Silence.
One of the few words that describe the dark Void itself. Nothing could describe the Void other than emptiness and a deafening silence. The only thing that stood out of the Void was a device of unknown origin. The device resembled a glowing Orb, encased in machinery that is at least ahead of any world's technology. The device flickered and soon come to life. It sent ripples around the Void, changing it, shaping it, and forming it into a giant theatre, resembling a mixture between the old and new era. The device floated towards the screen and started merging with it.
Once the device sunk into the screen, the screen itself flickered to life. A symbol is shown on it, resembling a sci-fi circle with strange Symbols around it. The screen flickered once more, this time to a planet with a caption under it: REMNANT. Soon, a portal appeared above the theatre, bringing in nine individuals to the ground. The individuals crashed to the floor, piling on one another, before waking up from their stupor.
"What happened?" groaned the girl with a crimson red hood.
"I...I don't know." said the girl with white hair.
"Guys, are we...are we in some movie theatre?' questioned the tanned boy with hazel colored eyes.
The group consisted of Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, Yang Xiao Long, Jaune Arc, Nora Valkyrie, Lie Ren, Oscar Pine, and Qrow Branwen. They looked around in shock and curiosity. Their sudden teleportation took them in a variety of feelings. Weiss was trying to assess the situation they're all in. Ruby being dazed and confused from the teleportation. Nora and Yang were amazed by the sight of the spacious theater. Oscar looked nervous. Qrow became more cautious and rested his hand on Harbinger just in case something happens. The only ones that were the most level headed were Blake and Ren.
"Woah, this place looks cool!" said Yang in her excitement.
Nora bounced around the theatre for a bit before slowing down in front of the giant screen. "Oh~, I wonder what's showing."
"Careful kid," Qrow said, "we don't know where the hell we are, nor do we know if this place is a trap or not."
"I agree. We should stick together and not touch anything. That means you, Nora." said Ren, who deadpanned when he saw Nora tapping the screen. She looked back to see Ren staring at her. She then meekly returned to the group.
"Hehe, sorry~" said Nora.
"It is alright. You won't have to worry about anything in this place. Its sole purpose is to be a Safehaven, after all." The group jolted in surprise from the mysterious Voice that came out of nowhere. The Voice itself was calm and slightly deep, yet it gave off an authoritative vibe, suggesting that whoever this Being is, they should not be trifled with.
"Who's there?!" Weiss was the first one to snap out of shock and brought her weapon out.
"S-show yourself!" said Jaune, brandishing his weapon out. The others did the same. "Come out, whoever you are!"
They heard whirring from the direction of the screen. The symbol on it began to distort with every sound it makes. "I apologize for your...sudden transportation to my domain. I hope you would forgive me for it."
The group was hesitant to speak to the Entity but eventually lowered their weapons. Ruby stepped forward and was the first to ask the Entity a question.
"Who are you?" she said.
"Who I am isn't your concern for the moment, child." The Entity replied cooly. "Once I retrieve everyone, I will explain to you all everything."
The group looked at each other, skepticism showing on their faces, before looking back at the Entity.
"And by everyone?" asked Qrow.
His question got answered by a few portals opening on the ceiling, dropping multiple people from them.
"Where are we?" asked a Blonde woman with a riding crop in her hand.
"I don't know Glynda, but whatever this place is, it sure seems comforting." said a slightly overweight man with grey hair and a mustache.
"It appears to be a theatre of sorts. Quite fascinating." said a man with messy green hair.
The second portal dropped two individuals. One that was slightly tanned skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes. The other being a black-headed tricolor corgi.
The third and fourth portal dropped three other individuals. One of them sported a full beard and was wearing a white coat. The other having white hair and a Saber, and the final one having black hair with crimson red eyes.
Qrow glossed over many others that were here. Glynda, Port, Oobleck, and Ironwood were there. He was surprised to see Tai and Zwei in the mix. And then there's Winter and Raven. He frowned on the last two.
