A/N: sorry for the long hiatus, I am back with a new chapter and three more coming in a few hours or a day...hahahha, this chapter is short but important. Please leave a comment if you have any idea why Naraku is back! I have no idea what Tadahiro's intentions are...do you?
Chapter 40: Yamatoo and Kikyko breakup, (Kikyko's guilt)
"Ugggh," I stammered, Miroku had kneeled next to me with Ishikaro tending to the wound in my arm. Even though the arrows where no longer embedded in my arm and chest, they still hurt. The wounds were still bleeding. Our wounds did partially heal after Kikyko was revived, but the pain was still there.
I turned my eyes to the sliding doors, Kikyko leaned behind them peering in at us. Yamatoo had passed out near me, he was badly wounded by Kikyko's sword, it penetrated his chest and left a large long gaping wound, Jinenji was near him with Sesshomaru tending to him. My father was outside with Koga helping restore some of the villager's homes, Sesshomaru and Ishikaro were going to help them after they tended to us.
"How did she even do this?" Ishikaro said wrapping a white cloth along my shoulder. He turned his eyes to the door then to me. Kikyko saw him look at her and shifted away from the door.
"Like we said Ishikaro, Roku managed to poison her, and it changed her, it was like she completely lost control of who she was," Miroku said to him, he adjusted the sling around his arm. Kikyko peered back through the opening of the door, she noticed me looking at her, and shifted herself behind the door hiding.
"KIKYKO….hey come in here!" I said to her. Ishikaro turned his eyes to the door, he closed his kit and took off his gloves.
"Kikyko, let me check you over….we brought over an antidote for the poison…" Ishikaro started to say. Kikyko's small figure shifted near the opened crack of the door.
"NO, I did this….this is my fault!" she said, she was crying…her words choked through her tears. I let out a deep sigh. I tried to shift to my feet, Miroku and Ishikaro shook their heads and pulled me back against the floor and wall.
"Let me talk to her, she needs her wounds tended too," I said to them. Sesshomaru turned to me.
"When I used Tensaiga on her to revive her, her wounds disappeared InuYasha, Kikyko is not hurt or wounded…" Sesshomaru said to me, he shifted to the floor and leaned against the wall between me and his son. Jinenji stood up, he ran a hand over his forehead. Ishikaro stood up as well.
"Well he should be out for a while, the wound inflicted from Kikyko's sword knocked him out," Ishikaro said looking at Yamatoo. Sesshomaru shook his head.
"How is her sword so powerful, she hasn't broken it in yet and she hasn't bound it to her own strength thus I don't know why….she managed to control and wield it without any hesitation," he said to us.
"Her spiritual powers Sesshomaru, she transferred her powers within the sword, I saw her do it…that's why the entire sky filled with her white light," I said to them. Ishikaro looked over to Kikyko's sword, we managed to retrieve it by dragging it along the ground tied to a rope and brought it back to the temple. Totosai was outside with my father, he was planning on looking over Kikyko's sword after the village was fixed. It was still dark out, no light had come through the sky yet, regardless if it was Sunday morning, we were all shaken and terrified over what we just witnessed. Kikyko using her sword, her own spiritual powers leaving her body, and her changing into a full demon. What the hell happened?
Kikyko shifted away from the door, she ran down the temple steps halfway and sat down along the steps. She pulled her head to her knees and watched my father and Koga as they helped Totosai tend to the villagers.
"Huh!" Kikyko said as a few of Koga's wolves came near her, they sniffed her and sat next to her.
"Oh, hi…" Kikyko said to them. They looked at her and panted. One of the wolves put their head on Kikyko's lap, she smiled and touched her hands over his ears. The other shifted near her and sat down along the stairs.
"Kikyko?" my father said to her, she lifted her head and looked at him.
"Grandpa," Kikyko sighed deeply. He smiled and just as he was about to sit near her the wolves jumped away from Kikyko and ran down the steps of the temple. My father touched his hand to Kikyko's head and shifted next to her, his large stature towered over her. She looked at him then sighed again, she diverted her eyes to Koga and his wolves.
