The weekend of the Winter Formal Dance had finally come upon Bayview High. With Jade rushing around trying to make things perfect, the Rangers thought it'd be nice to finally get back to their roots since the Twilight had been inactive for quite some time.

Sonia had never felt so at ease while she was on stage. Rehearsals for the musical were getting more intense, and she spent most of her time practicing.

Liam spent most of his own free time getting lost in the pages of numerous novels.

Alicia, wanting to spend time away from archery and witchcraft, spent her time cooking. Cooking was actually one of her "forgotten" talents, as she never had time to spend using it.

Noah, between Lacrosse and taking pictures with his camera, helped out at the marine biology clinic his mother ran.

Jared spent his time helping Jules acclimate to the new environment. The Rangers met up in the quad after school to discuss all their plans for the weekend.

Liam then brought up, "We should get going before it starts."

"Yeah, you're right." Alicia said. "I made this plate of cookies for all of us to share afterwards."

Jared smiled. "We don't wanna be late!"

The five found seats in the stands of the school turf field next to Tobias and Jade.

"Is this seat taken?" Lydia asked Alicia with a smile. Alongside Lydia were both Ezra and Bobby.

"Not at all," Alicia hugged her best friend, then kissed her boyfriend.

"Excuse me," Bobby politely told Jared. Reluctantly, the boy in red scooted over for Bobby to sit with Alicia, while Lydia sat on the Pink Ranger's other side. Tobias, seeing this, reassuringly patted Jared on the back.

Noah was about to face off with another lacrosse player. In moments, the game started and the heat was on. The Rangers cheered for their friend as he tore down the field, weaving around defenders. He dashed forward and shot the ball, earning a goal. The crowd erupted with cheers.

The game ended with Bayview winning 4-3 in a last second goal. The Rangers waited for Noah to come out of the locker room. When he did, he had a huge smile on his face. The group walked out of school together when Bobby stopped Alicia. When he did, Alicia told the others to go on. She, however, didn't see the look of lack of comfortability on Jared's face. Sonia, Ezra, and Lydia took off in a different direction.

"Hey!" He smiled, "Ready for tonight, beautiful?"

Alicia blushed at her boyfriend's compliment and nodded, "Yeah, can't wait."

"Will they be coming with?" Bobby motioned to the retreating forms of her friends and Tobias. Alicia squinted her eyes and sighed.

"Of course they are. They're my friends."

Bobby frowned and nodded his head, "I know Ally. I know."

~Bayview High School, Later that night~

The boys found themselves in front of the gym doors, feeling the beat of the music travel toward them. Jared whispered in disdain, "Why am I here?"

Noah, from behind, clapped his hands onto Jared's shoulders, "You have to loosen up, man. It'll be fun!"

The boys entered the gym and were very impressed with what they saw. There were blue and silver streams everywhere. The tables to the side were lined with food and beverages. Spotlights, flashing colors and a disco ball made the room shine. The song that was currently playing was "Midnight City" by M83.

Julianna, in her violet dress, smiled at the festivities. "This is all so... cool!" She turned to admire Liam, who wore a black dress shirt, black pants, black shoes, and an emerald green bowtie. "You look handsome, Liam."

"Nah, I'm… uh..." Liam lightly laughed, a small blush making its way across his caramel face. "You look great too, Jules," Liam returned the favor. He saw Jade in the crowd, prompting him and Jules to approach her. "Awesome turn out, Jade!"

"Thanks! I worked hard, but it wouldn't be right to take the credit." Jade motioned to Tobias who was chatting with a couple of classmates, and Lydia, who was dancing with Alicia and Sonia.

Tobias made eye contact with Jared and quickly made his way over.

"Well, well, well! Look who decided to show up!" He smiled, greeting the boys.

"Hey, Tobias. What's up?" Jared asked with a grin.

Tobias replied, "You know, making all this happen." Tobias looked on at his friends and studied them. Bags were under Jared's eyes, Noah's eyes darted from place to place, Liam's left hand was wrapped in a few bandages while Jules used makeup to conceal a small bruise on her left cheek. Not wanting to tip off Jade, who was having a conversation with Jules, Tobias quipped, "You guys work hard yourselves. I'm gonna make it my personal mission for you to have a fun time." The boys grinned at Tobias' sincerity.

