(A/N: Alright, chapter two is completed and I'm gonna show you all right now. If you have any suggestions or if you see any errors in my writing, please let me know. Enjoy.)

Inspiration: Call of Duty Ghosts

While the Entity slowly summoned a portal with some of their energy, everyone started talking amongst themselves. One of which was Salem and her cohorts.

"M'lady," Watts said. "As much as I want to stay and view these...other worlds, perhaps we should take another approach and eliminate this Entity."

"Watts, do you honestly believe I am capable of killing them, let alone injure them? The Being that is currently keeping us captive wields a power that I've never felt nor seen. I could feel it emanating from that damned screen we're facing at." Salem said as she pointed towards the cinema screen.

Watts grumbled at the thought while Hazel sat idle, arms crossed and a neutral expression.

"What if this Entity is connected to the Brother Gods?" Hazel debated.

Salem considered the idea and thought it over. She looked at Tyrian, Watts, and Cinder and voiced her thoughts.

"The Entity may be connected, or at the very least, known to the Brother Gods. It may not be farfetched that the Entity knew of the Brother Gods' existence. It could even be why that this Entity knows of us and Remnant. But I want to hear your thoughts on the matter. Tyrian?"

"Yes, my queen?" the Scorpian Faunus eagerly spoke.

"I want to hear what you think of the idea," she said.

"Well, if it were to be true, it could mean that the Brother Gods either tasked the Entity to gather us all in one area, which would be very unlikely, or that the Entity summoned us here under their own volition." Tyrian theorized, making Salem a bit surprised before smiling at him.

"Very good, Tyrian. You have quite the mind for this."

Tyrian stammered and tried his best to hide his excitement.

"I-I thank you, my lady! Your words truly make me happy."

"Oh, bother..." muttered Watts.

Salem's attention shifted towards Watts, who looked at her with a raised eyebrow. He sighed, knowing what his queen is about to say.

"Honestly, I have little care for this speculation of sorts. But if I must, I must." Watts shifted a bit in his seat. "I...agree with Tyrian's insight. For such a Ne'er-do-well that always obsesses with their superior, I'm honestly surprised he could be capable of thinking such a thing."

Tyrian's smile dropped, replaced with a frown.

"I'm not dumb, you know." he crossed his arms and pouted a little.

"I doubt you even care about such blatant offenses. Besides, I wasn't criticizing your intelligence, but rather your ignorance."

Unbeknownst to the group, the Entity was watching over their conversation.

'I may have to converse with them on a later date.' the Entity thought. Their gaze soon shifted towards the students and their families. More specifically, on the raven-haired woman with the same name.

Raven always felt strength and courage within herself. She doesn't let fear nor anxiousness take control of her. That is until Summer came back to life and reunited with the family. She wanted to speak to her, to try and have a conversation after all the years she's been dead. Yet, she had this feeling that she would make the situation unfavorable for herself, Summer, and her former family. She suddenly felt that someone is watching her. She looked around to find the person but stopped dead when she saw who was staring at her. There, Summer Rose was looking towards Raven, concern showing on her face. She got up and walked towards her until she was right in front of her.

"Hi Ray..." Summer said awkwardly.

"Sum," Raven greeted back. "I see that even in death, you barely change."

Summer sighed from the response she heard. She shook her head a little and looked at Raven, straight in the eye.

"We...we need to talk,"

"What's there to talk?" Raven asked.

"About Tai. About Yang. How you left them." Summer gestured towards the two.

Before Raven could even reply, two portals emerged on the back of the room. One was the glowing white portal from earlier, while the other was a grey-colored one.

The white portal brought four people out of it. The first person that came out of it was a Tiger Faunus with numerous tattoos resembling a tiger-striped pattern. The second was a Lion Faunus with a mane. The third was a woman with tan-colored skin, short brown hair, and icy blue eyes. The fourth and last person to come out had a light brown complexion, with shoulder-length, straight brown hair, and has a green cloak over their body.

"Where are we now?" the Tiger Faunus asked.

"This...is the afterlife?" the Lion Faunus said in small fear.

"Heh, I might get used to this place," the one with icy blue eyes said.

The fourth person didn't respond. Instead, they stared at the direction of Salem's group, more specifically at Cinder.

There were a variety of emotions sprawling from the audience. For most of the Faunus, they were surprised to see Sienna Khan standing amongst them. Though, the Atlesians tensed up when they see the former White Fang leader within the same room as them.

For Team RW(B)Y, JN(P)R, Qrow, and Oscar, they glared towards Lionheart, who shuffled away in nervousness. For Salem's group, it was a different story.

"Ah, the cowardly lion is back." Tyrian cackled from his own joke.

"Well, this will certainly be interesting," Watts commented on the situation.

"Heh, they'll probably tear him a new one before we could even get a hold of him," Mercury said as he pointed towards the people that were glaring at Lionheart.

Emerald rolled her eyes as she looked back at Cinder, who's expression shown worry.

"Is everything wrong?" Emerald asked in concern for Cinder.

"Amber." Cinder simply responded.

"The Fall Maiden?" Emerald asked.

"Former Fall Maiden," Cinder corrected.

Emerald's response was interrupted when the second portal, the grey portal, produced four more individuals out of it. The first person was an Elderly Woman with dark skin and long silver hair. The woman had a goggle-like prosthetic for Eyes. The second individual is a fair-skinned man with white, slicked-back hair. He has a large, thick mustache and cold blue eyes. The third was a woman with similar skin color and eyes, but she also carries a wine bottle. The fourth and last individual is a young boy with the same skin color and Eyes.

"Father, where are we?" the white-haired boy asked.

"Not now, Whitely." the man beside him said, glaring towards a certain someone in RWBY's group. The boy followed the direction of his father's gaze. His expression change from confusion to displeasure.

Weiss felt her heart stopped when she took sight of her family once more. She could see her father glaring in her direction, her mother giving a sad look, and her brother glare, not as aggressive as her father, but all the more displeased. She suddenly felt someone tapping on her shoulder, so she checked to see Ruby with concern all over her face.

