Paralyzed Ch. 4: Finale: Part 1 of 2…yes Part 1, sorry this turned out to be a little longer than anticipated, but next chapter is the end. I swear!

"I don't think I stuttered," the man in black rubbed his ear, Jiro's scream being quite loud, reminding him of his longtime best friend.

"What do you mean he's a statue," the shy rocker asked in distress, eyes almost bulging out of her skull, her body shaking all over.

"I mean that my everyday headache has decided to take a new career option in being a manakin, I honestly shouldn't be surprised since problem child always seems to end up in ludicrous situations," the teacher huffed as he rubbed the back of his head, unpleasant memories of his student's injuries flooding back to his mind.

"Is he okay, anything broken," desperation leaking out of her tone, in their brief time as a couple Kyoka had become very protective of Izuku. Kyoka always knew she could trust her boy toy, but as her superior had just adequately put he was always getting into trouble, this current case only hammering this home.

"Thankfully no, at least nothing bone wise, his mind however seems completely busted, he hasn't responded to much."

"What have you tried?"

"Shaking, pinching, yelling," the man in black listed as horrifying images came to the poor girl's mind, "Slapping, well I more or less lightly tapped his face but I digress. All Might merch, poking, plugging his nose and closing his mouth which only served to turn him purple."

"Oh my god…"

"Unfortunately, I'm not done."

"THERES MORE!?"

"Probably since I left him down stairs."

"Why would you leave him?!"

"Because All Might and Recovery Girl are overlooking him right now."

"Oh," she let out a breath of relief, laying her back against the wall of her door.

"Of course, I wouldn't leave him alone with Kaminari, Ashido, Hagakure, and Bakugo again."

"…"

"…What?"

"You enjoy torturing your students, don't you?"

"I will neither confirm nor deny, either way, you mind shedding light on your boyfriends condition?"

"Y-yeah I think that," she paused, blushing up a storm as it finally caught up to her that he called Izuku her boyfriend…twice, "U-u-uh-uh-uhhhhhhhhh, whaaaaat, pfffffft naw he's not my boyfriend," she nervously giggled, "We're just study buddies is all, you know how you are with those tests Mr. Aizawa."

"So is this how teenagers lie when they know they're caught, because I'd almost call it adorable of you to think that you can deceive me."

"I'm not deceiving-"

"Mic caught you two walking hand in hand after the cultural festival."

"THAT JERKWAD!"

"Tell me about it."

"Ugggggggh," Jiro sighed as she gripped her hair, her embarrassment over being found out was immense, her and Midoriya had agreed to keep their relationship status on the down low until they were both comfortable with being more open about it, not exactly craving the following teasings and 'oooo's' and 'awwww's' from their peers.

They thought they kept the secret well, that is until today.

"Wonderful, amazing, fan-freaking-tastic news to hear on my birthday," she pinched her forehead as she slumped to the floor, Aizawa rolled his eyes, his student's grief over the current situation and the reveal now forcing to be ni…n-n-nniiiiiiiiiii….NiC….less mean, yeah, less mean.

"Don't have a heart attack," the man in black sighed as he sat down next to her, "I made sure the walking talking speaker kept his mouth shut, torturing the students is my job anyway."

"Well at least you don't nearly impair our sense of hearing," Jiro replied as she stopped pinching her forehead, using her arms to grip her legs to her chest, resting her chin on her knees.

"Putting that on the list next."

"W-was that a joke?"

"Nope."

"Yaaaay," Jiro lowered her gaze to the tips of her shoes, "…Thank you though."

"Consider it my birthday gift to you."

"So far it's the second best one I got today."

"Number one being?"

"That's…kinda why Midoriya might be stiff as a board, from what I can tell anyway."

"Unless it was a form of poison, I don't see the connection."

"I can clarify but, could you maybe keep this secret."

"As long as I can go back to sleep, and it doesn't violate any code of conduct, my lips are sealed."

Kyoka lowered her knees as she sat up straight, taking in a long, deep breath with her nose, holding it in for a few seconds before exhaling out her mouth.

