"No, it can't be!" Jared protested, standing up. "That's impossible! You're evil! You're a Twilightian!"

"Not all Twilightians are evil, Jared... Most of my people... live in fear and worry that they'll never see the sun. Generations have gone by without being on the surface. I wanna help them but my Grandfather's way of doing it is all wrong. My Father... our Father and I want to help you."

"This... is crazy..." Jared heaved in and out trying to grasp the situation.

"Twilight Generals were warped by passion, fear and anger. They've stooped too low to save but the regular citizens could still be freed."

"But I..."

Alviss remained indifferent. "I didn't believe our connection at first. I had to do some digging and I found what I was looking for. I'll show you." Waving his hand, the boy cast a spell to show Jared what he had found.

~Alicia, Noah, Asher~

"I don't understand... how could this have happened?" Noah asked.

Melissa sighed again and began to elaborate.

"We were on a plane headed back to California when something attacked us. The aircraft fell out of the air and a few people were unlucky enough to fly out; we were five of them. But that's when it happened..."

~Alviss and Jared's Vision~

First, Alviss showed Jared the Dark Void. The skies were an eternal, depressing grey. The land was a lot like Earth but somehow... empty... The towns and cities were full of life, but these human looking people were withdrawn and fear was etched on their faces. It was as if they had lost their hope.

~FLASH~

A 9 year old Jared spiraled downward toward the very field the current Alviss and Jared were in. The young boy and his family tried to reach for each other as they descended to the ground. The plane had crashed a few ways away and other people were screaming for help.

Desperate, the young Jared reached for his unconscious brother and yelled, "Scott!" Scott himself did not look so good, he was gashing and black gaseous material came out of his eyes.

At that moment, Jared's eyes turned a brilliant gold with a shade of amber. The special symbol appeared under him and began to glow bright, sharing the same golden color as Jared's eyes. The Triquetras on the triplets began to glow as well. Using his active power, Jared used the silver ribbon-like material that came from the symbol and reconstructed them into a silver net that caught the family.

"Scott!" Matthew frantically yelled as he rocked his son in his hand.

"The Twilight." Melissa pointed out. "He's been infected with a Twilight Virus."

"Mommy, will he be ok?" Cody asked.

"Yes... he will, sweetie. Go get Jared, please?" As her son turned away, Melissa said, "He needs somewhere to heal."

"We don't have anywhere right now!" Matthew half yelled frantically.

As Jared approached, his eyes were still bright gold. Looking at him, the parents, both crying, nodded with mutual understanding.

"We have to." Melissa breathed heavily, "We can cast the ultimate protection on all of our children."

"I'll send the message out," Matthew replied, "I'll tell the others that the time is now. The prophecy has put a target on their backs."

The older Jared didn't understand; "What's happening? I don't remember this."

Alviss answered, "Because Mom wiped it from our memories."

Melissa and Matthew used their magic to create a spell circle and placed Cody, Jared and Scott in the center.

"Mommy, what's going on?" Jared asked as he was instructed to take his brothers' hands.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine, Bud." Matthew assured. "Just close your eyes."

When their son did, Matthew and Melissa held hands and chanted a spell.

"I take your hands

in mine

And with this string

I will entwine

Your powers

I'll forever bind

From now until

the end of time."

With that, the circle began to glow as energy flowed through their bodies, binding their magical powers. Then, as Matthew used his powers to whisk Cody next to them, he walked up to his sons in the circle and chanted another spell in an unknown language. As he completed his incantation, he placed his hand on Scott's chest. Scott then began to melt into a magical energy ball. A more complex Twilight Symbol appeared on Jared's chest.

"Daddy... I don't get it." Jared informed with tears streaming down his still red eyes. "What's gonna happen to Scott?"

"Your brother is hurt, Jared... And he needs your help to heal him... So, I'm going to give him to you. Your heart will heal his pain." With that, Matthew placed Scott into Jared's heart where he'd be safe for years to come.

~End Vision~

Alviss said, "After wiping your memories of me, I lived inside your heart, resting and healing."

~Alicia, Asher and Noah~

Melissa concluded, "The sealing ritual was Twilight based... Matthew, part Twilight, part human, part Light-Watcher, kept his powers under the radar so the Dark Void couldn't find him. When he did the ritual, he was detected so he went back as Roxas to protect us. As we sealed our sons' powers, your parents connected with us to seal all of yours as well… and our memories along with it. With the exception of Jack, who was the Keeper, and Matthew, who was immune."

