Another One
So, I don't really know anything about band, and I'm a bit too lazy to look it up so if I get things about it wrong, sorry. Anyways, enjoy!

Jason
Jason Grace was at school with his sister, Thalia. The two siblings headed to band practice, since Jason played the French horn and Thalia was a clarinet player.
They didn't get there early, but they also weren't late like they usually were, so it was a win for Jason. Jason and Thalia took their seats and waited for Mr. Apollo, the band teacher, to start speaking. Thalia sat down between her girlfriend, Reyna Avilla Ramirez-Arellano, who played the flute and her best-friend, Annabeth Chase, who also played the flute.
Jason next down next to his own girlfriend, Piper Mclean, a flute player and their best friend, Leo Valdez who didn't play the flute, instead played the French horn, like himself.
"Alright everyone, we've got a new kid joining us today! Come on up and introduce yourself."
A girl with blue bell eyes, tan skin with freckles and short ginger hair dyed with a shock of bright green waved and started to introduce herself.
"Hey, I'm Kayla Knowles and I'm a flute player."
Jason immediately turned to Reyna, Thalia and Annabeth. He knew that they were a bit annoyed by the amount of people who played the flute, so he cringed since he guessed that one of them would say something.
"Another flute player, how many of you are there?!" It was Thalia who said that. She huffed and crossed her arms in a bit of annoyance. Jason knew that she wasn't exactly mad, just annoyed. But since that he wasn't sure Kayla knew, he would make sure that Kayla knew Thalia wasn't actually mad.
Mr. Apollo opened his mouth to speak to Thalia, but then Ms. Artemis came in and glared just a little bit at Thalia.
"Thalia, be polite. Kayla you can go take a seat."
Kayla looked around the room and Jason gestured for her to sit by him, since Leo went over to sit down next to Hazel. Who was also a flutist. Jason smiled a bit at Kayla as she walked over to sit down next to him.
"Hey I'm Jason. Sorry about my sister, Thalia. She's not really mad at you for playing the flute, so don't worry about that."
"Nice to meet you Jason. Oh, she's the one who yelled out?"
"Yeah that's Thalia. I would say that she's nicer when you get to know her, but I know that that's not true. You just have to get used to her."
Kayla snorted at what Jason said and nodded.
"Got it. What instrument do you play?"
"I play the French horn. I've been playing it since I was five, so I'm pretty good at it too."
"Really? That's a long time to have played an instrument. I've only been playing the flute for around four months."
"Yeah, I guess it is. I can't wait to hear your flute playing Kayla."
"Thanks. And I'm excited to hear the guy whose been playing the French horn since he as five play."
"Agreed, we both can't wait to hear each other play."
Kayla grinned and nodded in agreement to what Jason said. She opened to her mouth to say something as Ms. Artemis tapped her pen on her clipboard. Even though it wasn't exactly that loud, that silenced everyone who was speaking. Ms. Artemis was a nice teacher, but she was pretty intimidating and scary when she was mad, so no one wanted to get on her bad side.
"Okay class, let's get started."
Jason and Kayla turned their attention to Ms. Artemis and Mr. Apollo.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~After Class~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jason packed up his French horn and saw Kayla also packing up her instrument along with the rest of the class.
He finished up first and exited the room. Jason waited outside of the door for Thalia and maybe Kayla as well.
After just a little bit, Kayla come out of the room and Jason waved in greeting.
"Hey Kayla. Your playing was nice."
"Thanks Jason. And your French horn playing was amazing."
"Thank you, Kayla. If you want to get better, I think I could convince one of my friends who are also flutists to help you, Annabeth and Reyna."
"That would be cool, thanks."
"Yeah no problem. Though I should warn you, they're both kind of intense. They're definitely Ms. Artemis's favorite students. Sometimes they help her take attendance."
"I can deal with some intense trainers if it helps me get better."
"Great then. I'll try to convince one of them to help you out."
"Awesome, thanks!"
"No problem Kayla." Immediately after Jason said that, Thalia came through the door and walked over to where Jason and Kayla were.
"Hey Jace, new girl."
"Hey Thals. Her name is Kayla, remember?"
"Yes, the other flute player. Its hard to keep track of the flutists little bro."
Jason rolled his eyes at his sister and Thalia grabbed his wrist and dragged him out of the school. He gestured for Kayla to join him if she wanted to. Kayla followed the two siblings out of the school.
Thalia let go of Jason's wrist once they reached the outside of the school and Kayla stood next to Jason.
"So, we'll see you later Annabeth. Or was it Reyna? Hazel? Piper? Or one of the other many flute players?"
Jason rolled his eyes once again and sighed in exasperation.
"We'll see you tomorrow Kayla, it was nice meeting you."
"Thanks, it was nice to meet you too."
Jason nodded and started to walk away, on his way home and he assumed that Thalia was following him, and she was.
"Jace, do you wanna switch over to the flute too? To make it five of my friends who play the flute?"
"Oh quiet Thalia, not everyone is a flutist, the flute is just a popular instrument."
Thalia huffed and crossed her arms as she walked by the side of Jason.
"Too popular. The clarinet is way better."
So that's it, I hope you enjoyed it!