"Okay, you've twisted my arm enough!" Noah laughed clapping Tobias on the back. "Let's have a time!"

With that, the group began to get lost in a sea of students, listening to the music. It worked for a bit, the Rangers were able to finally, for the first time in what seemed like forever, feel normal. Jared laughed as Liam and Noah danced a bit too wildly. To him and Tobias, "dancing" would be too generous to describe what the Blue and Green Rangers were doing in the middle of the dance floor.

By chance, Jared looked up to see that Alicia was dancing with Bobby next to the DJ table.

Liam noticed the look on Jared's face and pulled him away. Liam's voice couldn't be heard over the DJ yelling, "Hey, Bayview High! Are you all ready for a good time?" along with the crowd cheering.

Outside the school, a group of uninvited guests approached all doors. Their sensitive ears could hear the hundreds of heartbeats inside. Their beautiful faces transformed into more monstrous visages as fangs grew in their mouths.

The leader of this group sniffed the air and said, "Dinner."

Inside the gym, a girl screamed at the top of her lungs. At first, it went unnoticed. But when more people began to scream, the music was cutoff.

The Rangers all felt a chill run down their spines. A sense of bloodthirst hung in the air and weighed on them. This all too familiar feeling told them one thing: Vampires were attacking.

Jared turned to Liam, Tobias, Noah, and Julianna and said, "Get everyone out now!"

The Slayer zeroed in on a Vamp and kicked it into a wall before it could attack a group of Freshmen. Jared looked all around the chaos that ensued within the gym. People were screaming, shouting, and pushing. While some made it out of the emergency doors, many others were rounded up by Vampires. Jared quickly located his friends and pulled them away, "We've got to get out of here."

As they ran, Jared noticed that Tobias' arm was bleeding. He was cut defending Jade from a Vampire's claws.

Within ten minutes, the gym was under lockdown. All the rangers had escaped and hid in the cafeteria.

"We have to morph and get everyone out." Noah said with conviction.

"But we can't fight," Sonia protested. "Not with that many hostages."

"We need help." Liam said. Suddenly, he heard voices. He followed them and stopped in front of a supply closet. Slowly, Liam wrapped his fingers around the handle and pulled.

Jade had tears streaming down her face. Her hands were red from clutching her wheelchair too hard. She, Bobby, and Lydia were crouched together with mixed expressions on their faces. Lydia, of course, knew the situation better.

"What the hell is happening?" Jade asked, "Who were they?"

"Lydia, it'd be hard to explain." Liam answered, calmly.

Jade piped up. "The dance we planned so hard for is being crashed by freaks! You obviously know something, so spill it!"

Jared could sense the despair in her voice.

"Okay…" Jared sighed, "I'll explain everything." The others looked at their leader with shock. Noah and Jared exchanged a silent look before Noah nodded.

Inside the gym, the vampires roamed around. The head vampire said, "What a feast."

Another suggested, "We should eat them now!"

"No, not yet. The time must be right..."

The many students squirmed in fear.

"You freaks don't scare me!" Ezra stood up, his chest puffed out.

"You should be afraid," The head vampire slowly wove his left hand through his silky blonde hair. He made his teeth glow and his fangs were bared. Ezra lost his nerve and slowly backed up, but he didn't lose enough to sit down. "Lydia…" He whispered, "Ali… Bobby… I hope you guys are safe."

When Jared finished, Bobby said, "Are you serious?" He eyed the Rangers, trying to see if this was some sort of joke. His gaze finally rested on Alicia, who was just as serious as the rest.

Tobias winced in pain and clutched his arm, which was bleeding.

"It's us, Bobby," Alicia confirmed.

Noah sighed, "Yeah. Us six."

"Prove it." Bobby suggested, not believing it.

The six exchanged glances and nodded. Jared walked over to Alicia and pulled her toward him. He looked into her eyes and made his irises go red. Alicia's Soul Gate appeared on her chest. He reached up and slowly put his hand through, fully aware of the irritated gaze Bobby wore.

