A/N: A few months have passed and the twins know who they are. Steve Burton is Jason and Billy Miller is Drew Cain. Sam and Jason are divorced. Liz is engaged to Jason.

Jason knew that Franco was out of town, but he would soon be back. The house that he lives with his fiancée and family is close to his mother's place. He knew that he needed a back-up plan in case Franco decides to start playing his game. Liz stays home with their boys and is painting again. The boys are being home-schooled because of the danger that surrounds them. Liz is thankful that she has her two best friends, Johnny and Francis back living with them.

They are under Maximus's protection. Jason is back working with Sonny. He is working towards making everything go legit. The five families are all for everyone going legal. The only problem, is until then there is still a power struggle due to other families wanting to take over the territories of the five families.

Max and Milo are still working for Sonny. Carly has come to accept Jason and Liz being together, but she is not happy about it. Drew and Sam have remarried and Drew has found out about his son, Oscar. Sam and Jason share custody of Danny. Sam didn't want to let Danny near Liz, but she knew that it was the right thing.

Drew and Jason knew that the best thing for them to do was to have the boys stay with Drew if Franco came back. Jason, Drew, Liz and Sam got together and talked about Cameron, Jacob and Aiden. They decided that Drew and Sam would take the three boys off the grid when Franco came back. Jason found a place in Texas near the Mexico border. It was a ranch with cattle and horses. It was two hundred acres and Francis would go down there with them. It was a working ranch with lots of room. They all took the children down there for a week's vacation to see if they liked it. Sam felt that she could stay down there forever. She truly loved it. Emily and Danny loved hanging out with Jake and his brothers. Emily was really too young to know what was going on, but all the boys knew that trouble was brewing.

Spinelli called Jason to tell him that Franco was heading back into town. He had recruited some men to come back with him. They were supposed to leave the following week. Jason called Drew so he knew that they needed to head down to Texas.

Drew called Sam and told her to pack. He was going to help the boys get ready and then they were heading for Texas. Drew had arranged for a plane to fly them down to the ranch. The care takers of the ranch were already setting everything up for the family to come down.

The boys took their dog with them so it would keep them occupied. There were so many things to do and see on the ranch, but they were afraid for their parents. Danny was upset because Jason was staying up there with Liz knowing that the two of them were in danger. He didn't understand that if his brothers had stayed that Franco would use them to get back at Elizabeth and Jason.

Johnny had found a couple of other men to help protect Liz and Jason. Liz did go out, but she always had someone with her. It was usually to Kelly's and sometimes to GH. She missed her friends and so she would go see them every once in a while. Franco had someone watching her at all times, even when he was gone. Franco knew her every move. Franco knew that he was going to have to get Liz alone before he could start his games.

Franco had been back for two weeks when he was able to get Liz. She had gone to Kelly's to pick up a lunch order for Jason, Johnny and herself. She had picked up the order when she walked outside, Johnny was nowhere to be seen. She tried to go back inside the diner, but Franco grabbed her and knocked her out. Liz left her purse, cell and lunch right in front of the diner and then she vanished.

Jason knew something was wrong when he tried to call her. She always answered her phone. Then he tried to call Johnny. Johnny had been roughed up and chloroformed when the phone started to ring. He was able to answer it. "I am sorry, Jason. They got me at the diner and knocked me unconscious. I just came too when you called. She is gone. She left her purse and our lunch. Franco must have her."

"I am on my way. I will get in touch with Spinelli and see if he can help us. There is still hope. I will not give up. She means to much to me." Jason headed to Kelly's when Franco called him on Elizabeth's phone.

"Hey. I heard that you lost something this afternoon. Don't worry, she will be fine as long as you do everything that I tell you to do. I know the boys are with Drew on the ranch in Texas. Someone has been watching over you since the bitch broke my heart. She will pay for that and so will you. I can have the boys grabbed at any time. I have a lot of money and that can pay for a lot of help. The men that I hire are not afraid of breaking any laws. Just remember that I always win."

Jason's face paled when he heard what he knew. Johnny heard everything and was on the phone to Drew. "Drew, this is Johnny. Franco has Elizabeth and knows the boys are with you on the ranch. Can you have Francis take you all somewhere safer. There is too much area to see if anyone tries to come up on you. We should have known that he would have someone watching even when he was not here."

Drew thought about it and said that he knew where he could take his family to keep them safe. "I will tell Francis where we can go. When we get there, Francis will tell you both where we are. Just protect Jason and find Elizabeth. Sam and I will take care of the children. Thank you for calling. Send my brother my love." Johnny and Drew said goodbye and hung up their phones.