"What the...what happ-Qrow?!" shouted Winter.
"Ah~ crap," groaned Qrow. "Hello to you too, Ice Queen."
Winter growled and was about to pull out her saber until Port stepped in between them and greeted Qrow with a warm welcome.
"Qrow? It's been quite a while, old friend!" said Port.
"Ah yes, indeed it is," said Oobleck.
Qrow grinned from the warm welcome of his old pals. He felt a gust of wind where he last saw Ruby. He looked around, only to find her hugging Tai.
"DAD!" cried out Ruby.
"Thank Oum, I was so worried about you," said Tai while hugging Ruby. He then ruffled Ruby's hair. "I'm glad you're safe and sound."
"Well, I had my team to help. Especially Yang," said Ruby.
Tai looked at Ruby in confusion. He tried to ask how Yang found her but was interrupted by the blonde bombshell.
"Raven sent me to her," she stated.
"R-Raven?" Tai said in surprise.
"Yes." he heard a familiar voice right behind him. Right in front of him is none other than Raven Branwen herself. "Me."
Qrow stepped in front of Tai and glared towards his sister.
"Hello, brother. I see you're-"
"Cut the bullcrap, Ray." Qrow interrupted. "I ain't done with you after you pulled that stunt in Haven."
"Oh, please, Qrow. You're still angry after all that?" said Raven.
"He is, and rightfully so." Yang strode forward while glaring towards Raven. Raven's gaze softened from this.
"Yang," she said.
"What, Raven? Are you gonna run away like a coward again?" retorted Yang.
"Yang, don't do this," seethed Raven, prompting for Qrow to pull out Harbinger.
"Oh hell no, Raven. You are not gonna lay a single finger on her. You understand?"
"Guys, I don't think this is necessary!" Tai tried to be the Voice of Reason, but it fell to deaf ears.
"Why not? She's capable of fending for herself!" Raven stated.
"That doesn't mean you know me, Raven!" yelled Yang. "In fact, how are you even here in the first place?!"
"I brought her here." Yang turned her head towards the screen.
"What?" she said.
"I said, I brought her here," stated the Entity.
Raven's curiosity got the better of her, and she started asking the Entity a question.
"Who are you?" asked Raven.
"You will know in due time, and before you ask, I manipulated your Semblance to transport you here. It makes it easier for me to bring you using your Semblance rather than siphoning your aura to conjure you to here." The Entity explained, leaving Raven and the newcomers to widen their eyes.
"Why is she here then?" asked Yang.
"I would've explained it to you later on, but you've been so insistent on knowing that I felt amused. For that, I'll give you a short explanation." The Entity began explaining. "She, among with many others, participated in your world's events. Simply put, she pushed your world's narrative and timeline. Even though her actions were minor."
"Timeline?" questioned Ruby.
"Yes, Miss Rose. Your world's Timeline." replied the Entity.
That caused Ruby to flinch and stare at the screen with wide eyes. Her friends and family members did the same.
"You know my name?" said Ruby.
"Of course, I know all of your names, your histories, your hardships...everything. Meaning there's no need for introductions, especially for a...certain wizard inhabiting in a young man's body." the Entity said with a tone of amusement, making the people in the theatre tense from what the Entity said. None more so than Ozma, who's currently taking control of Oscar's body.
"Speaking of which..." as the Entity said that, another portal emerged. But this time, it appeared on ground level. There, a person stepped out of the portal. A person that resembles a mix between a Human and a Grimm.
Ozma, or Oscar's face scrunched up in silent fury as he watches the person that he fought in all of his lives coming out of the portal. A singular word was muttered by him. "Salem," he said.
Salem, the Queen of Grimm, is now standing in front of them, her expression showing no signs of nervousness. Instead, she greeted Ozma with a sly smile. "Hello, Ozma."
