The gang walked up to the creepy building and saw that there was a roaring gargoyle on the knocker.

"Zoinks, this looks like something out of a horror movie, but it's real." Shaggy remarked. "Maybe we should go find something else."

"Don't be such a baby, Shag." Daphne said as she used the knocker.

As soon as she knocked, the gargoyle head started to roar.

"Aaaahhh!" The gang screamed.

"Now you believe me, Daph?" Shaggy deadpanned.

"I'm starting to." Daphne gulped.

Just then, the door opened up to reveal a woman in a purple raggy dress.

"Hello, can I help you?" She asked them.

"Oh yes, we're looking for the campgrounds, and we might have missed a turn because we're now lost in the woods." Daphne explained.

"Oh dear, that is quite a pickle." said Miss. Grimwood. "Please come inside while I get you some directions."

The trio nodded as they were ushered in.

Inside the building, it looked all spooky and haunted, like something out of a horror movie.

"Jeepers, this looks like something out of a horror movie." Daphne remarked.

The trio then sat down on the couch, which then started a spooky maniacal laugh.

"Bwah ha ha ha ha ha!" The couch laughed.

"Aaahhh!" They screamed.

"I see you've taken a liking to our couch." said Miss Grimwood. "That couch plays a melodious laugh when someone sits on it."

Shaggy, Scooby and Daphne shared glances with each other before Miss Grimwood said, "I'm going to get a map, you three wait here."

"Please, hurry up." Scooby shivered.

Meanwhile, outside of the building, two ghosts were hiding in the bushes.

"There it is, Weird." said Bogel. "There's the house with the Chest of Demons! Now all we have to do is get someone to open it."

"And why can't we open it, Bogel?" asked Weird.

"Because fool, only humans and mortals can!" Bogel smacked the back of Weird's head. "We are ghosts!"

"Oh yeah, that makes sense." Weird chuckled.

"Now to figure how to get a mortal to open the chest." Bogel said.

He looked around and saw the Enigma Machine parked in front of the school.

"I think I might have an idea..." He evilly grinned.

Back inside, Miss Grimwood returned with the map.

"Here is the map." She said. "Is there anything else I can get you?"

"N-no thanks, we're fine..." Shaggy shivered. "W-w-we'll just be going now..."

Bogel and Weird snuck into the house, ready to turn invisible. They then grabbed the map and made it float to the basement.

"Hey! Get back here!" Shaggy ran after the map.

"Raggy! Rait for me!" Scooby ran after Shaggy.

"Guys, wait up!" Daphne exclaimed.

"Hey! Get back here!" Miss. Grimwood chased after them. "Don't go down there!"

Downstairs, the gang looked for the map.

"Here mappy, mappy, mappy!" Shaggy whistled. "Where are you?"

Scooby sniffed around and found some sort of scary purple chest with a gargoyle head on it.

"Rikes!" Scooby exclaimed, frightened by the sight of the gargoyle head.

"The map is in the chest..." An invisible Bogel whispered in Scooby's ear. "Look in the chest...look in the chest..."

"Raybe re should rook in ra chest..." said a dazed Scooby.

Seeing the dazed Scooby walking towards the chest, Miss Grimwood rushed over.

"Oh no, you won't!" She exclaimed as she pointed towards Scooby.

"Huh?" The gang turned around.

"Do not open this chest!" Miss Grimwood warned them. "It's dangerous!"

"Dangerous?" Shaggy gulped.

"Why?" asked Daphne.

Miss. Grimwood was about to speak. "Because, it-"

Before Miss. Grimwood could explain, the invisible Bogel pushed Scooby, causing him to knock down the strange chest, which opened right up as soon as it hit the ground.

"That's why..." Miss. Grimwood gulped.

Seeing the fireworks coming out from the Chest, Shaggy and Daphne turned towards Miss Grimwood in concern.

"Like, what's happening?" Shaggy asked.

All of a sudden, a large light beam shot right out of the chest and thirteen shadowy figures flew out of the box and into the outside world.

"This isn't happening...this isn't happening..." Daphne started hyperventilating.

"I...really don't like...the looks of this." Shaggy said.

Scooby whimpered and covered up his face.

Lastly, a man and a woman climbed out of the chest.

"Freedom! Sweet freedom!" They cheered.

"Wait a minute!" Daphne said as she looked at the woman. "You're Heather Jasper Howls! The news anchor that went missing a few months ago!"

"Oh, I really don't like the looks of this." Shaggy remarked.

"What's going on here?!" Daphne demanded.

Just then, five monster girls came downstairs to see what all the ruckus was about.

"Is something wrong, Miss. Grimwood?" asked Winnie. "We heard a crash!"

"Zoinks!" Shaggy and Scooby gasped as they saw the monster girls.

"What's going on here?!" Daphne demanded.

As that happened, Phanty sensed Bogel and Weird's presence.

"Girls, my ghostly senses are tingling!" She said. "It seems there are other ghosts in the vicinity besides me!"

"Bwah ha ha ha ha!" Bogel and Weird turned visible and appeared before the gang.

"Aaaahhhh!" Scooby and Shaggy fainted.

"Now what?" Daphne demanded.

"Fools! You have opened up the Chest of Demons and now doom and mayhem will spread across the land!" The two ghosts laughed manically.

"So long, chumps!" Bogel gloated.

The two ghosts both laughed manically and flew out of the basement.

"Okay, what on earth was that?" Daphne asked.

Miss Grimwood sighed. "Oh boy...you're in for a long, long tell..."