"Why are you so sad?" he said looking at her. Kikyko pulled her head down to her knees and sighed deeply again.
"I hurt everyone grandpa, I did this…I didn't even know how to stop myself from that panther's control. The poison in my neck hurt, and…." She muttered and let out a deep sigh.
"Kikyko! Enough of that, look at me!" my father said to her sternly. Kikyko let out a deep breath, she lifted her head from her knees and turned her eyes to her grandfather.
"That panther may have managed to control you, but he didn't control your mind, I saw a speck of light in you Kikyko, you were fighting against that demon's control," my father said to her, he touched his hand to her chin and turned her face to him. Kikyko shifted to her side and looked at him.
"But grandpa, I couldn't stop myself…." She said to him.
"Listen to me Kikyko, you need to train yourself hard, and work even harder to be able to control your own powers…" he said to her sternly again. She sighed and diverted her eyes elsewhere.
"Dad's hurt…Yamatoo….I was so stupid," she stuttered out, she lifted her hands to her face and cried. My father folded his arms and looked at her.
"Where is your sword? You will train Kikyko and you will work extra hard….do you understand, do not allow what happened on this night happen again Kikyko!" my father said to her again in an agitated voice. She sniffed and ran her hands over her eyes.
"My sword is in the temple," she said to him. He shifted to his feet and extended his hand to Kikyko. She looked up to her grandfather and took his hand.
"I know you transferred your powers into your sword, why?" he asked her, Kikyko stood up.
"Because someone wants to take my spiritual powers, so I had to release it…I had to hide it grandfather, and that someone…won't be able to touch my sword or even wield it…" she said to him. She tapped her clothes and looked at her grandfather again.
"Who wants your sword Kikyko? We will stop them from taking it…" my father touched a hand to her head again. Kikyko let out a deep sigh.
"I don't know grandpa, but I know someone wants to take it…" she said to him. She turned to the stairs and ascended them. My father followed her.
"Hmm, this might be harder than I thought!" he said to himself following Kikyko back to the temple.
Tadahiro's Household
"How did she manage to break through Roku's poison, someone explain that to me…what happened?" Tadahiro said in a loud stern, agitated voice. He grumbled under his breath and shifted his chair along the hard wood flooring of his mansion.
"Father, she broke through his poison, someone shot an arrow at her, her father's sword absorbed her arrows, and those arrows struck her…so her own spiritual powers where thrown at her which caused her to break free," Hero said to his father. He sighed and shook his head.
"Her own spiritual powers, hmmmm…. Interesting! Kikyo that women, said something about the child being powerful, suppressing all of her predecessors," Tadahiro touched his forehead and let out a deep breath.
"We need to rethink this, a new strategy, we must figure out a different tactic with that child…she is smarter than all of us combined and ten times more powerful. I fear if we do not figure out a way to harness her powers and take them from her before we take her, then we may not succeed in kidnapping her," Tadahiro said again. Michiru stood up from the round table.
"Sir, let me be the one to come up with a plan, I have an idea in mind…and it will involve the boy. Yamatoo is a key to capturing her and finding out her weakness! The girl will break up with her boyfriend…there is no way she will live with the guilt of what transpired and what she has done…" Michiru said. Nizu touched her forehead and closed her eyes for a moment.
Hero looked at Nizu as she concentrated.
"Yes, Michiru is right… the girl will break up with her boyfriend, and both will be heartbroken over it…" Nizu said after a few moments. She opened her eyes and looked at Michiru.
"I figured that much!" Michiru said and nodded.
"Well what is this plan you have Michiru, speak…" Tadahiro said to her sternly. She nodded and proceeded to explain her plan.
