Jared, covered in water and blood, dragged himself through the front door to his family manor. His body surging with pain, he collapsed to the floor... With his powers gone, he had no way of protecting the world... Even so, he didn't want to give up.

~Dark Void~

Standing in a shadowy lab, Slade stood in front of a giant tube filled with red liquid. With a sense of satisfaction, Slade paced around the numerous containers of chemicals and flashing machinery. Circling back to the red tube of liquid, he grinned.

"Soon... all this power will be mine..." At the corner of the room was a plexiglass window that led to a large prison cell. He walked over to the filled room and spoke as if the prisoners could hear him.

"... and you will witness my rise to power." Inside the prison cell was Alicia and everyone hit by the purple sphere.

~Cue Theme~

Jared finally managed to get to HQ with the little strength he had.

"I have to do something..." He weakly stated, his right arm still shocked with immense pain. An idea got to him and he limped to the Destiny Book.

~Dark Void~

"We have to get out of here." Noah grunted as he sent blue explosions from his hands. However, each blast collided with an invisible barrier.

"See that energy source? Jared's powers are right there." Mrs. Gordon pointed.

Asher, eyes widening, said, "I don't want him to get it back."

This caused every other prisoner to stare at him.

"Why not?" Mr. Gordon pressed.

Sighing, Asher informed those who didn't know who he really was. He concluded, "Look... in the future... Jared becomes this all powerful hero. He was always there for half the world and never there for me... I know it's selfish and I'm being a kid... but I..."

Alicia cut him off by pulling him into a tight hug. "It won't be like that. I promise."

"There's still Rachel and the others, right?" Sonia asked. "They can help us get out of here."

"I sent them a distress call before we were attacked." Dr. Bly informed them. "Infiltrating the Dark Void isn't an easy task, but since we're here, they should be able to find us."

As if on cue, the ground began to shake with a large battle.

"Right on time." Liam said. "We have to get back to Jared."

~Jared~

Within the hour, Jared was able to finish a complex potion. "This is my only chance." He whispered before taking in the bright pink liquid. A warm feeling washed over him as he lost consciousness.

"So you're finally here." Came a deep and stern voice. Inside the familiar white space he'd meet the Spirits, Jared was greeted by a tall man with piercing green eyes, dark skin and dark hair. He wore a magnificent crown on his head with a black cloak.

"Who're you?"

"I am Pittacus, a previous King of the Mystic Realm. I'm here to tell you the true history of what had happened."

"I don't understand. That potion I took was supposed to reawaken whatever magic I had left."

Scratching his short beard, Pittacus answered, "Magic will always find a way. You were brought to my spirit for a reason... Now..." The King waved his left hand and changed the space into images of the Mystic Realm. "... you will learn the history."

~Dark Void~

Rachel and her team managed to break the prisoners out of their cell and make a break for it. The Rangers got their Morphers back, but were unable to morph, and were fighting off guards and dark creatures.

"They're not getting this back..." Tobias whispered as he ran between Alicia and Lydia. In his right hand was a cylindrical syringe of red liquid; it was a vial carrying all of Jared's powers.

In the Throne Room, Cepheus was restless as heard the prisoners escaped them. "They will be captured and all will pay for sending us down here."

"Sir?" Phoenix asked hesitantly.

Cepheus took a charm out of his cloak. It was half a yin-yang medallion, the white half, and it appeared to be worn and fragile.

"They betrayed us... He betrayed me..."

~Jared and Pittacus~

"... the inhabitants of the Mystic Realm lived together in harmony, creating balance. The Twilightians were simply a group of Humans who used a very different form of magic. The leader of the Twilight King Cyan, one of your ancestors, was a peace loving man."

The space changed and reformed as a scene of Pittacus and Cyan as young men. They were training their magic together, laughing and enjoying each other's company. They bellowed with laughter as Pittacus used a bright yellow light to launch pastries at meditating teachers.

In another vision, older versions of Pittacus and Cyan sparred in a heated battle. Cyan sent wave after wave of attacks that Pittacus easily weaved through. Grinning from ear to ear, Pittacus's right hand glowed the arrow shaped symbol, the one like Jared. With his eyes glowing a bright gold, Pittacus manipulated the silver ribbon material to form a sword.