"Weiss, what's wrong?" Ruby asked.

"My family is here," her voice was almost a whisper, but Ruby was able to catch what Weiss had said.

"May I have your attention, please?" Ruby, along with many others, was slightly caught off guard from the sound of the Entity's voice returning. Those who were new to the place were frantically searching for the mysterious voice that came out of nowhere.

"Good," the Entity said. "For those who just came here, welcome."

Most of the newcomers looked towards the screen, where they saw the Entity's symbol is displayed.

"If you have any questions, please go right ahead."

None of the individuals asked, none except one.

"Okay, if you're answering my question, where the bloody hell are we?!" Vernal asked, albeit aggressively.

"You're currently standing in my domain, where you and the others are held for the time being." the Entity answered.

"What for?" it was Sienna's turn to ask.

"The answer will come in a later date. For now, I will simply explain what you will be doing here."

"Before I explain, however," the screen started glowing once more, along with the newcomers before they felt something strange. Their Aura slowly glowed before suddenly flaring up.

"There, I have locked your Auras so you won't be able to injure any occupants in this room." the Entity said, shocking the newcomers.

"Now, let me explain your situation."

/*/

After a short explanation the Entity gave, the newcomers were even more shocked by the revelation.

"So," Amber, after all the silence, finally spoke out. "You're telling me that we'll be viewing other worlds?"

"Correct," the Entity said.

"Of our alternate selves in different times or scenarios?"

"Correct," the Entity repeated. "I know it hard to believe but-"

"And not to mention that you're a god of some kind." Vernal interrupted.

She could hear what sounded like a sigh from the Entity.

"Yes, I am a Being with extraordinary powers." the Entity answered. "Now is not the time to talk about me. Now is the time for you to view other worlds. So for that, please take your seats already."

The newcomers all went to their respective areas. Amber sat near the Beacon Staff, Lionheart sat behind Salem's group, Maria sat between Ruby's group and the Atlesians, Vernal sat beside Raven, Sienna sat behind Raven, and the Schnee family sat in the middle column of the theatre.

With Lionheart, his situation is a bit stressful at the moment.

"Hello, Lionheart." Salem greeted.

"Why am I seated with all of you?" Lionheart wanted to get away from Salem and her minions as fast as possible.

"It appears that the Entity knew of your...alliance with us," Watts said.

"Hehehe, no worries, Leo. The Entity made sure we won't kill you, and by us, I meant us, and the wizard's followers." Tyrian pointed towards the Beacon Staff, along with RWBY and JNPR.

Lionheart gulped at the thought and decided to lay back in his seat, hoping that it would swallow him in the process.

With Amber, she silently sat behind the Beacon staff, not wanting to converse with them.

With Maria, she was pleased to see an old friend after so long.

"Maria, is that you?" Pietro said as he adjusted his glasses a little.

"The one and only," the Elderly Woman grinned. "Besides, how can I forget the one person that gave my sight back."

"Pietro, may I ask who your friend is?" Ironwood asked Pietro.

"Ah, my apologies for not telling you this. Right here is Maria Calavera, she's-"

"An old friend who hasn't seen you in quite a while," Maria said before letting Pietro finish his sentence.

"You may also know her by her title, "The Grim Reaper."" the Entity interrupted.

At the mention of the title, Summer and Qrow quickly went still and stared at Maria with bewildered eyes.

"No fuckin' way," Qrow muttered.

"Y-you're THE Grimm Reaper?" Summer nervously asked, her excitement almost ready to burst at any moment.

Maria sighed and glared towards the screen, housing the Entity, before turning back towards Summer.

"Yes, that was what I used to be. Now I'm just Maria Calavera, an old hag with good ol' nifty tricks up her sleeves." Maria said.

"Oh, come now, Maria. You're still capable of fighting a person on a one-on-one battle." Pietro tried cheering up Maria, but it wasn't working.

"Tell that to my previous eyes. I was too cocky to fight a group of mercenaries alone. The next thing I know, one of them not only beat me so easily but also made me lose my sight." Maria explained, making Summer crestfallen and Qrow downcast.

"But enough of the gloom and doom. I wanna see what world awaits us!" Maria declared, making those around feel a little better.

"Hehe, that's the spirit," Nora commented on it.

With the Schnee family, more specifically Jacque, Willow, and Whitley, they don't have that much interaction with the others. Jacques' face shows skepticism, Willow's face shows worry, and Whitley's expression was a bit of impatience, awaiting what comes next.

"Alright, I was able to produce enough energy to view the world we'll be watching." the Entity announced.

"What world are we gonna watch?" asked Weiss.

"Let's just say that this part of the viewing will show the events that transpire before the world goes to war with one another." the Entity explained, making the audience shocked and frightened from the idea of another war in their world.

"I almost forgot to mention the ground rules of this world."

"Ground rules?" Nora asked.

"You could say it helps compare any alternate world to yours. In this alternate world, magic does not exist. Meaning that Aura, Dust, Grimm, and anything involved with the Brother Gods does not exist nor happens in this world. That even includes the war between Ozma and Salem."

That caused a bit of a stir in the audience themselves. On the one hand, the Grimm, and most importantly Salem, doesn't exist or no longer poses a threat to humankind. But on the other hand, living without Aura or Dust feels off for most of the viewers.

"How is that possible? Don't people need Aura to live?" asked Ruby.

"You are mistaken. Aura is simply a projection of your soul. It doesn't mean it is your soul. Removing the function of it would simply mean removing the ability to block attacks using your soul or heal quicker. Other than that, nothing affects the soul."

"Hold on a second. You said that Dust doesn't exist in this world, correct?" Ironwood asked.

"Yes, it doesn't." the Entity answered.

"So how does this world's people survive then? What energy do these people use?"

"Simple. Just use a completely different and more potent energy source. Like oil, gasoline, etc."

"How about weapons?" Ruby asked.