Alicia and Noah exchanged looks, not knowing what to make of the tale. Melissa continued.

"When Jared gave up his heart to save you all, he released the seal we placed on Scott and freed him as Alviss. Now, Alviss knows who he is and is talking to Jared now. He wants to help."

Suddenly, the pressure in the air began to thicken. It was as if everyone was being pressed on by water that wasn't there.

"Shadow Blade is awakening. You can feel him, can't you?" Melissa asked.

"What do we do to stop him?" Asher asked. "There has to be something."

"The best thing you can do right now is meet his forces for a battle. His influence is making figures of Hawaiian mythology come to life as you've fought the warriors in black already. When the time is right, the seven of you will rise against him."

~Liam, Sonia, Chris~

"You won't be able to defeat Shadow Blade as you are now." Kai informed casually. "You need a new weapon."

"A new weapon? What kind of weapon?" Chris asked.

"You three need to find the Slayer's Scythe, the weapon forged for the Slayer."

"Where is it?" Sonia asked a little impatiently.

"I can send you there, that's the easy part. The hard part would be getting it out of its resting place."

~ The Quest ~

Kai had used his Shamanic powers to teleport Liam, Sonia and Chris in front of a run down temple. It's stone walls were cracked and broken, the lush woods around it reclaimed it with vines and moss.

"Let's go..." Chris said.

As the three went through the dark labyrinth of the Temple, Alviss and Jared were quickly confronted by Shadowlites from Blade's army. Alicia, Noah and Asher answered a call in town as reports of strange attackers poured in.

"Get down!" Liam called out as fireballs flew overhead. He raised a barrier and blocked the traps that were set off all over a small corridor. "Chris, can't you orb?"

"I've been trying! It's blocking me!"

Sonia was determined to get the Scythe. "Just keep running!" Arrows to poison gas, giant rolling boulders to pit falls, the three barely escaped from each by the skin of their teeth.

The three were confronted by one final challenge; a massive stone door lay aloft. It was decorated with intricate markings and symbols, the translation lost over time.

"If that doesn't scream 'the end,' I don't know what does." Liam said panting.

"Only one way to find out." Chris replied, taking a few steps forward. The doors began to shine, and summoned grotesque creatures. They were humanoid in shape with claws, hard skin and razor sharp teeth. The trio could feel the bloodthirsty intent in the eyes of the monsters.

~ Asher, Noah, Alicia~

A local town was being terrorized by an army of Demons. Of course, the three tried their best to hold them off, but they knew they wouldn't last forever.

"We need to hold them off!" Noah called out blasting apart groups of Shadowlites.

"Until the others get here." Alicia answered using wind to tear the enemies apart.

~Alviss and Jared~

Alviss was cornered by a particularly tough Shadowlite. His dark blue fire couldn't pierce the armor of a ten foot tall titan. The creature swung its massive fist at the boy and sent him into a boulder. Before he could be finished off, Jared stepped in and let fire fly from his palms, searing the Demon into ashes.

"So you believe me now?" Alviss asked as he dusted himself off.

"I do... Scott..."

All of a sudden, the ground began to shake. A roaring sound came from afar. Over in the field where the final battle took place, the meditative statue exploded. A figure flew out of it at light speed and landed in a crater in front of Jared and Scott.

"Shadow Blade..." Scott whispered.

~Liam, Chris, Sonia~

The battle ended with Chris using his armored arm to finish off the last creature. The doors opened with loud scraping sounds and revealed a stone perch. Resting on top of the perch was a pure black stone the size of an average pillow. Lodged inside by the blade was the Slayer's Scythe. The Scythe blade itself had a red stripe on the silver axe-curved blade. The handle was a two feet long silver pole with a red grip. The top of the pole, the part connected to the axe-like blade, was enforced and thick to act as a club. On the opposite end of the pole was a sleek silver steak carved into it.

Chris, marveling at the beautiful weapon in front of him, reached up and grabbed the handle, only to be met with an electric shock. The boy was flung backwards and landed on his side, groaning in pain.

"Guess that'd be TOO easy." He commented as he got up.

Liam closed his eyes and felt the atmosphere around him. "We have to find another way to fight Shadow Blade. There's no time left!"

~Scott and Jared~

Shadow Blade laughed in joy as he flung to two boys around him. Despite being locked up for nearly eight years, Shadow Blade had not lost his fighting edge.

