"Sh, it's ok, baby girl. Mommy is right here." Quinn was desperate. With a seven months old Beth in her arms, Quinn was trying to make her stop crying. She didn't understand why her baby girl was crying so much, but she was holding her and bouncing the baby... Her diaper was clean, she did feeded her, and she even sang for Beth and nothing couldn't make her stop crying. "It's alright, baby... I wish you could talk already, what-" Quinn could hear Santana's laughing behind her and turned around, frowning. "This is not funny, Santana! I don't know what is wrong with her. I'm doing something wrong." Quinn looked back to Beth, and her heart broke.
"I'm sorry, but it's kinda funny." Santana approached her girls, kissing Quinn's cheek, and Beth's forehead. "What happened, bee? Did mommy pinched you?"
"Santana!" Quinn walked away for her wife, trying to calm her daughter, and Santana laughed.
"Ok, ok! I'm sorry. The dinner is almost ready, do you want me to help you?" Without say anything, Quinn — almost crying, passing Beth to Santana's arms. "Sh, it's ok, bee... let's see what is happening, can you tell mama?"
"Yeah! She will tell you, but she wouldn't tell me." Quinn crossed her arms, sitting on the couch.
"Q, baby, don't be like that, you're an amazing mom."
Still crying, Beth was looking at her mama, and her little hands were on her little ears, she was trying to grab it, and was getting even more irritated.
"What? It's your ears, isn't it?" Santana sat besides Quinn, laying Beth on her legs, and began to massage her daughter's ears.
"Do you think it's her ears?" Asked Quinn.
"It can be..." in a few minutes, Beth was stopping crying and sniffling trying to get Santana's hands.
"God! I'm so stupid, why I didn't see this? She was trying to get her ears for hours, and I couldn't see that." Quinn laid her head on her wife's shoulder, with a cute pout.
"Baby, it's ok... you see so many things with Beth that I don't. You're the best mommy, and I'm sure Beth knows that."
"I'm sorry, dear heart." Quinn caressed her baby girl's cheek and the little one was looking at her while Santana keep massaging her ears. "I'll pay more attention in the future."
"Stop! She'll be fine, she already calming down, I'm sure it was just scratching... it's all good, isn't it, bee?" Beth just looked at her, and tried to put her finger into her mouth.
"Ok! Give me my baby back, I'm hungry and you need to finish dinner."
"Nope! Beth will be my souls-chef." Santana got up with Beth in her arms. "You try to relax, we will finish everything."
Santana went to the kitchen, cleaning Beth's face with a cloth towel, before started to set the table. Quinn and Santana were tired, they worked all day, and could wait to finish everything, put Beth to sleep and just lay dowm together on the couch to relax and enjoy each other's company.
End.
Quinn was with her mom at the BB&B doing some shopping for her new apartment. Judy was helping Quinn getting all the utensils for her kitchen and some new towels and sheets for her bedroom and Beth's. They got a new bed for the little one, and Quinn was looking for some Tinker Bell's sheets for Beth.
"I can't understand why Beth loves the fairy so much." Judy said, walking around with Quinn.
"Yeah, Brittany said Beth watch Tinker Bell since day one." Quinn chuckled.
"Let's see if we can found something of this fairy." Judy smiled and they keeping looking until she find a cute ballerina's pillows and brought some for her granddaughter's bedroom.
They paid for the things and carrying the stuff to the car, Quinn brought all the utensils she will need for her dinner with Santana. She was excited, she even asked her mom if Judy has a special recipe for a special night. She doesn't know what to expect for the weekend, but she knows things will be good.
"So, Santana will have dinner with you this weekend?" Judy asked.
"Yeah, she will bring Beth to spend the weekend, and she may stay for dinner." Quinn chuckled.
"Why do I have a feeling this will be more like a date?" Her mom smiled and they got into the car, to go to get lunch together.
"It may or may not be a date."
"What do you want it to be?" Quinn looked at her mom and them back to the road, smiling.
"I want it to be a date."

"Does dad know you're with me?" Quinn knew her parents were finally getting divorce and she was happy for her mom. Judy finally had the attitude to dump her father and was looking for a small house. Of course her father doesn't know about this small part, but it doesn't matter, Judy was getting free.
"No, he doesn't know, and it's no one of his business anyway. He doesn't talk to me since the day you left. I think somehow he blames me for everything."
"What? Seriously, what is wrong with him? I thought he would at least thinking about our family, but he doesn't care about any of us." They were at a diner, just finishing their lunch.