Behind her are her cohorts, Tyrian Callows, Hazel Reinhart, Arthur Watts, Mercury Black, and Emerald Sustrai. All five of them stared at the large group in front of them with a variety of emotions. Tyrian, having an eager smile and awaiting Salem's orders to rush in on them. Hazel and Watts kept a calm demeanor. However, as soon as Hazel gazed towards Oscar, he was struggling to keep his cool. Watts was also struggling to keep his cool. Not because he is angry, but because he and his "allies" were surrounded, and outnumbered. Mercury looked annoyed for the most part, and Emerald glared angrily at Team RWBY, JN(P)R, Oscar, and Qrow.
Ozma's faction was about to pull their weapons out until another portal emerged behind Salem's group. Coming out of it was a hooded woman, wearing a light brown robe with a dark brown cloak over it. The woman moved her hood away, causing Ruby and her friends pull out their weapons. The woman has an Ambered eye, but her right eye has a massive scar. Her eye roamed through various people until her eye landed on someone she hates with all her might.
"You..." growled Cinder.
"Oh no..." said Ruby.
With the Maiden's powers, she created two Scimitars and was about to lunge at them. That is until an unknown force was keeping her in place, as if gravity was affecting her.
"What...is...this..." said Cinder while she was struggling to move.
"I cannot allow you to harm any other being in this room, especially the ones that are of utmost importance," said the Entity. "and for the rest of you, I suggest for you to lower your weapons. There will be no bloodshed in this place."
"And why should we listen to you?" questioned Salem.
A long pause was all she heard before the Entity started chuckling, making the people concerned.
"Hehehe, why?" the Entity said. It sighed before replying to Salem's question. "Well, I'll just have to humor you then."
The Entity released Cinder from its grip, dropping her to the floor.
"Cinder!" shouted Emerald.
Emerald rushed towards Cinder and gave her a hand, but Cinder swatted her hand away.
"I'm fine," growled Cinder.
While most of the occupants weren't noticing, a few saw the screen lighting up, energy dispersing out of it. One of the few was Jaune.
"Uh, guys," said Jaune. "Is it me, or is the screen getting brighter?"
The occupants turned their attention towards the screen, which was getting brighter and brighter for every second, until it dispersed a wave of blue energy that crashed towards the big group, knocking them over to the ground.
Once out of her dazed state, Cinder took the chance to kill Ruby while she and her friends are still recovering from their daze. She tried summoning her Scimitars, only to receive nothing.
"W-what?" said Cinder.
She tried summoning her weapons, only for her to get nothing. She tried again and again, but it only resulted in the same thing.
"What is the meaning of this? Why can't I use the Maiden's powers?!" yelled Cinder.
"I have locked access to your use of magic, meaning you have no control over your Semblance nor the Maiden's powers. That goes for all of you as well." said the Entity.
The audience was shocked to say the least. Ruby tried using her semblance but nothing came out. Others did the same and got nothing. Even Salem tried using her magic but nothing worked. She looked at the screen, knowing that she can't cause any harm to the Entity.
'This...thing is too powerful,' thought Salem. 'I have to play safe and follow its rules for the time being.'
"Now, do you understand the situation you are all in?" asked the Entity.
The audience nodded, save for a few.
"Good, now take a seat and wait for further instructions." ordered the Entity.
The audience complied, some reluctantly followed suit. Once they took the seats, they were all waiting for the Entity to speak. They were unnerved, having experienced being in the presence of a powerful Entity. The uncomfortable silence made it all the more unnerving for the audience.
The silence abruptly stopped by the sound of several portals opening behind the audience. More and more people coming out from it. From Ghira, Kali, and Ilia to Team SSSN, and CFVY.
The initial reaction for the newcomers was a complete surprise before turning into happiness. Especially when they saw their friends sitting in what looks like a theatre room. Ghira, Kali, Ilia, and Team SNNN all went towards Ruby and her friends. They told them that the group went missing and they searched for them for almost the whole week.