"Legend Sword!" Jared cried as he swung forward with his weapon. He clashed blades with the General for a while. This opened up a chance for Scott, so he dashed around and let loose his sapphire blue flames from his hands. Unfortunately, the Twilight Leader saw this coming and blocked it with his hands.

"Nice try." He commented before sending both boys flying once more.

"Just give up."

"No!" Jared yelled, causing his red spirit stone to glow in his pocket.

~Alicia, Noah, Asher~

"Give in." Taunted a Shadowlite as it blasted the trio with lightning.

"Not a chance..." Asher grunted.

"We're not..." Noah threatened.

"Giving up!" Alicia yelled as the pink, blue and silver stones began to glow.

~Liam, Chris, Sonia~

"I'm not giving up..." Sonia panted. Dirt and sweat dotted her clothing from the numerous attempts to grab the Scythe. It seemed with each passing attempt, the Scythe would emit a larger and larger reflective shield. "We have to get this to Jared... I'm not gonna let this thing win. Shadow Blade won't conquer this world." With full conviction in her heart, Sonia took one last try. At this point, the shield expanded out real wide, taking up about half the room. However, when it collided with Sonia, she did not falter. The girl kept trudging through the barrier, trying to resist the opposing force.

"Keep going!" Liam and Chris encouraged each other as they too fought the ever expanding barrier.

Their three stones glowed as well...

"I won't... give... up!" She yelled at the weapon as she grabbed it. Suddenly, she lost her vision. She found herself floating in an orange sky surrounded by gigantic clouds silently floating around. It didn't take long for her to realize that people were standing on those clouds; they were teenagers like her.

Somehow, she knew that they were Slayers; slayers who preceded Jared.

"You must see." They all informed Sonia in unison, their voices molding together in the strangest of ways. "A truth of Jared Gordon's life."

With another flash of light, Sonia flinched. Opening her eyes, she found herself standing in Jared's family manor. The sunlight filtered through the parlor windows and onto the cool marble floor. She moved forward, but found that it felt different to walk. Looking down, her eyes widened. A big bump, like a beach ball, was under her yellow shirt. Staring at the hallway mirror, Sonia realized that not only had she grown older, but she was pregnant as well!

Not knowing what was going on, she tried to find her friends. Walking into the kitchen, she found an older Alicia working at the stove. Alicia turned and worriedly said, "Sonia, you shouldn't be up right now. You have to rest!"

"But I don't-" Sonia tried to explain herself, but Alicia cut her off with, "No buts. Noah asked me to take care of you and that's what I'm doing."

After that, two little boys and a little girl came running into the kitchen followed by their father. The taller boy, he appeared to be around eight years old, ran up to Alicia and hugged her. He had dark hair and fair skin that matched Alicia perfectly. The younger boy, six, had shorter lighter hair and tanner skin. He was a bit slower than his brother and he too grabbed Alicia around her hips. The youngest one, about five, was the last to hug her Mom. She had the lightest brown hair with fair skin.

"Hi, Mommy!" Greeted the older boy.

"Oh..." Alicia grunted with a smile, "Kids, not too tight! Sit at the table with your brother." Sitting at the dining room table was a four year old boy waiting a bit too impatiently for his older siblings.

One of them looks familiar... Sonia thought to herself. That's when it clicked to her, a realization that hit her like a ton of bricks.

The last person to come into the kitchen was a slightly older Jared. He wore a black shirt under a red button down with black pants and black shoes.

"Hey, Sweetie. Hey, Sonia."

"Hi, Jared." Sonia said automatically.

"How's your son?" Jared asked as he motioned to the pregnancy bump.

"Jack? Oh, he's doing fine." Another automatic response. It was like Sonia had no control over what she was saying!

"Hey, Honey." Alicia greeted as she pecked Jared's cheek. "How was work?"

Jared sighed and laughed. "Another student thought it'd be funny to turn Mr. Pippen's turban into a snake."

"Sounds rough."

"It's fine, really. How about you?"

"The restaurant is finally seeing some business without me thanks to Jules, and Adam drew me a picture." Alicia smiled and pointed to the fridge. The four year old, Adam, had drawn a picture of himself surrounded by six orange, scribbly spheres.

"Looks great! Where is the little bugger?" He asked in his "Daddy" voice as he half jogged into the dining room to greet his youngest son. Sonia stood there, smiling at this bright future. The warmth, the safety and love almost overwhelmed her like a tsunami rushing into a boat. She was glad the Slayers of the past showed her this vision of Jared's life, as well as giving her a glimpse of her own. Also, she found what she had to know from the vision...