Kikyko quickly slid opened the doors to the temple. Jeninji and Ishikaro had left our side and joined Koga and Totosai outside. They were tending to the wounded villagers and helping restore what was left of the village. I looked over at Sesshomaru as Kikyko quietly shifted her feet through the next room. I saw her figure behind the paper panels. My father came towards me, he bent down near us.
"She's upset over her actions; she's frustrated and angry…." My father said to us. Sesshomaru turned his head to our father and looked at him.
"Then she needs to get over it and train hard, what happened happened…" I said loudly hoping she would hear me. Sesshomaru looked at me then to Kikyko's small figure as it shifted in the next room.
"We must focus on her training InuYasha, her mother must work extra hard with her on her maiko training and she must learn to wield her sword properly," my father said to us, he shifted to the floor and let out a deep disgruntled gruff. I watched Kikyko as she came around the partition. She pulled her hair from her PJ top and came around her grandfather to us.
"We can not let what happened tonight happen again…right Kikyko?" my father said to her, she nodded and shifted to the floor next to me. I looked at her and touched my hand to her head.
"You feeling okay?" I asked her. She nodded and looked over to her uncle then to Yamatoo.
"He's okay Kikyko, he's asleep, he will be out until sunrise…" Sesshomaru said to her. Kikyko let out a deep sigh and lifted her knees to her chest again. She rested her head on knees and sighed again.
"I'll start a fire and warm up the place, it's gotten a bit cold…let's gather some food and firewood," my father said to us, he tilted his head to Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru looked at him understanding his gesture, he shifted off the floor to his feet and followed my father as they left the temple. The sliding door closed behind them. I turned my eyes to Kikyko and looked at her.
"Kikyko…" I said to her. She sighed and shifted herself away from me slightly.
"I'm sorry I did this…I couldn't stop myself, it's like…I couldn't control my own actions," she said to me in a quiet monotone voice. I sighed and touched her head. She lifted her head from her knees and looked at me. What is that smell…wolf? Kikyko how could you….she smelt that of wolf dogs!
"You smell like wolf!" I said to her and sniffed her. She looked at me and held a hand to her mouth, then I heard her sweet laugh echo through the temple.
"Sorry, Koga's wolves where near me," she laughed again. I grunted and glared at her.
"Well remove the scent off your clothes and wash your hands, I hate the smell of wolves," I said to her. She stopped laughing and looked at me.
"Hehehe, dad they're harmless…they were just being affectionate, besides the wolf dogs are cute!" she said again. I rolled my eyes and ruffled her hair.
"Wash up and remove that scent, you are a half demon, meaning human and dog demon…understood young lady! We are not wolves…." I said to her sternly. She giggled and nodded.
"Fine dad, I'll go change my clothes," she giggled, I lifted my hand from her head. She slid away from me and crawled over towards the partition.
I shook my head watching her child like behavior as she crawled around the panels.
"Huh! Ugh!" Yamatoo's voice stuttered. He shifted near me, I looked at him. He opened his eyes and let out a deep breath.
"Hey try not to move…your wound hasn't fully healed yet, you'll be better by sunrise…" I said to him. His eyes didn't leave the panel, he watched Kikyko's shadow behind the panel and let out a deep sigh.
"She let her demonic form take over…" Yamatoo said in a quiet voice. I looked at him then to Kikyko as she shifted around behind the panel.
"Yamatoo, she's going to get stronger…we can not allow this to happen again! She's going to train hard and work even harder to never allow what happened tonight happen again," I said to him. He shifted against the wall and looked at me.
"I hope so…because she really scared me, seeing her in that…demonic form, she knew nothing, she didn't even know any of us…I know she was trying to fight her demonic self and her spiritual powers where trying to suppress her demonic powers….but when she struck me with that sword…" he said to me.
"….I felt….I felt as if she was suffering, crying for help! And I couldn't do anything to help her…" he said to me again. I looked at him worried. Kikyko transferred her spiritual powers into her sword, she struck us with her arrows and her sword….and her own body was struggling….crying to be released from her demonic grasp. I looked at Yamatoo for a moment then lifted my eyes to Kikyko as she came around the panel.
