Summary: Heroes use both their Quirks and a specific Pokemon/ specialized team that suits them. These are for those who have mastered or have a great deal of mastery over their Pokemon teams. Villains, however, usually are masters of one Pokemon that maximizes their ability for destruction. Inko Midoriya was just a humble Master Contest Ranker and she was happy with it, but she knows that she needs to get her son to interact with more than just Pokemon. After all, when you need Heroic Pokemon Rangers to make a Pokemon Sanctuary in what is basically your backyard, Legendaries make frequent stops for pie, rare Pokemon like Turtwig, Totodile, and Charmander play around, and that girl that declares Izuku as her rival, Katsuki Bakugou, always comes by to spar and battle Pokemon...Well...she needs a break. So, when it comes time for teens to apply to the local regions Hero Academy Izuku is quickly applied with the recommendation of three Professional Heroes. Now she can only wait for her boy to man up and get with that Katsuki girl... or that beautiful daughter of her Contest Rival Rei Todoroki...or those other girls...
Inko Midoriya loved her son. When her son was five she let him watch her do some civilian Beauty Master Rank Pokemon Contests. She showed him Beauty with a Castform. A cloud like Pokemon that was gray and shaped in a tear. A Flamethrower here, a Weather Ball there, a stunning Hydro Pump in the air. It was after she won that Izuku asked if he could learn to do what she could do. She was overjoyed enough that he wanted to be like her that she contacted a friend she had met in a Heroic Professor job. The Elite of the Pokemon Professors whom she had known through seeing him supporting his wife at a Contest Hall. Shota Aizawa the Psychic Neutralizer Hero. A Hero with the Quirk: Erasure which neutralizes most Quirks and utilizes psychic type Pokemon to capture Villains.
When she announced that her baby wanted to learn how to be a Contester and that he didn't have any Pokemon he suggested that Izuku would be given five Pokemon. Enough to do each type of Contest. As long as he can do notes on his Pokemon and how there moves are affected by doing Contests. The Heroic Professor went to the Midoriya's to give the Pokemon.
Shouta Aizawa arrived with a Gallade on the Midoriya's doorstep. With a small smile he put away the picture he held into his wallet. Although, he had been here before with his Gallade years ago, he always kept a picture of a location he needed or wanted to be able to go to for reference. With a nod to his Gallade he lifted a Poke Ball and summoned him back. On his back was a small yellow backpack with five Pokeballs. He went to the door and knocked. The door opened to show a little boy with fluffy green hair in a white shirt with All Might Champion stance with his arms lifted and the words 'I am Here!' were on it with green shorts.
"Hello is this the Midoriya residence?" Shouta asked kindly.
"Umm...yeah...uhh..." The boy turned his head towards the rest of the house and yelled "Mom someone's here!"
The sound of pots and pans clanging made Shouta cringe. A moment later a womens' voice yelled that they were fine. Inko Midoriya finally got to the door when three strong muscled dog Pokemon started growling at him from behind. Looking back he blinked at what was before him. He knew Inko had a Castform...but a Arcanine, Mightyena, and a Grunbull were crouched in a position to spring out at him. The boy ran past him and hugged the Mightyena and said in a loud voice "It's okay. He's a friend."
Inko looked at the scene with amusement and Shouta's jaw slightly moved down as though it was unhinged. Inko laughed and told the dog Pokemon to be good. Shota turned to Inko and asked "How? Why? Do you have any other dog Pokemon?"
"Yes, I do. I have a Manectric and the Midday form of Lycanroc. Those two are out in the backyard. My only non-dog Pokemon is my Castform. Each one is for a different Master Category: Grunbull is for Cuteness, Mightyena for Cleverness, Arcanine for Beauty, Manectric for Coolness, and Lycanroc for Toughness. My Castform is my first Beauty Contestant."
Shouta looked at her with surprise. "Not many civilians have this many Pokemon or have strong Pokemon either."
She laughed. "I know. Each of them were abandoned though. I found them at different Pokemon centers and one was even behind a Contest Hall. I started my Civilian Journey as a Contester with Castform. Somehow we found each other and that's how they became a part of the family!" She beamed out at Shouta. "Come in. It must have taken a while for you to figure out which Pokemon you wanted my son to take notes about."
Shouta followed her in to the house. She asked him as she went to the kitchen."I'll bring out some tea for myself while we talk. Would you like anything? Coffee or Orange Juice? We can talk at the table." She pointed at the dining room table.