Drew went to Francis and told him about Elizabeth and Franco. "I know of a place that is off the grid. It has everything that we need for us to survive. There is plenty of food and supplies to take care of us till summer. We are going in the complete opposite direction. We are headed to Canada. The house is in the mountains in a very remote area. The house has solar panels and generators when there is not enough sunlight to power the panels. I know that it is winter, but no one would think of us going north. They would think that we would head south or west."

Francis knew that Drew had a good plan. "Drew, I have one that is even better and the weather will be better. There is a safehouse in Colorado. It is just outside of Aspen. Everything is secure. There is a remote entrance and only Johnny and I know it. Jason knows about it, but has never been there in case someone forces it out of him. The only thing that he could say it was in the mountains of Colorado. When we get to the entrance we will be taking our vehicles through a couple of tunnels. We will arrive at the compound and you will see that it is very safe. In case of an emergency we have a bunker underground. It is stocked up with everything that is needed down there for three months. The compound is the same way. There is plenty of beds, bathrooms and places for the children to be occupied. If the weather is good, there are places for them to ski, sled or skate. When it is warmer, it will great for hikes. There is an electrical fence that will knock out anyone looking for us. Johnny will take Jason here once everything is safe. He has my number and he will not give us up. We need to leave now. We can get some provisions on our way. I know that the children will want their favorite things and some new clothing. I know where we can order it now and pick it up on the way. Just give me Scout and Danny's sizes. I already have things ordered for Cam, Jake and Aiden. Johnny knows we are leaving and will tell Jason once we are on our way. I wish that we could stay here. It is beautiful and Scout and the boys have been having a great time. But, we need to get serious to beat this monster."

Drew sighed and went to tell Sam what was going on. Everyone was packed up and headed in their vehicles towards Colorado. It would take a couple of days due to riding with children. It would have been a day if it was just Drew and Francis. Scout, Danny and their cousins would need time to stretch, eat and sleep in a nice hotel. Francis had already paid for the hotels under one of his alias's. They drove from the ranch near Brownsville, Texas to just north of San Antonio, Texas. This will be far enough away for the first day. There was no need to rush to where they were going. The vehicles that were used at the ranch were ditched in Brownsville. They bought two SUVs to take them to the compound. There was a trailer that stored their things and to gather new supplies. Everything was in their new names and Francis disabled the GPS systems on the vehicles. They bought burner phones and left their cell phones behind. That included the boys, who weren't happy but they got to keep their photos and that was it. Everything was gone because the apps could be traced to them. It was hard, but Cam and Jake knew it was important. They could get another cell phone, but not another mother. Danny had a hard time because he didn't understand what it had to do with him. Jason was his father and he was upset for him and scared, but he didn't think that Franco would care about him. Drew explained that Jason would hurt if something happened to him and that was why Franco would use him. Scout, Drew and Sam would just be collateral damage.

They got to the compound just as the sun was setting. There was going to be a fresh snowfall and it would take care of their tracks. Francis and Drew opened up the gate to let the SUVs pass onto the property. There was an invisible fence protecting the property. Francis would know if anyone had followed them or went on the property by accident. It would show the person or animal on one of the many screens that were set up along the property.

The boys loved Texas, but found Colorado was even better. Drew was able to get in touch with his brother on his burner phone. He told Jason where they were at and the boys were fine. It was amazing how they could take any situation and do what was necessary to survive. "Have you heard anything more about Elizabeth? I know you are worried and the boys are too. Francis and I know that you will find her and bring her home safely. We are keeping you in our prayers."

Jason was happy that he and his brother, Drew had finally become family. It was tough at first, but Jason knew that he could count on his brother and Francis to take care of his sons. "I will call you when I know anything. Thank you for all that you are doing. It means a lot to both Elizabeth and myself. Love you brother."

"I love you too. Bring back Lizzie and then we can all celebrate."

Franco was not happy that he couldn't get a hold of the boys. I wanted to bring Jason to his knees by having Elizabeth and her sons with him. He wanted Jason to see him torture Elizabeth and kill her. He wanted the boys to watch what was happening and then do the same to Jason. When he was finished, he would take the boys with him.

Franco started to get upset and Elizabeth knew that she could use this to her advantage. She knew about the burner phones and a way she could get a message to them. She just had to think like Spinelli, so he could figure it out and tell Jason. That way, even if Franco saw the messages, he would not think it was anything. Just a bunch of gibberish.

