Drama Nation - Episode 5, Part 2 - You Don't Care About This Town

"The World Wide Web?" Courtney said in confusion, gazing at her newest card. "Well I'd assume it was after the USSR."

Courtney, 15, Town Council: The rest of my district wasn't much help. Lindsay thought Einstein was a type of beer.

"The yellow and blue districts now have seven cards each!" Chris announced.

"I got it! I got it-I got it!" Dawn squealed as she ran back to her team.

Harold rushed to take the card from her, and he and Ezekiel looked at it.

"The Vietnam War begins," Harold read.

"1955," they both said at the same time.

After a little re-arranging, they placed it in between 'China becomes communist' and 'Argentina invades the Falkland Islands'.

"Go! Go!" the girls shouted as Harold ran to press the button of the barrel.

"And the blues think they've got it!" Chris announced as he went over to them. "Marco Polo visits China, The Black Death, Copernicus discovers the Earth goes around the sun, India gains independence from the UK, China becomes communist, Vietnam War begins, Argentina invades the Falkland Islands, Nelson Mandela becomes President of South Africa…you are right! Blue district gets upper class!"

The blues all jumped up and down and cheered. Harold gave Ezekiel a hug, which startled him a little.

Harold, 13, Town Council: Yes! I don't mean to brag, but could Bridgette have done that?

Shawn, 9, Alberta: We got upper class again…but Harold still stinks.

Noah looked like he was going to pull his face off in frustration.

"Not again," he groaned.

B handed him a card, and he scoffed and rolled his eyes. "New Zealand is the first country to let women vote. How am I meant to know that?"

"It was in the 1890s, but I can't remember the year," Cameron said thoughtfully.

"That'll do, Wikipedia," Noah smirked, placing it to the right of 'Canada achieves self-government.'

Sky sweated as she looked at her district's stand. The other districts were at least close to finished and the greens still only had four.

"Oh," she groaned. "I'm really not sure. Romeo and Juliet was definitely before the Civil War?"

"Oh yeah," Geoff replied. "It's, like, 500 years old."

"Hm," Sky said, putting her hand to her cheek.

"M-M-Mona Lisa," Owen panted, running back to his team. He tried to hand Noah the card but he dropped it short of his hand.

Noah picked it up, and in the meantime Cameron had made room between 'Battle of Hastings' and 'Canada achieves self-government'.

Noah ran over to the barrel and rang the bell.

"And the red district is done!" Chris announced, coming over and reading the cards. "Fall of the Roman Empire, Battle of Hastings, Da Vinci paints the Mona Lisa, Canada achieves self-government, New Zealand is the first country to let women vote, The Wall Street Crash, Martin Luther King's I Have A Dream speech, First Man on the Moon…"

"You are absolutely right! Red district are the merchants!"

The red district cheered, with the exception of Amy.

Amy, 9, New Brunswick: Ugh, what's wrong with my team? They're slacking off.

"Here you go," Katie said, giving Courtney an eighth card.

"Finally," she sighed, placing it on the stand.

Courtney ran over to the bell and gave it a ring.

"Okay, now Yellow District is making an attempt," Chris said, wringing his hands. "Birth of Jesus, America declares independence, French Revolution, Einstein publishes E=MC2, World War I begins, USSR collapses, World Wide Web is launched, Collapse of the Twin Towers."

"Wrong! Try again!"

"What!?" Courtney shouted, stomping her foot.

"Don't blame me for your failures," Chris smirked, then he clicked his tongue.

Jasmine came over to Sky with another card.

"Thank you," Sky replied.

"And I also found this," Jasmine added, giving her another one. "It was on the ground. Someone must have dropped it."

"Thank you again," Sky laughed, and she read the card. "The Russian Revolution."

Courtney's eye twitched as she went through the sequence.

"Birth of Jesus…obviously first. The American and French Revolutions were back to back. Was Einstein after World War One? And was the Internet before the USSR collapsed? I guess it must have been…"

She switched the two, and then she looked back at the Einstein and World War cards.

"No," she decided. "One change at a time. Or I'll confuse myself."

She went to press the button once again.

"You called?" Chris said with rolled eyes. He had a scan over the cards again. "Mmm. Hmm? Mmm…"

"Absolutely correct. Yellow District are the cooks!" Chris announced. "Green district are the labourers again – three minutes left!"

Jo put a card down on the workspace, and Sky and DJ looked at it.