"Being childhood friends, he and I sought to bring complete unity to the world. However, someone sought differently. Someone persuaded Cyan to turn away from us and start the war. Cyan refused until Wiseron told everyone about his misguided observation of his two friends. From there, the Twilight attacked the Mystic Realm and provoked the Twelve Warriors to rise up and fight."

The scene exploded into a full out war. Energies, lasers and all kinds of lights flew in all directions, bodies strewn the battlefields and landscapes were being torn apart.

High in the sky, a circle of glowing figures appeared; the Twelve Legendary Warriors had appeared to fight.

"They gallantly fought to end the war and succeeded. It was believed the Twilight would seek revenge, so they cast a spell making Earth a magnet for Supernatural evil... That isn't the truth at all... It is something far more dark... ancient... and sinister. It is an evil you will come to face in the future... Cyan, however, would pass down the story through his followers... as would I with my descendants..."

Pittacus withdrew the other half of the yin yang symbol from his cloak and handed it to Jared. "You can use this to convince them."

"Okay..." Jared replied skeptically. "How could this help?"

"Cyan, unlike me, is still alive and well. After falling into the Dark Void he took on the name 'Cepheus,' the very enemy you have been fighting for two years."

"But what does this have to do with me getting my powers back?"

"From then on, the Twelve Warriors found and re-established a portal to 'The Realm that Will Always Be,' a realm that exists as a universal energy field. To you, it is known as the 'Morphing Grid.' It is my belief that whoever started the war wanted to harness this power for himself... Now you, Jared, must see one more key."

"What key?"

"The key that holds the answers to your own life..."

In an instant, Jared's view was obscured by the rapid spinning of planet Earth. Visions of seeing himself growing up with his complete family flashed before him but was completely overwritten by living in LA. Seeing himself being approached by Daniel his first Light-Watcher was a small piece of this series.

Next thing he saw was himself walking onto the Bayview High Quad on his first day. What he didn't notice however, was Alicia sitting across the area looking at him. Her expression was one of uncertainty and jittery nerves. Taking a deep breath she briskly and nervously approached the younger Jared with her camera.

Meeting the rest of his friends and reliving all his memories as a Warrior danced across a time frame of a minute, reflowing into him like a recharging battery.

The memories stopped at the point in which Alicia faded away, then everything flipped into the future. For the first time, Jared saw his own future; he was happy with Alicia and the rest of his friends. In this specific memory, they were all sitting at the usual beach strip they would go to while their kids, ranging from ages 10-15 were playing together. After a while, the older Jared decided to ref a volleyball game between the older kids, Noah was moving the waves with his powers so his oldest son could catch a surf wave much to Sonia's dismay. Liam was building sandcastles with the younger kids, his own daughter and son included, while Jules was at the grill making food with Chris and his spouse.

What looked like Jared's second son, wearing a grey beach shirt and black swim trunks, ran up to him and hugged him.

"Happy Birthday, Asher." Older Jared whispered hugging his son back. Eyes widening in realization, Jared was immediately pulled away from the future and back to the present. He saw his friends and family talking as they snuck their way through the Dark Void.

"We can't let Jared use this ampule of power." Melissa explained as the group rested.

"Why?" Alicia asked.

"If he uses it on himself, the surge of power would kill him."

"He's safe." Noah stated confidently.

Claire said, "Everyone stay back. Follow my lead; I'm getting you all out of here." Jared saw something dark and large moving at the corner of his eye. "Claire!" He yelled although no one could hear him.

A giant creature that was as big as a teacher's desk looking like a lion/bulldog barreled into Claire.

One last glimpse of truth flashed over his eyes and he knew about the Dark Future and why Asher wanted to stop it. Furthermore, he realized what would make his first born son Jonah so evil...

Jared woke up in a dark alley, overcast by a grey sky.

"This is the Dark Void." He knew immediately getting up. By then, his right arm was numb and just hung their limply.

"Scott was right." The boy whispered as he passed by the humans of the Dark Void. There was no hope for a clear sky. Everyone was an empty shell and Jared's desire was to help them all get out of there. Like a shadow, Jared moved through the crowds of people trying so desperately hard to live normal lives in a place that made such a task impossible.