"As for weapons, the people here use what they called Gun Powder. It is a more powerful propellant explosive than Fire Dust and could be made using saltpeter, sulfur, and charcoal."

"But we're getting sidetracked, so I'll just explain what this world's lore is in a short explanation. Simply put, the world's powers have fallen due to the shortages of fuel and resources in the heart of Vacuo. Remnants of the Fallen Kingdom, Vacuo, alongside one-thirds of Sanus, half of the continent Anima, and a corrupted Menagerie all form a union known as the Federation. For years, the remaining powers were fighting against the new alliance. Some battles were successful while others garnered mass losses." the Entity summarized a good portion of the world's lore.

"And now, we will witness one of those losses."

The lights of the theatre begin to dwindle as the screen came to life.

"It was a different time, a different enemy," the voice of Taiyang said.

The scene begins with multiple Light-colored human-like figures standing outside of a broken wall, raising their weapons against an unknown force.

"Woah, that looks cool," Ruby said, mesmerized by the style of presentation.

"I agree," Weiss said.

Most of the audience nodded or said in agreement.

"Wait, why are those soldiers there? Are they defending something?" Velvet asked.

"Beats me, Vel," Coco responded.

"Sixty men, from Tier One teams, were sent to face down a force of five hundred enemy fighters." continued Taiyang.

Various Dark-colored Figures rushed towards the light-colored Figures with weapons, pushing towards the front.

If Ironwood had a drink, he would've choked after hearing the amount of enemies the soldiers were up against.

"Sixty? Against Five Hundred?!" Ironwood yelled. "I would understand if they were skilled men, but that doesn't mean they're enough for a Battalion!"

"They are skilled, that I'm sure you'd know. But I, too, question the amount of men fighting off against one massive Battalion." the Entity agreed.

More Dark Figures surrounded the Light Figures. Some of them were on top of the broken structures. The others were down, rushing towards the wall.

"Their objective: to force the enemy back from a civilian hospital, and keep its occupants alive."

"I guess that answers your question, Velvet," Yatsuhashi said.

"Reminds me of some old times," Qrow commented.

"How so?" asked Yang.

"Eh, you'll get missions like these when you're an official Huntsman. You'll probably have to protect some settlements or try to destroy some migrating Grimm. But that's just the gist of it." Qrow explained.

The next scene shows an explosion occurring between the firefight of the two forces. The Light-colored Bullets were flying towards their intended target. However, the Dark-colored Bullets outnumbered the Light-colored Bullets.

The students felt a bit of awe and uneasiness from the sight of bullets firing on one another.

"Holy shit, that's a lot of bullets," muttered Coco.

"I'm guessing that the Light-colored ones didn't survive?" Watts asked the Entity.

"Most of them haven't." the Entity simply answered.

"I'm beginning to think that the Dark-colored ones represent the Federation, correct?" asked Ozma, who is currently using Oscar's body.

"Yes. What you are seeing is a time when the Federation is still growing and is continuing to consume all of the settlements around Sanus."

"For three days, they held their ground,"

In another scene, it shows a light figure gunned down by the enemy force.

"But the enemy's numbers were too great."

Next, it shows a dark figure resembling a Fox Faunus shooting a Light Figure on the head.

Tyrian giggled at the sight. It may not show actual blood, but the visuals are still there for all to see.

"Hahaha, oh how I love seeing others killing one another so violently. It almost makes me wish to join on the carnage."

"Please don't, Tyrian. The last thing we need is for everyone's attention directed to you." Hazel said.

"The sixty were cut down to fifteen."

The scene showed a light figure resembling a Wolf Faunus getting shot. Liquid which resembled blood spurted out with each hit the Figure took.

"They wouldn't last another night, and the enemy knew it."

Ironwood sighed and was a bit crestfallen from the loss of the soldiers. He felt a hand on his shoulder and saw Winter looking at him with concern.

"It is bound to happen, General. The way that the Entity said made it all clear." Winter said. "But I hope these men get avenged."

Ironwood chuckled a bit.

"Thank you, Specialist Winter."

"Under the cover of darkness, they evacuated the hospital, sending only one of their own to lead the way,"

Few of the Light Figures were crawling on the ground, taking cover behind a small hill.

"The rest returned to the line and took up positions beneath the bodies of their fallen brothers."

The next scene shows a close up to one of the figures, one that looked familiar.

"Wait, why the hell am I there?!" yelled out Roman.

"You were one of the remaining soldiers that survived the attack." the Entity said.

"Never expected a criminal like you becoming a soldier," Ironwood commented.

"Eh, I never see myself as one anyway." Roman casually said as Neo nodded with him.

"You think that's surprising. Wait until you see Qrow as one." the Entity muttered, although the volume of his voice was still clear enough for everyone to hear.

"WHAT?!" Both Ironwood and Winter shot up from their seats and stared at the screen.

"I...said that out loud, haven't I?" the Entity said before pondering to their thoughts.

'I have to remember I'm no longer alone. One slip up, and I could ruin the experience.' the Entity thought as they looked towards the previous two, who calmed down and went back to their seats before resuming the world.

"As they lay in wait, the blood from the dead poured over them,"

The Figure was shown having blood on their face, cracks forming all over it.

"The sand stuck to their skin like a shroud."

The cracks continued to grow on the Figure's face.

"Changing them."

Until the cracks started shedding like dust. The wind is blowing the dust away from the Figure's face until the Figure started becoming mist.

"Anointing them."

"I doubt sand would be a good use for anointment," Yang said.

"I think it's symbolic, Yang," Blake said.

"How is that symbolic?!" Yang yelled but was silenced by Ruby as she continued to watch the world.

The next scene shows the dark figures roaming around the piles of corpses, looking for any surviving light figure.

"When the enemy drew near, the remaining fourteen rose out of the desert sand."

White mist started to form around the dark figures.

Most of the audience felt a little tense when seeing the mist started consuming the figures.

"What is that supposed to be?" Glynda said in shock and intriguement.