"Okay, so Earlier Today…"

Time: 10:00 am

Midoriya anxiously stood outside of the track filed, his back against a chain link fence that surrounded the area so's that nobody could get in any secret quirk training or mischievous activities without an approved formal request. The quirk inheritor was honestly both excited and nervous for a day like today, on one hand he got to show the girl that he cared about how special she was to him on her special day. On the other hand, getting her the perfect gift proved a little challenging, he knew her interests quite well so picking one out wasn't exactly difficult just proved to in his own head lack the exact impact that he was going for.

After what felt like a millennium of thinking and going over options, he had a brilliant idea, an expensive one that he felt bad about requesting from All Might, but the former number one hero didn't mind helping out his surrogate son on a matter of the heart. Informing the skeleton-like man of his secret relationship was a tad bit embarrassing, but well…it was All Might, and trying to get the gift for his Kyoka and keeping his affection private proved to be a bad combo, but he got the gif either way.

The gift currently contained inside the small box, gripped between his hands, the box had been wrapped in Deep Dope wrapping paper, Jiro wasn't exactly the same level of fan for the band that Izuku was of All Might but he felt that she would appreciate him going the extra mile. He began walking away from the track field, deciding to surprise her instead of making her walk all the way to the track field, plus it gave him time to practice the grandeur of giving her a gift.

This, of course, causing him to mutter like crazy.

"Okay Deku ooooookay well you could just jump out and surprise her with the box but no that is a bad move because Kyoka get's easily scared if that horror movie was any indication but I was no worse for wear since I nearly jumped off the balcony by accident. Oh how about I just get down on one knee and wait no she could pass out and think I was going to propose and I think the amount of blood rushing to our heads could make us pass out on the steps of the dorms. Wait no I could just slide in all smooth and make a joke but also I'm not exactly the smooth type in any sense of the word."

While being lost in thought he didn't realize he was now outside the 1-A dorms, stopping a tree with a large amount of shade under it, the summer heat getting to him a little bit during his walk, still as he could be (for now) as he continued to go over ways he could present the shy rocker the gift, much to the dismay of many passerby's and relaxing students just trying to enjoy the quiet peace of the morning and the beauty of nature, making most of them just shrug and begrudgingly walk away from the area. This spawning much confusion in Jiro, as she slowly descended the steps of the dorm entrance, "Okay, jeez where's the fire, is Mineta trying to get chicks again or has Hound Dog had too much to drin-"

The purple haired rocker stopped advancing through the exiting extras, all of them progressively thinning out more and more, allowing her to see the subject of their aggravation, causing her to smirk and roll her eyes. When the last of the crowd finally left the area, Kyoka advanced toward her boyfriend, hands placed in her pockets.

"I'll give you this," she raised her voiced, causing him to lose focus and see that he was, indeed, a citizen of the place called reality, making him blush from the fact that he drove people off, and how beautiful Jiro looked to him even if she was just wearing her casual day to day, "You really know how to clear a place out."

"W-w-well, you know me, just full of surprises," he rubbed the back of his head bashfully.

"I'll say," she giggled, finally standing right in front of him, "What gives, thought you wanted to meet at the track?"

"I did, but I didn't think it was right for you to walk all the way over there on your birthday."

"It wouldn't have been that big of a deal, besides that would've been more secluded, or private if you will," she quipped whispering in his ear, causing his blush to burn brighter.

"I j-j-just was thinking of you, I didn't want you to go too far and possibly extenuate yourself on your birthday…even though it's not that far and you probably wouldn't have tripped or anything but I wouldn't deny a private moment with you if that's what you wanted a-a-and ."

"I believe you've lost the point," she smiled at him, her gaze going from his face to the small box in his hand, "Now what's that?"

"O-oh right, that's why I asked you to come," Midoriya snapped out of it, as he extended his hand and the box to her, wearing a bright (albeit nervous) smile, this caused the tables to turn as she grew her own bright red complexion, the act warming her heart, "Happy Birthday Kyoka."

"Well, aren't you sweet," she said as she took the box from his grip, trying to not get choked up, an odd habit she formed while sticking around the green bean.

"I-I-I hope you like it."

"I bet I will," she replied, unwrapping the paper over the box, piece by piece as she noted the adorable detail of the paper he picked out, the box had no weight to it, confusing her a little, "Pretty light," she commented as she got the paper off, "Ya know from the size of the box I thought you got me an All Might shaped locket or some…thing," mid-way through her quip, she took the top off of the box, finally able to see the contents, which very much surprised her in every way possible.

