Sota got to class with just enough time. Greeting his other classmates present.
In his rush to make it to his classroom on time, he entered through the backdoor since for some reason there had been a large number congregating around the front.
Seated in his own spot and looking over to where the commotion was, he was confused to find an unfamiliar crisp clean uniform along with neat and tidy hair, the sight making him question what was wrong with the situation.
As his adrenaline-addle brain reset, he came to a realization.
...Unless mistaken, which unlikely at this point, he was sure that it was Haruhi's seat, odd, why was she wearing the boy's uniform?
Though curious, Haruhi was already having to deal with a small crowd and didn't need any more prodding. The decision ultimately was taken from his hand because not so short after the teacher came in announcing what the lecture for the day would be on.
Still even as the class went on, his curiosity was burning him, he was just scraping by enough effort to pay attention and jot down notes.
The minutes seemed to go by so slowly until he was forced to clear his head and buckle down.
When the bell rung for their first break, granting him sweet relief and the possibility to sate the burning question when the "supposed" Haruhi fled out the door in a mighty hurry...
Sota sighed, he'd simply have to wait for his answers. In the meantime, he figured he could make use of his time and talk to the soccer club manager about practice that evening and what his schedule would like if he were to join the kendo team.

Meanwhile, Kagome did her best to reason with her mother that a trip to Ouran didn't necessitate, breaking out a nice furisode just to deliver lunch to her brother.
She was just going by his school, not to an Omai, and no matter how fancy or highly regarded the school, it just didn't seem like a good idea.
Honestly...from the gleam she caught in her mother's eye before bringing it up, it was more about dressing Kagome up and less about dressing to impress.
Ever since she was a little girl, her mother had enjoyed dressing her up in anything and everything. She'd always get this certain gleam in her eye if an opportunity arose, and Kagome was often one to indulge her mother's whims.
But! For this particular instance, besides the fact she would surely stick out like a sore thumb, no matter how nicely she dressed, she was also more than a thousand percent sure Sota wouldn't appreciate his big sister showing up in an old-style kimono to deliver his lunch.
While successful in deterring her mother this time around, she was unable to stop her from deciding to pack more than a dozen cookies for Sota to share amongst his teammates.
Kagome thought that Sota would be more embarrassed than anything about the whole affair, but wisely kept such thoughts to herself. Mentally she apologized to her brother on her mother's behalf and tried to be optimistic that Sota would take it well...

Meeting with his manager was a quick affair and he had enough time to drop by the kendo club to see if their captain was back. As luck would have it, he had just missed him but was reassured that his name and interest had been mentioned to the captain.
Sota again pondered who the elusive captain may be, a part of him was just shy away from outright nervous over their eventual meeting but was overall optimistic on his chances on actually making it on the team.
With his meeting with his other club manager also done and schedule roughly laid out, he was in high spirits and was able to focus the rest of the class until lunch. Only to realize he had forgotten his meal in his haste to get out the door.
He sighed, on the first tour of the school, he took on look at the price of the meals in the cafeteria and didn't look back. It was so far out of his price range it wouldn't even be funny to consider.
Sota also, unfortunately, had found not long after that the rich apparently didn't need vending machines. Which, in a general roundabout way, made sense. If most of the student population could get anything they wanted, at any moment via an attendant or money, why would there need be a vending machine?
...Damn rich people...
On a note that was amusing to ponder, he wondered if half his classmates would even know how to use a vending machine if given the opportunity to use one...
Sota moped a bit, no use crying over spilled milk. Though he did cry for his eventual aching muscles and fatigue, going without a meal and then proceeding to long hour drills for practice? Ha...yeah, he was sure in for it.
Outwardly he pouted just a smudge, head laying on his crossed arms, lost in thoughts. A few girls twittering over the cute face he was making and wondering what made his mood so. Lost in his thoughts as he was, he didn't notice when another student stepped in front of his desk until a throat was cleared.
Looking up, a bit embarrassed, he gave a smile before eyes widening just a tad before laughing.
Standing before him in the Ouran boys uniform, he could now confirm, was Haruhi...

Taking a cab, Kagome arrived to Ouran with no issue.
She realized very quickly that while she thought maybe Sota was exaggerating, he had had not been thorough enough on the ridiculous size of the campus, it was somewhat intimidating upon first glance.
Showing her i.d to the guard and her reason for entering, she made her way to the front office easily enough.
The office was large and clean, the secretary greeted her warmly, all smiles.
Kagome took a steadying breath and smiled back giving her own greetings. Stating her reason for visiting once more she was given clearance to deliver the lunch, she left a cookie with the secretary who took it with a smile and wonder and Kagome was on her way.
With the class number, a small map along with directions, she stepped out of the office wondering if she'd even be able to make it before the lunch period was over. Sota hadn't told them much of his schedule, but she still had more than a half-hour left. She had left the shrine as fast as she could considering her mother had realized he left the lunch immediately. Even with the noon traffic, she made it in a good time, now all she had to do was make the maze of hallways the school seemed to be made up of.
...Well.. there was no time like the present...so she got a move on.
She made good progress, or at least from what she could figure out of the map. She made decent time, that is until she came upon an injection of hallways that seemed to mirror the ones she had just passed giving her pause.
As she weighed over options, a few male students eyed her over, as she stood oblivious, attention focused entirely on making sense of the directions she had been given.
One of the guys was getting up the nerve to approach when someone circumvented the trio, beating them to the punch.
The sight of his face sent them fleeing with just a mild glare.
The male in question when assured that they wouldn't mess with the oblivious visitor, he cleared his throat to catch her attention.
Kagome gasped pulled from her thoughts of building A and building B and did she somehow make it to building E?
Normally she was much more on guard, how she seemed to not notice the gentleman standing before her...she was surely slacking..
Looking up she gave a pleasant smile and thought the perfect opportunity for clarification.
He beat her to the punch, before she could even question him
"Lost?"
Her cheeks heated ever so slightly, but she was honest, "Yes, dreadfully so, would you happen to know where class 1-A is ?" she asked hands clasped together papers tucked underarm.
His first impression of her, was that she looked like a doll.
Her hair was loosely half tied, mostly down flowing around her, a circle skirt ending about mid-thigh with white frilly tufted tights wrapped around slender thighs. A cotton cardigan that fit the warm weather.
She was...cute.
Taking in her wide eyes and bright smile he nodded his head in acquiesce.
"Oh! Thank you!" She said giving a bow.
Straightening up, she said "Higurashi, Kagome. Nice to meet you!"
Letting a smile curve his lips, he said, "To you as well"