"I'll have some Orange Juice, if you would?"
"Sure. Just a moment."
As he waited for her, he took off the backpack and set it down. unzipping the bag he slowly took out different Poke Balls. A regular Poke Ball, a Quick Ball, an Ultra Ball, a Great Ball, a Dusk Ball, and a Time Ball. When she arrived with the beverages she looked at him confused. "You said you would only bring five and I thought that was too much. Why six?"
"The sixth was just in case." He grinned. "I think the kid has potential after seeing those dogs. Not many kids can handle and understand different types. I feel much better in doing this. I chose these Pokemon with different types with the help of my wife. Anyway, this also can make my kids have a rival to keep on their toes for when they become Heroes. If he remains a civilian instead of a Hero, it won't matter to me. Shall we go into the backyard to show Izuku?"
With a nod he put the balls back in the bag so they wouldn't drop. Inko called her son to the backyard and talked to him about who Shouta was. Shouta watched as Inko talked to Izuku. Her Pokemon watched behind her, although her Castform was by her right shoulder. When they were ready he set the bag down and pulled the first ball out. The regular Poke Ball.
"This is the first Pokemon I chose for you. Most people think this Pokemon is just an annoyance, but when it grows strong enough, it's evolved form can make it extremely quick. It also can learn a lot of Clever moves you can use for Contests. It's called a Zubat." With a zigzag of red light a Zubat appeared.
It cried out. Izuku moved towards it. "Hello there." Izuku moved closer and held his left arm out. The Zubat went towards him and cried out. Its body rested on his arm and it cried out again. He slowly moved his other arm and patted its top body. A pleasured cry came out.
Shouta smiled and handed him the ball. "It looks like you already made a friend. Take care of him. Will you name him?"
Izuku smiled. "Yes I'll name him." He turned to the bat. "Would it be okay if I name you Lucky?" The Zubat made a motion to nod its head and Izuku looked towards Shota to say "There you have it. I have Lucky in my corner."
Shouta pulled into the bag and brought out the Quick Ball. "This ball holds a pretty powerful base Pokemon alright Izuku? You have to make sure to control it. This one has a lot of strong moves. Be very careful." A tiny Ralts appeared on the grass. Izuku bent down and watched it. "This female Ralts here had to be caught in a Quick Ball compared to its siblings that went to my children. This one kept on using Teleport to disappear and used a mixture of Thunderbolt and Shadow Ball at us when it was born. It should be good at pulling off a lot of Cute category moves."
The Ralts looked at Shouta and summoned a weak Shadow Ball at him and Teleported to Izuku's side. Shouta jumped to the side and groaned. The Ralts used its teleport and again to grab the Poke Ball and place it in Izuku's hands. "Thank you Hecate." With a nod the tiny Pokemon went inside. Shouta looked at the Poke Ball and then to Izuku "What the..." Shouta muttered. He had to admit he was unnerved by this Ralts' reaction. Shaking his head he sighed and pulled the next one out.
A black Poke Ball with yellow strips was brought up. "Here you go. This Pokemon should be good for the Tough Category. The Pokemon inside is called Trapinch. It's got a really strong attack stat." Aizawa let him hold the ball. "If you are wondering, that ball is called an Ultra Ball." Out of the ball came a red light that the Pokemon came out with. It tan body shuddered. It started to cry. The little Izuku went down and hugged it. "It's okay." When it calmed Izuku asked if it could be called Gaia and with a nod of its head the newly declared Gaia went into its Poke Ball.
The next ball was a Great Ball. "This ball holds a story. You should know to always treasure this Pokemon. It's a Pokemon known for showing up when natural disasters are about to happen and tries to warn civilians and Heroes about it. This one in particular mentioned you." Shota stopped. He stared at Izuku and made him start to fidget nervously. "This Pokemon went through a lot of trouble to find one of my coworkers Pokemon who could talk to it and relate its message to me. It was willingly caught by the Heroic Pokemon Ranger Ragdoll and her Persians. It's name is Absol, is female and will help you with cool Contests."
The Absol cried out as it met its ruby eyes with emerald. Izuku held out his right arm and let it nudge his hand. A grin formed on Izuku's face. "The Absol said its name was Ruby."
"Its a pleasure to meet you Ruby." It went back into the Poke Ball with its head held high.
