A/N: Chapter 3!

Turn my grief to grace.

He never went to church or a chapel ever since Jenna Fox died. Until now.

His squad smuggled a wheelchair for him while Olivia's team looks out for any medical personnel who might stop him from moving. Thankfully no one saw them, or probably they just turned blind.

I've lost everything.

She's still in the operating room.

They still don't know what happened to her.

And it's killing him. Part of him wants to barge in, see it for himself. But he knows the doctors will do everything to save her. They know Olivia. They know how important she is to the people around her.

"Still no update?" He asks Fin who is standing behind him.

"Nothing, they are probably still fixing her." Fin said sitting beside him.

"You think he might be sick of me?" Elliot said, talking about the man in the cross.

"If he's sick of you, you might never have a job again." The sergeant said, both men chuckled.

"Liv's important for us, he knows that."

"Does he? Because if he knows, why is he making us suffer, Fin?"

"You know, Liv goes to church every sunday." Fin said.

Elliot smiles, "She did?" Fin nodded, "Unitarian, after she baptized her son, something miraculous happened, every sunday she went there and listened to the pastor's sermon."

"Good for her." He said. "Did Noah already know what happened to his mom?"

"I already called Lucy, we both agreed not to tell him right away," Fin said.

"I just want her to live," Elliot said as his tears started to fall.

"So am I," Fin said as he looked at the altar once again.

"Sergeant Stabler. What can I do for you?" Judge Linden said.

"Has anyone taken interest in Baby Boy Doe?" He asks.

"None that I know of, except Sergeant Benson. Why?" The judge said Elliot fell silent for a while.

"Are you interested in adopting Baby Boy Doe?"

"Oh, no no, If there's anyone who deserves him, It should be Liv." He said.

Judge Linden looked at him, "You know Benson wasn't—"

"Olivia Benson is capable of everything, Your honor," He said. "She's been alone her whole life…This is her chance now. So please, consider her to foster the child. You won't regret it."

PRESENT DAY

"I know it's been a long time, But here I am asking something impossible for you." Elliot said

"Olivia...she's been through hell ever since she was a child."

Nothing is like it seems,

Where do I begin?

"She didn't know who her father was, her mother didn't love her the way she loves her son now, Her son–" He said, swallowing the lump on his throat, "Noah is too young to have lost his mom, So please…please, save her."

"I'll do everything you want, I'll change whatever you wanted me to be, but please, save Olivia. I'm begging you...Save the person that I love the most. I don't care if it will cost my life as long as she will live, watch her son grow, I don't care, you hear me? SAVE HER PLEASE! God," He cried. "Please…"

"I just want her to live and say that I love her. I love Olivia. I–I never loved anyone this way except her. She sacrificed her own happiness just to make sure that I have still a family to go home to, even if–even if it hurts her so badly. She saved me a million times and I will be forever grateful for that…Let her live. Make her name have a purpose. Liv. Save her from all the pain that she's suffering right now. That's all I can ask." Elliot said, as he exited the chapel, "That's all I ask you."

"Come on, Olivia." Maureen said as she continued to pump Olivia's chest. the line was already flat. But the eldest Stabler still didn't give up.

"Maureen, you need to–"

"DON'T MAKE ME STOP!" She shouted.

"Let her go, Dr. Stabler." Kyle said.

Maureen didn't listen to Kyle, "No. She will be alive...I know she will...come on, Liv….you got this…"

"Maureen," Beresford said, taking off Maureen's hands on Olivia's chest "Let go…"

"No! Get off of me! Get—"

"There's nothing we can't do, Dr. Stabler!"

Maureen Stabler looked at Kyle and finally burst into tears, "No…" Kyle wrapped her in his arms. "It's ok...Maureen..It's ok." He whispered as he looked at Olivia, "It's going to be ok."

When you were a little girl you watched your mother drinking, falling apart.

Beat.

You realized that your father hurt your mother.

Beat.

Years later, you were in a situation when a horrible man is hurting another person.

Beat.

You've been fighting for yourself for a very, very long time.

"I have something for you," Elliot said, a shit eating grin plastered on his face. Olivia lifted one of her brows, "I told you, I don't celebrate my birthday."

"Well now, you do." He said. "Open it." pushing the box into her.

"What's this?" She chuckled, opening the box "If this is–"

"Happy Birthday, Olivia." He said.

"El, I…I don't know what to say." She said looking at him, teary-eyed.

"I know that no matter how your mom hurt you, You still loved her. So, I took one of her photos in your albums and put it in a locket, so wherever you go, She's always with you." He said.

Olivia smiled, "It's beautiful. Thank you." She said hugging him. Elliot smiled and kissed her temple,

"You're welcome."

Beat.

"Dr. Stabler?" One of their nurses said. "I think she's coming back." Kyle and Maureen looked at the monitor and true enough, Olivia's slowly coming back to life.

"Oh my god, Ok...go check her vital signs right now, Dr. Beresford, let's finish this." Maureen said as they went back to work.

"Thank you for fighting, Olivia."

"We need to observe her for quite some time. All I can say for now is that she's out of the woods," Kyle said, Fin shakes his hand "Thank you, Dr. Beresford."

"I'm just doing my job," He said.

"You said that there's another doctor who helped you, can you tell us her name so that we can thank her?" Amanda asked.

Kyle smiled, "There's no need. I think she would be grateful too because you are here for Liv. Please tell me I said hi when she woke up."

"Will do, Doc." Kat said as the doctor exited the room.

"Whew, that was close. Thank you for not dying, Liv." The blonde detective said.

"I'm gonna tell, Elliot. Y'all watch Olivia." Fin said

"Sure, Sarge."

Fin was walking down the hallway when he saw a familiar face, "Maureen Stabler?"

"Oh, hi Fin, how's Liv?" Maureen said.

"She's recovering, right now. Heard something from your dad?"

"Dad's in his room, resting. I'm gonna go…" Maureen said

"Oh yeah, yeah. Maybe I'll just talk to your dad later." Fin said

"Ok. See ya."

"Thank you, by the way."

The young doctor stops in her tracks, she then turns to Fin and smiles, "You're welcome."

Nothing can bring me peace,

I just wanna feel your embrace.