"The soldiers." the Entity said.

"How-" she was cut off when she thought about the bodies that were sprawling all over the area.

"They hid alongside the bodies..." Glynda said in realization. The students felt sick at hearing that the soldiers have to hide alongside their dead comrades, which is disturbing.

"They were like hunters that couldn't be seen, using stealth their enemies couldn't defend against."

A mist resembling a Cat Faunus wrapped around the dark figure's head before the figure itself crumbled with a muffled scream and their gun firing away.

"That's one way to take care of them," Blake muttered.

"Yeah," Sun agreed.

The mist struck the Fox Faunus on the neck.

"When the men ran dry of ammunition, they used their blades..."

More white mists started consuming the dark figures one by one.

"and when the blades ran dull, they used their hands."

The last Figure was struck from behind by another mist, crumbling away. The scene transitioned to the dead figures, all lined up towards a cloud of dust that is forming together.

"What...what is that?" Lionheart spoke.

"Continue watching." the Entity commanded.

"When the dust and sand had settled, only one of the enemy had survived. He was picked up in the desert wandering aimlessly, traumatized"

The mist continued to form into the symbol of the infamous group.

"He expressed warnings to others of a force so menacing and unbeatable, it could only be described as supernatural."

The symbol finished forming...

"He called them...'Ghosts'"

...before the symbol of the Ghosts started disappearing, leaving behind a dark screen.

The audience was left with utter silence as the group, now known as Ghosts, was explained.

"Ghosts..." Oobleck tested the name for a bit before smiling. "A rather dark yet fitting name for the group."

"You could say it is Grim, ey?" Yang said, causing most of the audience to groan from the pun.

"Haha, that's my girl," Tai said proudly.

The scene starts with Taiyang and Yang sitting on some rocks while Ruby was chilling on the ground, laying her head on the tree with her hands supporting her head.

"Wait, it's still continuing?" Weiss asked.

"I mean, the God-"

"The Entity," said Entity corrected Blake.

"The Entity did say we'll see a conflict of sorts."

"I said that you and many others are witnessing a tragic loss. Meaning a tragic catastrophe."

"Wait a minute, is that Patch?" Yang said.

"Oh my gosh! It is!" Ruby said in joy.

"I almost forgot to mention that the size of the island itself is a little more bigger than your world's version. Big enough for an actual city to develop." the Entity said.

"That's...good to know," Tai said, unsure of the knowledge he got about his home.

"And this really happened?" asked Yang.

"So the legend goes," replied Taiyang.

"Come on, dad. You don't honestly believe that story is true?" Ruby said while she continued to lay by the tree.

"Yeah, I do," said Taiyang. "C'mon, let's head back to the house."

Yang got up and stretched a little before following Tai. Ruby did the same, but she took a little longer, enough for Taiyang to notice that she was lagging.

"Let's go," he said, grabbing the attention of Ruby. "Shake a leg."

The trio walked up the hill. While doing so, they felt a small tremor.

"Woah," said Yang. "little tremor there."

"Heh, those things used to freak the hell out of your mother," replied Tai.

"Yeah, mom..." muttered Ruby. She had fond memories with her during her childhood and wished that she was still here.

That caused Summer to feel bad again.

"I can't believe I missed so much of your childhood," she said, directing towards Yang and Ruby.

They reacted by hugging her in comfort.

"It doesn't matter anymore. You're here with us." Yang said.

"Yeah, and I bet we could make new memories with you!" Ruby declared, making the mother of the two crying a little.

"My baby girls," she said. "You all grow up so fast."

"Erk, gross," Mercury muttered as Emerald nodded in agreement.

Another tremor occurred.

"Another one?" questioned Yang.

"We'll get a couple more of 'em before everything settles down," replied Taiyang.

The wind started speeding up a little, which didn't go unnoticed by Yang. "Wind's starting to pick up too..."

"Okay, I'm honestly getting weird vibes from this," Nora commented.

"Yeah, something feels...off," Pyrrha said.

"I don't recall an earthquake happening in Patch." Summer said.

"Me too. But I did remember when I was a kid that my ol' grandpop told me about an earthquake that happened over Ninety Years ago." Tai said.

Another Tremor, much bigger than the previous one they felt, knocked over a nearby tree.

"Uh, Dad?" said Ruby.

"Woah, that was close," Sun said.

"Let's just get to the house. Make sure nothing got damaged," said Taiyang.

The trio vaulted over the tree and increased their pace. Once the three got to the street, what the three saw is pure pandemonium. Smoke and fire coming from the houses, most of the people fled via vehicles or running while others stayed and watched the catastrophe. A massive tremor occurred.

"Dad, what's happening?!" said Yang.

"Yeah, what the hell's going on with our home?!" Yang said in shock.

"Language, young lady!" Tai scolded her daughter.

"Oh, come on! Don't tell me you're not shocked about this!"

"I am, but that doesn't mean you could swear in front of your parents." Tai felt a tugging on his shoulder and saw Summer doing it.

"Come on, Tai," Summer said. "She's old enough to say stuff like that. Although I don't like hearing it from her, she's a grown woman now."

Tai shuddered a little under Summer's gaze before sighing in defeat.

"Fine," Tai accepted. "But I won't like it."

"ODIN! It's ODIN! To the house, girls! Now!" yelled Taiyang.

The girls looked at each other for a brief moment before running after their father.

"ODIN? What is that?" Blake asked.

"I have no idea," Weiss said.

As they continued to run, a truck nearly runs Taiyang over.

"Careful!" yelled Yang.

"Jeez, dad. Realy?"Yang said, criticizing her father's lack of safety.

"What? The whole place is experiencing an earthquake, and you're worried about traffic safety?" Tai said.

"Well, you nearly got ran over. So, yeah." Ruby pointed out, causing the father to look back at the screen.

A random civilian watched as the fire began to spread towards the other houses.

"Holy crap, I didn't know there's an earthquake happening now!"