Teams CFVY was initially shocked to find themselves in a strange theatre with people they mostly know. But it then turned into confusion when they realized how'd they got here and why they were here.
"At least you all are still safe and sound. But I must wonder, how did you get to this place?" asked Ghira.
"Well, we were walking down the streets of Mistral when finding a new place to stay for a while. Then, suddenly our Aura acted uncontrollably, and we've been engulfed by white light. Which ended up being this theatre room."
"Wait, have you experienced something similar?" asked Weiss.
"Yup, when I heard you guys went missing, I almost went ballistic. But when I was about to head back to Haven after finding no clue on where you've been, my Aura started flaring before I was engulfed by white light," said Ilia.
"Mmph, same with me and dear old Ghira over here." Kali said, eliciting a muttered 'Hey' from Ghira. "We're all talking to some of the staff in Haven Academy, and the Authorities. Until a bright light engulfed me and Ghira."
Satisfied with the answer, Weiss turned towards team SNNN for questioning.
"Same story here," said Sun.
"Yup, we were on the streets searching for you all, and you know the rest," said Neptune.
Ruby looked behind the couple and saw the two teams she met in Beacon. One of the members she most certainly recognize.
"Coco?" she called out. Said girl turned back in shock to see Ruby in her current form.
"Ruby?!" replied the fashionista. "Hot damn, if it weren't for the emblem, the hair, and the Scythe I would've mistaken you for another person."
"Don't forget the eyes!" Yang reminded cheekily while smothering Ruby with her bosom.
"Yang, lemme go!" Ruby's muffled protest couldn't be heard by the blonde brawler.
Amidst the sisterly hug, another portal emerged between them. The two tumbled away from the portal, much to the sisters' annoyance. There, three people emerged out of it.
Saphron, Terra, and Adrian all emerged out of the portal, showing confused or shocked looks. What shocked them more is when their eyes set to Jaune himself, who immediately recognized the trio.
"Jaune?!" said Saphron.
"Saph?! Terra?! Adrian?! What are you all doing here?!" yelled out Jaune.
He felt someone tapping on his shoulder behind him. He turned around to see Ruby in front of him, along with the whole group looking confused.
"Uh, Jaune? Who're they?" asked Ruby.
"Um," he began pointing at Saphron. "That, over there, is my sister Saphron."
"Hi everyone," she replied kindly.
He then pointed at Terra. "Beside her is her wife, Terra."
She smiled warmly at the group. "I'm glad to finally meet Jaune's friends. You all look wonderful."
"Aw, thanks, Mrs. Arc," said Nora.
"It's actually called Cotta-Arc," corrected Terra.
"Oh, gotcha," said Nora.
Finally, he pointed towards Adrian. "And that little bundle of joy on her arms is Adrian."
The little boy waved his arms around, making most of the girls of the group gush and coo on the little boy while the guys chuckled from the display. Snapping out of it, Ruby rushed towards Jaune, their faces inches away from one another.
Jaune tumbled back and started stammering. "Uh, R-Ruby, wha-"
"Why didn't you tell me you're an uncle?!" she said, cutting off Jaune before he could say anything.
"Um, what?" the blonde knight responded.
Ruby got off of Jaune before continuing. "Why didn't you tell us that you have a Nephew, who I need to remind you is the most adorable thing I've ever seen?!"
"I thought Zwei was the most adorable thing you've seen," said Yang.
"Second most adorable thing," Ruby corrected herself. She felt her leg was being nudged and saw Zwei bopping her with his nose. "No worries, Zwei. You're still number 1."
"Well, you didn't ask," Jaune responded, albeit nervously.
"Yeah, my bad." Ruby apologized.
"Nah, it's cool," said Jaune.
"Anywho..." Ruby spun around and used her Semblance to get in front of the couple.
"Is it okay if I carry him?" asked Ruby, pointing towards Adrian.
"I see no problem with it. But do be careful with Adrian, though," said Terra.