Her eyes grew wide, mouth agape as the lid dropped from her other hand to the grass below, the world around her almost faded. Jiro's heart rate skyrocketed, as her face warmed up even more, using her free hand to take the gift out of the box, holding them up continuing to stare at the two tiny rectangular slips of paper, reading off a date set in the next three months, seating numbers, and the real indicator the words Deep Dope written at the top.

"D-D-D-D-D-D-D-Deeeep DDDDD-D-D-Dooooppppe tickets," she gasped for breath as her lower lip quivered, barely able to speak actual cohesive words, her pupils near completely dilated and almost foamed at the mouth; like the holy grail had fallen into the cusp of her quite tight grip.

Despite her parent's being well known in the music industry and having some pretty impressive connections and peers, Kyoka was never able to see her favorite band in person. Yes, she could've bought some tickets but with their growing popularity always came the sold out shows no matter how many times you waited on their website, fans swarmed available tickets like piranhas would swarm a cooked steak dropped in the water. This metaphorical white whale for the earphone jack girl was one she sought after so much that it almost broke her spirit, thinking she would never get to see her all time favorite band in person, hence her currently short circuiting mind.

"S-surprise," he chuckled a little her adorable reaction, realizing this is how he must look when he saw All Might…well anything.

"H-h-h-h-h-hhoooooowwww d-d-did you?"

"I uh, well I, had to pull a few strings with All Might, he wasn't exactly sure about it at first, but I convinced him to help after a little bit."

"Wh-what convinced him," Jiro asked, finally gaining her breath and reeling her mind back to ground zero.

"…Don't be mad."

"Huh?"

"I...told him about you and me, and how much it would mean to you to be able to see them in concert at least once, I'm sorry for going back on our agreement to keep this secret, but I just-"

He barely had a millisecond to process, time slowing to a halt around him, the shy beauty having disappeared from her previous position, grass having been kicked up from the ground, and flew away as the winds picked up knocking a few leaves off of the top of the tree he stood under. The light cool breeze passing by clashed with his now red-hot face, the contrast felt nice against his skin, it felt quite blissful as the euphoria of the moment spread from head to toe. The quirk inheritor's mind had caught up with the rest of the world, the leaves and grass finally touched the ground, the breeze having decreased in its intensity but still remained; signaling summers approaching end.

The seasons changing and the weather didn't matter to him as much though, realizing why his heart was beating so fast, the sound pounding against his ear drums. Kyoka having embraced him, as tightly as she could, it felt like a warm blanket was placed over him as it always did, her touch always bringing him into such a trance, this time was different though, feeling his shoulder progressively got damper and damper as Jiro's chin remained placed there, tears of joy streaming down her face as she rubbed the left side of her head against his own; if he were to get an outside view, she'd be smiling brighter than ever.

He opened his mouth but no words came out, hearing her infrequent sniffles, he had never seen her so happy in their brief time together as a couple; and even when they first met on that fateful and blessed day he got into UA high. Dawning on him that he was just kind of standing there, he raised his arms from his sides, wrapping them around her torso as he leaned into her shoulder, closing his eyes as his lips curved upward.

"I could never be mad at you over this," she whispered into his ear, the shakiness in her voice almost hard to make out, but he understood perfectly.

Izuku's blush slowly faded as his eyes closed, giving into the rush of positivity in his veins, raising his left hand upwards to the back of her hair and started rubbing it, for once he didn't care about his shyness, he didn't care about his anxiety, his nervousness, or any of his social intimidation.

All he cared about, was her.

"I just, wanted to impress you, and make you happy," he muffled out.

"…Mission accomplished."

"Good, I'm glad I could do that for you today," he slowly rose his head up, opening his eyes again looking over to her, "Happy Birthday Kyoka."

"Thank you," she squeaked out, wiping the tears from her eyes, but still held him tight, and tighter…and tighter…you get the point.

"Uh-uh, Kyo…ka."

"Mhm?"

"N-n-not-…that I…don't en…joy this...but…c-c-could you…maybe do me….one fa…vor?"

"Anything."

"Losen…the grip…a little…can't….breathe," he choked out, his skin turning almost completely purple.