Taiyang overheard the civilian and said to him. "It's not an earthquake!"

"What? Okay, now I'm confused." Neptune said.

"Okay, so it's not an earthquake? What the hell is it then?!" Sun said in frustration.

"Yeah, I'm also frustrated now." Scarlet sighed as he leaned back to his chair.

"What are you talking about?!" yelled Yang.

"You girls get to the house and stay there! I'm going for the truck!" said Taiyang.

"But dad-"

"Just do it, my little firecracker!" yelled Tai before he could let Yang say anything else. Yang turned towards Ruby.

"C'mon, Rubes!" said Yang.

On their way, the two sisters sprinted up a hill. While doing so, they're both questioning what is going on.

"Fuck, what the hell is going on?!" yelled Yang.

"I wish I know, Yang!" replied Ruby.

"Same here," Ruby said.

They continued to run until they reached a ledge that leads to their house.

"This way, Ruby! Climb over!" said Yang.

They climbed over a ledge and sprinted to the door. Yang was able to reach the entrance, but Ruby stumbled by another tremor.

"Ruby!" yelled Yang.

Ruby felt that she is enveloped by something or someone. That someone was her mother. She wanted to say something but relented on her mother hugging her. Yang joined in on the hug as well, since her sisterly instincts tell her to protect her sibling at all costs. After a few minutes, they eventually let go of each other.

Ruby was able to get up and made a full sprint towards the door, where her sister pulled her in. As soon as they were in the house, they stopped to take a breath and think about the situation. Yang began pacing around a little.

"What the hell was dad talking about?! What's ODIN?!" said Yang while she was panicking slightly.

"Yeah, I'm starting to realize that this version of Dad is not telling us something," Yang said as she looked towards her father.

"It...could probably be something to do with the earthquake occurring," Tai suggested.

"How could you be sure, Tai?" Qrow asked.

"I don't know. It's a hunch I'm feeling." Tai said.

Before Ruby could answer, another tremor occurred. The tremor knocked down several paintings, vases, and even ornaments.

"Come on," said Yang.

As they reached the front door of their house, the structure of the house started collapsing, resulting in debris to collapse on top of the two, almost crushing Ruby in the process.

At this point, almost the whole Xiao-Long family freaked out.

"RUBY!" Tai, Yang, and Summer screamed.

Qrow spat and nearly dropped his flask.

"OTHER ME!" Ruby yelled.

Ruby's friends had a similar reaction.

Jaune, Pyrrha, and Nora called for Ruby's name as Ren is currently getting crushed by Nora during her little freak-out.

On Salem's side, it was a completely different story.

Cinder smiled sadistically at the sight of her most hated foe getting crushed by her own home but frowned when said foe barely survived.

Tyrian laughed, seeing the Silvered-Eye girl and her annoying sister getting what they deserved for disrupting his Queen, Salem's, plans.

Hazel and Watts didn't react. They simply watched the spectacle.

Ruby was able to crawl out of the debris. Yang's hand reached out to her, which she gratefully took.

The Xiao-Long family laid back to their seats, all sighing in relief.

"Phew, that was close. Thanks for the help, Yang." Ruby said.

"No probs, Rubes. Always there to give a helping hand." Yang responded as she was playing with her mechanical arm. Tai chuckled a little from the pun while most of the audience once again groaned.

"Come on! You guys are all critics!" Yang let out a huff before adjusting back to her seat.

"This place isn't going to take much more of that. We're not gonna die here! Come on!" said Yang.

Yang got to the front door and tried barging it.

"It's jammed!" said Yang.

Yang turned towards Ruby, who was right behind her.

"You mind helping me out?" asked Yang.

Ruby responded by leaning on the door. Yang grinned and adjusted herself to the door.

"Alright!" said Yang.

"Three, two, one, PUSH!"

They thrust the door open as the screen slowly fades to white.

"W-what happened?" Ruby asked.

"It's over?! You gotta be kidding me!" Yang shouted.

"Far from it, Xiao-Long. Far from it." the Entity said.

15 Minutes Earlier

"Wait, what's going on?" Oscar asked.

"You're about to see the cause of the destruction of Patch, among many other places." The Xiao-Long family, alongside the rest of the audience, began feeling wary as the Entity continued showing them the cause of the destruction.

A scene begins with a scenery of millions of stars twinkling.

The audience became confused from the sight of the 'night sky.'

"Alright, I'm even more confused right now." Neptune slumped on his seat.

"Not the only one, Boy." Vernal clutched her head a little.

"Wait, how come it's nighttime, but the screen said 'Fifteen minutes earlier?'" Nora questioned.

The camera pans down to a space station called ODIN, outside of Remnant's atmosphere.

The audience became silent from the spectacle they're seeing. There, on the screen, is Remnant, in all of its glory.

"Is that...what Remnant looks like?" Ruby asked in awe.

"It looks beautiful," Jaune commented.

"Oh, how I wish our technology is capable of such feet," Ironwood said, commenting about the space station that is currently orbiting over the planet.

"We already have the technology, James. The problem is the fuel source." Pietro said. "But judging from what the Entity had said, it is safe to say we could use a different approach."

Two astronauts were spectating one of ODIN's stations, watching one of the kinetic rods getting launched into the sea.

"ODIN Control, the orbital weapon's got a successful test-fire ping."

"Hold up, is that Pyrrha?" Nora asked in even more shock.

"Yeah, what is she even wearing?" Coco asked.

"Those are Spacesuits; designed for protecting its wearer from the dangers of space. Such as No Oxygen, Space Radiation, and many more." the Entity said.

With the Atlesians, they became skeptical upon hearing the words 'Orbital Weapon.'

"What does Miss Nikos mean by Orbital Weapon?" Ironwood asked.

"Unsure, sir. I have a strange feeling that something horrible will happen." Winter said.

"Penny, could you write down anything that piques any interest?" Ironwood asked.

"Already have, sir," Penny said as she saluted.