"Now where do I go?" He asked himself. As if fate had answered his question, an explosion in the distance, where the Royal Palace was, sounded.

~Palace~

"Get down!" Noah shouted as he blasted more monstrous animals with his powers. Sonia and Alicia managed to kill off a few with a mixture of telekinesis and sound while Liam protected everyone else with multiple floating barrier walls. The Parents of the Rangers, those who had powers, tried to protect their children but they were too weak. The Rangers then told them to look after the siblings.

"Above!" Noah called out as he supported Claire. Liam threw his hands above commanding the floating walls to block the bombarding energies. He succeeded, but the force knocked him onto his back.

"Liam!" Seth called out to his younger brother. "You ok?"

"I'm fine..."

Seth sighed and said, "Bro, I can't believe you're a freaking superhero. Never would've thought. buddy."

Liam laughed but sensed an attack coming at Seth. He raised a barrier and redirected it away.

"It's over." Slade called out. He had managed to corner the prisoners in the Dark Throne Room of Cepheus.

"Now they come." Cepheus states standing up. "Welcome."

"Father, this is madness. We cannot attack Earth anymore!" Matthew protested.

"Silence. We were betrayed by our brethren all those years ago. The war sent us to this cold dark place and we will have our revenge!"

Tobias gripped the ampule with conviction. "Mrs. Gordon... I want to use this on myself."

Again, the full group stared at him.

"Are you nuts?!" Chris asked with worry.

Lydia grabbed Tobias's arm and said, "Tobias, you could die."

"I know... But Jared gave me..." Tobias trailed off, his voice shaking. He righted himself and stated, "Jared gave me the strength to stand up and fight. Now it's my turn to do it by myself."

"Give it to me." Mrs. Gordon instructed.

When Tobias did, she clicked a switch to extend the injection needle. Before she pressed it onto Tobias, a thin energy beam knocked it out her hand sending it into the air and across the room.

"Looks like your last chance has been wasted." Slade sneered. "Without the Red Ranger Power, your powers are limited as a whole. Morphing down here is impossible."

"That's what you think!" Tobias shouted as he sprinted for the ampule.

"Not on your life!" Slade sent more energy blasts at the boy, but he skillfully evaded them. The Rangers ran forward to fight off the numerous Shadowlites.

Tobias dove for the ampule, but the ground collapsed into the large ballroom below. Tobias was saved from falling by Asher and Chris's orbs.

Everyone in the room watched the Ampule fall away and spin. It hit someone's foot and this person picked it up; Jared Gordon studied the ampule with curious calm eyes that held a sense of knowing.

"Jared!" Alicia yelled.

"No, don't!" Noah added.

"Give that back!" Tobias pleaded. "Don't you understand what that is?!"

Nodding, Jared solemnly answered, "Of course I know. It all started with this. All this power... is my burden to bear."

"No it's not!" Mrs. Gordon called out, "There won't be a second time, Jared! All that power could kill you!"

Matthew added, "Listen to her, son!"

Scott gripped the bars, agony in his voice. "You've come too far to throw your life away!"

"Put it down!" Cody begged.

"I know... Thank you, everyone. You've all helped me change and become the person I am now... But you see... this is my destiny... I've got to do this..." Jared clicked the button and extended the ampule outward.

"JARED!" Alicia bellowed.

"NO!" Liam and Sonia shouted in anxiety, both reaching their hands out.

With full confidence, Jared injected the needle into his heart. As soon as he did this, he dropped the ampule, the point of penetration glowing with shapeless energy. As the rush coursed through him, the boy grunted and groaned in pain.

With a sudden release in all directions, Jared howled like mad as red energy flowed from his body and shot upward, blasting the ceiling apart and departing the dark clouds in the sky. He felt like his body was on fire. Under his feet was his usual bright red circular symbol.

In moments, Jared barely managed to keep his powers under wraps. "I've been running away all this time..." He told himself as the Triquetra appeared on his left hand. "But now..."

Full of conviction, Jared concluded, "I'll show them who I really am!"