"I don't know, sweet. But I can't remember the day he changed. Because believe it or not, he was an amazing boyfriend, he would do anything for me, and he did everything to impress my parents. He was always a business man, he always dreaming having his own company and working with a son... however, he got two beautiful daughters and thought that maybe, one of you girls would work with him."
"Yeah! Well, I tried, but law is not for me."
"I know, I'm not blaming you or Frannie. All I want for my daughters are for them to be happy. Working with art or whatever you want, and marry with whatever you want, but your dad... like I said, I can't remember the day he changed."
"It's sad, because I always thought he would be there for me, for my kids, but..." Quinn was playing with her napkin.
"Try not to thinking about it, sweet. It's his lost, he's the one missing all of this. Beth's life and maybe even Frannie's life."
"I wish Beth could have a good grandfather."
"What about Santana's parents?" Judy grabbed Quinn's hand, holding it.
"She doesn't talk to them for a few years. Her father was an alcoholic and treated them with no respect. I'm not sure if he ever hit them, she didn't say anything about that, but they don't talk."
"Oh, that's sad. She never thought about to talk to them again?"
"I don't know, she didn't tell me much this time. I'm pretty sure I know a lot about her relationship with her parents, but well, I can't remember." Quinn chuckled, and Judy smiled.
"I'm sure she can tell you again."
"Yeah, I hope so. I want to understand her life better."
"Well, you have a date with her this weekend, you have a lot to talk." Judy chuckled and they were done with their food. "Alright sweet, let's go. We need to organize your new apartment." They called for the waitress, paying their lunch and when they were living the diner, Quinn saw the person she was trying to avoid.
"Quinn? Oh, hello Judy."
"Hello, Samuel. How are you?"
"I'm good, thank you, what a surprise. I'm trying to call you, Quinn."
"Huh... Mom, can you wait for me in the car?" Quinn turned to her mom, giving her the keys.
"Of course, sweet. Have a great day, Samuel."
"Thank you, you too, Judy." Sam smiled to Judy, and turned back to Quinn. "So, how are you? I'm trying to talk to you for weeks, your dad told me you got a new apartment. This is good, Quinn." While Sam was talking, Quinn didn't know if she wanted to slap him, or kick his balls, because seriously, she was mad and just see him make her angry.
"My dad told you?" Taking a long deep breathe, Quinn wouldn't never make a scene in public, so she was trying here. "Yeah, I got a new place, to spend more time with my daughter."
"This is great, Quinn." Sam smiles, and Quinn wanted to punch that ridiculous face. "Well, since I finally got the chance to talk to you, I was wondering if you'd like to go-"
"Yeah, no, I'll stop you right there." She held her hand, stopping him. "Whatever you're going to say, the answer is no. And before you ask me why, you listen to me, and listen carefully." Quinn got close to his face, and his eyes wide. "I know everything, Sam. Everything that happened between us, and I'm so mad and disgusting by you. I'm mad, because you just like my father took advantage of me, if you think I'm stupid, think again. Just like last time, I'm going to say it again: I don't want anything with you. I don't want to have lunch or dinner or even a coffee, so, forget it, and don't call me again."
"Quinn, I'm sorry, I-" he tried to touch her arm, but she took a step back.
"Don't even try. Don't touch me, Sam. I want you to stay away for me, I don't want anything to do with you, or my dad or that stupid company, you can have both if you want, I don't care, so, am I clear?"
"Quinn, please..."
"No! Am I clear?" Quinn asked again, and Sam could see in her eyes she wasn't joke. He knew he screw up again, and he was feeling stupid for listened to Russell.
"Yes, Quinn. I'm sorry, I'll leave you alone."
"Thank you, have a good day, Samuel." Quinn gave her fake smiled to him and turned back to her car.

Quinn was just finishing get ready, she wasn't sure what to wear, it was a date, but at the same time, Beth would be there too, so she tried something comfortable. She was wearing a bohemian black floral dress, with long sleeve, she let her hair down and put a light make up. She was nervous, she got a message a few hours ago from Santana, telling her the Latina and Beth would cook tonight and Quinn got a blueberry pie for her little one.
She was just choosing her shoes when she heard the buzz and knew Santana and Beth were there.
"Yeah!?" Quinn answered.
"It's us, mommy!" Quinn let them in, and went to open her door. Soon, they were showing upstairs. "Mommy!" Beth ran to Quinn, jumping into her arms.
"Hi, baby girl, I miss you." Quinn hold her baby, hugging her. "Hi, Tana." The blonde met Santana's eyes and for a second she didn't know if they would kiss or not, but Santana leaning in and kissed her forehead.