"Roger, Nikos. Tracking weapon dry-fire signal." said a Control Officer of ODIN.

"Hey Arc, here's our ride. Let's head in," said Pyrrha.

"Roger," said Jaune.

"Jaune's in it too?!" Saphron was shocked to see her baby brother in outer space.

"Jan!" Adrian cried out, making some of the girls gush over the child.

"That's right, Adrain. That is Jaune." Terra said.

"ODIN Control. We're heading back to debrief the new crew," said Pyrrha.

"Roger. We're prepping airlock C. Shuttle is in the final docking sequence," replied the Control Officer.

As they float towards one of the airlocks, the Control Officer was instructing the new members of the Daedalus Shuttle to land in the designated spot.

"Specialist Nikos, Specialist Arc, Airlock C is ready for arrival." said the Control Officer.

One of the doors to the station opened for the duo. Once they reached the inside of an airlock, Pyrrha went to one of the terminals while Jaune stood beside her.

"Pressurizing airlock," said Pyrrha.

The airlock started pressurizing, preventing any damage to its integrity. Moving the visor up, Pyrrha looked straight at Jaune with a smile, which he returned the gesture.

"Gods, I'm really looking forward to going home. What's it been? Three months?" asked Pyrrha, half-jokingly, and half-questioned.

"Could've sworn it was four," replied Jaune.

Pyrrha chuckled before reaching to the entrance and opening it. They continued to float until they've entered one of the modules, containing several operators for the space station.

"Wow, quite a mix bag, ain't it?" Sun was impressed seeing a lot of people that were in outer space. Especially, when he saw Faunus alongside Humans.

"Do tell," Neptune said in equal impression.

One of the operators was waiting for them near the modules.

"Hey, Jaune. Give me a hand with the unload." said a Deer Faunus, who was referring to the newcomers.

"Unload?" Pyrrha asked.

"He meant the new astronauts." the Entity said.

Suddenly, astronauts in brown suits break into the room with guns in their hands. One of them raised their weapons and fired on the Deer Faunus.

Most of the audience was immediately caught off guard and shocked by the display.

"Okay, I did not see that coming!" Sun said.

"Why the heck are they shooting them?!" yelled out Ruby.

Pyrrha shoved Jaune out of the way and shut the door, leaving the remaining survivor to be gunned down by the soldiers.

Pyrrha's jaw hung from what her other self did.

"Why did my other self do that?" Pyrrha muttered.

"It is probably to keep the attackers at bay," Ren said.

"Still, it feels wrong to just leave them there for dead."

"It's probably for the best, Pyr," Jaune said.

"We have enemies on ODIN Control!" yelled one of the officers through the radio.

"ODIN Main, repeat Contact!" said a Glenn Operator.

"Glenn, repeat, they were on the shuttle! We have an Enemy foothold on ODIN Control!" yelled an ODIN Officer.

"So it was a hijack?!" Ironwood dreaded.

"Most definitely," Penny confirmed.

"Jeez, talk about lack of security. Am I right?" Qrow said.

"Come on, Jaune! This way! We need to move it!" yelled out Pyrrha, while she opened the hatch to another tunnel. Jaune followed her down the tunnel.

"Galley to ODIN Control! We are taking fire!" yelled an ODIN Astronaut through the radio.

The two made their way through the tunnel. Pyrrha scouted ahead while Jaune followed behind. Suddenly, one of the soldiers that separated from his group ambushed the duo. Pyrrha was able to disarm him for a moment until she realizes where the soldier is heading.

"Jaune, look out!" shouted Pyrrha.

"Oh no!" cried out Ruby, Saphron, and a few others.

Jaune was able to grab hold of the weapon, but the soldier was already on him. The two started fighting over it. Jaune was struggling to aim at him while the soldier tried wrenching the gun off him.

"Come on, Vomit Boy! Fight 'em!" Yang yelled.

"You could do it, Jaune!." Pyrrha supported.

"Come on, other me. Fight back." Jaune muttered anxiously.

Jaune gained the upper hand in tackling the soldier. The barrel of the gun inch towards the soldier's face with every second pass while shooting sporadically. Until Jaune aimed the weapon on the soldier's head, killing him instantly, not before stealing a glance at the symbol on his arm, signifying who and what the soldier is.

"It's the Federation! They've broken the truce!" yelled out Jaune.

At this point, realization kicked in within the audience.

"Bloody hell..." Vernal muttered.

"That's why they hijacked the station. To use the Space Weapons against...us..." Ironwood's cybernetic hand shooked.

Jacque felt intrigued by the station but was equally frightened at the thought of the machine turning against him and the SDC. Whitley was indifferent to Jacque's reaction.

Willow stopped her drinking as she watched in horror by the realization.

Salem's group was curious about how much damage the satellite can do.

"ODIN Control! ODIN's kinetic rods are readying for launch! This is not a simulation!" warned the Glenn Operator.

"We can't let them take control of ODIN!" responded Pyrrha.

"ODIN Control! Federation forces are in Aft Crew Module!" said an ODIN Astronaut through radio.

The two entered a compartment, where Federation soldiers slaughtered the operators.

Jaune's hand formed a fist, and he started gritting his teeth. He felt a hand on his arm and saw Pyrrha looking at him with concern.

Pyrrha took cover behind the crates while took down two Federation soldiers in quick succession. Another soldier appeared and fired at Jaune, but he was fast enough to shoot the soldier.

"Yeah, you go get 'em, Jaune!" Ruby cheered.

"Yeah, break their legs!" Nora joined on cheering.

"We're clear..." Jaune said, as Pyrrha took one of the weapons off the soldier.

"Smart move," Oobleck said.

"Yeah, rather be armed than have nothing," Port added.

The two continued floating down the corridor until they heard another alert from the Glenn Operator.

"ODIN payload one uploading." the Glenn Operator reminded.

"Targeting. Beacon, locked."

Those that were from Beacon began to worry as the satellites were targeting their school.

"Hmm, I have a question," Watts asked. "How destructive does the satellites create?"