Everyone around him gasped as Jared used his left hand to reach inside his Soul Gate. In seconds, Jared pulled out, colorful string material flowing from his fingertips. The strings came alive on their own accord and wrapped around Jared's ripped up right arm. The colorful strings molded together around Jared's arm to form a red crystal arm. All along it were thin silver lines like circuit boards on a computer chip.

"His right arm!" Alicia pointed out.

Jared raised his new arm into the air and let the thin golden streaks glow brightly.

Mrs. Gordon fell to her knees, crying. "Jared..."

Slade lost his composure then and there and shouted, "Impossible!"

Alicia's gaze never lost Jared for a second, her eyes swimming with tears. Jared made contact with her and sincerely spoke, "I'm sorry." Before making his True Soul glow brighter.

Inside Jared's head, he thought of Jade Park and how he helped her one year previously. In that instant, Jade's True Soul, Paraplegic's Legs, appeared around his legs.

This time, the armored legs were red with golden stripes.

"Don't hold back, my forces!" Slade commanded in pure anger. "Fire until you deplete your powers!"

With that, a reverse rainstorm of energy flew in the air at Jared who skillfully woven and spun his way between the gaps.

As he lifted higher and higher, Jared's thoughts casted his mind back to his old Best Friend Callum. From this thought, the newly re-empowered Slayer materialized the sphere. Like the Legs, the sphere was red with gold trimmings. Opening into a disc, it created a six petal flower shaped shield in front of him.

"HA!" Jared grunted sending all the attacks back down destroying a majority of the ground forces.

Landing next to his friends and family, Jared said, "Scott, Cody hold your hands out."

They did and Jared's eyes began to glow. Instead of turning red, the brown swirled into a beautiful shade of gold. A black aura leaked out of Cody's Triquetra. and dissipated into the air.

"What just happened?" Cody asked in awe. A rumbling drew their attention to a thirty foot Shadowlite who wielded a gigantic club.

"I'll explain later." Jared stated as he jumped back into the air.

"Noah!" Jared shouted holding his right hand out. The silver material flowed from his red armored fingertips and recreated Noah's True Soul, which was red and gold as well. Pulling the trigger, a burst of light froze the titan in place.

"Liam!" Now wielding Liam's True Soul, Jared sliced through the huge Shadowlite, destroying it.

Making a beeline straight for Slade, Jared charged up all his power and crashed into the Twilight General, sending him through a wall.

Cepheus, now standing up, was furious. "How dare you?!"

Snapping his fingers, the King summoned three giant beasts made of pure darkness. They were on all fours and had the bodies of lions. Their heads were like hammerhead sharks and their teeth were jagged and acidic. All three launched huge spheres of acid at the Slayer.

"That won't stop me from reaching the next level!" Jared called back as he raised both his hands in the air.

With his full potential reached and his walls of fire extinguished, Jared noticed a change in his hands.

On his left, the Triquetra was overlapping with his arrowhead symbol. The difference was that the arrowhead symbol was reversed with the tail pointing outward. On his right hand, the original arrow symbol was there, but it had a glowing red outline.

In his mind, Leander the Phantom spoke to him.

"You've come a long way, Slayer. Now is the time for us to combine all our powers. Use Kamen Rider Wizard's magic to tether them together."

"Right!" Jared thought back.

"Biomerge, Spirit Legend!" Jared morphed into his Master Legend mode while his right arm was still covered in his True Soul.

The Red Transformation Circle appeared under him as he and Hadan merged, sending the Acidic attacks away from him.

"Red Battlized Ranger!" Jared commanded.

Leander's lion head emerged from his body and became a chest plate. It planted itself and lights spread throughout Jared creating his new form.

When the millions of swirling lights faded away, Jared stood in an all red cloak-material with an armored lion's head on his chest. Starting from his wrists were golden lion claws while bright red wings protruded from his back. Golden lining replaced the silver on his helmet while his legs and boots became black and silver.

"Your power..." Pittacus's voice echoed in his head. "Is the same as mine. I have dubbed it the 'King's Heart,' the power that manifests the bonds between hearts as items. The arrow symbol along with the glowing eyes indicates the power's influence. Red is the first stage, the immaturity phase. An experience that causes a great change in the person makes the Red turn into Gold, the most powerful color. This allows you to use a new form of energy. While Power from Within is tied into Mana and Magic. You also have access to energy from the Heart and manipulate it as the silver ribbons, called Ripples, that are created as you use your power."