The second last Poke Ball was the Dusk Ball: "This is Aeolus. A Castform with a Bashful nature that loves the moves Energy Ball, Weather Ball, Shadow Ball and Ice Beam. I found this little guy near a weather forecast station in the dark. I thought of your mother and she can help you make this Pokemon into a Master Beauty Ranker. She is really good. I've seen her with her Castform."
"This last Ball is a Timer Ball. It took forever to get this Pokemon. Inside is a Treecko." He stopped and gestured to where the Midoriya home meets a forest. "That forest will make a perfect training field for it. Very few people can actually use or work with these Pokemon. It takes certain people with skill to train them right. This Pokemon doesn't need to be for Contests either. Their are always Villains and dangerous Pokemon. If you work well enough together you may become stronger than you know. I'm giving you this Pokemon to understand. Good luck, you problem child." He handed the ball to him. Shouta gestured to Inko to go inside the house.
When they entered they watched as a Treecko came out of the ball and meet Izuku. "Something tells me your kid is really special. I've got to be going soon." He paused. "Tell me if any problems happen." With that the man went out the front door with Gallade and Teleported home.
If he had waited a few minutes he would have seen the Treecko he had given Izuku hand a precious band with a stone into Izuku's hands. The man had never seen what was on its tail or the gem that was hidden in its paws.
Three years later Izuku could be seen in the forest with a blond haired girl named Katsuki Bakugou with a Cyndaquil and Treecko following them. The Town had officially named it the 'Dark Forest' as they had seen multiple dark type Pokemon wandering it. The reason Izuku was there was because he was already known for having strong Pokemon with decent moves that could help in a fight and because Katsuki dragged him so she could finally get her first caught Pokemon. When she was five, around the time Izuku got his Pokemon, she gained hers. With the girls Quirk being Explosion her parents had found people who could breed certain Pokemon and she was given those that had a tendency to have explosive moves. This was okay for her parents as her mom had a water type called Golduck and a Poliwrath. The Pokemon she had were Cyndaquil, Torkoal, and Numel.
Deep in the Dark Forest was a cave that they stumbled upon which was held in a clearing. There was an ominous presence around the cave. With excitement the girl rushed in with Cyndaquil only to stop before a dragon type with her eyes wide with fear.
The rushed footsteps and echoed in the cave. Eyes opened and a Hydreigon stood up. The two arms started growling and the main head craned its neck. Her Cyndaquil placed itself before it. "Cinder no. We have to run!" The Cyndaquil flared itself and squeaked. The Hydreigon started to move forward until a Kirlia appeared between Katsuki and the Cyndaquil named Cinder. With a nod behind them it Teleported them to the Midoriya residence with a startled Inko before it Teleported back.
Izuku walked towards the dragon who was watching him. This Hydreigon was one with a Mild nature. A rarity among its kind. With a small motion Izuku told his Treecko named Emerald to speak with it. With a flash his Kirlia, once a Ralts, called Hecate to translate Emerald and the dark dragons conversation.
The conversation went like this:
Hydreigon spoke in a female tone: Why did you come here? Do you wish to battle me? This is my home. My territory. You dare disturb me?
Emerald spoke in a male voice: The humans came to explore. We did not know you were here. we will leave if you wish. We did not come here to battle. My human and I only came to make sure the girl did not get harmed as she explored. Do you wish to talk to my human. I will gladly have it translated through Hecate, or the Kirlia, at my side.
Hydreigon: Very well. What will you do now that you know I am here? Do you wish to test my strength like many Heroes and Villains? Will you give up my cave to those that want me and my power?
Izuku shook his head and spoke aloud. "You are strong. I have no desire to fight nor will I give up your cave. I will protect it if you allow it. There is no need to test you. You have strength in body and mind. You are a dragon. If anything I would like to learn from you. Even others that you know if you allow it. There is much my Pokemon and I do not know because we are not knowledgeable in the ways of the wild."
The Hydreigon laid itself upon the ground. The Hydreigon spoke again: I wish to test your bonds. You are the first human I have encountered that has not battled, ran in fear, but have tried to converse with me. You are stronger than others child. I wish to test your team. I will fight them one on one. If you prove yourself I will find other Pokemon that may wish to be in this forest. I am one of many and I know of others who may wish to test you. Go outside and we will battle.
Izuku grinned at the dragon before him. From the stories that have been told, all dragons respected strength, and very few were not easily angered. It all came down to luck that one of the worse Pokemon ever described as part of the dragon typing would have enough patience with a human.