"Hey, baby, ready for our night?" Santana was holding some bags and Quinn let them in. "Wow..."
"You have a TV now, mommy! We can watch a movie tonight." Beth was on the floor, looking at the big screen. "Tinker Bell will be huge in this TV."
"And you got a new fridge!" Santana said from the kitchen.
"Yeah, I went shopping with my mom, she help me with some things for the kitchen and the bedrooms."
"Do I have a bed now?" Beth asked, joined her moms and Quinn smiled.
"Yeah! You have a bed now. And-" before Quinn could finish, Beth was running to her new bedroom.
"You're saying..." Santana chuckled, and step close to Quinn, grabbed her hand.
"I'd say, she doesn't have her tinker bell wall yet, but she does have some of the fairy's pillows and towels. Thanks do my mom. And some ballerina stuffs." Quinn smiled, and for the first time, they met each other eyes. "Hi."
"Hi, beautiful." Santana whispered, wrapping her arm around Quinn's waist.
"I miss you this week, you know?"
"Yeah?"
"Yep." Quinn wrapped her arms around Santana's neck. "It was fun doing shopping with my mom, but I couldn't stop thinking about you."
"I'm here now, baby, you can have me as much as you want." Santana smirked.
"Can I kiss you?"
"Baby," Santana brushing some of Quinn's hair behind her ear, caressing the blonde's face. "You don't have to ask, this delicious lips is yours." The blonde chuckled, and she pulled her in. She started kiss her slow and deliberate. They kissed until they heard a giggle from behind them.
"Uh-Oh"
"She's behind me, isn't she?" Quinn smiled, whispering, still wrapped at Santana's arms.
"Yeah, and she's trying to hide, but she's doing a terrible job so far." Santana took a step back, and Quinn turned smiling to Beth. "What are you doing?"
"You and mami were kissing..." Beth giggled again.
"Oh! Are you sure?" Quinn got close to her, and pick her up, tickling the little one.
Beth laugh always light the place, she was always a bubble of joy and have her was definitely the best thing for Quinn. She love the little human so much, and it's crazy how fast Beth stole her heart since she woke up in that hospital. She was her everything.
"Alright, my ladies." Santana got everything ready to start dinner, and she gave Quinn a glass of wine, and took Beth from her. "You, Lucy Quinn... go and relax on the couch. Because we're going to make dinner."
"Yeah, you go, mommy... I'm going to help mama."
"What? No! I want to help. I'm not going to sit and let you do all the job."
"Yes, you will." Santana leaned in for a quick connection of their lips. "Go!"
"But..."
"Mommy! Go to the living room." Beth point her fingers, and made her mama's serious faces.
"Ok, ok! I'm going."
"You can still see us from there, mommy. You're not alone." Beth smiled and Santana put her down to start the dinner.
Xxxxx
Quinn could see them from the couch and couldn't help but smiled everytime Santana would help Beth with something. The little girl was having fun and she sometimes turned around waving to her mommy.
"Beth, be careful. You keep washing the vegetables and the hot stuff is with mama."
"I know, mama. Sorry. Can I help you with the sauce?"
"No, baby, the sauce is almost ready, go and ask mommy to help you set the table, alright?"
"OK. Mommy!" Beth jumped of her stood, and went to Quinn.
"Yes?"
"Mama said the dinner is almost ready, and we need to set the table."
"Oh, now I can help?" Quinn narrowed her eyes, and got out of the couch following Beth.
"Baby, this is a special dinner, you go and help your daughter. I'm almost done here."
"It's smell delicious."
"I know right? It's Mama's special recipe for you." Beth was opening the drawer, getting the silverware.
In a few minutes, the table was set, and Santana with Beth brought the food, and Quinn the wine and the OJ for Beth. They all sat around the small table, and the food looked really taste. Santana help Beth first and then served the food to Quinn and herself.
"What do we have here?" Quinn asked.
"I want tell her!" Beth almost yelled, making her mama laughed.
"Go ahead."
"It's chicken and potato stew."
"There's a little bit hot, tho' because you never like the original recipe. There's a bit of chipotle. And some pepper... but not too much." Santana said, and Quinn gave it a try, Beth was already eating and Santana was waiting for Quinn's opinion.
"Mm... Tana! It's delicious."
"Yeah! It is. It's your favorite after all." Santana smiled and Beth started telling Quinn all about her day at pre-k and about one new little girl on her classroom.