"Kill him!" Cepheus commanded his beasts. "We'll start with him, then we'll take our revenge."

"You don't understand!" Jared reasoned as he sliced through the first beats with his claws. "You were misled, Cyan!"

"What did you just call me?" Cepheus asked in shock.

Jared sent a slash wave of silver Ripples from his left claws and split the second beast in half.

"You were tricked!" Jared stated, as he destroyed the last beast.

Slade burst from nowhere and sailed straight for Jared. "Lies!" The two clashed in the air, neither one letting up. Jared felt energized with his new armor as he sent wave after wave towards the General. After a short while, Jared got the upper hand and managed to kick Slade through a few walls.

Flying right at the King, Jared let his form go and reverted to his base Ranger form.

Holding out his hand, the boy let King Pittacus's charm dangle from its chain.

"Where... did you get that?" Cepheus asked.

Jared explained what he had seen and heard from his out of body experience.

"You were tricked by someone, Cyan. You don't need to attack Earth anymore. We can fix all of this."

Seeing the charm and staring at his own, Cepheus nodded as Pittacus's voice rang in his head, explaining everything. Although he thought it was a trick at first, the sincerity in his old friend's voice convinced him otherwise.

"Pittacus... my old friend didn't betray me... betray us... It's time to call off the attack... We can work towards a better future. But, Jared... my grandson... who was it who spurred the wars? I cannot-" Suddenly, Cepheus made a choking sound and struggled for air. A short sword's blade stuck out from his chest and glowed a bright emerald green as if it were a wild animal.

"You've outlived your usefulness..." Came Slade's voice from behind.

"Sl-slade?" Cepheus coughed out.

"Yes... it was I who tricked you into starting that war. I just needed Wiseman to support it and you would be easy to sway. Now, it's my turn to take command of the Dark Void.

"No!" Jared shouted as he jumped over his Grandfather. However, Slade blasted the boy towards his friends and family.

"You will all die too!" Slade sent ripples of energy at the group, but the attacks were intercepted by snakes and crimson fire. Phoenix, Medusa and Wiseman stood in front of the Rangers and their families.

"We will not fight anymore." Wiseman stated bitterly.

"As Twilightians, it is our duty to choose what's best for all of us."

Phoenix added, "This gig was getting old anyway. Dove will return to normal when you're out of the picture, Slade."

The three of them combine their powers into one attack and forced Slade away from Cepheus. Jared charged forward and re-entered his battlizer form.

"Guys, give me your energy! We're sending Slade out of here!"

Without hesitation, the other Rangers raised their hands into the air and poured their Power from Within into Jared's True Soul. The boy made his Lion Claws disappear and reform into a bright golden Knight's Sword.

Again, he and Slade clashed within a masterful sword fight.

"You won't win!" Jared stated as he sent forth numerous rapid slices.

"My boy, I'm five steps ahead of you." Slade calmly replied as he returned his own attacks. Slade then kicked Jared away from him and sprinted at him at a high speed ready to pierce Jared's stomach.

"It's over!" Slade sent his blade forward in triumph. What happened next happened too fast; a swirl of lights blinded Slade and his blade pierced someone straight through the stomach... It wasn't Jared, though... It was...

Jared's eyes widened in fear and his brain snapped into overdrive. "ASHER!"

Asher had orbed in the way to protect his father from the assault. With the last of his strength, the boy telekinetically threw Slade across the room and fell backwards into Jared's arms.

Dematerializing his helmet, Jared stared at Asher.

"Dad..." Asher whispered only to take in a sharp breath.

Jared nodded. "It's ok, Asher... I know... I know..."

Letting out a small sigh of relief, Asher smiled. The boy, who was at the time biologically around the same age as Jared, seemed to shrink into a smaller boy on the inside. Alicia ran up to them and grabbed Asher's hands, holding them to her chest.

"Alicia... we need to take his pain away..." Jared gulped.

"Mom... Dad... it's ok..." Asher breathed. "It doesn't hurt..." Suddenly, starting from his feet, Asher started to disappear into thin air.

