips attached themselves to the enticing skin on her neck. "Why must you tease me?" her plea was breathy and laced with arousal.
Despite her words her head tilted to the side allowing Sara more access to tease her neck, a place that had an almost 100% success rate of turning her on.
"Do you want me to stop?" Sara asked between kisses that were making Catherine squirm.
"no." Catherine breathed out before gently pushing Sara away. "But I think we should."
Sara's eyes ran over Catherine's face and she smirked, feeling pretty proud of the flustered state the blonde was now in. her face and chest were flushed a light pink colour, her breathing was rapid which was causing her chest to rise and fall quite noticeably.
She found it difficult to tear her eyes away from the swell of Catherine's breasts peeking out from beneath the lilac dress but with great willpower she somehow succeeded and met Catherine's eye.
"You're right. I got a little carried away there. Sorry." She had promised Catherine they would take it slow but here she was practically crawling all over her in a changing room.
"Don't be sorry." Catherine smiled. "I'm not complaining."
Sara smiled and leaned down to retrieve the black dress Catherine had dropped during their make out session. She straightened the fabric on the hanger and handed it to Catherine.
"Please get this one. It's perfect for what I have planned."
Catherine took the dress and nodded. "okay." Her voice was still a little shaky.
Sara stepped into Catherine's personal space once again and whispered against her ear. "Get the lilac one too." She ran her hands over the fabric of the dress Catherine was still wearing. "I suddenly have this intense desire to strip you out of it." She finished by pressing a light kiss to the sensitive skin just below Catherine's ear causing her eyes to close.
By the time Catherine had regained some composure and opened her eyes Sara was exiting the changing rooms with a more jolly spring in her step, she even waved at the snooty sales assistant as she passed.
She had once again managed to throw Catherine completely off balance, turn her on beyond measure and leave her high and dry. This was beginning to become a habit and Catherine wasn't sure she could take much more of it.