"Enough to destroy a portion of a city." the Entity replied.

"Wait, why is Beacon targeted even if it's a school for Huntsmen and Huntresses?" Ruby asked.

"Remember when I told you that Grimm does not exist in this world?"

"Yeah, I think so."

"Well, the schools for Huntsmen-in-training are instead cities."

"Meaning that the Federation are targetting cities that pose a major threat," Weiss concluded.

"Correct," the Entity replied.

"Signal, locked."

"Not Signal..." Yang and Ruby felt like they were about to cry.

"Emerald City, locked. Targeting...Glenn, locked."

"Ah, I see that Glenn was built," Ozma said.

"Indeed. Without the Grimm destroying the city, the people in it thrived and continued to expand." the Entity said.

"That's...honestly relieving," Roman said, giving off a sad smile but frowned when he realized that the satellite was targeting the city.

"Targeting Pharos, locked. Estimated casualties..."

"Oh shit! ODIN's firing!" yelled out Pyrrha.

"Over 27 million..." the Glenn Operator finished.

Most of the audience was shocked, once again, by the number of possible deaths made by the ODIN Satellite.

"Damn..." Mercury genuinely felt shocked to hear that many casualties.

"That many people..." Glynda couldn't find words to express how deeply lost she is.

"Those two better stop the Satellites. Otherwise, we'll all be doomed." Ironwood said.

Jaune and Pyrrha look through a window. The ODIN satellite was seen firing kinetic rods at various places in Vale and Mistral.

"They're uploading more targets to payloads two, three, and four. Glenn! What do we do?!" yelled out Pyrrha.

"Come on, Glenn. Think of something," Pyrrha hoped to hear a good plan from the Glenn Operator.

There was a short pause before the Operator answered Pyrrha's question.

"ODIN Control, we have no choice. We're scuttling the station. I'm sorry, Arc and Nikos. I'm sorry..."

"They're gonna destroy the station with us in it?!" Jaune yelled.

"I...can't believe it." Pyrrha exasperated.

"There must be a way to survive through it, right?" Oscar, who is currently taking control of his body, said.

"Copy Glenn. Arc, we need to move!" Pyrrha leads herself and Jaune to another room in front of them.

"Initiating in 10 seconds. All crew, get to a secure area!" the Glenn Operator alerted the remaining members of ODIN. Both Pyrrha and Jaune made it to the other room. Pyrrha immediately shuts the backdoor as she floats in front of Jaune.

"Storage is reinforced! Stay with me!" said Pyrrha.

"Got it." Jaune followed.

"Station Detonation in three, two, one."

Most of the students sighed in relief.

"Damn, that was close," Qrow said.

"Do tell," Oobleck said.

The other door suddenly opened, revealing three Federation soldiers, who were approaching the two.

"Watch out!"

Qrow sighed as he look to see most of the student body, along with some of the adults, glaring at him.

"Fuck my Semblance..." Qrow muttered.

Jaune was about to shoot at the soldiers until a massive explosion knocked him and Pyrrha back and incinerated the soldiers. The explosion also caused the station to break open, sucking the two into outer space.

"ODIN Control?"

The two continued to move throughout the now destroyed station, occasionally hitting some debris. Until they hit a satellite panel, causing the two to tumble and stop on one of the debris.

"ODIN Control! Are you copying?!" The Operator repeated.

"Glenn, it's Nikos. Arc and I are still here." Pyrrha, alongside Jaune, started examining the damage caused by the explosion.

"Holy shit," she muttered.

"Copy, Nikos. ODIN Targeting on payloads three and four have been aborted. But payload two is still sequencing." the Operator said as Jaune and Pyrrha traverse through the wreck, occasionally shooting at any poor Federation soldier that were still alive and literally kicking.

"Damn, cold as much, Arc?" Coco said.

"Better than keeping them alive and let them sabotage us," Jaune replied.

"Targeting locked. Haven, Kuroyuri, Argus City, Mantle, Atlas."

Now it was the Atlesians and Mistralians that are worrying more.

"Oh, no..." Lionheart cringed a bit.

"Come on, you two. You could do this." Pietro cheered them on.

"We're not done, Arc. Let's move to ODIN and bring it down."

She stopped as she looked at Jaune. Expression changed from one of determination to sadness.

"I don't think we're making it home, Jaune."

From the comment, most of the people that knew the two started worrying.

"They're not saying that they...they..."

"They might die," Weiss said before Ruby could finish.

Off to the side was Saphron and Terra, all having concerned looks on their faces.

Jaune gave a somber smile towards Pyrrha.

"I know. But we have a job to do." Jaune reassured Pyrrha.

New-found vigor surged within Pyrrha. Her face showed determination once more.

"Your right, Jaune. Thank you."

Pyrrha chuckled lightly from Jaune's response.

"Even in the face of danger, he still gives hope to others," Pyrrha said with a bit of blush.

"Yeah, that's our Jaune," Ruby said, making the blonde knight blush.

"Aw, guys," Jaune rubbed the back of his head a little. "Thanks."

"Nav-Main, how many degrees off-axis to destabilize it?" Pyrrha questioned.

"Twenty-three degrees port or aft, but remote RCS systems not responding." the Glenn Operator said.

"Twenty-three degrees. We'll dump that tub in the ocean," said Pyrrha.

The students began cheering for the two as they continued to watch it all unfold.

Jaune and Pyrrha eventually reached the top area of the satellite, where the fuel lines of the satellite were covered by a casing.

"Help me get this open," Pyrrha said, as she pulled down a lever of the casing.

Jaune made it to the other part of the casing and did the same. The two then pry the cover off the fuel line.

"Cover's off, Glenn," said Pyrrha.

"Ignite those R.C.S. fuel lines!" said the Operator.

"You heard him, Arc! Fire!" Pyrrha commanded.

"Do it!" Jaune said.

"Shoot the thing!" Ruby yelled.

