I have no idea how I came up with this but I decided to extend Jamie and Eddie's scene before family dinner in 11x06 to start this story. Enjoy!

"Have I told you lately how much I love you?" he asked, giving her that flirtatious but cheeky gaze that she loved so much.

She stared at him for a minute, pursing her lips, trying to prevent the smile that was threatening to form across her face. Then, she grabbed the cushion from behind her and swung at him with it.

"Jamie!" she said with a laugh as he fought off her attack. He finally was able to take the cushion from her and placed it out of reach, just in case she planned on hitting him again.

"But seriously, have I told you?"

She gave him a smile, "Yes. I do know how much you love me."

"Good," he said, leaning in and placing a sweet kiss on her cheek. Suddenly, Eddie felt his soft kisses going across her cheek and down her neck. Then, he quickly pulled her down under him, taking her by surprise.

"Jamie," she hissed, pushing at his shoulders while he continued his attack on her neck. "We are NOT doing this in your dad's house! Everyone is in the backyard!"

He lifted his head and gazed down at her. "So? That hasn't stopped us before."

Eddie blushed and shook her head. "Well, the other time, we were in your old room. This time, someone could actually walk in on us."

"You know I actually walked in on Danny and Linda once," he said, trying to shake his head of the memory. "Still traumatizes me to this day."

Eddie's eyes widened as she pushed him off of her to sit up, "Really!? How old were you?"

Jamie thought for a minute, "Like 7 or 8. It was right after they got engaged, I think."

"Well, what happened?" she asked, intrigued to know more.

"I forgot where everyone else went but it was just me and Danny at the house. Linda came over to talk to my mom and Erin about wedding plans but since they weren't there, she decided to just wait on them. Danny said that he wanted to show Linda something in his room and that they'd be back in a few minutes."

"Where you going, Dan?" Jamie asked his older brother as he turned and spotted him and Linda going up the stairs.

"I'm just going to show Linda something in my room," he answered coolly.

"Can I come?" Jamie asked.

Danny immediately shook his head, "No. You stay down there. We won't be very long. You can play on my Game Boy if you want too. It's in the kitchen."

"Yay! Thank you, Danny," Jamie exclaimed, quickly turning and running into the kitchen.

"That was a close one," Linda said quietly as she heard Jamie's small footsteps run off.

"Yeah," Danny replied. "That should keep him occupied for awhile. Come on."

He quickly tugged her the rest of the way up the stairs and into his room, shutting the door behind them.

"Oh, you must've been the cutest kid," Eddie said affectionately, imagining a young Jamie, probably with a few missing teeth, excitedly playing with his older brother's Game Boy.

"I was the cutest of them all," he teased, putting an arm around her and playing with a lock of her hair.

"So what happened next?" she asked impatiently with a slap to his thigh

"Ow," he winced. "That actually hurt!"

"Your leg is fine. Continue with the story!" she demanded.

"Okay. Okay." Jamie said. "Just no more hitting."

After playing with the Game Boy for a few minutes, Jamie slid down from the dining room chair and walked over to the pantry to find a snack.

He spotted his favorite cookies on the top shelf. "Danny!" he called out, trying to jump up as high as he could to reach them. "Can you grab these cookies for me, please?"

"Danny!" he called out again when he got no answer. "I can't reach them! I need your help!"

Once he realized that Danny wasn't coming to his rescue, he decided to go find him. Jamie quickly bounded up the stairs and turned right, going all the way down the hall to his brother's room and opened the door.

"Did you see anything?" Eddie asked curiously.

"They covered up so fast that I didn't," Jamie said then let out a chuckle. "Danny hit the ground and Linda looked absolutely mortified."

"Kid!" Danny yelled, quickly ducking down behind the other side of the bed while Linda covered herself up with a sheet. "What're you doing in here?! I told you to wait downstairs!"

"I can't reach the cookies in the pantry," Jamie said innocently. "I kept calling for you, Dan. I'm sorry!"

"It's okay," Danny said, a little calmer now. "Give me a minute and I'll go downstairs to help you."

"What're you guys doing?" Jamie asked curiously, looking back and forth between Danny and Linda.

Linda ran her hand over her face, completely horrified that her fiancé's younger brother had just walked in on them. "We were just playing, Jamie," was the only acceptable answer she managed to get out.

He eyed the small pile of clothes on the ground, "Why don't you have any clothes on?"

Linda's face turned a deep shade of red then turned to Danny to answer Jamie's question. "Well..." Danny said nervously. "It got hot in here."

Jamie stared at them for a long minute then just shrugged, "Okay." He turned and ran out of the room.

"Here's my question," Eddie said. "Did they not think about locking the door?"

Jamie shrugged, "I guess they didn't think that I'd go looking for them."

"Did your parents know that you saw them?" she asked.

"Not until a few months later," he said. "Danny gave me with ten bucks to not say anything. But then he made me mad one day... so I told on him."

"What did they think?"

"My dad thought it was a little funny. I guess it's because he's not the one I walked in on. My mom... not so much."

"Are you serious, Daniel?!" Mary Reagan shouted, burning holes into the back of her son's head as she shut the kitchen door. "Did you not think about locking the door or even not doing that here?!"

"I thought I locked the door, Ma!" he argued back. "I didn't know that he'd just walk in!"

"Did Jamie see anything?!"

"No! We covered up quick!"

Mary shook her head and took a deep breath, "Did he ask you anything? What did you tell him?"

"He just asked what we were doing," Danny responded. "The best thing we could come up with is that we were playing."

"We're not done here, Daniel," she said, crossing her arms and walking out of the kitchen in search of her youngest. "Not by a long shot."

"I bet Danny and Linda never dared to that again!" Eddie chuckled.

He nodded, "Never again. Linda didn't come over for awhile after that."

"See!" she said with a slap to his chest. "That's why I said we can't do that here!"

"How about we go to my room then?" he winked, standing up and started pulling on her hand. "I'll actually make sure to lock the door."

Eddie gave him a serious look then let out a laugh, "You're too much for me sometimes."

He smiled and pulled her up, wrapping an arm around her waist, "You love it, though."

She rolled her eyes jokingly, "Yeah, I guess I do."

Jamie glanced into the backyard to make sure the family was still all out there then quickly grabbed her hand and took her up the stairs to his room.