~FLASH~

Sonia lay flat on her back in the temple. She had passed out after pulling the Scythe from the stone. Chris and Liam helped her up as her head began to pound with the adrenaline coursing through her veins.

"You ok?" Liam asked his friend in worry.

With no time to lose, Sonia darted up to a seated position. "I'm fine, but we need to get this to Jared now!"

~Jared and Scott~

"Together, Jared!" Scott shouted. "I'll use my active witch power this time!"

"Right!" Jared called back as he revved up his Legacy booster.

Scott had a particular and rare ability. Using his mind, he could project things into reality; the more powerful or large something is, the more energy it takes- kind of similar to Alicia's personal magic.

Together with Jared's multicolored energy bursts, Scott projected golden light waves from his hands. The attacks swirled together in a shining, shimmering blast, colliding with Shadow Blade's sword. It seemed to be working, as it pushed the general back a bit, but in a quick swipe, the fiend destroyed the assault. He then swung his blade again with a lot of force, sending Jared and Scott spiraling away once more.

"I grow tired of this bout." Shadow Blade informed. "You two are nothing compared to your parents. Now, I will lay waste to this island. Then, the world." With that, he disappeared from view.

"We have to stop him!" Jared proclaimed as he got up to his right knee.

"Slow down. We'll do it together." Scott informed as he massaged his left arm.

Jared's morpher went off and Sonia's voice came through. It was time for the final strike.

~Noah, Alicia, Asher~

The trio had been fighting for quite some time. Between numerous malevolent Hawaiian legends and special Shadowlites, the three were wearing down. The situation was not made any better when Shadow Blade himself arrived and forced the three to demorph.

Lying on the ground in pain, the three couldn't hold a candle to the Ancient Warrior.

Before he could finish the three off, Sapphire flames pushed him back while white and purple orbs whisked the three away. Scott came in from above and drew all the Hawaiian Legends away from the street. His plan was that he'd hold them off.

"This ends here, Shadow Blade." Jared called out wielding the Scythe.

"You again... Come to die this time?"

"We lost the last round..." Noah trailed off cracking his knuckles.

Alicia continued, "But it won't end like last time."

"We're saving this world." Liam stated crossing his arms.

"And you won't stop us." Sonia informed him.

"You're going down here." Asher threatened.

"This time, for good." Chris finished.

"You guys ready?" Jared asked.

"Ready!" The others called back.

"Spirit Legend, Awaken!"

~ Seven Transformation Circles appeared in the sky above them, dispelling sections of the dark clouds overhead. The circles let down large beams of light through them, each colored the respective Ranger color, and showered each Ranger.

In a symphony of sounds and swirls, the Teens had transformed~

"Attack!" Shadow Blade ordered, causing his army of hundreds of Shadowlites surge forward.

Jared sliced through multiple minions with the Slayer Scythe. Something about it made his fighting style feel complete. He felt as if it was MEANT for him. "Spirit of Fire!" He kicked one in the leg, tripping it, jumped in the air to kick another, then destroyed numerous enemies with a single slash. He made his left palm glow a bright orange and he spun in a fast circle, letting bullets of fire wreck the surrounding squads.

As more exploded behind him, he finished, "Red Legend Ranger!"

Noah ran up the wall of a tall building and back flipped off of it. He pointed his hands downward and bombarded the enemies below with high speed blasts of water. "Spirit of Water!" He landed and rapidly punched numerous Shadowlites. He jumped and became a water vortex, grinding against the attackers. As he came out of the spin he said, "Blue Legend Ranger!"

Alicia flew through the air sending down magical waves and wind bursts. "Spirit of Wind!" She dove toward the ground and swept numerous Shadowlites up with her sword. She then air kicked another Shadowlite into a wall. She spun around two attacks, jumped into the air and let many arrows rain down on her targets. "Pink Legend Ranger!"

Liam moved underground like an Earth Ninja, sending up boulders as he went along. He burst from the ground and exclaimed, "Spirit of Earth!" He crashed down with a heavy fist and sent a shockwave of green energy all around him. He summoned his axe and spun on his heels mowing through more and more. "Green Legend Ranger!"

Sonia continuously flipped through the crowd, avoiding many attacks. She spun in the air and let lightning loose from her body. "Spirit of Lightning!" She then went back into a handstand and spun on her hands. She spun so fast, she created a lightning tornado that sucked up a myriad of attackers. She came out of the spin and blasted through another squad with her Legend Staff.