"No worries, I'll be extra gentle with him. Isn't that right wittle Adrian?"
The baby's response was to giggle happily, making Ruby and the girls nearby gush over him. Saphron and Terra looked at the group with smiles on their faces before facing Jaune.
"Your friends are an interesting bunch," said Saphron with an amused smirk.
"Hehe, yeah..." said Jaune.
A new portal emerged from one of the walls. There, four people emerged out of it. Junior and The Malachite twins were the first to come out, experiencing a bit of nausea from the trip. When they were able to stand up straight, they immediately recognize the blonde bombshell in front of them.
"Oh Gods, it's you," Junior said with a groan.
"You're quite the sight for sore eyes," replied Yang.
"Um, Yang. Who's this?" Ruby said, pointing towards Junior and the Twins.
It is there that Neptune finally stepped in. "Isn't he the same guy that gave us information about Roman?"
"Yup, and you're looking right at him," said Junior. "and he's the same person that owns a bar, which was thrashed by none other than blondie over here."
"Wait, what?" questioned Tai.
"U-um, nothing," said Yang.
"Oh, and don't get me started on property damage and injuries of my workers. Do you know how much it is to pay those costs?"
"Yang," Tai said, trying not to lose his patience and telling her daughter off for not only going to a bar underaged but also causing a lot of damages in the process.
"Can we talk about this later? I think another person is coming out of the portal," said Yang, trying to find an excuse to avoid her father at the moment.
"Nice try Yang but you ain't gonna get away with this one, young lady," said Tai.
True to her words, a figure came out of the portal. She was a foot lower than Ruby, has pink and dark-brown hair, and has pink and brown heterochromia eyes. Neopolitan gazed at the people around her until she spotted a familiar reaper in the center of it. Her face showed anger and she started walking towards Ruby, with Hush on her hand, until she felt every part of her body locked in place by an unknown force.
"I know what you are doing, Miss Neopolitan." said the Entity. "and I will not allow you to do such harm."
The newcomers were startled by the disembodied voice. Some were beginning to feel off. Their aura started flaring before briefly stopping. The ones that weren't affected by this were confused. That is until the Entity explained what had happened.
After a summary the Entity gave, the newcomers were shocked by this revelation. A being that not only can manipulate Aura but could also manipulate their very soul. That made some of the newcomers feel uneasy.
"Relax," the Entity said. "I do not have any malicious intentions for any of you. Now I will continue to distribute more newcomers to here. In the meantime, you may talk amongst one another."
The Entity once again produced another portal. This time, two new individuals came out of it. One was an elderly man in a mechanized four-legged chair, a red vest over a cream shirt with a bow tie, and glasses. The other was a female who had bright green eyes and wore an olive green dress with a black hem. The two gazed at the theater in awe and looked to see several people seated. One of them having their eyes widened by the sight of the two.
"...P-Penny?" Ruby felt like she was about to cry.
When Penny saw Ruby, her eyes widened as well.
"Ruby..." she croaked.
Using her Semblance, Ruby ram straight into Penny and gave her a tight squeeze. Penny returned the hug, and after a while, the two let go of each other.
"Penny," Ruby began speaking. "I-I miss you so much!"
"I miss you too, Ruby," Penny replied.
"Wait, how are you alive?" Ruby questioned.
"Well, I rebuilt her." She turned to see the Elderly Person from earlier. "Forgive me if I haven't properly introduced myself. My name is Pietro Polendina, and I'm-"
"Penny's father?" Ruby was shocked to see Penny's father in person.
"Indeed, but I'm also an Atlesian Scientist." Pietro reminded. "Now, can someone tell me how did we get here?"
Before Ruby could reply, her teammates joined her, and one of them answered for her.
"Well, there's this God that brought us here-"
"Correction, I am not a God nor any diety. I am but a Being with vast amounts of power." the Entity interrupted Yang. "I apologize if I intrude on your conversation, but I do not wish for others viewing me as some divine being."
