Pokemon Speech: "I am awesome!" Quote from Kota Izumi's Squirtle.

Izuku Midoriya didn't need to go through the Battle Exams to gain entry to the High School Hero Course, so he decided to walk downtown with his Pokemon Ruby. He had both Hecate and Emerald at his side in their Poke Balls. He was going passed a clothing shop when he heard the crackle of flames coming from a nearby alley.

Worried, Izuku rushed to the entrance, only to be the ground were bodies scorched by flames. The clothes of multiple people had tiny embers of a hot flame lightly fading. A badly burnt man with patches underneath his eyes, scarred neck and jaw with staples to hold them together stood with his right hand stretched out. In front of him a shiny blue Houndoom stood in its Mega Evolved form. The mans black trench coat was bathed in a blue light of the now flickering blue flames within his hand.

Ruby growled. Her white fur bristled and her fangs were bared.

A voice came from the man in front of him. It rasped out lightly in deep, gruff, tone. "You should leave kid. Don't try to play Hero. There is no need for fools."

A shiver went down Izuku's spine. "Why did you do this?" Izuku gestured to the bodies with a pale face. He started to shake.

"They wanted my Pokemon. They wanted me to fight. So... I did what I had to do. Are you going to be a Hero?"

"Yes. A Hero for All. For both Pokemon and human. Even if it does make me a fool" Izuku clenched his fist. His passion rising to the surface.

The man nodded. "Hmm. Maybe... you will be..." The man grunted. "What's your name...kid?"

Izuku's lips were dry from the heat and his voice cracked. "Izuku...Izuku Midoriya."

"I'll be watching you kid. Are you going to U.A. next semester?"

"Yes."

"The names Dabi...kid." His fire extinguished in his palm and Dabi turned his back on him. He started to walk away and stopped. "A piece of advice kid... Get stronger. You'll need it. Hopefully you survive."

With that Dabi left the alley smelling of burning flesh and cloth. Izuku dropped to his knees. His eyes grew wide and his breathing grew heavy.

Izuku used Hecate's Teleport to arrive at U.A. after he notified the police, gave his statement, and called Nezu to see if it was alright with him.

By the time he found Nezu, it was past lunch time. The man seemed to stare right through him. A cup of tea in his hands was softly wafting steam in the air. They sat across from each other. Izuku's cup of tea lay untouched.

He sipped his tea slowly. Izuku had slowly started to explain his morning to the man.

"So you need to get stronger?"

"Yeah, not just have my Pokemon do all the work. Sure I can fight, but I'm not nearly as good as I should be."

"So you need tools and weapons to practice with. You also need to prepare for the man you came across. This fire character you said called himself Dabi?"

"Yeah. I know a lot about Pokemon, but I need to know more. I told him that I would be a Hero to both Pokemon and Heroes. I mean I've started with the Dragon Sanctum Forest, but it seems like it isn't enough."

"Have you ever thought of challenging the Pokemon in your care? To swim against Water Pokemon? To fly on the back of your Dragons? To play hide and seek with your mothers canine Pokemon? These are just a few ideas for you."

"I've never really thought about it like that. I've only ever been just fit enough to keep up with my Pokemon and have trained them to the best I could with what I knew of their species and their strengths." Izuku cradled his tea in both hands. "What do you think I should focus on?"

"Well, I suppose you should focus on surpassing the limits of your body." The man chuckled. "Maybe you should give pointers to your pupils that I heard about. I've heard some crazy things have been happening with them, at least from Yamada and Aizawa. Did you know that just the other day they came to me... begging for me to not put their children in the same class as you. They even asked to have not placed in their classes. Quite interesting to see their tears..."

Izuku blinked. He tilted his head and he frowned in confusion. Emerald eyes looked at Nezu. There was genuine concern in the boys voice. "Why would they do that?"

Nezu decided to change the discussion. "Do you want to see how well the students are doing? They should be done with the Pokemon Battle Exam. The Human Battle Exam should be starting soon. Oh, I had a request. Would it be okay if we used four of your Pokemon to cause an extra obstacle in the course? We, the school that is, have a paper you could sign, and you could receive payment for it. It would probably help your mother out...She could use a vacation?"

Izuku grinned at the man. "Okay! Is there any restrictions? I can have it done in twenty minutes or less."

"Sure. No restrictions. Just four Pokemon. I will have it postponed until you get back."

"Okay! See you in a few!"

With a flash Hecate Teleported the teen to the forest.

Nezu calmly moved his empty tea to the side and stood still for a few seconds. He started to pale. Sweat appeared on his brow. How could a teenager not understand the stress it caused on regular people to deal with what the boy had. Legendary Pokemon. Unique Pokemon that are exceptionally rare. Known to not come near humans and yet Izuku Midoriya seemed to attract them like Honey. Then he slammed his head against his desk. He would now have to tell the staff that he had acquired Pokemon to test the Hero Course Applicants.

Fifteen minutes later Izuku had reappeared and been taken to the teacher box to see how well the student applicants did in the exam. Hizashi Yamada had his famous grin strained and Shota Aizawa had a twitch in his left eye. All Might chuckled nervously as he watched the boy sign a contract with Nezu after reading it.

"So...What Pokemon have you chosen for the different sites?" Asked a reluctant Shota.

"Well, my Rhyperior wanted to stretch his limbs out a little, so that's one. My Magmortar has been bored lately so I thought he should join. One of the Dragonites wanted to see how strong other people could be, so he came with. Oh, and I got Mew to come with a bribe of my moms apple pie! That's decent enough Pokemon to test applicants right?"

The people that knew Izuku knew that he was genuine. Shota facepalmed. Hizashi slumped on a chair with a groan. Nezu just sighed.