The dinner was amazing, the food was delicious. Beth would laughing everytime Santana play with her, and Quinn was happy, she was really happy and for the first time that night she could see her life - before accident with Santana and Beth as a family. She could imagining her mornings with them, her nights; her moments at the studio with Beth and she thought maybe, maybe she shouldn't be scary of remembering everything. Maybe she should just live the moment and not miss this opportunity to reconnect with this amazing girls in front of her. They were her family after all. She could have this chance again. Her second chance.
"I'm done!" Beth announce, cleaning her mouth at the napkin. "Can I have the pie now?"
"What?" Santana frowned.
"How do you know there's pie?" Quinn narrowed her eyes, smirked.
"I saw it." Beth chuckled, and jumped out of the her chair.
"I'll help you, bug."
They ate the pie together, and while Beth was watching some TV, Quinn helped Santana clean the kitchen, to joined Beth. They watched Frozen together and in the end of the movie, Beth felt sleep on her mommy's lap. Santana took the little one to her new bed, and got back to join Quinn. The tv was on, but they weren't pay attention.
"There's something we used to do, is it ok if we try it tonight?" Santana sat besides Quinn, and the blonde nodded. "Alright, let lay down... I want to have you in my arms, is that ok?"
"More than ok, Tana!" They lay down together, Santana was leaning on the couch wrapped her arms around Quinn and they were staring at each other. "This is good."
"You know, every time I look at Beth I see you."
"Yeah?"
"Huh..." Santana started caressing Quinn's face slow. "She has your eyes, your beautiful and cute nose... and of course, she's so much like you. It's amazing how easy it's to read both of you... I can see when you're mad, or happy or even when you're burning your brain thinking too much." They chuckled. "The day you woke up in the hospital bed, I could see how lost you were. And for the first time since we met, I couldn't read you... and I got scared. I knew something was wrong." Quinn learning in, peck Santana lips carefully. "But, lately I feel like you're coming back, I mean... You're open up for me again, and I can read a bit of you. And it's the same with Beth. I'm good at reading my Fabray's girls."
"What else besides our eyes?" Quinn whispered, feeling her heart warming.
"Your hands..." Santana interviewed their fingers together. "It's amazing how you can express yourself with a simples draw or a simple sculpture... Beth is the same, sometimes when she's upset, she just draw or sing... it's kinda cute actually when she start sing. Something she got from you... she love to sing."
"You have a beautiful voice, Tana. I'm sure she got that from us."
"Maybe... but you were always the one singing to her before bed."
"She's amazing and she makes me smile all the time."
"I know right, we're doing an amazing job with her. And oh! Her hair, oh my god! She loves her hair because it looks like mommy's yellow hair." They laughed. "Oh! One day, she was with you at the studio, and she was asking for cookies, and you told her to wait... but of course she didn't. I was in our room looking at my agenda for the next day when I heard... I ran to the kitchen and there was her. She was sitting on the sink and there was flour everywhere."
"Oh my god!" Quinn was laughing imagining all the scene.
"She tried to get the cookie jar, but she got the wrong one, and thank God the jar didn't felt on her head, but in the sink throwing all the flour on her head. God! It took us a week to take all the flour of her hair."
"It's funny now, but I'm sure we got mad in that time."
"Yeah, I mean, I got so pissed! I put her in time out with all the flour, she cried, things got even bad."
"Christ... I will making sure, not flour close to her here."
"Please, you have no idea how hard it was." They laughing and Quinn wish she could remember all this, she could have all her memories with Beth, and for a second, she took her eyes of Santana, playing with the Latina's fingers. "Hey, what's wrong?"
"I wish I could remember all this... all our moments as a family."
"Quinn, look at me..." Santana put her hand on Quinn's chin, lifting her face. "I know it must be hard for you, however we are here now, and you can make new memories with Beth. With your mom and your sister."
"With you..." Quinn whispered. "I want to thank you for tonight."
"Yeah, I can give you new memories... And you don't have to thank me." Santana kissed Quinn's hand. "I haven't done anything, just feed your belly."
"No, silly..." the blonde chuckled. "I'm not talking about that... I'm talking about everything you have done for me. Since the day I woke up you accepted me for who I am. Even if I wasn't the Quinn you knew, you were always there. Always by side, trying to protecting me, loving me... you didn't once told me who I should be, you let me be me. You let me go back to my parents house even knowing everything, you saw how much I need them, and you let me go... I'm sorry I hurt you with the Sam thing. I'm so sorry, Santana. I'm so sorry for everything."
"You don't have to apologizes." They leaned at each other. "I wanted you to be happy, I told you that, I tried to protect you from them, but I couldn't take you away from something you knew. Something you wanted it."