"You could do it, Pyrrha and Jaune!" most of the people began cheering. Even Pyrrha and Jaune cheered for their other-selves.

Jaune and Pyrrha shoot at the fuel lines. An explosion goes off, knocking them away.

"Fuck!" shouted Jaune.

"Shit!" Pyrrha yelled as she grabbed hold of a cable and managed to hold on to Jaune.

"That was close," Jaune said mid-cheer.

"I got you, Jaune! Just keep shooting!" yelled out Pyrrha.

Swaying a little, Jaune continues to shoot at the fuel lines. It soon exploded, destroying the ODIN satellite. But at the cost of Jaune and Pyrrha's lives. Their helmets shattered, revealing them to the emptiness of space.

Silence filled the theatre as the people watched the two died in their attempt to destroy the Satellite.

"Jaune..." Ruby covered her mouth as she started crying.

"Shit..." Jaune muttered in disbelief.

"No...no..." Pyrrha shook her head.

Some that did care for Jaune and Pyrrha started crying. Saphron and Terra cried silently to themselves as Adrian was trying to comfort them.

"Fifteen degrees...Twenty-three degrees...That's it! That's enough to drop it into the atmosphere!" the Operator said. No response was made from the two people.

"Specialist Nikos? Arc?!" he started yelling before sighing as the realization hit him.

"We have L.O.S. with the crew of ODIN Control. Repeat. Loss Of Signal with ODIN Control."

As the ODIN satellite descended into the atmosphere, Jaune and Pyrrha fall with it. The two began incinerating from the sheer speed. As they fell through the atmosphere, the screen slowly faded to white once more.

"It's...over?" Ruby said as she wiped the tears off her cheeks.

"Almost. We're still not yet done with the viewing." the Entity said.

"Three, two, one, PUSH!"

The screen fades back in as Yang and Ruby exit the house. As Yang lands, a kinetic rod hits the ground some distance away. The resulting shockwave destroys and cracks the surrounding landscape.

"Oh damn, I almost forgot about this," Yang said.

"Yeah, I guess Jaune and Pyrrha's death made us forgot a little," Ruby said, albeit in a defeated tone.

"Yeah," Yang said as the two deaths were still fresh in her mind.

"Come on! Dad said he was going for the truck! We have to find him!" Yang yelled out.

Chaos surrounded the girls as debris, destruction, and explosions all happened at once. The two continued sprinting across the falling pavements.

"Get across! Quick!"

"Holy shit, how are they this lucky?" Vernal said.

"Honestly, I don't even know at this point," Sienna said.

"Keep running. We can get through this!" said Yang.

"Where do we go next?!" yelled out Ruby.

A semi-destroyed house slides into their way.

"Through that house!" Yang pointed.

They run upstairs. The only way out is to jump onto the next roof.

"Crap, what now?!" Ruby started panicking.

Yang looked at Ruby before looking back at the roof. She took a few steps back.

"We gotta jump!" she yelled before jumping onto the tiled roof. Ruby also took a few steps back before jumping onto the roof. But the structure collapsed as Ruby landed on it, making both sisters fall through it.

"Oh no," motherly instincts kicked in as Summer began to hold onto Ruby and hugged her tightly.

"Mom, I'm fine!" Ruby said as she struggled to get out of her mother's grip.

Ruby felt her entire body hurting, but she pushed through the pain and stood up. As she did, she saw Yang standing up as well and limping a little towards the windows. Ruby followed suit.

"You girls will surely give me a heart attack if this keeps up," Tai said.

"We're not that bad," Yang pouted.

As they ran, a house started sliding down from the tremor. The two took this as an opportunity to run through it and find another exit.

"Run upstairs! We have to get above ground!" Yang said.

She started running up the stairs towards a blocked path. She bashes through it as the strong winds from the explosion picked it up.

"Just keep running!" she said before stopping to see a tanker barreling up towards them.

"Look out!"

Yang ran towards Ruby and tackled her down before the tanker and shockwave of the explosion knocked her out.

"A-are they alright?" Oscar asked.

"Wait, the screen's coming up." Qrow pointed towards the screen.

Ruby slowly opened her eyes as her vision began to return. Although she couldn't hear properly, she could see Yang covered in grime and dirt, as she was shaking her body.

"Ruby!" Yang's voice was muffled and distorted.

"Yang?! Ruby?! You alright?!" Ruby barely heard her father calling out to them.

"Dad?! We're okay!" said Yang.

"Get in the truck, girls!" said Tai.

"Come on, Rubes." Yang started pulling her sister up. Ruby's vision blacked out before returning once again. She could see her father running towards her and helping her to the truck.

"Get her in the truck! Get her in now! We got to get out of here!"

He turned towards Ruby's face.

"You're gonna be alright, my Crescent Rose."

Ruby's vision blacked out once again as she heard her father's voice one last time.

"Hold on, girls!"

The scene ends with the truck driving off, away from the chaos. The scene pans up, showing an overview of the destruction of Patch. Multiple rods hit the hills of the island. A title card slowly appeared on the screen:

GHOSTS

Before the screen slowly fade to black.

The symbol of the Entity reappeared on the screen.

"So," the Entity said. "How was your first experience watching your alternate selves?"

Ruby was hesitant in answering. Luckily, her sister was there to answer for her.

"Well, I wanna say awesome if it weren't for my home island getting destroyed." Yang crossed her arms as she looked towards the Entity.

"Ah, I see," the Entity acknowledged.

"At least those death machines are gone now," Neptune said.

"Not...quite,"

"Aw, we're gonna see those things again?!" Sun throw his hands up as he complained.

"In due time, Wukong. In due time," the Entity said. "Now, we will continue watching this world. If you have to use the restroom, I suggest using it now. It is in the back of the theatre. You won't miss it."

(A/N: I wanna thank you all for reading this book I've made. I honestly am glad to publish this rather than keep it for later. But now my upload schedule would take at least a week or two to finish a chapter. Not to mention school and all. Wish me luck and all. V 0-1 out.)
