A/N: Hey there! This is (as you should know from the description) a short poem I wrote about Ravus. Technically, it contains spoilers for the game, so now you have been warned.
Purple throbbing webs smattered on your ivory
Skin — a curse you can't escape, set there by
An Accursed one with no remorse or empathy,
We mortals but toys to play with and cast aside
Like crumpled rough drafts of a letter never
Sent.
Ravus Nox Fleuret: noble name, elegant and beautiful
Latin. How you've fallen like the mighty Roman
Empire, conqueror of the wild, blue Mediterranean
Sea of darkness, one you are drowning in, gasping
For air with your corrupted lungs, crying out for
Death.
"Kill me. End it," you beg, half of your mouth
Consumed by the nameless demonblight that wields
Your brilliant silver sword, shining through the
Violet haze that swells with the monstrous power
Which has overcome you, taken over and made you a
Weapon.
Is this the end of a family? Once so magnificent and
Magnanimous in its deeds — two bright siblings
Killed by a crimson monster garbed in ebony
Cloth and destroyed by his hatred and burning
Anger towards the gods? ...So be it. May you find
Calm.
With this sword — the Sword of My Father — I will
Strike you down, dear brother, and carry on your
Hopes and dreams with me into the final battle
Against light and dark, Chosen and Accursed.
Wait for me. Tell Luna that I'll be joining you
Soon.
Requiescat in Pace.
A/N: Thanks for reading!