"I don't deserve you; I-"
"Shhh..." Santana peck her lips again. "I love you, beautiful. I love you so much, and I know you don't love me yet, but I hope you can let me in, so I can make you fall for me again. I love you with all my heart, pretty girl."
"Can you — Tana, can you sing for me?" Quinn whispered shy. Santana caressed her face with such a admiration, and love... making sure she have all Quinn's attention.
Maybe it's the way you say my name
Maybe it's the way you play your game
But it's so good, I've never known anybody like you
But it's so good, I've never dreamed of nobody like you
Santana voice was deep in the silence room. Quinn couldn't stop staring at her, she wrapped her arms around the Latina's waist and leaning close.
And I've heard of a love that comes once in a lifetime
And I'm pretty sure that you are that love of mine
'Cause I'm in a field of dandelions
Wishing on every one that you'll be mine, mine
And I see forever in your eyes
I feel okay when I see you smile, smile
Wishing on dandelions all of the time
Praying to God that one day you'll be mine
Wishing on dandelions all of the time, all of the time.
Santana made sure Quinn was looking at her, and she was brushing her fingers at Quinn's arms, and sing the last part.
I think that you are the one for me
'Cause it gets so hard to breathe
When you're looking at me
I've never felt so alive and free
When you're looking at me
I've never felt so happy
And I've heard of a love that comes once in a lifetime
And I'm pretty sure that you are that love of mine
She could feel her heart beating fast, she love this woman in her arms so much, it was crazy. She was sure she could make Quinn fall in love with her again. I mean, she did it once, and Santana would do anything to make that happen again.
Quinn closed her eyes, and she could feel Santana's hot breath against her lips. She brushed it at the Latina's, she didn't want to end that moment, she could stay like that forever... She knows she didn't love Santana yet, but she likes her so much. She felt so stupid for everything, but now, she would make it up for Santana. She wish she could hear Santana's singing forever... that voice. That deep voice and the song she choose... she could help but smile and feel the need to kiss that beautiful woman holding her.
"I want to let in." Quinn whispered, and before Santana could say anything, Quinn was kissing her, it took Santana a minute to registered what was happening, but soon she was kissing back. Every move was to savor the moment, and Quinn's hand brushing on the Latina's neck, putting her for more. They kiss for a moment until it end for it's own. Santana connected their lips for a quick kiss, letting their forehead together.
"I love you, Lucy Quinn Fabray. And I want you to be sure... And-"
"I'm sure. Look..." Quinn had a confidence in her that moment and she couldn't loose that amazing woman. "I know I wasn't good for you at the beginning, and I'm so sorry..."
"Baby..."
"No, please listen to me, Tana. I want you... I want to be with you. I'm sorry for everything, I know I'm not your Quinn for years ago, but I want to be your Quinn for now on. I'm trying to found myself, and I'm fon't know how long it will take, but I want you with me. I don't deserve you, but I want to be enough for you. You're always there to protect me, taking care of me, even when I pushed you away, you were always there, Tana, and I-I want to give us a chance..." Santana couldn't say anything, she was surprised, she was waiting for this for so long, and she couldn't stop the tears in her eyes. "I want to found myself with you by my side. I want to be Beth's mother, and I'm not sure if I'll ever be that Quinn again, but I want to be good enough."
"Baby..." Santana brushed her fingers on Quinn's face, taking some of blonde hair behind her ear. "You don't have to be someone you aren't. I don't want you to be that Quinn from years ago, someone you don't even remember. I want you to be you, baby. I want you to be however you want to be. You don't remember, but you're still the best mommy for Beth, you still the sweet woman I know, and you still have an amazing and big heart that I love so much. I want to help you with whenever you need me. Beth and I will always be here with you, Q."
"I like you, Tana. I really like you."
"And I love you..." they chuckled. "I'm so happy, are you sure this is not a dream?"
"No!" Quinn giggled. "It's not a dream, but if you want, I can pinch you."
"I wouldn't say pinch, but maybe..." Santana started tickle Quinn, and the blonde was laughing hard.
"S-San! S-stop!" She tried to get Santana's hands. "Stop!"
The Latina stop, and peck Quinn's lips several times, kissing her neck and her nose.
"I'll stop, because I don't want Beth to wake up."
"Oh thank you! So..." The blonde's arms wrapped around Santana's body, leaning close, and kissing her neck. "Should we start with a date?"
"Oh so, you're telling me this wasn't a date?"
"No, I mean... yeah, but I was thinking a date more like... just you and me."
"Oh! A romantic date, Quinn Fabray?"
"Maybe..." Quinn smiled. "Can we... Start over?" Santana smiled and stared at Quinn for a second.
"Yes baby, let's start over."