All of Izuku's Pokemon came out of their Poke Balls around his waist as they exited the cave. They had heard the conversation between their Trainer and the Hydreigon. Gaia the Vibrava fluttered its wings as it landed on the ground. Ruby the Absol held its head up high and stared at the cave entrance. Emerald crouched before Izuku's right. Hecate stood to the left with her arms crossed. Lucky the Golbat screeched as it settled on a tree branch above. Lastly Aeolus floated by Izuku's right shoulder.
Still connected to Hecate he heard Hydreigon as it walked out of the 9cave. These little ones are strong for their age. I shall fight them in order. The Treecko. The Kirlia. The Golbat. The Castform. The Vibrava. The Absol. No more communication little one. These little ones must fight me on their own to show their worth.
Izuku went on the edge of the clearing along with the rest of his Pokemon to watch the fight.
Before it could begin loud steps and people running shouting Izuku's name were heard.
"Let me talk to them first please. They will listen. Just give me a chance. I will introduce them to you." Izuku bowed and looked towards the dragon. It gave a nod and Izuku rushed to where they were yelling. Inko and Shouta were just behind a worried Katsuki. Behind them were all of Inko's dog Pokemon, Shouta's Gallade, and Katsuki 's Cinder. All of them were relieved until they noticed his lack of Pokemon.
"Calm down. I want you guys to be calm. I was able to talk to it with the help of my Pokemon. It's actually really nice." He tried to placate them.
"What have you gotten yourself into problem child?" Shouta asked.
He beamed. "A challenge to my team to see how strong my bond is with them. It doesn't seem to like humans because Heroes and Villains would challenge it for its strength. Come on! I'll even introduce you!"
Inko's jaw dropped. Shouta's eye started to twitch. Katsuki just muttered "What?" under her breath.
"Each of my Pokemon will fight on their own to show the Hydreigon that they are strong! Come on!" Then Izuku started to drag Katsuki by the arm towards the clearing. One by one they entered to see the big dragon waiting with Izuku's Emerald across from it.
Shouta went pale. "Izuku. How on this world did you get a Hydreigon to spar with your Pokemon?"
Izuku shrugged. "I don't know. Anyway, let me introduce you all." Pointing to each of the humans he called out their name. "This is my mom Inko, that's Katsuki, and this is a Hero Professor that likes to learn more about Pokemon. He's the reason I was able to talk with you. My Kirlia Hecate was one of his Pokemons kids. He was able to teach me how to talk with Psychic types that would in turn talk to other Pokemon. In a way he's my teacher."
To everyone's surprise the Hydreigon bowed towards the Hero. In return the surprised Hero bowed back and understanding occured between the two.
Staring at the Pokemon he said "We will not interfere."
Then the Battles began. Emerald went forwards with a Quick Attack and unleashed a Dragonbreath at the dragons arm only for it to be countered with a small Flamethrower. The Hydreigon used Crunch that missed as Emerald used a Quick Attack to jump backwards and unleash an Energy Ball. A short Dragon Pulse stopped it and the Hydreigon Dragon Rushed forward and hit the Treecko with a Dark Pulse that pushed the small Pokemon away where it laid knocked out.
The Hero sighed. "I will use Revives on every Pokemon that falls so they can learn from this. Is that okay?" The dragons heads nodded.
After Emerald Revived he got up and sat in front of Izuku to watch the battles ahead. Hecate Teleported to the make shift field. A Thunderbolt soared towards the dragon. It quickly dodged and threw out a gray bolt of a Flash Cannon at the fairy. A quick Teleport and the move missed. Hecate threw out small Shadow Balls and started to spam a quick plan of Teleporting around the dragon and unleashing small Shadow Balls that would explode when contacting with the Hydreigon. Then Hecate got caught with an Ice Fang to the arm. While it started to freeze the fairy it used a Flash Cannon that knocked it out.
Katsuki Bakugou watched in awe. This dragon was not even close to exhausted. It hadn't flinched from even one of the attacks on its person. It stood strong as it was in the beginning. Her little Cinder wanted to challenge that? Her resolve strengthened. She needed to become much stronger. The Pokemon before was just playing with Izuku's Pokemon.
The Revived Hecate stood up from the ground and walked toward Inko and the dog Pokemon before sitting with a frown on her face and arms crossed.