"World War 2 begins. 1939," DJ said.

They placed it between Russian Revolution and Berlin Wall, though Geoff and Brick were still trying to arrange the first few cards.

"When was America discovered?" Geoff asked as he scratched his face. "I know Romeo and Juliet was written a long time ago 'cus it has all that fancy talk."

"No card!" Eva shouted as she ran back. "Can you guys get in line beforehand!?"

"I'll go," Ella said, catching the stick while running off.

"We just need one more," Jo said in frustration, clenching her fists.

"30 seconds!" Chris exclaimed.

Lightning ran out next, and he stopped and scratched his head.

"Lightning doesn't see no pinatas," he said.

"They're all around you!" Jo yelled at him.

Lightning looked around and ran to one on his left.

He began beating it as Chris and the other districts counted down – "Ten…nine…eight…seven…six…"

Lightning panted desperately as the pinata burst open.

"Come on, card, card," he grunted as he looked all over the ground.

"It's not there! Just get back!" Jo screeched.

"Time's up!" Chris announced, and everyone groaned.

Jo, 10, Alberta: Labourers for a fourth time! They're rigging this against us!

"Sorry green. You lose," Chris said. "Since you guys didn't complete the showdown in half-an-hour, you do not get a reward. Here's what you could have got!"

He pulled the rope off the first crate, revealing a number of barbecues with meat on them.

"Ribs, chicken, hamburgers, hotdogs – a monster barbecue!" Chris announced.

More groaning ensued.

Shawn, 9, Alberta: [bangs his fist on his lap] Hotdogs! I want hotdogs!

"You liked that, did you?" Chris smirked. "Well it's time for me to show you choice 2, something you guys really needed."

He pulled the string off the smaller crate, revealing a few buckets of dental supplies.

"Toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, floss!" Chris exclaimed.

Noah, 12, Town Council: Nope. We're not provided with toothpaste. All they give us is this old fashioned powder – and we're meant to put it on with our fingers. It's so gross.

Harold sighed to himself as he sat at the bar, which was now being managed by Cameron, Cody and B.

"Here you go, dude," Cody said, pouring some root beer into a glass.

"Thanks," Harold smiled. "This election is stressing me out."

"Same. I have no idea who I'm gonna vote for," Cody replied. "Do you think you're going to stay on the council?"

"Yeah, I think so," Harold replied. "I'm worried Shawn and Beth won't vote for me, but other than that I should be fine."

"Sounds like you're pretty confident," Cody shrugged.

Harold, 13, Town Council: I don't know…even though there's no reason for anyone else to vote against me, I feel there could be a chance I won't stay on the council. Probably just nerves.

Ella hummed to herself as she skipped over to one of the outhouses, only to be whisked away by Lightning and Jo.

"Hey! Put me down!" she cried as she was carried over to one of the bushes. They got Ella back to her feet and stood on either side to prevent her from escaping.

"You listen here, fairy princess," Jo hissed. "You are going to vote for Lightning in the next election."

Ella gasped, then she belted out a C arpeggio. "La, la, la, la, la, la, la."

"Shut up!" Jo snapped.

But Ella didn't stop. She did it again and again, getting louder each time.

"Ella, if you don't stop singing, I will…AHHHH!" Jo was interrupted when two golden eagles swooped out of nowhere and started attacking Jo and Lightning.

"What the hey!?" Lightning shouted as he came face to face with them. The birds squawked and scraped at their faces and necks.

Ella slipped away while she had the chance, and blew the eagles a kiss.

Jo, 10, Alberta: What the heck was that? I swear the universe is out to get me.

Sammy helped Gwen put up campaign posters outside the dry goods store, when Owen came up to them.

"Hey, cool poster," he said. "Gwen, I have some bad news."

"What?" Gwen asked, turning to face him.

"B and Cameron said they're voting for Noah, and now even Cody has changed his mind," Owen replied.

"What!?" Gwen exclaimed, dropping the poster.

"Hey, don't shoot the messenger," Owen said defensively.

"I know. I'm sorry," Gwen replied, shaking her head. "Why has Cody changed his mind?"

"I dunno. He just said something about how Noah deserves another chance," Owen shrugged. "I still fully support you, but it's not looking good. I'm sorry."

Gwen sighed, then she looked back at Owen. "Can you stay here with Sammy for a bit? I need to do something."