"Wait, do you have problems with Gods or Deities?" Weiss questioned.
"I don't particularly hate the creators of various worlds nor the religion the mortals created, but when it comes to me being viewed as one, I see it as a problem." the Entity explained.
"Why?" said Blake.
"I'd rather be seen as a normal human being rather than a divine being." the Entity replied. "Often, I visit some of my old creations only to be greeted as some god rather than a person. It...gets lonely here sometimes. I haven't had any interaction other than my fellow brethren for almost millions of years, and even they don't visit me so often."
Most of the audience felt a bit of sympathy for the Entity. Not only did the Entity felt alone, but it also hadn't been with anyone for a long time.
"I know you all feel sympathy for me. But please, don't be." the Entity said. "I almost forgot to mention that the roster in this room is still incomplete. I will bring one more group to the theatre, but be warned. Do not try and rush to them. They're still getting used to their physical forms again."
"What do you mean?" asked Oscar.
"Coming back to the mortal realm can be tiresome. Especially when you've spent a long time in it." the Entity said as it started producing one more portal. This time, it is distinctively brighter than others. Multiple figures stepped out of it and entered the theatre. Several of the audience members showed various emotions, depending on what person they saw.
"P-Pyrrha?" Jaune became still for a moment.
"Jaune." Pyrrha walked towards Jaune and hugged him. Tears began dripping from the two. For it is not tears of sadness, but tears of joy. The rest of the Beacon students, alongside the staff, started walking towards the newcomers. Ren, Nora, and three-fourths of Team RWBY created a group hug with Pyrrha. But, as Ruby was about to join the group hug, her eyes caught something she never thought she would see.
There, standing in front of her, was an older Ruby, but with longer hair and a white cloak. Her eyes glistened when she took sight of her.
"M-mom...?" Ruby stood there, hoping that this was truly real and not some figment of her imagination.
Summer Rose walked towards her daughter and gave her a gentle hug. "Yes, my little rose petal. I'm here."
She felt another weight right behind her, and when she looked up, she saw Tai, in tears and smiling at the same time. Summer started crying as well and hugged the two tightly.
"Summer," Tai said. "I...I never thought to see you once more. Yet, you're here."
"It's okay, Tai. I'm here now," Summer said. "and I won't leave you from now on."
Yang joined after, and the family was whole once more. Eventually, the family separated themselves from the hug. Qrow walked towards the family and started greeting Summer.
"Shortstack," he said. Qrow's voice had barely emotion in it, but his face betrays it all.
"Slits." Summer's smile beamed as she gave Qrow a hug that would've broke his spine if it weren't for his aura.
"Hehe, miss you too, Sum," Qrow grunted out as his lungs are getting mushed a bit. When she let go of him, she noticed a flask hanging off of his belt.
"Is that-"
"The flask you gave me?" Qrow finished Summer's sentence. "Yes."
Summer gave a heartfelt smile to Qrow.
"I can't believe you've kept it all this time." Summer almost started crying again but stopped herself from doing so. Qrow's smile faltered and was replaced by a somber look.
"I kept it because it...it reminds me of you..." Qrow rubbed his arm a bit.
"Oh," Summer understood what Qrow meant before her smile returned in full force. "Well, I'm here now. That's all that matters."
"Yeah..." Qrow smiled at Summer's response.
With Neo, she saw the only person she cared about the most, standing right in front of her.
"Neo, I-" Neo hugged Roman before he said anything. He saw tears streaming down her cheeks. So he let her sobbing as he continued to pat her back, trying to calm her down. Once the tears stopped, he cupped Neo's cheek as she leaned on it.
"I'm sorry I didn't make it for you, Neo. I'd hope that you're safe, and my wish did come true. But I'm here now, and I will never leave you again. I promise." Roman once again hugged Neo as her expression turned into a happy one. Roman saw his old friend, Junior, approaching him.