"Yellow Legend Ranger."

Asher ran along a wall, piercing the Shadowlites with his beams of light. He side flipped off of the wall and rolled under a fire attack. He summoned his blade and made it charge.

"Spirit of Light..." He dashed through the crowd as fast as the Flash and struck each Shadowlite with his blade. "Silver Legend Ranger."

Chris wielded both his Fan and Zwei-Sword. He whipped the enemies into the air with darkness and sliced them all up with his buster sword. "Spirit of Darkness!" He then dispersed into a black shimmering smoke and reappeared in the air. He dropped to the ground and struck it with the blade, causing a darkness to flow everywhere like a mad river. "Black Legend Ranger!"

The seven were down to the last Shadowlites as they chanted, "Ancient Spirits Unite! Power Rangers: Next Legend, Start Up!" With that, they struck the last foot soldiers, causing them to explode.

"You're next!" Liam told Shadow Blade.

"Oh really? I'll make this quick." With that, the eight entered battle.

Jared swung down with his Scythe and struck Shadow Blade's arm. However, the blade was powerful enough to break his armor. Noah rolled under with his Kwan Dao and jabbed up. As heavy as his armor was, Shadow Blade was quite nimble. He back flipped away from Noah's attack and sent a force wave to knock the two over.

Alicia and Chris used their weapons to fire at a long distance, but that didn't do the trick either. The general was able to block each projectile and send them back with more force. Sonia and Asher dashed in and clashed with their weapons, but Shadow Blade swatted them down.

"I'm having fun!" He taunted as he threw Sonia and Asher to their friends. He sent a slash wave, but Liam blocked it with his barrier. The seven dashed forward again, this time using their Legacy Boosters, but they were blasted back each time.

"Give up!" Shadow Blade said raising his blade to the sky. "I told the Slayer once, but I'll tell you all. You won't beat me; you aren't as powerful as your parents!"

"That's where you're wrong!" Chris said with passion.

"We're more connected!" Noah informed getting to his feet.

"More power and energy!" Alicia continued.

"This bond we share..." Sonia trailed off. Liam picked it up, "Transcends time and space!"

"Like we told you before, we're not gonna let you win." Asher stated.

"This is where you fall... Forever!" Jared finished.

As he said this, the seven crystals glowed even brighter and appeared in mid air. The Rangers grabbed the small orbs.

"What are those?" Shadow Blade asked in irritation. He tried to attack the Rangers, but the stones blocked the energy with their own.

Instinctively, Jared raised the Slayer Scythe up. Multiple colored lights shot out from the weapon and connected with the orbs. Then, the orbs broke into tinier lights and surrounded each of the Legacy Boosters. The crystals reconstituted themselves into the Legacy Boosters. Now, the crystal were embedded right next to the touch/dial pad, on the small space resting over the wrist.

"Can you feel it?" Jared asked in disbelief. This surge of energy made the Scythe seem like nothing. They all felt each other's powers, strengths, minds, hopes and hearts.

"Let's use this power." Noah answered.

"Together!" The seven stated.

"Master Legend, Start Up!" They commanded. The crystals within the Booster glowed as bright as they could as the Ranger's forms changed. The only difference made after the spiraling lights was the color scheme of each Ranger. The suits were now mostly white with highlights of each Ranger's color on the visor, neck, elbows and boots.

"Master Legend Mode!" The Seven announced.

"How could this be?! This power I'm feeling... it's..." Shadow Blade was lost for words. In anger, he ran forward with all his strength.

A few streets away, Scott smiled at the beams of light shot into the air from each Ranger.

Back on the battlefield, Jared easily stopped the General's swinging blade with one hand. He broke it with his Scythe and flipped Shadow Blade onto his back. Alicia then made her hands glow with a bright pink aura. The girl, with no trouble at all, lifted the fiend with her telekinesis and threw the General a length equal to a football field down the road.

Confident, Noah surrounded himself with a bright blue aura and super sped down the distance. He was faster than before, to an outside observer, it appeared as if he teleported to the Twilightian. He used his powerful legs to slam the General back towards the Rangers.

Liam raised his left fist and made his barrier powers spread around the fists and take its shape. With a nod of his head, he expanded the barrier into a giant green first and hammered the General into the ground.

"No... I can't be defeated!" He coughed as he floated into the air.