"Sure," Owen replied.

"And make sure Amy doesn't come near her," Gwen added sternly.

"Got it," Owen said, giving her a salute. "She'll be totally safe with me around."

Gwen gave him a thumbs' up, then she walked off.

Noah was having a nap in the red bunkhouse when there was a knock on the door.

"No Lightning no!" he yelled as his eyes popped open.

He sighed and sat up, "Who is it?"

The door opened and Gwen stepped inside.

"Ah, Gwen, so good to see you," Noah said snarkily, lying back down and putting his hands behind his head.

"We need to talk," Gwen told him.

"You're here to surrender?" Noah smirked.

"No." Gwen slammed the door behind her. "Look, whether or not I win, you should re-think your position on swapping."

"Gwen, like I said before…"

"It's not for me," Gwen interrupted. "It's for Sammy."

"Who?" Noah asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Samey. You know her as Samey, but her name is really Sammy," Gwen clarified. "She's being bullied by Amy and the other girls in the district."

"How? What have they done?" Noah asked.

"Izzy gave Sammy a black eye, and they threatened to beat her up this morning," Gwen listed with her fingers. "And at home Amy has done stuff like push her down the stairs and show everyone her underwear on stage. It's just not safe for them to be together."

Noah looked a little shocked.

"I'll see what I can do, but I can't promise it will get through the council," he said.

"Okay. Thanks," Gwen nodded uncertainly.

"Close the door when you leave," Noah yawned as he settled back down.

Noah, 12, Town Council: What? Gwen would willingly get rid of someone who's gonna vote for her? Score!

Katie and Sadie were in the mess hall making campaign posters when Heather came over to them.

"Looking good, you guys," she said. "Katie, don't use yellow. Nobody will be able to see it."

"Sorry," Katie replied, using an orange pencil instead.

"What do you think of this?" Sadie asks, holding up one of hers.

"Heather is our hero," Heather read. "Aw, thank you guys."

"The slogan was your idea," Sadie reminded.

"I know," Heather said. "Have you guys seen Lindsay?"

"Not since the showdown. I think she went off with Tyler," Katie answered.

"Tyler," Heather said between grit teeth. "I mean, thanks."

Heather left the mess hall as Lindsay and Tyler came by holding hands.

"Guess what, Heather? Me and Tyler are a couple now!" Lindsay said brightly.

"That's nice," Heather replied unenthusiastically. "Can I talk to you in private?"

"Oh, it's okay. Tyler helped me out," Lindsay replied. The wannabe jock grinned at this.

"Oh my God…" Heather did her best not to lash out. "What did you find out?"

"Uh…" Lindsay and Tyler both hesitated.

"We heard Duncan," Tyler blurted out.

"Yes, yes, and he was with Trent," Lindsay added.

"Okay. What were they talking about?" Heather asked, hands on her hips.

"Um…uh…" Lindsay and Tyler struggled. "Hm…uh…um…"

Neither of them noticed Heather walk off.

Heather, 15, Ontario: [facepalms] Lindsay is officially fired from spying. I can get the clone-freaks to do it next time.

Courtney, Harold and Sky gathered in the bar when Noah arrived.

"Look who's late again," Courtney said with rolled eyes.

"Yeah, yeah," Noah sighed. "We need to talk about something."

"The gold star?" Harold said.

"Well no duh," Noah replied. "This is actually pretty serious."

"What's going on, Noah?" Sky asked.

"I've gotten reports of bullying on my district," Noah said.

"I think I know who you're talking about," Sky said uncertainly. "It's Amy and Samey, isn't it?"

"You got it," Noah nodded with a thumbs' up. "Anyway, Amy has threatened to beat Samey up, and she pushed her down the stairs back home."

"What?" Courtney gasped. "That's horrible."

"I know," Noah said. "So I don't think it's safe to keep her on the red district. I know I've been against swapping, but…you know…"

"I get what you mean," Courtney agreed. "This is a special circumstance. I definitely don't want any bullying in this town."

"I still don't think we should swap," Harold said. "I'm sure there's another way to sort it out."

The other three looked at him with raised eyebrows.

"Did you not just hear Noah?" Sky frowned. "Amy pushed Samey down the stairs."

"I don't know, you guys. My gut instinct is that swapping is wrong," Harold shrugged. "I'm sorry."

"It doesn't matter. It's still three votes against one," Noah said. "Which district do we move her to?"

