New chapter hope you like it reviews are welcome as always enjoy x
Ace was exhausted. He'd been diving round all day, partially to escape his thoughts and partially in the hope of finding Alex before she did something stupid. He felt like he's been getting her out of trouble her whole life. He remembered just after they'd first met he'd found her fighting with some boys he recognised from the grade below him outside the diner. The argument wasn't clear but he ended up having to break a kids nose to teach him some manners.
Head spinning he pulled up at the junkyard. A usual Cobra hideout but today it was just him. He pulled a beer out of one of the stashes he kept in the empty car hoods and pulled the top off with his teeth.
He pulled his knife out his pocket and began throwing it at the various magazine pages pasted on one of the ratty shed walls. This diffused him. He was pissed. Him and Alex were supposed to be a team and recently she wasn't doing her part. The lies the disappearing, leaving the second someone gave her shit. It wasn't right it wasn't her. And if there was one thing Ace hated it was being lied to.
She didn't move an inch. Frisk had somehow found her out here alone and now she was stranded. Her blood ran cold with fear as she saw the blade glimmer as it pressed harder into her skin.
Alex tried desperately one more time to get free but he only gripped her tighter.
"I wouldn't bother darling.." he drawled in her ear. He smelled strongly of cigarettes and whiskey, Alex shivered as he skimmed the knife over her skin "you won't get far when I have this."
Alex's mind started to race and she was dizzy with fear. Why didn't she tell one of the guys where she was before she ended up trapped with an intoxicated psychopath.
"Look sweetheart, if you relax you might even enjoy yourself" Frisk placed his mouth to Alex's ear he nipping it with his teeth. Alex's blood ran cold.
"Where's Ace anyway? Thought I'd get to enjoy slicing that smirk off his face before I got his precious little girl"
"I don't know what you're on about"
"Oh come on, everyone knows what you two get up to. I saw his face when I came near you"
"It's not like that we're just friends" I gasped as he his grip round my neck grew even tighter. This stopped Frisk for a second.
"Hmm" he laughed darkly to himself "Then guess it's up to me to do what he's too chicken for."
He pushed her to the ground before he even finished his sentence. Alex tried to clamber to her feet and run but he stamped hard on her leg immobilising her. He threw himself on top of her pinning her to the dirt his intoxicated state made him a dead weight on top of her.
"Shut up baby" he whispered slapping his hand over my mouth as he tried to slip his hand into her shorts "You might start to like it"
Alex bit his fingers as hard as she could. Frisk recoiled nursing his injured fingers. Alex saw her chance to run. Hair whipped round her face as she ran for her life.
She shouted for anyone around her to help but she knew it was pointless. The Cobra's hideouts were always hidden away to avoid strangers wandering nearby. Alex felt Frisk fingers reach for a handful of her hair pulling her back and slamming her into a tree beside him.
Gasping for air she looked at Frisk's cold dead eyes. They were dark and soulless, like looking into and abyss. For the first time in a while Alex could honestly call herself scared.
Ace's one beer had turned to two which had turned to three and although he had meant to forget his anger, it had only made him worse. He threw the empty beer bottle across the hood of the car. It shattered into tiny shard and scattered across the junkyard. Ace was ready to take off but something stopped him. He heard a scream from closeby.
He shrugged it off, he was by the lake and it was a hot evening still was probably kids playing. He went again to pack up his stuff but he heard the scream again. This time he stopped. The screams were growing louder.
He ran. Faster than he ever had, he'd never experienced fear like it. He new those screams, those were Alex's screams.
"You do this and you know Ace will get you, they'll all get you" Alex tried desperately to hide the tremor in her voice as she saw Frisk reached into his pocket and pulled out his knife. He waved in menacingly in her face.
He brought his face closer to her until his lips were nearly pressed to her ear "They'll have to find you first" he whispered and for the first time in her life Alex prayed.