~Flash~

A young Alicia, maybe 11 or 12 years of age, was wrapping bandages around her brother's arm. The two and Alicia's mom were sitting in the kitchen.

Mrs. Morgan smiled. "I'm impressed, Alicia! You really know what you're doing!"

"Mommy of course I do! Eric, don't move too much or the bleeding will start again!"

Her brother squirmed. "Sorry..."

Alicia laughed. "Don't worry about it!"

The scene froze, and a roll of medical bandage wraps floated in front of Jared. He held out his hand and grabbed them. When he did, something new happened.

A voice rang out. Not a loud and distinct voice, but a clear crisp whisper. The soothing sound found its way to his ears and said, "Lover's Bandages..."

~Flash~

When his vision flashed back to reality, Jared pulled back. Silver and pink streams swirled around him as he pulled out spinning bandage wraps. They were silver in color and every inch there was a pink circle in the center.

Jared smiled. "Bandages... That's just like you, Alicia."

This comment made Alicia smile and Bobby more irritated.

Their classmates looked on in awe. Jared held his arm out toward Tobias. The bandages drifted over to him and wrapped themselves around the wounded boy's arm. A pink glow was emitted from the area and moments later, Tobias was completely healed. Jared let the bandages dissolve into millions of pink lights and re-enter Alicia.

Jade looked up and said, "Let us help you."

Jared shook his head. "No way! It's dangerous for you."

Lydia spoke diplomatically, "Jared, they already know the story. If you can… I don't know, use your powers on them, maybe they can help."

Jade rolled away from the group saying, "Whatever... You can do what you want!"

Jared walked after her.

"Jade, what's wrong?" He asked.

"It's just frustrating." She answered, letting her emotions go.

"What is? What's this about?"

"All this. My life. I lost my legs in an accident. There's a procedure to fix them, but the success rate is low. This dance was one of the few things left I had control over. Now, it's out of my hands like everything else."

"Jade... You can't think like that." Jared said as he put his hand on her shoulder. "Even though you can't stand for yourself, you can still stand up for what's important to you."

Jade's eyes lit up. "You mean?"

The Slayer nodded and said, "I'll make a plan. And Jade? Go for the operation. If there's a chance of getting better, take it."

Inside the gym, the vampires were getting impatient.

"Come on, boss. Let's just eat them. We're all growing irritated." Informed the right hand man.

The leader vampire sighed. "Fine." He answered. "Do as you wish."

RHM shouted, "Hear that, everyone? Go crazy!"

Every vampire in the room howled with rejoice. They were going to pounce, when someone crashed through the upper window. She was flying...

Slamming into one vampire then soaring back through the air was Jade. Her legs were wrapped in a thin metallic coat. The feet were wrapped with a type of circular jet thrusters.

They were known as "Paraplegic's Legs."

(Flashback)

"I don't understand." Jade said looking down at her true soul.

Jared answered, "Your desire to stand up for what you believe in made your true soul take shape as legs that let you fly."

(End Flashback)

The students looked on in shock as Jade flew through the air. The doors to the gym burst with a bright blue light. Tobias stood there with a strange arm mechanism that resembled a flashlight-like device the same size as a Track & Field Baton, that was colored silver.

He pressed a second button, and the end facing the vampires glowed. It shot a white ball forward and when it hit a group of vamps, it expanded into a black sphere.

(Flashback)

"Tobias," Jared explained, "From what I saw, your True Soul has two uses. It's like a blunt key, and a flashlight that brings darkness."

"Jeez," Tobias exasperated, "I know I can be depressing sometimes, but come on..."

(End Flashback)

Noah, in Ranger form, sprinted into the room and sliced a few vampires with his Kwan Dao. Bobby insisted that Jared not pull out his True Soul and was just armed with a stake.

The rest of the rangers, all morphed, entered the gym and engaged in quick battles.

The head vampire was irritated. "Minor annoyances." He turned invisible.

"Where'd he go?" Julianna asked.

"Up there!" Tobias pointed to the ceiling.

"Shadow Drive!" Jules shouted, sending the blast. It hit the head vampire and he fell.

Jared jumped up and the two entered a high paced battle.