He turned his head to her as she came towards us.
"Oh…Yamatoo!" she said noticing him awake. I smiled and slowly shifted against the wall, I lifted myself up to my feet.
"Dad, don't get up…you shouldn't move!" Kikyko said worried. She came towards me and held her hands to my arm. I smiled and touched her face.
"I need some air, besides I'm hungry and your grandfather hasn't brought any food in yet…I'm going to find that old man…." I said to her. She smiled then giggled.
"So…you're going to yell at grandfather because he didn't bring in food yet, maybe they're hunting dad!" she said to me. I rubbed my hand against her cheek.
"Yup! That's right kiddo….behave you two!" I said to them, I awkwardly ambled myself to the sliding door. Kikyko followed me, she slid opened the door and closed it behind me as I left the temple. She leaned against the door and let out a deep breath.
"Kikyko…we need to talk!" Yamatoo said to her, he shifted himself against the wall, so he was sitting upright. Kikyko turned to him, she leaned against door and looked at him.
"You need to work extra hard Kikyko, I know school starts tomorrow…but you have to work hard Kikyko, you must….when I saw you in your demonic form like that…you scared me!" he said to her. He shifted the kimono that was draped over his shoulders against his arms.
Kikyko sighed and let out a deep breath.
"Yamatoo…" she said to him. He held his hand up to her.
"…please let me finish!" he said to her. She shook her head.
"We can't be together Yamatoo…I…I want to break up," she said to him. He looked at her surprised.
"What? Are you joking…or is this part of the plan we talked about yesterday?" he said to her. She shook her head.
"I can't bare this, what I did Yamatoo…I did it because I was poisoned by a panther, who's to say this won't happen again. I can't control myself…I couldn't control myself." She started to say. He looked at her and shook his head.
"We are not breaking up; we can stick to the plan and pretend to break up…but I refuse to lose you over this!" he said to her sternly. She sighed and slide down against the door to the floor.
"I'm sorry Yamatoo but….I can't be with you, I'm dangerous…and you'll get hurt again, I know you will and next time….I don't know what will happen!" she said to him. She sighed and remained against the door.
"Kikyko…there won't be a next time, you need to be the one to figure this out, fix it…work hard and train hard," he said to her. She pressed her mouth together and then grunted.
"I CAN'T YAMATOO, I can't fix this…this is who I am, I'm a half demon with spiritual powers. My demonic self Yamatoo its way to powerful, what I felt tonight…what I felt surge through my body, I couldn't stop it. Inside me… my spiritual powers and my demonic powers were at war with eachother, I felt it….and I couldn't control either side, I couldn't…" she stuttered her words. She held her hands to her face and started to cry. Yamatoo shifted himself against the floor, he slid near her.
My father, Sesshomaru, Miroku and I where outside near the temple doors when we heard Kikyko's angry voice behind the sliding temple doors. We heard almost everything, from the point where Kikyko said she wanted to break up with Yamaoo…up until now. My father held his hand to my shoulder so I would not open the door, Sesshomaru clenched his hands at this side. He was worried and concerned for Kikyko and Yamatoo, he took a step towards the door. My father held his hand out to him as well holding him back.
"They need to sort this out themselves, if they do break up….let it happen, do not get involved, either one of you! Kikyko needs to figure this out on her own," my father said to us. Miroku shifted to my side and touched my shoulder.
"He's right, regardless if this hurts them, Kikyko is the one to fix this! She needs to figure out who she is and how to control herself, Yamatoo will be okay….but we need to support both of them and help them however way we can," Miroku said to me. I looked at him and let out a deep sigh. We all stood silent and listened.
"Kikyko…we are not breaking up over this, just because you feel as if you can't control either part of who you are doesn't mean I won't help you, or support you….I want to help you through this Kikyko!" Yamatoo said to her, he touched his hands against hers. She shook his hands away.
"I want to break up Yamatoo…move on and forget about me!" she mumbled through her hands.