Lucky flew up from his branch and Screeched to start the battle. It hit the Pokemon and Lucky used a Confuse Ray on it before it could gain enough energy to throw out a fully formed Flamethrower attack. With the dragon confused, Lucky used the move Toxic on it. With a shake of its head the confusion it was afflicted with disappeared and a Thunder Fang in one hand mouth and Ice Fang in another clipped the Golbats wings. Electricity shocked its systems and the ice covered its wings and it fell unconscious.
After Reviving and healing Lucky with a Paralyze Heal and an Ice Heal the Pokemon flew up to land on Arcanines head. Aeolus floated from Izuku's Shoulder. Hydreigon watched it's new challenger closely. It had never seen this Pokemon before. With a shake Hail fell down and the Castformed shifted. The poison move started to affect the dragon and the Hail hit the skin of it.
A Flamethrower was on the tip of its mouth. Fire from the Flamethrower beam collided with an Ice Beam. Fire vs. Ice. However, the longer the clash lasted it slowly could be seen that the ice move was losing to the fire. Hail and poison continued to hit the dragon and with little effort it engulfed the ice type and made it fall.
The Hail ended. Aeolus floated up above Izuku's right shoulder once again. Gaia's wings fluttered as it rushed the dragon with a Dragonbreath. It flew out of reach and both Dragons watched the other. After a few seconds it seemed that both conceded to using only one move. Whoever won would gain victory. A Dragon Pulse clashed with Dragonbreath. the strength of the Vibrava was quickly overpowered by the pulse.
The audience could see that the Hydreigon was tiring. Izuku had only one more Pokemon. Ruby the Absol. Gaia was quickly Revived and went besides Emerald. When Ruby faced her opponent it started to sing a haunting melody to its enemies. Perish Song was heard by the Hydreigon. With a start the dragon tossed a Flamethrower at her. It dodged and focused on a Slash as it came bearing down with an Ice Fang. They clashed and the poison weakened it even more. It jumped backwards and unleashed a Dark Pulse. The move washed over the other dark type. Then it fell exhausted.
Aizawa rushed to the Hydreigon and sprayed it with an antidote on hand. Everyone moved back to watch it. After an hour it started to wake.
Two years later the forest was officially renamed 'The Dragons Sanctum Forest.' There were many sections to the forest and they learned quickly that only a few people could really navigate it as more Pokemon started to live there. The only ones truly safe to go in were the Midoriya's, Shouta Aizawa, and Katsuki Bakugou.
The Dragons Cave where the forms of Hydreigon, Garchomps, and Noiverns live.
The Music River where Feebas, Magikarps, Milotics, Chatots, and Popplios live.
The Rose Garden Meadow where the Haxorus and Roserade families stay alongside a variety of big Pokemon.
The Rolling Hills where dragon types come and go with the occasional fight.
Our story continues with a ten year old Izuku that is carrying a picnic basket with a variety of pies and sandwiches towards these very hills. A Govyle, Gardevoir, Crobat, Castform, Flygon, and Absol watch as the boy slowly unfolds a blanket to set the food down.
In the shadow of the trees four small Pokemon smell the heavenly scent of a baked apple pie with cinnamon wafting under there noses. A Victini, Shaymin, Mew, and Celebi stop in their tracks. They watch as each Pokemon slowly eats the treat given to them. Their stomachs growl. with a dash of speed Mew comes up to Izuku and stares at the basket and looks back and forth before its stomach growls.
The non-legendary Pokemon giggle and chuckle.
Izuku makes a plate and soon the other three come up to him. The mime trying to eat and soon each have their own slice. After the pies are done Izuku tells them his mom is the one that make the pie.
When the Legandaries start to follow him he gets the idea that they want more pie. He laughs and tells them to let him tell his mom.
It just so happens that Aizawa and his wife were visiting Inko to find out how Izuku has been doing with the Contests along with the Pokemon Ranger that found the Absol, Ragdoll. They were all gathered around the dining room eating pie and drinking coffee as Inko was explaining that Izuku had achieved his last Super Rank Ribbon when the doorbell rang.
Moving quickly Inko opened the door to see Izuku with a giant grin. "Hey mom?" He asked while rubbing the back of his head.
Inko raised an eyebrow. "Yes...?"
"You know how I went into the forest for a picnic?"
"Yes...What did you do?"
"You may need to have more pie...can I come in?"