"I guess the green district is the only option," Courtney replied.

"Yeah, I'll take her," Sky nodded. "Ella still has Dave's old bandana, so she can use that."

"So it's sorted," Courtney grinned. "Now, what about the gold star?"

"I guess I'll nominate Leshawna again," Harold shrugged.

Noah took a deep breath. "I want to give it to Gwen."

"Gwen?" Sky repeated.

"Yeah, she's a hard worker and…um…"

"You weren't so keen on her last time," Courtney pointed out.

"Well I've changed my mind!" Noah blurted out.

Courtney shrugged, "Okay. I'd still love to give it to Gwen, of course."

"Gwen sounds good," Sky agreed. "I really liked the speech she gave for her campaign. No offence, Noah, but I hope she wins the election."

"Offence taken," Noah smirked.

Noah, 12, Town Council: I don't want to give Gwen credit for the district switch, but hopefully some cold hard cash will shut her up.

The camera showed the outside of the town hall, with kids walking inside for the next meeting.

Scott was among the crowd with Rodney right behind him, when Heather tugged on one of his dungaree straps.

"Huh?" he said, turning his head.

"Come over here," Heather said, beckoning him with her finger.

Rodney had a confused look on his face as she lead him to the side of the town hall.

"I need to tell you something," Heather said. "I love you."

"Y-you do?" Rodney asked in awe.

"Yes. Ever since day 1. But I was embarrassed to tell you because I thought you didn't notice me," Heather continued, putting on a hand on his shoulder.

"I…I yes noticed yes," Rodney babbled.

"So we're boyfriend and girlfriend," Heather said. "I'm very happy about this."

"I'm sunshine and puppies and monster trucks…"

Heather bent over and gave Rodney a kiss on the check.

"Come on, sweetie," she said, taking him by the hand.

Courtney, 15, Town Council: What do I think of Rodney? He's…well…I'm worried about him. His head isn't always in the right place, and Scott told me he thinks he's in love with every girl he sees.

Heather, 15, Ontario: [laughs] Courtney, you should learn to keep your mouth shut.

The four sitting council members sat at their table before the rest of their town.

"Welcome to a very special Gemini Town Hall Meeting!" Chris announced. "It's time to give away another gold star, and it's time for elections."

He took the next gold star out of his pocket. "As you know…"

"Wait!" Courtney exclaimed. "We want to do something else first."

"Very well," Chris shrugged, putting the star away for the time being.

Courtney stood up, "So, as you know, the council has made it clear that they are against district swapping. However, we have received some nasty reports about bullying in a certain district."

There were a few gasps and whispers from the crowd.

"The council of Gemini would like to make it known that bullying will not be tolerated in this town, and anyone who does so will face consequences," Courtney continued. "With that in mind, we have decided to make an exception and allow one person to change to a different district."

She sat back down, and Sky stood up.

"The green district would like to welcome a new member…"

"…Sammy."

Sammy gasped and put her hands over her mouth.

Amy looked absolutely disgusted, but she quickly brushed it off as Sammy got up.

"Bye-bye. Now you can't bully me anymore!" Amy exclaimed.

Sammy ignored her and ran over to Sky who gave her a hug.

"Thank you. This means so much to me," Sammy told her.

Sky handed her a green bandana. "Take good care of it. It was Dave's."

"I will," Sammy smiled, tying it around her left arm. She then took the red one off her right arm and tossed it on the ground.

"Maybe just give it to me," Noah suggested.

Sammy nodded and handed him the bandana. They also shared a hug.

"Good luck, kid," Noah said.

Sammy walked away and Jasmine waved her hand and made room to sit beside her.

"Uh…now that's out of the way," Chris continued, taking the gold star back out of his pocket. "Worth its weight…50 grand…yadda, yadda, yadda. Who is it going to be?"

Harold stood up this time.

"This gold star goes to someone who has consistently been a hard worker, has greatly improved in attitude, and over the past few days has offered a new direction for their district…"

"And Samey changing teams was sort of her idea," Noah blurted out.

"Congratulations, Gwen," Harold concluded.

Gwen stood up in surprise as the rest of the town cheered for her. As she made her way across the hall, Amy started booing and Izzy and Sugar joined in.

"Well done," Chris said as he handed Gwen the star. "How does this make you feel?"

"I…I can't believe it," Gwen said. "I'm gonna give it all to my mom. She needs it."