"We are not breaking up Kikyko!" he said to her and folded his arms. She pulled her hands from her face and looked at him. Her face was soppy with tears. He sighed and touched her face. She turned her eyes elsewhere and moved his hand from her face.
"I'm serious…please, I want to break up Yamatoo! You can't be around me, I'm too dangerous…I don't even understand why everyone isn't angry with me….I hurt my own father, I could have killed him….I wanted to kill my own father Yamatoo! Do you know how that makes me feel now… knowing that all I wanted to do was hunt my own father…it wasn't the voice in my head Yamatoo. It was me, I wanted to kill my own father…my own demonic form wanted to kill my father," Kikyko said to him in a loud angry tone of voice. I looked at the door when I heard her say this.
"Stop it Kikyko! You are stronger then this soppy cry baby girl in front of me, you almost killed your father….okay, but you didn't, now work hard so that it won't happen again!" Yamatoo said to her sternly.
"Like I said, we're done Yamatoo…I have nothing more to say on this!" she said to him. She shifted away from him, she shifted herself to her feet. He looked at her and let out a deep grunt. He was angry and I could tell from the way he growled under his breath, I let out a deep sigh and listened again.
"Fine! So be it!" Yamatoo said angry. Kikyko looked at him for a moment then made her way towards the partition, she shifted around the panel and to the opposite side of the room.
"Sesshomaru, InuYasha….do not confront them, do not talk to them about this…this must be sorted out between themselves," Miroku said to us. He came around me and stood in front of the door he looked at us and adjusted the sling against his arm.
"No, know what she needs right now Miroku, a good grounding, I'm going to ground her ass…." I said agitated. I crossed my arms and looked at him. My father touched my shoulder and Sesshomaru's.
"Do not punish her InuYasha for her actions, allow them to figure this out on their own. We must train her, be hard on her and make her break InuYasha, only Kikyko can control both sides within herself," my father said to me. He came past us and past Miroku, he slid opened the doors and went into the temple. Sesshomaru followed him as well.
"Step aside Miroku, I was serious about grounding her ass," I said to him. Miroku looked at me and stood at the door without moving. He let out a deep sigh and shook his head.
"Your angry and upset with her actions…I understand this, this might be for their own good right now InuYasha, grounding her won't solve the problem at hand…we must tell Kagome and Sango of this. Let her mother be the one to deal with her actions, we know Kagome and Sango will break her…." Miroku said to me. I scuffed and let out a grunt. Why is he right? How is he always right? I sighed and gave a slight nod to him. He turned to the sliding door and went in, I let out a deep breath and touched my face.
"Great! You better work your ass of Kikyko, that's all I have to say on this…because if you don't, I don't know what will happen next time…." I said to myself. I looked up at the black sky and let out another deep breath.
Day break….dawn Sunday Morning 5AM!
As the sun shone through the entire temple, everyone was awake and preparing for our trip home. Kikyko was outside with Miroku while I was with Sesshomaru and my father inside the temple, Totosai had given the new swords a talisman for their sheaths to protect the children when they used them.
"Aye! InuYasha, that child of yours…. train her, and train her hard….she is most dangerous and her sword will break if she persists on this path of destruction," Totosai said to us. He looked over Kikyko's sword and pushed it into its sheath.
"What do you mean her sword will break…speak up old man! What do you know?" I said to him sternly. Totosai bent down to the bag and pushed Kikyko's sword inside the bag along with everyone else's.
He stood up and looked me dead in the eyes, this scared me. My father looked at Totosai and to Sesshomaru who was busy helping Yamatoo with our bags. Sesshomaru followed Yamatoo out of the temple, and to the village.
"…That child is the reincarnation of all the dead priestess before her, she carries her mother's spiritual powers and your demonic powers, however…her demonic self is sealed. Last night, a simple drop of poison released her demonic self, and she allowed it to happen. I watched this unfold with that panther, I did not act to stop it because that panther would have killed her and taken her life," Totosai said to us. He yawned and plopped down on the floor. I growled and crouched down to him.
"WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU DO ANYTHING OLD MAN, all of this wouldn't have happened if you only acted on your instincts….stupid old…" I was about to strike him when my father stopped me. He kneeled next to me and shook his head.
"Aye Aye stop your barking InuYasha! I allowed it to happen because I needed to see if that child was worthy of a sword, after what I saw, she is not worthy of a weapon such as this…therefore you must seal this weapon, the monk must use a sutra on this weapon and seal it until the child is broken," Totosai said again. He yawned and tapped his face.
"Totosai, we will be the one's to train Kikyko so this never happens again, so that if she ever did encounter those panthers again she will be able to fight their grasp on her no matter what it is," my father said to him. Totosai looked at him and shook his head.
"Aye my lord, she may be able to subdue their powers but she will never be able to withstand their poison….you InuYasha….you raised a weak little girl, I am disappointed such a child of the great master InuYasha is like this your son, is even more powerful then she is…." Totosai said to me, I clenched my hand into a fist and growled. Who does he think he is speaking like this about my Kikyko….stupid old man!
"STUPID OLD MAN! Never speak of Kikyko like that again, she is not weak! Her mother and I, we did not raise a weak daughter…don't ever say that again," I growled at him, I stood up and picked up the bag with all the children swords in it. I swung it over my shoulder and walked out of the room to the next room, where we slept that night.
My father watched me as I bent down for Tetsusaiga, I pulled the sword to my waist and looked over to Totosai. My father stood up and just as he was about to come to the next room Kikyko's phone rang on her bag. I tilted my head to her phone, she left her bag near the sliding doors, I went over to her bag and picked up her phone.
"If it is your wife, answer her….and we must be on our way InuYasha, tell her of what happened. This must only be resolved with your wife training your daughter and breaking her," my father said behind me. He came towards me and touched my shoulder as he left through the opened sliding doors. I slid the green bar on Kikyko's phone and answered Kagome.
"Huh oh Kikyko good morning, are you awake sweetheart?" Kagome's voice chimed on the other end. I smiled and answered her.
"Good morning ma….eerrr…uhhh," I said in a loud squeaky high-pitched voice. I heard Kagome sigh and then mumble.
"That was the worst impression of your daughter InuYasha, I hope you strained your voice doing that…." she said to me from the other end. I chuckled and picked up Kikyko's bag. I slung it over my shoulder as well.
"Yeah well you automatically assumed it was your daughter, so she answered you," I said to her coming through the door. The sun was so bright, I looked up to the sky and squinted my eyes for moment. Kikyko had disappeared with her uncles, I ran down the stairs looking for her.
"Well since I got my husband on the phone and not my daughter, how are you? Are you heading home today?" she asked me, her voice sounded quiet. I assumed my entire house was still asleep and it was only Kagome awake. I heard her shuffling around with something, maybe she was in the kitchen.
"We are, we're loading up the cars now as we speak…" I said to her and made my way through the village. I looked around the village. The entire village was quiet, possibly still asleep, everything was calm…the homes where rebuilt and the entire village was peaceful. As if nothing happened last night.
I sighed and made my way to the gate, one of the officers at the gate nodded to me, he smiled and opened the gate. Kikyko was already in the back seat of Miroku's car. Sesshomaru, Yamatoo and my father were loading Yamatoo's car with their bags.
"Good I'm glad, I missed both of you…" she said then I heard Makoto's voice cry.
"There there…shhhh hey everyone is still asleep little one," Kagome answered her. I smiled and passed Kikyko's bag over to Miroku as I came towards the car. He looked at me and took it, then he took the bag with the swords from me.
"Is she okay? Why's Makoto crying?" I asked a little concerned. Kagome's voice hummed then I heard her voice trail off. She was talking to Makoto trying to calm her down.