Bobby was kicked into a food table. The vampires ran at him. When he got up, they looked at his face and scared expressions crossed their faces. Bobby lunged forward and quickly staked them all.

Alicia untied all the students and led them out along with all the teacher chaperones.

Liam covered their backs as he sent energy discs at pursuing vampires.

Jade flew around holding Sonia's hand as the Yellow Ranger sniped vampires with beams of lightning.

Suddenly, werewolves appeared out of nowhere, thoroughly frightening the vampires. They were cornered, with the bleachers and a blocked off exit on their sides. Then, jars of chemicals hit them and caused them to melt. The werewolves then disappeared in many lights. Standing behind them was Lydia Chase with a circular device with a baton like handle.

"Hacker's Interface," She explained, "Pretty cool."

Tobias saw her slay the vamps. "How'd you do that?" He asked.

"I just went into the chemistry lab and made some molotovs."

"Woah." Tobias said with a wide grin. "Badass."

She playfully winked at Tobias and admired her handiwork.

Jared kicked the head vampire into the ground.

"Who are you?" He asked Jared.

"The Vampire Slayer."

"The Slayer?!"

Jared ignited his fists into flames and replied, "Did I stutter?" Before incinerating the Vampire.

The students and teachers were gathered in the gym when everything cleared.

"How're we gonna undo this?" Liam asked as the crowd cheered for them.

Alicia said, "I have an idea. Guys, the Reversal Spell?"

"Yeah." Sonia replied, "Good idea."

"Okay, good." Alicia motioned to Jade and Bobby. "Can you all stand in front of us?"

"Ok..." Bobby said skeptically.

With Bobby and Jade among the rest of the crowd, the Rangers, sans Jules, began to cast the Reversal spell. Jared and Alicia chanted,

"Let the Object

of Objection

Become but

a Dream

As I cause

the Seen

to be Unseen."

While this happened, Noah drew out some sigils on a napkin while Sonia hummed some musical notes. Liam pressed his hands into the ground and created an Alchemical Spell Seal beneath him. Together, their energies flew outwards as rainbow lights. They passed through the students and teachers, even reaching the students who had escaped earlier.

Afterward, the lights shined brighter and in a second, the gym was back to the way it was before it had been attacked. When the spell subsided, everyone began to come to their senses. However, Bobby and Jade were left dumbfounded. The lights the Rangers cast had completely bounced off of Jade and Bobby.

"That was weird," Jade commented, looking around.

"What did you guys do?" Bobby pressed. The Rangers exchanged looks of shock, not knowing what to do next.

Everyone was dancing as if nothing had happened; the regular students and staff had no recollection of the terrible events that took place.

-The early morning, at HQ-

The Rangers walked into HQ with Jade, Bobby, Tobias, Lydia. The two newcomers looked in awe.

"This place is amazing." Bobby said. "Why'd you bring us here?"

Dr. Bly appeared from around a corner with Claire. "Because you two were able to shrug off the spell of five magic users."

"Dr. Bly?" Jade asked. "What do you mean?"

Claire explained, "You two are brave, and fought with grace and strength. But, we saw that you two are immune to the memory wipe spell. Which can only mean that you two are both Supernatural. Just like the Rangers, just like Tobias and Lydia."

"Supernatural?" Jade asked, "But… how? Why?"

"Bayview is a city unlike most others," Dr. Bly explained, "You saw it yourselves. And now that your identities are clear, your auras are different. You may be targeted."

"Targeted by… evil?" Bobby scoffed.

"There're many dark forces out there," Dr. Bly nodded, "We can help you. Will you join us?"

Jade agreed, as did Bobby though he was reluctant.

Claire thanked the two and apologized, "We'll do everything we can to help you understand your abilities."

The night ended with the entire group of Teens walking out of HQ and into the forest. Still dressed in their formal clothes, they made the short trudge back to civilization. Bobby and Alicia held hands and even in the dim light of the moon, Jared sighed in defeat.

Tobias and Noah noticed, but said nothing. Jules and Liam continued to softly talk about what the future would bring while Sonia wheeled Jade forward.

Something was coming for the Rangers and their allies. They just couldn't quite sense it yet.
