The audience teems with excitement as the final two competitors of the first bracket are raised into the Grand Arena. They aren't excited because of this last fight, but rather because of the upcoming second bracket, in which all of the competitors will have already shown some degree of competence by emerging victorious in the first round. Nicolas and LX-66 seem to be the current fan favorites, while Kyle's bounty is still rising, with many people placing money on his loss rather than his victory. However, one Ciqufrinz begins his announcement, the crowd goes quiet again and returns their attention to the two fighters in the battleground.

"Welcome to the final fight of the first bracket! As you may have already deduced, the two fighters here are Swagg and Gibble the Goblin King! The theme for this matchup is 'Control Freaks'! Once this round is over, we will have a brief intermission to allow for the victors to recuperate and prepare for the next bracket, and for the audience members to browse our large selection of shops and activities within the Arena! After that intermission, we will jump straight into the second bracket, so stay tuned for that! Now, blow that horn and let us begin!"

On command, Attota indeed blows the horn, and while Gibble gets off of his pedestal right away, Swagg remains in place, nodding his head with his eyes closed, occasionally doing a brief air guitar solo. Gibble scowls at Swagg, not pleased with the fact that his own presence isn't even being acknowledged by the small alien creature. Gibble grabs Swagg and forcibly turns his head to face him.

"Pay attention to me!" Gibble sharply hisses to Swagg, but the alien's grooving remains uninterrupted. Gibble angrily slaps Swagg several times in the face, and finally Swagg's eye opens and his smirk becomes a frown. Swagg watches Gibble's lips move as he continues barraging Swagg with all sorts of unpleasant phrases and commands.

"Dude, I can't even hear you, but you're killing the vibe. And because of that, I'll be killing you." Swagg promptly uppercuts Gibble, sending the goblin king skywards with his tiny fists. Swagg cranks up the volume on his headphones enough that the sound waves begin pulsing throughout the whole Grand Arena, and Gibble clutches his head in anger and frustration. Swagg steps over to Gibble, bobbing with the rhythm as he approaches the king. Gibble swipes at Swagg, but quickly retracts his arm to cover his ears once more due to the intense music still blasting out around Swagg. The pitch and volume of the music begins to fluctuate seemingly sporadically, throwing the rhythm off completely, but this seems to be intentional on Swagg's part.

"According to science, there exists a frequency of vibrations which will cause you to explode like a watermelon. You're already helpless, so I might as well see how fast I can find that frequency." Swagg states simply, and Gibble loudly curses in response, but Swagg quite literally cannot hear him. The sound waves begin to pulse and throb through Gibble's body, and he realizes that he needs to find a way to mute Swagg's music before it is too late. Gibble grunts in pain as he removes a hand from one of his ears, and attempts to pry one of Swagg's headphones off with brute force. However, the headphones seem to be part of Swagg's body, and as such do not budge very easily. Swagg catches on to Gibble's plan rather easily, and simply headbangs to the music until Gibble is flung across the battlefield. Gibble's thoughts race as Swagg continues fiddling with the properties of the music. He's desperately in need of a plan of action, but he's also overwhelmed by fury at the moment and can't think straight. Suddenly, Gibble notices that the audience doesn't seem all that bothered by the noise, and realizes there must be some kind of invisible barrier between the Grand Arena and the audience filtering the sound to make it tolerable, likely put into place specifically for this fight. Gibble stumbles his way towards the edges of the battlefield while Swagg continues making minor adjustments to his music. Gibble's body continues to pulse uncomfortably with the beat, but he manages to press himself up against the wall, close enough to the barrier that the sound is somewhat dulled, enough so that Gibble can gather his thoughts and bearings. Gibble turns around, sneering at Swagg. He wants to call out to him, to taunt him to come closer, but he's already well aware that Swagg won't be able to hear him. Gibble becomes angered once more, thinking about how his Stand, Dance Magic Dance, is rendered completely useless by this scenario. Though, he also considers that this may give him a strategic advantage down the line, since the other competitors won't be anticipating his true abilities. Before that, though, he needs to find a way to defeat Swagg. Gibble thinks over his possible options for attacking Swagg. His red eyes light up, and he suddenly walks back towards Swagg, putting his hands over his ears once more. Swagg doesn't pay him any mind, and just continues adjusting the music. Gibble feels his body beginning to vibrate more and more in tune with the deadly rhythm, a clear sign that Swagg is getting closer to achieving his goal. Gibble stumbles over to the alien, and begins waving his arms around in the air and making all sorts of inane hoots and hollers, interfering with the vibrations and frequency of Swagg's music. Sure enough, just as Gibble had hoped, the very specific death frequency is completely deterred by these minor interferences, and Swagg snaps to attention, angrily narrowing his eye, and turning down the music so that he can be heard.

"Why, you little-"

The moment Swagg turns the music down to a tolerable level, Gibble punches him right in the eye, and then grabs hold of both of his headphones at the same time, before yanking sharply in opposite directions, tearing the headphones from Swagg's body. Swagg stumbles backwards, dazed and, ironically, deafened by the attack. Gibble wastes no time in beating the alien into a pulp with his bare hands, letting out all his built up goblin rage that had accumulated throughout the battle. Once the deed is done, Gibble spits on Swagg's corpse, just in time to be transported to the victors' area. He exchanges a glare with Sprinkleman, before dusting himself off and taking some time to calm down in preparation for the start of the next bracket.