"Sure." She said confused and started to follow Izuku only to stop when she saw Shota and his wife Emi Fukukado or Mrs. Joke the Contest Hero with the Quirk: Outburst and double team master of the sound Pokemon Exploud and Chatot along with Tomoko Shiretoko, or Ragdoll, look towards them with their jaws dropped. Shouta had dropped his cup and let it spill on table only to fall and crack on the ground. Emi spilled her ice coffee down the front of her shirt. Tomoko sprayed coffee out onto the floor.
The drops of coffee slowly falling on the floor were the only sounds that could be heard until she turned her head to see the curious face of the pink cat like Pokemon Mew tilting its head at her. All it did was say "Mew" and Inko turned her body to see a Victini and Celibi floating side by side with a little Shaymin on the ground.
"Izuku? Honey? Did you just have four Legendaries following you after you gave them some of my pie?"
Izuku poked his head out of the kitchen with a sheepish grin. Aeolus floating beside him. "Yup. I think they like your pie."
Shota facepalmed and groaned. "Anything else you need to tell us?"
"Umm...I found a lone Dreepy and its being distracted by Gaia?" Cue Shota slamming his head onto the coffee mess of a table. A groan answered Izuku.
Tomoko looked towards Emi. "Does this usually happen?"
Emi answered with a smile. "Yes, I think so. Last year Shota came home after telling me that he had to gather up a few Hero Researchers, Rangers, and another Professor to turn the forest into a Sanctum for Pokemon since a lot of dragon type and rare Pokemon kept showing up. He said that even a few revived fossil Pokemon appeared."
"Oh... Makes sense. I heard there was a new protected Pokemon area."
While they were talking Izuku had made another plate of apple pie for the four Pokemon and set them on the table. Inko slowly sat down in a chair by Tomoko and whimpered. There were literally four Legends sitting at her dining room table eating her pie. She sank into the seat with a slump. "Izuku dear?"
"Yes mom?"
"Would you please start your Civilian Journey outside of our town?"
"What... I can't do that right now!" Izuku yelled from the kitchen. "I still need to train Emerald and teach Dreepy. I also need to train Tyrunt and Cranidos to protect the Forest. Oh, and Aerodactyl." He paused as he got something out of the fridge and started to pour a drink. "There is also that Bagon that appeared on top of the Dragon Cave the last time I was there and that Dratini that appeared at the Music River the other day that I need to find. Sorry..."
Tomoko paled hearing those Pokemon names. Emi blinked. Shota groaned. Inko now whimpered and turned her head to Tomoko. "He's Quirkless. Please take him to the Hero school. They'll be able to handle it."
Tomoko frowned and sighed. "You know you have to be fifteen to even apply to the school, right?" Pity and guilt was felt by the three Heroes as the single mother looked towards her sons direction.
"Did you know..." Inko whispered. "That the only person he comes into human contact his own age is a girl that is a tsundere who can barely talk to him along with Shota and I?" Another whimper. "Save me. I unleashed a monster."
All the while the four Legendaries munched on pie.
Two years later a little sloth slowly went across the branches of a tree to reach a Pecha berry. Underneath it was a Shroomish and Wurmple that laid beside the tree. Watching them was a big Ekans and Seviper that were coiled to spring inside of a bush. The sound of footsteps scared the two snakes. with a hiss they retreated. Running by the snakes spot were a girl and boy that were racing each other. The destination... the Rolling Hills.
It took little convincing for Inko to travel to an island resort for two weeks. When the Bakugou's heard about it, Katsuki begged to go with. Both of Katsuki's parents and Inko hoped that Izuku would notice Katsuki's crush on him. Alas, within those two weeks Izuku and Katsuki both found new Pokemon that wanted to join them. They both grew too occupied with their new friends to even think that way.
Now was the time to challenge each other. Turtonator versus Exeggutor island variant. Fire versus grass and dragon versus dragon. Both panted as they threw out their Poke Balls that released their respective Pokemon.
Unfortunately three different Pokemon cries rang out. To there amazement they saw cages around a basic camp that held different Pokemon. They both saw a couple of bandit like people laughing around a fire sitting on a log. Poachers.
Katsuki let her Quirk start popping in her palm. However she stopped. So did the poachers.
Around the generally nice Izuku was an aura of hostility. His eyes had a slight glow to them. The Exeggutor and Turtonator backed away slowly.
A Sceptile came out of a Timer Ball with its eyes glaring down at the poachers. So did an Absol come out of a Great Ball. What no one about Izuku or these two Pokemon were that they both held four stones.