"This little one is teething pretty good, at least 4 or 5 are coming in, she didn't sleep last night…" Kagome said to me again. Then I heard Makoto stop crying.
"Awe, well I'll drop by to a store and get her something cold for her teeth," I said to her. Kagome chuckled.
"That would be great, maybe ice cream….she might like to try something like that," she said to me quietly. Miroku looked at me and nodded, he went over to Sesshomaru's car, I watched him as he discussed the plan for today driving back home.
"I'm feeding Makoto right now InuYasha, so I'll let you go so you can get on the road…don't be late, we're having a huge lunch prepared for all of us," Kagome said to me. I chuckled at this.
"We should be home by noon or 1pm, hey Kagome…when we get home, there's something we need to discuss," I said to her and came around the car to the passenger side. Kikyko had sprawled along the back seat and had fallen asleep.
"Oh, is something wrong?" she asked concerned.
"Yeah, something happened while we were here….but I won't tell you all the details over the phone, best leave it at that…please let Sango know, after lunch we need to talk!" I said to her. She let out a deep sigh I think she may have figured out what happened.
"Alright InuYasha, be careful driving home," she said to me. I smiled and looked at Miroku as he came to the driver's side.
"We will, see you soon!" I said to her. She hummed to Makoto and the phone clicked. I pushed Kikyko's phone to my pocket.
"We'll have two stops along the way, and we'll get Makoto some ice cream," Miroku said to me. I nodded to him and reached for the door handle.
"InuYasha, do not say a word to Kikyko about last night…lets not bring anything up about her actions, Yamatoo is upset as it is….we do not need to make things worse for either of them," Miroku said to me. I looked at Kikyko as she slept and nodded.
"Kagome said they'll be preparing a big lunch, like usual…after that, we need to discuss this!" I said to him. He nodded and opened his door. I did as well. Yamatoo came around us and honked at us as we adjusted our seatbelts.
"Let's head home!" Miroku said to me. He started the car and pulled out of the lot behind Yamatoo.
Tadahiro's household
"Excellent plan Michiru, Setsuna will play that roll well, have her warmup to the boy….and take him, that will throw the girl into jealous rage. It would be a perfect time for you to plant the pregnancy test after that point, excellent idea…let's see how long it will take for that girl to break!" Tadahiro said to her. Michiru and Setsuna both nodded to Tadahiro, then diverted their eyes to the door. Roku sighed and yawned bored with the meeting. He turned his eyes to the doors as a maid opened the glass doors.
"Ah he's here!" Tadahiro said looking to the doors. Hero, Roku and Nizu stood up. Setsuna did as well next to Michiru. Tadahiro adjusted his tie and stood as a man in a baboon cloak came through the door.
"Who is that father…." Hero asked watching this figure as it approached their long round table, the man floated in almost like as if hovering over the floor. Tadahiro extended his hand out to him.
"Everyone has heard of Naraku, the half demon man who sought the Shikon No Tama? Enemy of the dog demon and his pack…." he said to him. The man behind the baboon cloak stood near the table and a laugh erupted from his chest. He pulled the head of the cloak down. He was Naraku but a younger version of him, unrecognizable to anyone, he was built, tall, had long black hair with three strips of white that ran through his hair, and his eyes where that of a blue color. His face was young and had a slight teenage appearance to it.
Nizu, Michiru and Setstuna blushed a little. Michiru looked away from him and bowed, so did Setsuna.
"Ah welcome Naraku," Tadahiro said to him. The man pulled the cloak off his body completely and let it fall to the floor at his feet.
"I am surprised Tadahiro, you restored me to my body, although I do look different….I am impressed by your abilities, this body should do well….for now!" Naraku said to him. Tadahiro smirked. He waved his hand to a chair, Naraku looked at him and pulled the chair out, he sat down. Everyone else at the table sat down again.
"So he was the one in the cocoon who you were experimenting…creating in the basement?" Hero said to his father.