She turned to the council. "Thank you. All of you."

"How would you like to tell your family the good news?" Chris asked.

"Yes! Yes! Oh my gosh, yes!" Gwen exclaimed, her hands shaking. She put out her hand for Chris to give her the key, but he added, "Hold on. We have one more thing left to do."

Gwen nodded and sat back down.

"Pioneers, it's time for the election!"

The entire town cheered.

"Here's how it works. You guys start passing out these ballots," Chris said, taking out a stack of ballots and handing them to Geoff. "Each district member votes for someone in their district. In red, will it be Noah…"

The lazy genius had a confident smirk on his face.

"…or Gwen?"

Gwen was too busy handling her gold star to react.

"In blue, will it be Harold…"

The boy scout had a neutral expression as he adjusted his glasses.

"…or Bridgette?"

The surfer girl had a determined look on her face as she joined hands with Beth and Leshawna.

"In yellow, will it be Courtney…"

Courtney had a defeated expression as the camera focused on her.

"…or Heather?"

Heather gave the camera a polite wave.

"And in green, will it be Sky…"

Sky took a deep breath in and out as her name was mentioned.

"…or Lightning?"

Lightning sported a cheeky grin as he drew a line across his neck.

"Once you've filled out your ballots, shove 'em into these boxes and I'll count them up. Pioneers, vote!"

Every member of the town got to it, putting their ballot on their lap and writing a name with pencil.

Ella was shown writing 'Sky' in big capital letters.

Shawn raised his hand. "How do you spell Bridgette?"

Several people laughed at this.

"It doesn't matter as long as it's close enough," Chris shrugged.

Heather, 15, Ontario: So close, I can almost taste it!

Gwen, 14, British Columbia: I don't think I'm going to get in, but at least I said what I wanted to say.

Several people dropped their ballots into the boxes. As Ezekiel casted his vote, Harold looked at him and gave him a wink. Ezekiel just nodded back and returned to his seat.

"Now let's find out the next town council of Gemini!" Chris announced. "Green district, here we go."

Jo had her fingers crossed as Chris began to read out the ballots and held them up.

"Sky."

"Lightning."

"Sha-score!" Lightning cheered as he and Jo high-fived.

"Sky."

"Lightning."

"Sky."

"Sky."

"Sky."

"Sky."

"Sky."

"Sky."

"Go Sky!" Jasmine cheered as everyone clapped for her. Everyone except Jo and Lightning.

Lightning, 12, Manitoba: Psh, figures Lightning's team is a bunch of softies.

"Congratulations, Sky," Chris said. "You keep your seat on the town council."

Sky just smiled and nodded.

Sky, 9, Ontario: I'm happy I'm still on the council, but I'm not happy about the nasty things Lightning said about me. They really hurt my feelings.

"Onto the red district!" Chris announced. "It's either Gwen or Noah. First vote…"

"Gwen."

"Noah."

"Gwen."

"Noah."

"Noah."

"Gwen."

"That's three votes for Noah, three votes for Gwen."

"You can do it!" Bridgette cheered.

"Noah."

"Gwen."

Noah gasped at this. For the first time he actually looked worried.

"It all comes down to the final vote," Chris said, slowly holding it up.

"…Noah."

Noah took a sigh of relief as the town cheered for him.

Gwen surprisingly didn't look that bothered.

Gwen, 14, British Columbia: So I got votes from me, Cody and Owen…who was the fourth person?

"Noah, you also keep your seat on the council," Chris announced. He turned to Gwen, who was smiling away.

"Gwen, what are you so happy about? You lost," he asked.

"I didn't expect to win," Gwen shrugged. "Who was the fourth vote?"

The rest of the district looked around but nobody answered. B looked away and blushed.

Noah stood up.

"Hard luck, you gave it your all," he said.

"I can't say the same for you," Gwen smirked. "But congratulations anyway."

Noah, 12, Town Council: [arms crossed] Gwen, you have no idea.

"Okay, let's keep going. Blue district," Chris continued. "Will it be Bridgette or Harold? Here we go…"

"Harold."

"Bridgette."

"Bridgette."

"Bridgette."

"Bridgette."

Harold's mouth had dropped open.

"Bridgette."

"Briggit."

More laughter ensued. Shawn pulled his hat over his face.

"Bridgette."

"Bridgette."