Two were connected with each other. One set was a bracelet around Izuku's right wrist and around a small bracelet on Sceptiles leg each had a stone that was disguised.
The other set was disguised on a necklace around Izuku's neck and a matching silver band hid the other stone on Absols right leg.
Mega stones.
Two poachers sent out a Weezing and a Muk. A third sent out Skuntank and a fourth sent out a Weavile. The last one sent out a Houndoom.
They should have run, Katsuki thought. Behind numerous small cages was a big one. Laid down was a female Hydreigon. Its form was battered. Dirt and mud were splattered everywhere. She could see it was shuddering from poison as far as she could tell.
Katsuki started walking backwards. She sent out her trusted Cinder. She was now a Typhlosion. "Run. Get Aunt Inko. Get Professor Aizawa. Hurry." It looked towards the cages and spotted the Hydreigon. Horror crossed the fire types face. It ran as fast as it could.
Katsuki told Izuku that she would bring help.
He didn't answer. The poachers yelled to for the one with the Weavile to catch her.
A Stone Edge slammed into the Weavile and slamming it into a nearby tree. Ruby howled in fury and Emerald raised its bladed arms. Silence came back. The Pokemon in the cages stood silent and the poachers looked towards each other.
Katsuki was gone.
Izuku was ready to fight with a vengeance that his Pokemon respected. They too desired to fight. Emerald had learnt to harness his dragon side with the Mega Stone under her guidance. Ruby had gained better control over the elements and her very nature as a dark type under hers. To both the Hydreigon had acted as a mother.
They Mega Evolved at the same time. An impossibility. But all three were consumed in their rage.
Izuku rushed the first poacher who held a sharp nails type of Quirk. He dodged their first strike and went into their guard and did an uppercut on his chin that sent the man flying.
The Mega Sceptile Emerald used the move Frenzy Plant that smashed into the Muk and Weezing. Emerald jumped into the sky and landed on a tree. A blur of white came up behind both Pokemon and the pink hue to symbolize a psychic move turned a hot pink. With a dash of her scythe like horn two Psycho Cuts slammed into the two. They fell like rocks.
Two poachers came at Izuku. One was a male. He dodged and grabbed the wrist with his right hand and jumped in the air slightly only to slam his left palm straight into the persons shoulder. A sickening crack was heard.
The other jumped onto him and Izuku headbutted the woman. He then kneed her in the stomach and pushed her off.
Three poachers down and four Pokemon out showed the two poachers that it was better to run. Too bad they were in a forest. Izukus forest. Emeralds forest. Where a Sceptile is truly at home. A dash into the treetops and a game of hide and seek was on.
Ruby went to the Houndoom and its female poacher first. Emerald would take care of the other poacher by knocking them out. The Houndoom needed to fall before Izuku came. It sent a Shadow Ball that exploded and made them stumble. Ruby howled and slammed her paws down. A Stone Edge smashed into the Houndoom and knocked it out with a critical hit.
The poacher attempted to breath fire out only for them to be tackled to the ground. The humans rolled away from each other. As they stood Izuku chuckled and the poacher grew pale. Behind her stood a regular Emerald with its claws around her neck. Then Ruby powered down.
By the time his mother and the rest had appeared the poachers had been tied up. Pokemon were placed in their respective containers. The Pokemon in cages were let out and Izuku was already working on healing the Hydreigon of poison.
Of the many Pokemon that were captured three stayed. They were not from the local area but did stay huddled together. A very abnormal trio. A Turtwig, a Totodile, and a Charmander. When officials tried to seperate them an Ember, Bubble, and a Absorb would be sent at them.
It was only when Izuku came up that they started to move. They all waddled to the Trainer with The proud Sceptile and Absol. Shouta facepalmed and muttered loud enough for some officials to hear "Strays...Again? Seriously?"
One year later had Izuku thinking about girls after he accidentally saw Katsuki swimming in the Music River. Unfortunately, for him, his mom saw his blushing face as he ran to his room. It was bad enough of embarrassment that he holed up in his room for a week with only coming out to eat and use the restroom.
Finally having enough, she asked for Shota to come talk to her son. An awkward conversation later and he came out of his room. Then he declared he was going to go on a Civilian Journey with his team. This journey would let him branch out of his comfort zone of the forest.