"I'm so sorry for not telling you!" Asher cried.

"No, it's ok, Son." Jared whispered. "We're so happy you came back in time to change your future... OUR future..."

"We love you..." Alicia whispered.

Jared continued, "And I'll be there for you, Asher. I'll be there for you. I'll give up all my powers to be your Dad..."

That did it for the young boy. Inside of him, a Dam broke and a flood of emotions filled him.

"I love you, Mom and Dad... I love you so much!"

"We'll see you soon..." Alicia whispered, kissing her son on the forehead.

"And we'll be together again." Jared said as Asher nodded.

"Promise?"

"Promise." Jared and Alicia smiled. Letting one last tear fall, Alicia wiped it away. As she did, Asher finally disappeared. The tear on her finger began to glow and it transformed into a silver ball the size of a baseball. The Spirit of Light split in half and entered Alicia's and Jared's Morphers.

Alicia herself broke down and fell into Jared's chest. "We'll see him again..." Jared whispered to her. "Right now, he's back in a brighter future..."

A struggling coughing noise attracted his attention. "Ruddy Light-Watcher..." Slade cursed as he shakily got to his feet.

"This isn't over yet..." Jared said, tucking his feelings away. "I need all your power." He told his friends. "We're ending this."

Without hesitation, Jared's friends and family poured their Power from Within into his golden sword.

"Final Strike!" He commanded as the shining blade erupted into rainbow fire. "HA!" Jared quickly sliced at Slade and sent him spiraling away and exploding into hundreds of tiny explosions...

"Father!" Matthew pleaded as he held Cepheus in his arms.

"I'm so sorry, Matthew..." The King whispered. "I should've listened to your voice of reason... It's too late for me now... I wish I could've seen your family more... been there more... This is your life... Scott's life is his... you choose how you spend the rest of it..." With that the King disappeared into dust; his soul ascending to join Pittacus, his old friend.

The Rangers took a moment of silence for the passing of Cepheus. Jared demorphed back to his human form and let his True Soul re-enter his body. Fortunately for him, his True Soul repaired his arm back to normal.

Suddenly, the castle began to fall apart. Slade's energy was making the area unstable.

"We have to get out of here!" Matthew called out.

"We're trapped!" Medusa informed. "Slade's power will build up and explode."

"There's a way." Jared informed as he placed his hands over his heart. Within him, Hadan the Spirit of Fire, spoke.

"Jared... I have watched from the background. Observing your growth and ever blazing bravery. To escape this trap, there is one thing that can be done."

At that moment, Hadan, in his armored form, appeared to everyone inside the Throne Room.

His armor was mostly red and black with gold trimmings. His mask covered his entire face except his eyes and mouth area, which revealed light skin. Three white horns protruded from his face mask and long yellow spiked hair grew from the back hiding his actual black hair.

"You have all mastered your powers." Came Arlyn, the Spirit of Water. His armor was mostly silver and purple. A long striped purple scarf was wrapped around his neck. His helmet, which looked like a wolf's head, covered the top half of his head stopping right on the nose bridge.

"We can help you escape." Skyla, the Spirit of Wind appeared before them. Her pink and purple armor covered her legs, arms and upper chest only. Her stomach was exposed and was revealed to be a light tan. Out of her back were two golden brown eagle wings and her helmet was made of sturdy blue feathers that covered her hair. Like Arlyn, she had a scarf around her neck but hers was black.

"But it will come at a cost." Gaius appeared behind Liam and floated to his comrades. His armored form was reminiscent of a beetle, as a beetle horn came out of his helmet. His armor was the bulkiest and was a dark blue with shades of brown and green.

"If we help you escape..." Came Haokah, Spirit of Lightning. He looked the most like a knight. His yellow armor was spiked and shining in all directions.

"You will lose access to us" Continued Celina, Spirit of Light. Her armor was mostly white with dark purple accents around the shoulders.

"But your Ranger Powers will not be lost." Roku explained. His armor was all black with golden accents around his boots and gauntlets. His chest plate had a dragon's head on it.

Noah asked, "What do you mean?"

Arlyn answered, "In the beginning, you used our powers to morph and control the elements."