"Franco, you have to know that Jason will find me and save me. He loves me and he is a much better lover than you ever could be. I was a fool to be with you for any amount of time. I wasted so much time on a loser like you. You make me sick. I could give you lessons, but you could never be half the man that he is."

Franco just kept getting madder every time she spoke. "You need to shut up! I have had enough of you and I can't wait till your boyfriend falls into my trap and he can watch me slowly kill you. Then I will have a great painting, like I did before I met you. You took that wildness from me and now you are going to give it back. You need me to teach you a lesson." He grabbed her by her hair and threw her against the wall. She looked at him with such hatred that he was shocked. He was about to hit her again when the phone rang. He forgot she was loose and when he started talking on his phone, she ran into the next room. She found a phone lying by a bed and texted Jason's burner phone. She gave directions to where they were at and told him to get their fast because he was losing his grip. She also told him that she loved him.

Spinelli was there and was able to decipher the message that she sent. Jason knew where they were at and could go save her. He was happy, but he prayed it wasn't a set up. He knew that it could be and that Elizabeth might not even knew that she is being set up. He just prayed he was wrong.

Franco was at a safehouse just on the outskirts of town. Franco was smart in a lot of ways, but he never had anyone who loved him like Elizabeth loved Jason. He thought that she was his angel and when he realized that he was being used, he couldn't handle it. Most of his men were searching for her sons. He had no clue where they could have gone, but he paid really good money for them to do what he wanted them to do. He found Elizabeth hiding in a closet in the next room. She had already finished her message and she acted like she was just trying to find a place to hide, not seeking help from outside.

Jason got up to the safehouse. Spinelli checked the house and found that there were only four people in the building. Johnny and Jason got out and went inside the house. The power was cut off and Elizabeth screamed. Franco grabbed her and hauled her into the living room. He tied her to a chair and knew that Jason was there. It was too soon for a fair fight, but Franco thought that he would get his way. He never truly understood that Jason was ten times the man he was when it came to fighting. To Jason, this was like any other day, except for Elizabeth. He would lay down his life for her and she would do the same for him.

Johnny took out the nearest guard and Jason took the one who came up behind him. The lights were off, but Jason and Johnny could see because of their infra red glasses. They look like they were on the SWAT team. Spinelli was able to tell Jason where Elizabeth and Franco were and the best way to get to them. Jason was able to grab Franco from behind. Johnny went to get Elizabeth from her chair and get her out safely. Elizabeth knew that the house was rigged to blow if something happened to Franco. He had a bomb on him so if he went so would anyone who was with him.

Johnny was able to tell Jason what Elizabeth had just said. He knew that his only chance was to run and then shoot him. Franco thought that he had won. He forgot that Elizabeth knew. Jason pushed him one way and ran the other. He didn't even need to shoot him because when Franco was pushed he hit the button to blow everyone up. Franco and his two guards did die, but Jason, Elizabeth and Johnny were able to get out of the house before it blew. The trigger had a timed mechanism and it was long enough for everyone to get out.

When Jason got back to their vehicle he was able to call Francis and have the children come home. The only problem was the men that were paid by Franco to take them out. He didn't know what the other men had planned in case of Franco being killed or caught. They knew that the men were going to go after them, but hopefully paying them off would be enough for it to be over.

Two days later the boys were back home safely. Elizabeth had a slight concussion and a few bruises but that was all. Francis got in touch with the men who were hired by Franco. He paid them off and they were very happy. Drew told Jason that the ranch was beautiful place to relax and calm down. Jason said a trip to Hawaii might be better.

"I was hoping that you could do me a favor. Sam and I love Port Charles, but the kids seem to thrive on the ranch. Do you think that you could sell it so we could move down there permanently. I will pay you fair price and you will always have a place to vacation when you want to see us."

Jason knew that Drew deserved the ranch. He had taken care of his sons so they would be safe. Money was never important to him or Elizabeth. Family and love were the important things in their lives. "You and Sam can live there. There is no reason to pay for something that is family. I could pay you for running the ranch. Money isn't my thing, but family is everything. I know that the boys and Elizabeth feel the same way. I trust that you and Sam will have a great life down there, but be careful of any strangers. It is still a bit wild there in Texas."

Monica was happy that her sons were getting along so well. She would miss Drew but she knew that she could always go down to Texas for a vacation. Elizabeth and Jason decided to move to Hawaii. Elizabeth was going to paint and Jason was going into security with Spinelli, Francis and Johnny.

A/N: The last part will be how things are going in Texas and Hawaii.
