"Why am I here?" Alicia inquired as she sat in practically all darkness. The girl was already having a pretty bad day; her brother Evan decided it would be fun to prank her all day with faulty sinks, fart cushions, and other inconveniences. She was tempted to cast a revenge spell but decided against it. Before she could yell at him, she was called away by Dr. Hale, the head of Magic School. At this point, she was still fuming over her brother.

Cross legged, she faced what seemed to be a small cave out in the wild. Actually, it was a room with a spell cast on it inside Magic School. A small fire boiling a pot rested in front of her and flickered back and forth. A girl around Alicia's age stepped out of the darkness wearing a brown headband and wolf cloak over Native American style clothing. She was tan in skin complexion but had green eyes.

"I sense conflict within your spirit." The mysterious girl informed her.

"You're a Shaman, right?" Alicia asked.

Nodding, the girl answered, "I led you here for a reason. My name is Anya. I sense that lately your powers are off balance."

"Off balance?"

"Your telekinesis and empathy are under control, but your precognition has been unreliable."

"I've noticed... I just can't see the future as much as I used to."

"Without mastery over this ability, your powers won't advance further."

"I already have power." Alicia protested, her blood rushing to her face.

"Your magic is strong, but your feelings about it are warped."

Irritated, Alicia shook her head. "Fine. What do you want me to do?"

Anya picked up a clay cup and dipped it in the pot, letting black tea flow into it. "Drink this."

Alicia sniffed the contents and cringed; the tea smelt strongly of black coffee and medicine. She took a sip and immediately felt her head swim. Within seconds, she lost consciousness.

~Vision Quest~

Alicia found herself walking through an empty house. It was pretty big, but it was no mansion. Completely empty, she walked through the front hallway and across the living room that rested near a sunroom. The only thing that stood out inside the living room was a glowing unattached white door standing dead center. Curious, Alicia slowly shuffled away when she sensed an attack. Looking to her left, a demon jumped from the staircase railings and landed on her back.

"Etativel!" Alicia chanted in aggravation. She magically shot into the air and slammed the demon onto the ceiling, making him let go.

"Nrub!" She waved her hands, causing the attacker to catch fire. When he vanished into a pile of ash, Alicia descended to the floor and continued toward the door. Grabbing the handle, she threw the door open, only to be met with a huge force. In a bright light, Alicia felt as if she was punched hard in the stomach.

~Magic School Cave~

Alicia found herself knocked onto the ground with a dizzy feeling in her head.

"What just happened?" She asked Anya.

"You failed the Vision Quest."

"How'd I fail? I don't have any guidelines to go by!"

"You must try again until you get it right."

After several failed attempts, Alicia was called away by Jared; there was an attack in town.

"Don't rely too much on your magic right now, Alicia. If you use one more powerful spell, I fear what will happen with your emotional state."

~Cue Theme~

~Dark Void~

King Cepheus was as irritated as ever. Slamming his fist down upon the high chair arm, he yelled for his forces.

"Yes, my liege?" Slade asked, dropping to one knee. Behind him were Phoenix, Wiseman and Medusa followed by Roxas and Alviss.

"My powers are growing... I can feel it." In a small flash of darkness, Cepheus reverted to his human form. It was that of an old man; though old, he was full of confident energy. He had no hair but his dark eyes could pierce those with the thickest of skin. His black royal robes were still intact.

"Slade, I have seen the opportunity before us. You know what must be done. For our people, the Twilightians, we must take Earth."

"Yes, my King. The Pink Ranger can be used to our advantage. We will get on it right now."

~Bayview~

As usual, the Rangers fought off droves of Shadowlites and Demons hired by Slade. The teens easily swept through most of them with their weapons.

"What's their game?" Noah asked backflipping away from an attack. Ending up back to back with Jared, he continued, "There has to be some sort of plan, right?"

"I don't know, but we have to keep it going!" Jared replied as he and Noah jumped high into the air. Sonia and Asher fried the foot soldiers with a mixture of lightning and shining light.

Slade, Phoenix, Medusa, Wiseman, Alviss and Roxas were standing on a rooftop watching the scene unfold. Next to them was a very powerful teenage looking Warlock. He stood at about 6 feet, had black hair with red highlights, peach skin and fierce amber eyes. He wore a brown hunter coat, black pants and boots.

"Do what must be done." Slade told him handing the warlock a black and silver crossbow; he then pointed at Jared.

"What's in that arrow?" Alviss asked Slade as the Warlock jumped off the building. Slade explained, "When the arrowhead enters the Slayer, it will break off and stay inside him. Laced in it is a soul infecting virus that won't only attack his soul, but the phantom inside him as well as the soul essence that grants humans the power of the Slayer. The boy will be dead within the hour."

Alviss was going to step forward but stopped himself. He knew how this would play out.

Within moments, the Warlock made his way through the crowd and near Jared as he sliced a few more Shadowlites apart. With a quick crack of the crossbow, the arrow flew at the Slayer and pierced his stomach. Surging with unexpected pain, Jared let out a bloodcurdling scream. His Ranger form immediately collapsed and his human form began to glow with a fiery aura.

"Jared!" Liam shouted as he fought his way through the enemy.