"But..." Haokah continued, "the more you used your powers, the more they became your own."

Smiling, Skyla informed, "You do not need us to morph... or control the elements around you anymore."

"You've grown beyond us." Gaius added.

"This is your path now." Celina said. "We'll help you get back to your world and stop the collapse of the Dark Void to save the Twilightians."

"Quickly, everyone." Hadan instructed as the castle walls began to fall.

"Go!" The Ancient Warriors commanded as they opened a portal.

"This is no way to say goodbye!" Alicia called out as she and the others began to get sucked into the portal.

"We will meet again!" Hadan called after.

When the crisis was averted, Wiseman, Medusa and Phoenix ended up becoming new leaders of the Dark Void. Everyone who escaped made it back to Earth safe and sound.

Everyone was gathered in the Gordon Manor in the Sun Room.

"What did you do, Jared?" Scott asked referring to the mysterious dark smoke.

"When Pittacus showed me a glimpse of why Jonah became evil. Slade placed something inside Cody the night we lost our memories. Apparently this virus would grow and when passed to me, would infect my first born. Slade somehow knew Jonah would be a powerful force and sought to turn him evil. I was able to destroy it and change our future."

"So it's over?" Liam asked. "All we have to do is help the Twilight get out of the Dark Void?"

"It seems to be that way..." Noah trailed off.

"We should get some rest." Sonia sighed getting up. "We could all use some."

"Good idea." Chris said. "We need to stay alert."

As all the families departed, Alicia stayed behind. She found Jared looking out the Sunroom windows and held his hand.

"Where do we go from here?" She asked, resting her head on his shoulder.

"Who knows? But the future seems pretty bright... So, business as usual." He smiled. Looking off into the sunset over the trees of the Gordon House, Alicia and Jared stood for a while before turning to each other. Making eye contact, they felt a connection that seemed so right and so peaceful. Slowly, they leaned in for a soft and loving kiss.

~CHAPTER EPILOGUE ONE~

Asher felt himself fade away and blink out from the world. He felt himself being pulled apart and pieced back together. It was a never ending loop until a blaring sounded in his ears.

Eyes opening, Asher darted upwards and looked around. He found himself in his usual room in Jared's house, but something was different. For one thing, posters and pictures lined the wall and his desk was cluttered with school supplies. A soccer ball lay aloft in the corner and a silver guitar sat against the window couch.

The smell of breakfast wafted through the air and into his room. Curiously he slowly pulled the covers off of himself.

"Asher!" Came a knocking on the door. "Asher, are you awake, son?" The door opened and Jared's head poked through. This Jared was older and had a shaving cream all over his face.

"Come on, buddy. It's time to get ready for school."

The older Jared closed the door and Asher let a few tears of joy fall. He remembered the bad future and went back in time to change it. He remembered as many memories from his bright future childhood as any other teenager. However, the memories of the bad future and his mission to change it flooded back into him.

Hopping out of bed and getting ready, Asher made his way down the stairs with his book bag.

Sitting at the table was his family. Alicia and Jared were seated next to Jonah, who was drastically different from his evil self and Asher's two younger siblings, Adam and Carly.

"So," a more mature Alicia beamed, "do you remember?"

"Remember what?" Jonah asked, crossing his arms.

"Yes..." Asher smiled. "I do..."

"Welcome back, Asher." Jared said motioning for the boy to sit down.

"I don't get it." Adam stated.

"I'm lost too." Carly nodded.

Laughing to himself, Asher sat down with his family ready to lead a bright future.

~EPILOGUE 2~

Slade was not gone... he had simply vanished to a pocket dimension he created.

"This isn't over yet, Rangers..." He whispered clutching the half full Void Key... Behind him, Twilight Red kneeled at attention.

"The war has yet to begin." In front of Slade was a massive tree the size of the Empire State Building. It's numerous huge roots stuck out in all directions for what seemed like miles.

At the center of it all on the trunk of the tree was a girl, still alive and struggling to get free. Her tan skin was cut and bruised and her hair was wild. Her eyes were bloodshot and had a look of determination to get away...

"Business as usual..." Slade grinned, knowing victory was in sight.