"In all my life, this has gotta be the best thing that's happened." Junior smiled towards the two.
"Heh, miss you too, old friend," Roman replied before letting go of Neo. "I see you're doing better."
"Not since the Grimm attacked, if that's what you're wondering," Junior said, making the thief frown.
"Shit," Roman felt a bit of regret, considering that he helped to bring in the Grimm into Vale. "Well, at least you and the twins are alright."
"Yeah, and they're doing good," replied Junior. He turned to see the twins standing around, looking at the people with bored expressions.
Back with Teams RWBY and JNPR, they started chatting with one another until two figures walked towards the teams. Specifically, team JNPR. It is when the two approached the team they noticed the expression on their resident ninja, Ren. His face showed complete and utter shock, and they turned in his direction to see the source of it. It is there that they noticed two people. One was an older-looking Ren, minus the pink eyes and hairstreak. He was also wearing the similar clothing Ren wore. The other was a female, who had dusky-rose hair with pink-colored eyes. She also wore similar clothing.
"...Lie?" the woman said.
"M-mother? Father?" Ren's calm demeanor almost shattered when he saw his parents again. He walked steadily to the two before hugging them. The couple returned the favor.
"My son," Ren's father, Li, began to talk. "I'm so happy that we're able to see you again, and you've grown into a young adult now."
"My little Lie. I miss you so much." Ann, Ren's mother, said.
Their moment was interrupted by the theatre's screen flickering sporadically before returning to normal. The icon, once again, appeared on it.
"I apologize for the...sudden jolt of the screen. But my energy has almost depleted from transporting you all to here." The Entity said. "For now, you'll be spending time here in this room until I regain some of my energy back."
"What will we do here?" Ruby asked.
"Simple, watch," The Entity replied.
"Watch what, exactly?" Watts finally spoke out and asked.
"You'll soon find out," the Entity replied. "Now, for the rest of you. Please take a seat so you would not disturb anyone who is watching."
"Hold on a sec. You haven't told us why we're here in the first place." Yang said as she place her mechanical hand on her hip.
"I told you that I will explain once everyone is here." The Entity stated. "But since the whole cast is incomplete, I won't tell you everything until they're all here."
Eventually, the ones that are curious as to why they're here decided to stop asking until the Entity obliges.
"Now, considering that my energy signals nearly depleted, I will instead show you a teaser of what you'll watch until I have somewhat of a decent energy pool." the Entity explained.
Soon, the audience went silent as the lights of the theatre went off.
The scene begins with a Spartan Warrior standing in the middle of a rubbled city. A close up of the warrior's helm shows the warrior with determination in their eyes.
"Woah, kinda looks like you, Pyrrha," Jaune said.
"Do you think so?" Pyrrha asks shyly.
"Yeah, although it doesn't look like it fits in the scene."
"Why is that?"
"I may have a theory." Oobleck butted in. "It could be that the armor itself isn't from the world's era, judging from the various vehicles and objects scattered throughout the scene. That and the design of the armor itself doesn't fit the criteria of modern huntsmen and huntresses."
"Is it also because it doesn't have a makeshift weapon." Port decided to tag along.
"...Maybe."
"You're correct." The Entity said. "The armor you're looking at now is used by the Greeks. The armor was pre-dated back centuries, or even millennia ago from my homeworld."
"It doesn't sound old from the look of things. Considering that you're an immortal being, it barely sounded a lot," Coco said.
"Oh ho, I almost forgot to mention that this was during my time as mortal. Which is eons ago, by the way."
"Wait, you're saying that you're billions of years old?!" Jaune said in shock.
"Indeed," said the Entity. "Now, what you'll be seeing next are ancient armors back from my homeworld called Earth."
The next scene cuts to a Roman Gladiator, replacing the Spartan's original spot.
"There are those who wear masks to hide."
Most of Beacon's students and staff, along with the Xiao-Long family were shocked to hear Ruby's voice narrating over the footage.