"Sure-OH sure," she loosened her grip, allowing Midoriya to delay his trip to the afterlife, a very loud gasp for air escaping his lips, followed by some heavy breathing, "S-sorry," she awkwardly giggled, feeling a little embarrassed that she almost suffocated her first boyfriend, motioning back from his shoulder but still kept him in the embrace.

"No no, it's fine, I come from a family of strong hugger's, I'm used to it," Deku exhaled as he started regaining his normal breathing pattern, "Every time I visit mom nearly makes me pass out from her grip."

"You think that's bad my dad almost snapped my spine in two when I got back from the hospital after the camp," Kyoka cringed at the memory, "Buuuut then again, with how much your mom cries I bet you almost drown first before you get suffocated."

"I can't say that hasn't almost happened either."

"That's it, I'm getting you a diving helmet for Christmas."

"Either that or a boat," the two started laughing at their little banter, the image of Mama and Son Midoriya flooding the streets of Japan being both funny and adorable to the two of them.

Jiro's laughter stopped a little short however, looking dead his smiling, adorable, cute, wonderful face as he laughed a little more. Emotions swirled in her chest once her eyes narrowed to fixate her gaze on him, all it ever took was seeing him, the bad days disappeared, the insecurities, all of it seemed to be a distant far away shore whenever he was in her vicinity.

Now, she could show him all of this.

Through one, simple, action.

Izuku opened his eyes for a brief moment, feeling her arms pull back from his neck, and her hands gently gripping the sides of his face, her head then closing the miniscule gap that separated them.

She closed her eyes, and parted her lips, so that she could finally take his, making contact as she let the moment rush over her. It felt like her heart almost stopped beating all together, her knee's almost gave out as they wobbled, but kept her control steady since she didn't wanna mess this up for either of them, this was their first kiss after all, it wasn't as explosive as she had always seen in movies, but it was pretty close when it came to the life changing part, it was like gentle waves crashing on the beach, as the vibrant rays of sunshine eclipsed the landscape as the sun began to set over the horizon, a calm and soothing breeze blowing from the sky, in her mind, Kyoka had never experienced a more perfect moment in her entire life.

In Izuku's head on the other hand…lets just say his thoughts her were less subtle.

FIREWORKS WENT OFF OVER AND OVER AGAIN, EXPLOSIONS EVERYWHERE, LIGHTINING UP HIS MIND LIKE THE SUN HAD JUST COMBUSTED AS THE STARS BECAME BRIGHTER AND BRIGHTER, COLORFUL STREAMERS WERE THROWN INTO THE AIR AS THAT ONE ORCHESTRIAL SONG PLAYED YOU KNOW THE ONE THE ONE THAT PLAYS IN EVERY SINGLE THING EVER MADE! HE DID, HE FLIPPIN DID IT! AT LAST, AT LAST HE FINALLY GOT TO KISS A GIRL! HE WAS ON CLOUD NINE BABY, YES, YES, YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!

*Bing*

We are sorry, Izuku Midoriya has stopped working, stand by as we try to figure out the problem, this could take up to five minutes or more to resolve and we apologize for the inconvenience. Standby and await further instruction.

Kyoka held the kiss for a full minute, even after his grip on her loosened, she understood that he would probably be stunned since this was infact a girl kissing him, but she just couldn't bring herself to end it until her body reminded her that oxygen was vital. She broke the kiss slowly, and with her eyes still closed, she leaned in next to his ear, and whispered-

"Oh my god," Aizawa groaned, slapping his palm over his face, shaking his head back and forth.

"Wh-what," Jiro asked, a little humiliated by the reaction of the adult, her ear jacks going a little haywire.

"You broke him by…kissing him," Shota groaned harder, running his hand down his face, stopping when his fingertips dragged the bottom of his eye lids down, "And here I thought he was in a coma, good lord."

"W-well what I didn't know it would break his brain!"

"Jiro, your boyfriend, and remember this part because it is very very important, is IZUKU MIDORIYA!"

"Ye-yeah but-…but," she lowered her head, not sure of how to respond, her guilt growing immense, noticing her shifting mood, the man in black sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Look, you couldn't have known, and despite it shattering his mind into a million tiny pieces, I'm sure Midoriya wouldn't blame you either," Aizawa stood back up from the floor, causing Jiro to look up at him.

"You don't think?"