Harold dropped his head into his arms as everyone cheered.

Harold, 13, Newfoundland: What? What happened? Not one person voted for me. Not even Ezekiel, and he doesn't like girls!

"Bridgette, congratulations. You are the new council leader of the blue district!" Chris announced.

"Yes! I did it!" Bridgette squealed as Beth hugged her.

Harold sighed as he clapped.

"Harold, do you feel about not getting any votes?" Chris asked.

"I-I don't get it," Harold said. "Am I doing something wrong? Do you guys not like me?"

Harold, 13, Newfounland: Like…Bridgette doesn't have the skills that I do. What was the district thinking?

Harold sighed, "Okay, Bridgette, you won fair and square. Come up here!"

Bridgette smiled as she got up, and she hugged Harold at the halfway point.

"No hard feelings," she said as she patted him on the back.

"Come over here, Harold," Leshawna said as he went to sit back down. They both hugged, and then he hugged Leonard behind him.

"Welcome, Bridgette, to the town council!" Chris exclaimed.

"Thank you, blue district. Thank you everyone who voted for me. Harold, you've done a great job as our leader and I hope to do even better."

"Bridgette! Bridgette!" Beth began to chant, and it wasn't long before everyone joined in. "Bridgette! Bridgette! Bridgette!"

Bridgette, 13, Town Council: Even though I knew I had enough votes, it was in the back of my mind that something would go wrong. I'm really grateful for this position.

"One more district to go!" Chris announced. "Yellow district. Will it be Heather or Courtney?"

Courtney looked like she wanted to die.

"Heather."

"Courtney."

"Courtney."

"Heather."

"Courtney."

"Heather."

"That's three votes for Courtney, and three votes for Heather."

"Heather."

"Heather."

"Heather."

"Heather."

The town cheered, and Heather grinned in delight.

Heather, 15, Town Council: Game over!

"Eeeiii! Heather!" Katie and Sadie squealed.

"Congratulations, Heather. You are the new council leader for the yellow district!" Chris announced. "Courtney, anything you'd like to say?"

Courtney's face had gone red.

"I can't believe you did this!" Courtney screamed. "I thought we were friends!"

Many people gasped at her outburst.

"All this time you've acted like my biggest supporter, telling me everything I do is great!" she continued to yell. "And then you run against me!?"

"Courtney, I didn't mean…" Heather began to protest.

"And I know you tricked Trent into dropping out!" Courtney added. "You don't care about this town! You only care about yourself!"

"Courtney, no…" Duncan groaned, putting his head in his hands.

Heather had a shocked look on her face. She burst into tears.

"I can't believe you'd say that," she sobbed. "That's so mean."

The rest of the town started booing at her.

"Get off!" Geoff shouted, cupping his hands around his mouth.

Heather, 15, Town Council: I did not expect her to react that way, but it worked in my favour.

Trent, 14, Manitoba: That was totally out of line! I'm glad she isn't our leader anymore.

Courtney was starting to cry too.

"I might have over-reacted," she whispered. "Come take your seat."

Courtney got up and walked down the aisle, while Heather went the other way. Courtney tried to reach out for a hug, but Heather ignored her.

The rest of the district looked mad at her. Duncan patted her on the back.

Duncan, 14, Manitoba: Well, we're dead.

"So, that happened," Chris said awkwardly. "Anyway, this is your new town council – start governing! Gwen, make your call, and everyone get back to your bunks!"

Everyone exited quietly, still shaken up over Courtney's outburst.

Ezekiel had his hands in his pockets as he left the town hall.

"Ezekiel, wait up," Bridgette said as she came up beside him.

"Oh…uh…hi," Ezekiel said awkwardly.

"You voted for me," she said.

"Um…yes I did, eh," Ezekiel nodded as he continued to walk.

"I didn't expect that," Bridgette told him. "I thought you hated girls."

"What? I don't hate girls," Ezekiel replied with a raised eyebrow.

"Okay, maybe not 'hate', but…you said some stuff after the first showdown…"

"Maybe what my dad said wasn't all correct," Ezekiel sighed. "Maybe girls can be as strong and smart as guys."

"Thanks," Bridgette smiled. "I meant what I said in that speech. Everyone in the blue district is my friend. Even you."

"Well…thank you," Ezekiel said, blushing a little. "I think you're going to be a great leader, eh."

"I hope so," Bridgette chuckled.