"Ruby is in this one?" said Yang.
"Yes," the Entity answered
The next scene shows a WW1 military officer wearing heavy armor over their head before switching to a Salampasu Warrior.
Ironwood was genuinely surprised to see a Great War military gear shown on screen.
"Huh, they look like the Great War gear we used to have," Ironwood commented.
"You'll be surprised to know that my homeworld, Earth, had two great wars during its time." The Entity casually said.
That caused the audience to double-take on what the Entity said.
"Now, now. You will have your fair share of information about my homeworld in a future viewing. For now, focus on the screen." the Entity said.
"And those who wear masks,"
The scene changes to a Huli Wigmen staring down at the camera before switching to a close-up shot of a Knight's helmet.
"To show us what they stand for."
That made Blake remember the White Fang. How they used masks that resemble Grimm to signify who they are. Ilia had a similar thought process when she heard what the Ruby on screen said.
The next scene shows a Samurai warrior in a stance with their katana before switching to an unknown warrior holding their shield up. Another scene cuts to a close-up of a Fighter Pilot's Helm.
"To inspire."
The Knight from earlier stood idle in front of the camera before switching to an Aztec Warrior bearing his teeth.
"To unite."
The Spartan also stood idle as the image cuts to a Ninja doing a high kick and a stance.
Yang made a cheeky grin and faced towards Blake, who had a scowl on her face.
"Don't you think about it," Blake warned.
"I wasn't even gonna say it." Yang waved it off.
"But you're still thinking about it!"
"So what?"
"I-" before Blake could counter, she was shushed by Nora, who was watching the screen intently.
"To defy."
A scene of the Huli Wigmen briefly pulling back his bow before showing another unknown warrior standing amid the destruction. Another scene briefly shows someone using white paint on a mask.
"To strike fear in the hearts of their enemies."
A scene showing an Amazigh Warrior pulling out a scimitar before briefly showing an Asaro Mudman doing a stance.
"Okay, what the hell is that last one?" asked Neptune.
"It is called an Asaro Mudman, and it is very real from where I came." the Entity answered.
"Relax, Nep. There's plenty of weird-looking stuff back in our world." Sun replied.
"Ah, true." Neptune decided not to rebuttal and continue watching the screen.
"And hope in the hearts of their followers."
A brief clip of a Maasai Warrior was shown.
"There are those who wear masks to protect themselves."
Some of the warriors started doing a battle cry, before the scene goes over several of those warriors.
"I gotta admit, there's a lot of variety in this," Weiss commented.
"Agreed," Oscar said.
The final shot shows multiple individuals standing within the shadows.
"Okay, that's not ominous at all." Yang sarcastically said.
"I wonder who they are," Velvet said.
"We'll probably have our answer soon enough," Yatsuhashi said.
"And there are those who wear masks..."
The camera panned towards the center of the group. The person lit up a flare, the light emanating their face.
Once again, the Xiao-Long family was shocked to see Ruby, but much older.
"Woah, is that me?" Ruby was surprised to see herself like this.
"What are you even wearing, Rubes?" Yang asked.
"Is that...military garbs?" Summer asked.
"And why is she even wearing that cap? That does not suit you, Red." Coco said.
"Hey, I get to say Red's nickname. Not you!" Roman said as Neo stuck her tongue out towards Coco.
The individual pulled down their cap, revealing it to be a mask of sorts.
"...to protect us all."
The screen cuts to black as the Audience discussed what they saw amongst themselves. The symbol on the Screen returns, and Entity shares one more announcement.
"Okay, I was able to siphon more of my energy. That will mean more of the others will appear in this room. For now, stay tuned and grab any food and beverages you wish." The Entity said before the screen shuts to black.
(A/N: Okay, this is actually my first time using for making fanfics other than to read. If there is anything wrong to the story, please reach out and tell me what it is. So, my migration from Wattpad to Fanfiction is here. Wish me luck.)