"Sure you can." Came a voice. Behind him, Sonia clapped her hands and a wave of thunder knocked the General back toward the Earth where Asher was waiting. The boy threw his hands forward and searing bright light beams struck him. The heat was just as intense as a volcano and burned into Shadow Blade's armor. As he hit the ground, he struggled to his feet. Chris jumped into the air and came down with diamond armor fists that grew sharp spikes on the knuckles. He bashed the enemy's melted points with swift boxer jabs. With a swift uppercut, he sent the General onto his back.

"All together..." Jared instructed. The Rangers used their Power from Within, now 10x stronger, and formed individual spheres.

"Final Strike!" The seven sent their attacks forward and it combined into a bigger sphere of rainbow colors. The attack struck the General head on and destroyed him.

In an instant, the General grew to monstrous size.

"It's been a while." Asher commented as he called his zord.

"Legend Ultimate Megazord, Advent!"

Their strongest Zord stood strong against the fully healed general. The two titans clashed swords in an intense fight on land. Within moments, the two were flying in the air clashing back and forth. Legend Ultimate was kicked in the chest and sent toward the ground, but the Rangers managed to pull it back up.

"Legend Burst!" The Zord sent wave after wave of energy, but the attacks missed as Shadow Blade struck repeatedly.

"We can't keep up!" Liam informed, his radar screen couldn't keep track of the Twilight.

As Scott looked on, he tried to reach his Father with telepathy. "Dad, they need our help."

"And we'll give it to them." Matthew replied as he contacted his wife for the first time in years.

Legend Ultimate finally had enough and beaten up, it fell into the ocean and began to sink.

"We can't lose here!" Chris told his friends.

"We won't!" Jared replied.

"Jared..." Came Scott's voice.

"Scott?" Jared asked. "What is it?"

"A little something from the family." He answered. The Slayer could feel the warmth in his brother's voice.

Jared's Morpher started to beep and as he turned the dial, a new selection for the Zords appeared. On the touch screen, it read, "Final Mode."

"Legend Ultimate, Final Mode!" Jared called out as he hit the button. Legend Ultimate burst from the water and, like the Rangers, turned white like a paladin of light.

"Legend Ultimate: Paladin Mode, Ready!" The Rangers chanted.

"We finish this in one strike!" Jared instructed. "Pour all your power into this!"

"Right!"

"You won't stop me!" Shadow Blade called out as he fired more and more volleys of blasts.

"Now!" Jared called.

Legend Ultimate dove from the air, picking up speed. Its sword turned into a staff with a golden knight sword blade on the end. It caught golden fire and blazed with life.

"Final Legend Finish!" The Rangers commanded as the glowing Sword-Staff broke through Shadow Blade's Sword and pierced his chest.

"I... have... lost..." With that Shadow Blade exploded into darkness...

~Afterwards~

"Are you sure?" Jared asked his brother.

"I have to." Scott replied. Cepheus, no one really, knew Scott had slipped away to speak to Jared and his friends.

"We'll meet again." Jared nodded with a smile. Scott held out his hand, but Jared didn't take it. Instead, he gave his long lost brother a hug. Looking over, Jared jerked his head at Cody, telling him to join. The triplets were finally together after years of separation. Melissa approached Scott and kissed his forehead.

"Bring your father with you next time... also, stay for a while."

"I'll do that, Mom..." Scott smiled, trying to fight back tears.

Giving farewells to the Rangers with a promise of meeting again, he disappeared back to the Dark Void.

Later that night at the hotel, the Rangers rejoiced in celebration. The other classmates were there as well and they too were having a good time. They laughed and danced along the beach, some were around a bonfire and others were having a torchlit volleyball game.

That was when Sonia decided to bring up an important piece of information.

"Asher..." She whispered as she led the boy away.

"What's up?" He asked.

"When I picked up the Slayer Scythe, the past Slayers showed me a vision..."

"Ok...?" Asher asked, getting worried. His gut told him his secret was out. "And...?"

"Asher..." Sonia didn't know how to say it. She couldn't bring it up and the words were caught in her throat like a huge piece of food. Taking a deep breath, she asked,

"Asher... are you Jared and Alicia's son?"

Turning away, Asher stared into the starry sky and sighed. Turning back, Sonia met his eyes; really met his eyes. For once, his gaze wasn't one of worry and secrecy. This gaze was honest and open.

With a simple breath, he answered, "Yes."

A/N: THE BIG REVEAL! A few of you called it, and I commend you for it! Yes, Asher is Jared and Alicia's second child and second son.
