Parth Galen

Oh have you been to Parth Galein

Where Frodo slipped away?

Where the company in sorrow

Let Boromir drift away?

On that place on peaceful Shore

A Battle had begun, Orcs attacking

Frodo a choice to be making

What hobbit would not run?

As Pippin and Merry Stolen

Boromir' horn sounded

Black arrows silence the sound

The Man of Gondor on the ground

Aragorn The Ranger found his spirit grounded

The Elf and the Dwarf came finally 'round

To nothing but grief's beginning

Boromir's last words

An echo of swords

The scene so ripe for weeping

Thanks be toEru for the Ranger's

Good skill, his eyes upon the ground

Between Hobbit track and missing pack

They now knew where each were bound

A mourning boat released to Aunduin

With horn and arrow trophies

Good man of Gondor

They weep for…

Soon perhaps his kin may see…

Then heavy of heart, three tun away to take up the chase…

The Ringbearer on his way

Leading his Sa, far away

Leave the three hunters the Orcs to chase

For Merry and Pippin should not be lost

To maiming peril

An Elf's good eye

A clear blue sky

With king and Dwarf's to meddle

And meddle they shall in any business

That taketh away a friend

The Elf, the King, the Dwarf

A man and Hobbits fought

That day at Parth Galein.