"Yes, Naraku…a witch the women who restored Kikyko to her body helped restore Naraku to his, his body is made of his ashes, and graveyard soil. He is alive but, in a sense, he is dead as well," Tadahiro said to him. Roku and Hero sniffed the air. Roku held a hand to his nose.
"Sir, why bring him back why is he needed?" Roku said looking at the man who sat next to him. Naraku turned his eyes to Roku. Roku shifted his chair slightly away from him and near Setsuna.
"He is needed, I need him to fullfill a mission…he is vital to capturing the girl and bringing her to us, he is also the one who will get close to the dog demons family…" Tadahiro said to everyone at the table. Michiru folded her arms in frustration.
"Sir but I am employed by the dog and his family, I will be there this entire week at their home, why is he needed…" Michiru said in an agitated voice. Tadahiro smiled and looked over to Naraku.
"Ah! You see Michiru even though your role is to be the family house keeper, his role is to get close to the girl, and to her family…after all Naraku knows InuYasha and his entire family better then any of us," Tadahiro said to them. Hero looked over to Naraku.
"So, you fought InuYasha and his companions 21 years ago?" Hero said trying to figure out his father's true intentions with the demon man before them.
"Aye yes I did boy, I know that demons ever move, my skills will surely come in handy….now tell me, what of Kikyko? I hear she has returned, why has she been brought back?" Naraku asked Tadahiro. Roku eyed him Naraku and let out a deep breath. Naraku's sent was that of graveyard soil, until his scent subsides, he filled the room with a musk and wet soil scent.
Tadahiro nodded, he started to explain how Kikyo was dispatched from Kikyko's body and everything that has happened and their mission to take Kagome and Kikyko's life and destroy our family.
"Is that so! And you think just by capturing the daughter of InuYasha that all will be won, absolutely not…his wife that women, she is powerful extremely powerful, and with Kikyo separating from the child's body….that is not a good sign. If the women, the wife of InuYasha, Kagome…were to find out how Kikyko left Kikyko's body and why, she will destroy the priestess and her soul…Kikyo's soul will return to the girl, then you will have a much bigger problem on your hands…Tadahiro!" Naraku said to everyone.
"Excellent! Well this is where you come along, I returned you to this world Naraku to help us…I will explain my plan after we feast, we will celebrate your alliance with our clan," Tadahiro said to Naraku. Naraku hit his fist against the table and growled.
"Who said anything about an alliance, discuss this plan you have Tadahiro then I will decide, do not forget, once my strength and abilities return to me….I can easily destroy you and your entire family, do not….test me!" Naraku said to them. Hero looked at Nizu then to his father.
"Uhh….well…." Hero started to say. Tadahiro held his hand up to his son and pushed his chair out from the table.
"Naraku….in this time frame you will be known as Mr. Takagi, around us we will call you Naraku. Now let us talk!" Tadahiro said to him. Naraku slid his chair out as well. Tadahiro stood from his chair and gestured his hand to the patio doors. Naraku stood up and followed him to the patio.
"I have a bad feeling about this…" Hero said to everyone at the table. Roku released his hand from his nose and let out a deep breath.
"That man smells of soil and musk, I hate it!" Roku said to Hero.
"What do you think the master is up too? That man has a very strong scent, it will subside but….I am nervous with this man being here," Nizu said to Hero, he touched his hand to hers and looked over to Roku and Michiru.
"Follow the plan as discussed, I'll find out why father brought Naraku to our world and his intentions," Hero said to everyone. Roku nodded to him, he stood up and turned to the glass doors, the maid held the doors opened.
"Yes Hero, we will continue with our plan!" Michiru said to him, Setsuna nodded and both stood up they followed Roku to the large kitchen dinning area.
"Hero I'm worried…" Nizu said to him. He let out a deep breath and looked at her.
"Don't worry Nizu, I will not allow anything to happen to any of us, or our unborn child!" he said touching his hand against her bulging stomach. She smiled and nodded to him.
"What has father done….why did he bring that demon back!" Hero said to himself.