When it came time to leave his Gardevoir spoke along with the rest of his team saying that he needed to have another team. With a small suggestion it was asked that he take the three Pokemon he saved from the poachers.
Skip forward three fourths of a year and Izuku was walking on the trail that would lead him home along with a very cute girl with half red and half white, flowing hair. She was well endowed with a very shapely bubble but. Her eyes were a mismatched turquoise blue and brownish red.
His team consisted of Turtwig, Totodile, and the Charmander still. For some reason they refused to evolve. That was fine with Izuku. They were plenty strong. The other three Pokemon were...different. Electivire. Magmortar. Rhyperior.
Besides them were two different Ninetales. This girl was Shoto Todoroki. A Beauty Hyper Contest Ranker that he had met at a Contest Hall in the city of Hosu. Apparently his mom had a rivalry with Shoto's mom Rei. Shoto had actually asked her mom before he had left if she could go with him to his town to meet her moms rival and learn more for Master Rank Contests.
Since Izuku had called his mom telling him where he was going she made calls to former rivals and some friends she had made. The weird part, to Izuku was that the people he had to meet almost always had daughters.
It was too bad Izuku was training like crazy the past couple years and didn't watch T.V. that much or talk with others . Otherwise he would have known Melissa Shield was the daughter of the famous Hero Scientist David Shield. Or that Momo Yaoroyozo was the Heiress of the Hero Company Creation. Or that other girl Itsuka Kendo. The rising fighting type master who started challenging civilian Gyms.
The only male friends he made were Eijirou Kirishima and a Denki Kaminari. Those two wished to be Heroic Pokemon Rangers as a rescue team. Those two actually helped him with finding out how to evolve the Rhydon and Electrabuzz respectively.
Eijirou was a master of Rock types as they matched his Quirk: Harden. The only different type on his team was a lone steel/ground type Steelix. His others included Gigalith, two different Golems, a Dusk form of Lycanroc, and an Aggron.
Denki specialized in Electric types. Especially the ones looking like rodents. A Pikachu, a Togedemaru, a Minun and Plusle combo, Dedenne, and Morpeko were his team. These Pokemon had helped Denki limit and control his own Quirk: Electrification.
Before he could get to the gate of his house he heard a feminine yell of rage.
"Deku!"
Izuku paled. Only one person would say that. He could only hope he wouldn't get too hurt. She would only say that word if she was truly mad at him.
Right in his family doorway stood Katsuki Bakugou. She held her hands on her hips and glared down at him with ruby eyes.
Izuku gulped. His childhood friend Katsuki had grown...very curvaceous over the year he had been gone. Her hips looked nice, lips looked soft and pink, and her breasts were...perky and round. The tight black sweatshirt and the black yoga pants didn't do anything to help him either.
Shoto looked between Katsuki and Izuku. Her head moved back and forth looking at the two. She stepped back and giggled. Now she knew why Izuku would not fawn over her beauty like most of the fans she had gain in Contests. He had to deal with the blonde bombshell back home.
With her thoughts coming around, this made more sense than ever. No wonder he didn't swoon of fall for the girls he met on his Civilian Journey. Melissa Shield didn't have the same bright gold hair. Momo Yaoroyozo didn't have those red piercing orbs. Itsuka Kendo couldn't compare to the lithe muscles and royal cheeks of her face. With a nod she finished her comparison. Katsuki also had more curves than her. No wonder she lost him whenever he tried speaking about his friend.
"Umm...Hi Kacchan?"
"Did you just 'Hi, Kacchan' me Deku? Do you know how long you took to come back? I still need someone to battle. You are the only one I can spar with in town until I go to U.A. Academy. You owe me a spar Deku. I hope your not rusty."
Then she noticed Shoto. "Who are you?"
Shoto smiled. "Just a friend. I want to see you both battle. I am going to be a Beauty Contest Hero. Don't worry about me."
Katsuki narrowed her eyes and grunted.
Izuku started running. "I'll meet you at the Rolling Hills!"
The girls walked together. "So," Shoto began, "You really ~ like~ him?" She stretched out the word like. Her eyebrows lifted in suggestion. To her confirmation Katsuki blushed a brilliant shade of red.
Besides learning from a Master Rank Contester this would be fun before getting into U.A. These two childhood friends would be fun to tease. Given she had a unique stoic expression and could possibly make them both blush like crazy! It would be hilarious! A small grin formed on Shoto's face. Let it begin.