"No!" Sonia whispered, kicking a Shadowlite off of her. While Jared writhed on the ground, the Twilightians withdrew their forces, their mission complete.

"Wake up, Jared." Chris beckoned as he shook Jared's shoulders.

"Come on buddy." Noah whispered kneeling.

Asher looked away with a sense of nervous tension while Alicia completely zoned out. The girl felt something inflate inside her. Frantically, Chris called for Devon to heal him. When his light wouldn't work, the inflation in Alicia exploded.

Muttering a teleportation spell, she left the scene.

~HQ~

"Alicia?" Tobias asked standing up from the computer. The boy's eyes were full of worry and fear. "What're you doing here?"

"I need to get to the archives." Alicia answered plainly.

"Why?" Lydia questioned.

"Where the dark magic books are." This caused Tobias to run in front of Alicia and hold his hands forward to stop her.

"Alicia, I know you're upset but we need to calm down here."

"He's right." Lydia replied standing up. "Jared will be ok."

"No. He won't." Alicia telekinetically through Lydia and Tobias onto their backs and walked toward the archives. She forced the doors open with her powers and summoned piles and piles of black books.

"Etativel." The numerous books floated around her in an organized spinning dance.

"Alicia... no..." Tobias grunted trying to get up.

Glowing in demented shades of pink, the ink contents of the books flowed off the pages and into Alicia herself.

"Alicia, these magics are too powerful!" Lydia protested.

When the books dropped to the ground, Alicia closed her eyes and breathed in a new sense of power.

"Sweetie... I am the magics." With one stroke of her arm, Lydia and Tobias went flying once more and into unconsciousness.

"I have a little work to do." When she opened her eyes, the usual brown was replaced by a pitch black. Her beautiful brown hair turned into a demented black with red highlights.

~Hospital~

"Why the hell is he here?!" Noah demanded.

"It's the best we could do right now." Liam replied trying to calm his friend down.

"If we couldn't save him, what makes you think doctors can?!" Noah half shouted.

Chris grabbed Noah by the arm and whispered, "Calm down... don't draw attention."

Clearly frustrated, Noah pulled away. The doors to the waiting room opened and Alicia entered.

"Alicia?" Sonia asked standing up.

Without a reply, Alicia walked by them and into the ER. Worried, the Rangers followed.

When the Rangers got inside the ER, Alicia cast a spell making all the Doctors and Nurses walk out like Zombies.

"What're you doing? Jared's gonna die!" Chris protested.

"No he won't." Alicia whispered, raising her hands. Jared's body jerked upwards and hundreds of colored string-like energy flowed from his entrance room and into her hands. When she had finished, Jared was fully healed; his life was out of danger. The next moment came fast; Alicia disappeared into thin air...

~Underworld~

The Underworld looked similar to our world, but felt more demonic and barren. Throughout the evil realm, Demons and Warlocks alike ran in fear as Alicia floated forward looking for her target. He wasn't that hard to find because she found him bragging out loud how he killed the Slayer.

"Yeah, he wasn't so tough." He boasted with his chest puffed up in confidence. "I don't know how he lasted this long."

With pure fury, Alicia sent a magical wave from her mind and knocked the Warlock off his feet.

"You! You're the Pink Ranger."

"And you're about to die. You threatened my friends and almost killed Jared."

"Shut up!" The Warlock screamed sending acid from his palms. The liquid hit Alicia and forced her back giving the Warlock enough time to escape to the Upper World.

Annoyed, Alicia followed unscathed.

~HQ~

"You guys have to find her quick..." Tobias weakly stated. The Rangers had found Lydia and Tobias on the floor and helped them to their feet. Chris and Asher watched the computers while everyone else, minus Jared who was resting in the hospital, crowded around their weakened friends.

"She absorbed the contents of the forbidden books." Lydia explained. "Of course Claire and Dr. Bly are away... Just when we need them the most."

Suddenly, the alarm went off and the computer blinked to life, zeroing in on Alicia's signal.

~ Forest~

The Warlock darted between trees throwing down traps as he went along. He knew he couldn't run forever. He yelled in anguish as his pumping legs began to weaken. Looking behind him, he spotted Alicia calmly floating towards him dispelling all booby traps.

Snapping her fingers, metal chains materialized from the air and bound him.

"Please... don't hurt me..." He pleaded, his red eyes widening with fear.

"You should have thought of that before." Alicia responded coldly. Raising her left finger tip, she created a small flame, like a candle, over her nail. Smoothly, she dragged the fire tipped finger down the Warlock's face making him scream.

"Stop, Alicia!" Sonia beckoned as she, Noah and Liam ran from the bushes. Chris and Asher stayed behind at HQ to make sure the Twilight didn't attack again.

"You don't have to do this!" Liam reasoned. "Let him go! He's still part human!"

"No..." Alicia replied after taking a moment to think. "He's a monster. Just as bad as the demons we vanquish." With that, she threw her right hand high above her head, ripping all of the Warlock's skin off. Gasping and covering her mouth, Sonia took a step back and whipped her head away. Noah and Liam stared in shock at what had just happened. With a look of satisfaction, Alicia snapped her fingers and burned the rest of the Warlock's corpse... Looking in the sky, she was far from done...
