Brisa leaned her ear against the hotel door and listened. She could hear them on the other side. Seth and some woman. She had no clue who was in bed with her supposedly boyfriend, nor did she care. It would just be another name. A name he couldn't deny this time now that she finally caught him red handed.

The honey blonde haired, hazel eyed woman had known for a long time. She had even told Seth that she knew but he always kept denying it. Without proof she didn't exactly sound sane. She just knew. Several women had messaged her about sleeping with him. They all knew Seth's girlfriend. She was a famous actress. He of course claimed they were just a bunch of delusional liars.

She had to come up with a plan. She told him she would be away for a radio interview to discuss her upcoming movie. It was only half a lie. She would be doing a radio interview but not until tomorrow. He thought she would be gone until tomorrow night.

"I wish I had never met you," she mumbled.

That was the truth. She wished she had never met him. He had made her fall in love so fast, only to break her heart again and again with all his cheating. And still he convinced her time after time that she was seeing ghosts. He made her feel bad about her suspicions. He made her apologize for what she said. In all this time she still knew she was right. The voice inside her wouldn't be quiet.

She put her key card in the door and unlocked it. She opened it and walked inside. Their moans hit her full force like a storm blowing her backwards. The light was on. Classic Seth wanting to watch the woman he was with. She walked closer to the bed and just stared at them for a few seconds.

"But I'm seeing ghosts, right, Seth?" She asked.

He jumped off the woman and out on the floor. The woman in the bed tried to hide her body with the covers. Brisa looked at her. She didn't know her. A woman with short, light brown hair and a pair of fearful, dark brown eyes. Probably just some random fan Seth had met after the show.

"Is she a delusional liar too?" She asked.
"Babe, you don't understand. It's not what you think," he said.
"Not what I think?" She shook her head in disbelief. "Because what I think, and what I god damn know, is that I just watched you fuck that woman."
"It was an accident," he said.
"Right. You just fell on top of her naked body and happened to fuck her by accident. Sure thing, Seth. It happens to me all the time too. What the fuck is wrong with you? Why do you have to do this shit? You had many chances to come clean. I wanted to leave so many times but you wouldn't let me. Instead you keep doing this shit, and now I finally caught you, asshole," she said.

He took a step forward but she took one step back. She didn't want him to get near her.

"Babe, let's sit down and talk about it. Leah here was just leaving anyway," he said.
"Leah?" She looked at the other woman. "I don't care if she leaves or stays. I'm leaving."
"Don't do anything irrational. You're not thinking straight. Once again you're jumping to conclusions," he said.
"Shut the fuck up!" She shouted.

To her surprise he did shut up. Probably because she had never shouted at him before. He knew he couldn't dig his way out of this hole, yet he still tried. Because deep inside he did love her. He just couldn't stay faithful for some reason.

"Hey Leah, are you a fan of him?" Brisa asked.
"Yes," Leah said lowly.

Brisa looked at Seth again and once again shook her head.

"They love you, Seth. They love the character you play on tv. They love the man they think you are, but none of them love the real you. Only I did that. And that's the one thing you crave the most. To be loved. You're fucking scared of being alone which is why you have to jump into bed with random women the second you have a night to yourself. Because you feel like the walls are closing in on you, and you can't breathe on your own," she said.

He looked down ashamed for a moment. He knew she was right. He was afraid of not being loved so he kept trying to get more love from anyone willing to give it. He knew it wasn't real. It wasn't real love. It was a fan finally getting a shot at him, and it never felt as good as it was supposed to in his head.

"They love you. They fucking love you," she chuckled sadly. "You don't deserve to be loved."

She turned and walked towards the door. He ran to her and wrapped his arms around her from behind, trying to prevent her from leaving.

"Don't leave me, Brisa," he pleaded. "I love you. I've always loved you. We can work this out. I'll get help."
"You do that, Seth. You fucking need it," she said. "Now let go of me before I scream this entire hotel down, and people think you're an abusive boyfriend. You don't wanna lose your career too."
"I don't wanna lose you," he said.
"You lost me a long time ago when you first decided to cheat on me. You lost my heart. The rest of me didn't know how to walk away until today," she said.

He tightened his arms around her and started crying. He didn't want to lose her. She remained calm and didn't shed a single tear.

"Let go!" She said firmly.

He released her and stood there while hoping she would turn around and look at him. Hoping his tears would be proof enough that he would do better. Hoping they could work this out so that she would stay with him. She opened the door and walked out without ever looking back. When the door closed behind her, his heart broke in a million pieces.

Outside of the door she kept being calm as she walked to the elevator. She rode down and managed to pretend everything was fine when she handed the key card to the man behind the counter in the lobby. She walked out of the hotel and got into her car. As darkness surrounded her, she finally broke down. She leaned over the steering wheel and sobbed.

"Fuck you, Seth!" She yelled.

She cried for minutes until her tears finally ran dry. She collected herself once more and started the car. She had already booked a room at another hotel. Once she got there, she was going to have a drink and a bath before getting to bed.

Tomorrow she would use her acting skills and put on her best happy facade for the radio interview. She would talk about her upcoming movie and let it slide that she was single after catching Seth cheating on her. She knew he would be listening. She knew he would be hurt. And she knew he would finally get the message once she delivered it to the entire world. They were done.
