-Chapter 77-1 long night-

-Rachel pov-

The last day getting ready for Christmas has been crazy. We've finished wrapping gifts and keeping Beth occupied. Thing is we had to keep her enter somehow...so we left her with Britt and Lucy.

Now we have three blondes going crazy. Who ever let them know where the candy was is stupid! The three of them having candy is bad! I didn't really know Lucy did this but jeez!

Brittany is currently running around, Lucy is watching the off television and laughing, and Beth is losing it. She switches from happy to sad immediately. It's like she has a sugar bipolar thing!

"Alright" I look over at a crazy haired Judy "Who told them where the candy was?!"

"I didn't know this would happen!" Alex sighs as she finally gets Brittany contained "This honestly can't last long can it? It's only just hitting dinner"

-Time skip-Alex pov-

The house looks like a war zone. Dinner was chaotic and the girls have barely sat still. Brittany is shaking like a psycho and Lucy keeps scratching her arm now.

Beth finally went to bed after dinner. Now we have to get these two figured out. The sugar should've worn off by now. You know I haven't seen Angela in a bit either.

I walk to the back room and see the candy bag. I pick it up and start to leave but stop. I turn and see a green leaf bag. I walk over and pick it up and sigh.

I walk back out and look around. I see Angela sitting beside a table in the hall. I walk over to her and sit beside her. She doesn't look at me.

"So Wanna explain the bag?" I hold it out to her and she shakes her head "Where did it come from?"

"I thought i had thrown it out" Angela sighs "They found it and before I could stop them..they ate them all"

"What about Beth?" She shakes her head no "So you've been here all day?"

"Yeah" Her stomach grumbles "I'll be fine"

"Get up" I stand and look at her "We are making you dinner"

She reluctantly gets up and follows me. I heat up leftovers and give them to her. She eats silently as I stand across the table. After she's done eating we go to the living room.

"They are high" Everyone looks at Angela and I sigh "I though I had thrown out the bag...when they got to it I couldn't stop them..Beth didn't have any"

"Why didn't you tell us sooner?" Maribel looks at Angela a little upset and confused "It's information that would've been helpful"

"I didn't wanna get kicked out" Tears start to fall down her face "I'm so sorry..I can go pack my things"

"If you're getting kicked out than so am I" I see confused eyes on me "She made a mistake! If we kick her out for that then I need kicked out for my cocaine"

"We aren't kicking anyone out!" We all look at Shelby "We just wish we could've learned that sooner"

"We can stay up with them till the high goes down" Judy looks at Lucy who is bouncing to a imaginary song "What you bouncing to?"

Lucy smiles and stands up wobbling.

-Lucy singing-

You told me I was lucky,

To have my chance with you.

Now last year's summer romance,

Is this year's winter blues.

I treated you so nicely,

To jewelry, and champagne,

But you left me empty handed,

Yeah, you left me feeling

Play-ay-ayed

Now I hope you're happy with yourself,

'Cause I'm not laughing

Don't you think it's kind of crappy

What you did this holiday?

When I gave you my heart,

You ripped it apart

Like wrapping paper trash

So I wrote you a song,

Hope that you sing along

And it goes,

"Merry Christmas, kiss my ass!"

They say I'm losing my mind,

I thought that for a while,

I tear down decorations

They remind me of your smile.

I hate that mistletoe,

It makes me think of our first kiss,

You bit my lip, you pulled me close,

And then you taught me how to quit.

Now I hope you're happy with yourself,

'Cause I'm not laughing

Don't you think it's kind of crappy

What you did this holiday?

When I gave you my heart,

You ripped it apart

Like wrapping paper trash.

So I wrote you a song,

Hope that you sing along,

And it goes,

"Merry Christmas, kiss my ass"

So sick of calling,

You won't telephone me,

No, fuck you girl, I'm going out.

I gave you my all,

But our love hit a wall, now,

I'm jingle belling,

And everyone's yelling,

We'll drink 'til the bars shut us down.

Ain't that just what Christmas is all about?

And I hope, hope you're happy with yourself,

'Cause I'm not laughing, (not laughing)

Don't you think it's so damn trashy

What you did this holiday?

(So trashy)

I gave you my heart, (heart)

You ripped it apart

Like the wrapping paper trash (wrapping paper trash)

So I wrote you a song,

Hope that you sing along,

Here it goes,

"Merry Christmas, (bitch), kiss my ass."

Judy looks ready to faint. We all are trying not to laugh at how serious Lucy looks. Shelby is the first to crack followed by me. Soon everyone is laughing minus Judy and Lucy.

"Hey!" Lucy pouts and stomps "I sang beautifully!"

"I can sing too" Brittany lays down "I got a good one!"

-Brittany singing-

One, two, three, four

Grandma got run over by a reindeer

Walking home from our house Christmas eve

You can say there's no such thing as Santa

But as for me and Grandpa, we believe

She'd been drinkin' too much egg nog

And we'd begged her not to go

(Don't go, grandma)

But she'd forgot her medication

So she stumbled out the door into the snow

When they found her Christmas mornin'

At the scene of the attack

(Let me tell you something)

She had hoof prints on her forehead

And incriminatin' Claus marks on her back

Two, three

Grandma got run over by a reindeer

Walkin' home from our house Christmas eve

You can say there's no such thing as Santa

But as for me and Grandpa, we believe

Now were all so proud of Grandpa

He's been takin' this so well

See him in there watchin' football

(Hallelujah)

Playin' cards and drinkin' beer with cousin Mel

And it's not Christmas without Grandma

All the family's dressed in black

(Amazing grace)

And we just can't help but wonder

Should we open up her gifts or send them back?

(send them back?)

Grandma got run over by a reindeer

Walkin' home from our house Christmas eve

You can say there's no such thing as Santa

But as for me and Grandpa, we believe

Now the goose is on the table

And the pudding made of fig

And a blue and silver candles

That would just have matched the hair in Grandma's wig

I've warned all my friends and neighbors

Better watch out for yourselves

(Sing it right)

They should never give a license, no

To a man who drives a sleigh and plays with elves

And that's why grandma got run over by a reindeer

Walkin' home from our house Christmas eve

You can say there's no such thing as Santa

But as for me and Grandpa, we believe!

But as for me and Grandpa, we believe!

Yes, as for me and Grandpa, we believe!

We lose it all over again. This time Judy joins and so does Lucy. We all stop after a bit and focus on getting them ready for bed. Tomorrow is going to be a long Christmas Day.

We get the girls changed and up in bed. We move the presents under the tree and clean up. We sit down and take a deep breath. Today has been a long day. I just need to sleep.

"We should probably go to bed" We all nod but slump together "This will hurt in the morning"

"Yes it will" I cuddle into Shelby "But honestly I don't really wanna move"

"Who's gonna eat the cookies?" We all point at Judy and she groans "I shouldn't have asked"

We laugh and she grabs the plate. Soon we are all falling asleep on the couch. Here's to a better Christmas Day.