"If I know him as well as I do after various hospital visits, putting him on lockdown, awkward conversations, and trying to sleep through a novella's worth of incoherent muttering in class, I don't."

"…Thanks Mr. Aizawa," Jiro smirked as she stood up next to him.

"Don't mention it," he replied in monotone, causing Jiro to chuckle a little, "Seriously don't because I'll give you detention."

"Yes sir," the shy rocker muttered out, a drop of sweat going down her forehead.

"Nice to know we have an understanding, now come on," the man in black spoke as he walked toward the elevator, Jiro following behind.

"Where are we going?"

"Downstairs, to fix the problem child," Aizawa pressed the button to call up the elevator.

"Did you figure something out?"

"Yep."

"…Well what is it?"

"Oh nothing too dramatic or complicated," Shota replied as they stepped into through the metal doors of the now arrived elevator, pressing the button to go down to the first floor, the doors slowly closing behind them, "You're just gonna kiss him again."

"Ahhhhh, that's pretty simp-WHAT," Jiro panicked as she quickly pressed the emergency stop button, causing her homeroom teacher to let out another annoyed sigh.

"You know you kids are really trying my patience, more than usual," he angrily glared at the girl.

"L-look I'm sorry but I can't just go down there and kiss him in front of everybody," she blushed, holding down her earphone jacks to stop them from spazzing out.

"By all means don't, I personally find this whole incident completely irrational, idiotic, and a few choice words I can't use because this is a K rated story, but my personal feelings aside the boy isn't going to wake up otherwise, we've tried almost everything, and now that you've shed light on the situation I believe that this is the only way to put an end to this madness. Either that, or waterboarding."

"I guess you're ri- wait I'm sorry did you say water boarding?"

"Last resort, always works on criminals. Anyway, yes, I am sorry that I must ask you to do this, but I don't think the school board needs to know that we own a human coat rack."

"I-I know but…it's just embarrassing okay?"

"Do you want Kaminari and the others to turn him into a goal ring again?"

"…They. Did. What," Kyoka asked the teacher, her own anger boiling to the surface.

"Oh yeah, forgot to mention that Kaminari, Mina, Hagakure, and Bakugo started tossing cheese puffs into his mouth trying to settle a bet."

"Grrrrrrrrrr!"

"They also dressed him up in a party hat and these really stupid looking sunglasses, god knows what they're doing to him right now while we're stuck in this elevator and not monitoring the situation directly," Aizawa fanned the flames rage inside his student, who was positively radiating an ominous aura of death and destruction, a rational deception on his part knowing that All Might and Recovery Girl would prevent any shenanigans from taking place. It was a bit cruel yes, but he was nice enough today, too tired to care, impatient, and all of these contributing factors culminated into the man black's irritation levels to rise from mild to extreme. Jiro taking notice, and with her own aggression mixing with her protectiveness for Izuku caused to press the emergency stop again allowing the elevator to finally proceed to its designated course.

"Mr. Aizawa," the shy/demon rocker growled, reminding the pro hero of a certain ticking time bomb he also had in class.

"Yes?"

"Have you punished them at all yet?"

"Well I choked them with my binding cloth, and made them keep their distance, I was planning on giving them all weekend detention."

"Would you mind if I could do something instead?"

"I cannot condone student on student violence as both a hero and an educator…that I am around to witness."

"Is that a deal?"

"Let me handle Bakugo and yes."

"Why?"

"Because…it's fun to see him break."

"You are a very scary man."

"That I am Jiro. That. I. Am."

*Ding*

Finale Part 1: End

Author's Note: Wow I did not expect to write this much for the finale chapter, hence why I separated the first half from the second half, that and today was my four year anniversary of being with my fiance so I kinda had to split up the work before we celebrated, sorry if that sounds like a very poor excuse to some of you but I really wanted to get this done kinda quick so that way i can start on other projects.

I should have the second and final part out either sometime this week or during the weekend, sorry to delay the end of this story and I hope you all understand my predicament, technical issues aside I hope you guys enjoyed this latest entry to this longer than expected story and I hope I've kept the momentum up pretty well.

Sorry for any grammar mistakes, i'll try and correct them if i find any, and as always stay safe out there, have a nice day, and keep up the good work.

Reviews are always appreciated.

See you in the finale!
